Waited 30 years - I finally got my Movado, watch . Jared’s had the exact look I had been wanting . Their customer service is extremely dependable- which puts you at ease knowing if anything went wrong - that it would be taken care of . They have a great selection of watches and jewelry . I especially like the hint email you can send someone - Lolol - which is how I got my 30 year wait Movado!!
I went here to get my wedding band. My engagement ring is a size 5 and they knew this. They gave me a size 7 wedding band and they suggested I get this size due to swelling of the fingers in the summer. At the time, the ring felt fine because I had it on for a few seconds and thought it felt fine. When I wore it again on my wedding, it kept sliding all over the place. I went in to talk to them with my husband and they told me I should have got a size 6 if I eventually want to bind my engagement ring (said I would have to size it up) due to less room once they’re binded together. They told me they don’t know why I was talked into a size 7. They didn’t offer me any discounts or anything for messing up my sizing. So after reading reviews on here for the bad experiences people have had of this place resizing rings, no thank you. I’ll take my wedding band somewhere else. The lady who initially did my wedding band had red hair and please make sure they don’t oversize your ring if you come here. Better yet, they took glass cleaner and sprayed it on my hand when trying different sizes for my wedding band — I don’t need chemicals sprayed over my hand to remove a ring size that was too small. Very unprofessional.

We arrived at open and our wedding band experience was sub-par. I am a young bride (24) and she spoke to us like children. She showed me 3 options. Never asked for a budget/ carat size. When my fiancè purchased my engagement ring they mentioned rings that would follow the curve of the band and go up into the divots of it. When we inquired about it, she looked at us confused and eventually pulled out only 1 of these for me to look at. We felt that she just wanted to make a quick sale and get us out. She was never explicitly rude, however, I felt like I wasn’t shown all of the options that there were and that she assumed our price range
If you go to Jareds in Cedar Rapids/ Lindale location, please ask for and focus your time on Kasie to deal with for service and sales, and also Jill in repair to make your dreams happen!!Kasie carries that genuine care personality and follows through with her concerns for YOUR happiness! Everyone here is extremely helpful and all of our orders / cleanings / etc have been very fast! I clean my ring at home too but getting it cleaned at Jared always leaves it extra beautiful. I also love all of the employees at this location. My fiance and I feel very welcome as soon as we walk in the door each time weve come here. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, even giving us non-jewelry related wedding advice for our upcoming wedding. Both of our rings are gorgeous. Thank you!
VERY, VERY, VERY dissatisfied with the service! I purchased my wedding ring there and they sized it one size too big. When I took it back in to get ir resized, tbey wanted ti charge me for it. I asked to speak eith a manager, but she was not interested inhelping us.
Jared is partnered with James Allen to provide service for jewelry. When I brought in a ring to be resized smaller, the sales persons demeaner immediately changed to cold. They also spent some time insulting James Allen which I found odd.After confirming three times that the ring would be done in two weeks I left. On the specified day I reached out to confirm I could pick up the ring. I was told that the minimum turn around for the work needed was three weeks.After the third week I was able to pick up the ring. There was a large pit in the bottom of the shank, EXTREME thinning of the band, and the shank was bent as well. The work was for a downsize...I reached out to James Allen as Jared had ruined the ring. They were shocked about the service I had received and asked me to send the ring back so that they could reset the stones into a new band.What was supposed to be a two week resize job turned into a two month ordeal before I got my ring back. The hassle can not be overstated. The most frustrating part is that no one at Jared cared about the bad service that they provided initially and upon return of the ring they damaged.

Terrible product. Even worse customer service! My fiancées main diamond fell out if the ring within 3 hers of her wearing it. Then they tried to blame it on her saying she bent a prong. I have the pictures after I turned the ring back in. Theres NO bent prong. They also said they would call us back the next day. They never did. We had to keep going back to get answers. In the end after I dropped over 5 thousand on a ring. They said it was going to take 3-4 weeks to replace. After 4 days of fighting and my fiancée devastated I told them to keep their ring and got a full refund....But wait theres more.... They Didnt even refund the full amount on my card. Another fight.... BUYER BEWARE.... DO NOT TRUST.Completely ruined our ring buying expierance.I walked across the street to helzberg and had AMAZING service!Thanks helzberg

I went to every jewler in the area, helzberg, kay etc and the employees ate Jared were the most helpful and the kindest, specifically Kasie. She was a wonderful help!!! She really made us feel special and she was amazingly kind 10/10 experience with her. Hopefully they see this post and give her praise!!!

On the day we arrived they were very busy, but very gracious and apologetic and every other time Ive been there there has been a staff person with me immediately. If I just wanted to look around there was no pressure. Jake was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to work with.
I had THE MOST fantastic experience with Jared in Cedar Rapids! We upgraded my wedding ring several years ago at another local jewelry store, but I was terribly unimpressed with their service, especially since any little repair or service required my wedding ring to be sent out for many weeks or even months at a time. I absolutely love my ring but due to some structural issues, was considering replacing my center quad diamonds or upgrading to another ring again. Because of the the price point I was already at, this would be a very expensive decision, one that took me over eight months to make. I weighed many options, including replacing the center quad with a white sapphire (there was just no comparison when I saw the stone in my setting.) I was then going to trade up but the thought of selling my ring made my stomach roll - that told me something. Eventually, my husband and I decided to replace the center quad with a gorgeous 2.06 carat diamond. To say I was nervous and indecisive was an gross understatement. I mainly worked with Claudia and she was SO incredibly patient and never pushed me to make a purchase I wasnt comfortable with. She was also completely honest and transparent with me, letting me know the diamond I picked may not work in my setting by damaging the integrity of the ring. Today, I got my new ring back and I could not be happier! Its simply stunning with my new center diamond and literally took my breath away! Now that I have a single stone, all future cleaning and repairs can be done in-house at Jared, and I wont be without my beloved wedding ring for more than a few hours. I would highly recommend Jared for their top-notch customer service, beautiful selection of jewelry and trusted service department. Ill be a converted customer from now on. THANK YOU!
Promise after promise broken. Jared completely ruined the engagement ring/wedding band experience. Was guaranteed to have ring returned on a specific date, three weeks later still no ring and extremely poor follow up. They did nothing to make a bad situation better and continued to give excuse after excuse. Terrible experience and terrible management and employees. I will never shop at Jared again. Severely disappointed.
Recently purchased an engagement ring here and was pleased that when I called and learned they opened in 30 minutes, they went ahead and opened early for us. We had the service of both Brooke and Claudia who helped tremendously. We found the right type of diamond and band and they rushed to put it together ASAP. We had some issues with the Jared credit card when we received it, but Claudia was sure to make it right and then some. Great people and great products!

Had my ring in to be checked and they are always friendly and didnt make us feel rushed while we looked at mens wedding rings. My only gripe was they had a hard time finding my ring in their system. They said they have it fixed, so we will see in 6 months when I go back
