It was fine. Other than giving a 20% gratuity without even knowing. I would have been happy to give a tip but not just taking it and not saying anything. Won’t be going back.

I came into missoula while traveling with family and got the day to pamper myself last minute.. Calling around, Cedar Creek was able to get me in the next day with the owner. I was very excited & Carla was very nice and we had good conversation. Coming in with an open mind, I told her I wanted a brown/honey bayalage with some auburn. While the overall color was good, the bayalage was horrendous, spotty and not blended what so ever.After going home and getting in my bright lights & looking thoroughly, the job that was done was terrible and my total bill was like $500!!!! Needless to say I was upset, esp considering I dont get my hair done that often.The lighting in the place is terrible and in hind sight I should of said something then, didnt realize it until in the car (in the sunshine)and really seeing the highlights.I reached out to Carla about my concerns the next day and she offered to fix it if I could come in. I travel in my RV so we were leaving town that day and was unable to go in. All of our texts even said I would not have left you leave the salon if it looked like that basically confirming that it looked bad..I told her a partial refund would be appreciated (if ANYTHING) as I am going to have to get this hair fixed when I return home anyways spending another $200-300.Since then, Ive received no refund of any kind or communication back since my first communications. Pretty unprofessional...Side note: another local salon called me back to schedule and I told them my experience, and they confirmed everything.. they said Cedar Creek is the worst place in the area... so save yourself -- GO ELSEWHERE.

Amazing service with very sweet and professional staff. I got the express package and I did mess up my nails changing for the other services, but it was so worth it and I feel soooooo relaxed still. Definitely would recommend the hydrating face mask and the massage!

The technicians were great but I paid for my girlfriend manicure (75$) and the paint came off within 2 days. All we received was a oops no partial refund or offer to come in to get them painted for free. Pretty bad customer service, oh well we know not to go back now!

I dont even know where to start. Today I had the WORST pedicure I have ever experienced. The leg massage super weak to the point of barely feeling it, definitely feeling no relief. The paraffin wax treatment is only supposed to be 10 minutes, but my nail tech left it on me for 15-20 minutes while she just disappeared. She was gone so long in fact, that my friend that I went with was FINISHED, painted, dried nails, ready to go, FINISHED, while I was still sitting there in wax. Finally she came back and told me they were out of the color I wanted, so I picked a new one, and she proceeded to grab an old, crusty, practically empty bottle of nail polish and gloop it onto my nails. I stopped her and asked for another new color that wasnt so old and used up. FINALLY she picked a brand new color that was an okay color, not the one I wanted or even close, and proceeded to slap it on my toes, allowing her hair to brush through it as she painted. There was nail polish EVERYWHERE. When I went to the front to ask for a manager, it turns out the girl who did my nails WAS THE MANAGER.I have never been so disappointed in a pedicure in my life. She told me I could either sit back down to have her redo them, or she could take $15 off. Such a waste of time money, immediately took the polish off when I got home.My very first mothers day treat to and it was a complete waste.Such a shame, my friend and I love this place because the other girls are great but neither of us will be returning.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO GET A SHELLAC MANICURE. I would give zero stars if I could. Three friends and I went in yesterday and all got a gel manicure and none of them turned out good. We paid 50 dollars for a manicure I could have got done better by my 7 year old sister or at Walmart. To say we are disappointed is an UNDERSTATEMENT. When we called the manager to try and meet with her to show her what we got she came up with every excuse in the books to not meet us. I expressed to her over the phone why we were all disappointed and she didnt offer a refund or anything. Pretty much told us she wouldnt meet with us or do anything about it and then HUNG UP ON ME. My friends mom is a nail tech in Scottsdale Arizona (one of the highest end cities in arizona) and she doesnt even ask 50 dollars for gels. One friends nails are uneven in color and all over her cuticles and the other has polish still visible FROM HER LAST MANICURE. As for me, you may ask, my nails look like I put 12-15 coats of polish on them. Uneven and thick. Worst nail experience I have ever had in my life. Please please please dont waste your money here. Just go to Walmart and save yourself 30 bucks.

Bad scheduling and bad organization

I loved getting my hair done by Jennie Rushing at Cedar Creek Salon in downtown Missoula. She is the best stylist!!!!! Now I feel like a million dollars.

Way too expensive for what I received. $50 for a manicure and I didnt even get polish. My cuticles are ragged and worn from gardening and they looked no different from when I arrived. My pedicure was a waste of time, very little attention to detail. I was over charged $35 and at least they refunded that portion. The booking was easy and the place was clean or I wouldve went with 1 star.

I went in to get a cut, the staff was so nice! I got exactly the cut I wanted from Jenny, she was really great to talk to!

I cannot agree more with the other poor reviews regarding nails. It is a nice place, and the staff was friendly. Went in to get my nails done and was excited. I forgot to ask for gel nail polish (if they have that) but hey thats my mistake. Next, I chose my color. This nail polish was on its last leg. She kept turning and shaking the bottle to get out the last bit. It was droopy and old. How much is nail polish? Looked like it was bought at the dollar store. She was very personable and easy to talk to, although nails may not be her thing. Her coats of nail polish looked like an 8 year old did them. I honestly thought it was a joke when I walked out. The bottom layers had lines in them and smears around the nail. After I was done, I was hurried out without my nails drying. Chipped days later. Definitely not worth $50. I do not recommend.

They totally messed up my hair completely! I went in for highlights and came out with a full head of yellow f-ing hair! And charged $180 for it. When I told them that I hated it they said I could come in and get it fixed the next day.... when I went back they added toner and some more low lights and told me that it would cost an additional $75 for that!!! Even though it was their fault! And it still looked terrible. I will never recommend this place to anyone! Way overpriced and will charge you for their mistakes!

Ben was an amazing massage practitioner I’ve had many massages over the years and I can honestly say he is one of the most knowledgeable, professional and friendly practitioners I’ve encountered. The place is clean, attractive and front desk people are very responsive and friendly. All in all an excellent experience! Highly recommended.

Was able to make a last minute appointment, got a full body hot stone massage done by Ben and it was absolutely amazing. He made me feel very comfortable while I was there and I was completely rejuvenated leaving. Would recommend going and would really like to go back soon.

Loved the ambience of Cedar Creek Spa as soon as I walked in. My back was really bothering me and this place is right around the corner from my office, so I decided to give it a try! I had a 30-minute massage with Ida and it was so lovely and relaxing - my back felt much better afterwards! I definitely recommend this place!

This was by far the WORST experience I have ever had for a manicure and pedicure. It was also the most expensive manicure and pedicure I have ever had. The quality was unacceptable. Before writing the review, I contacted the owner and asked for a refund. The answer was no. It was not in their policy. I could however, come back to have them redone. For me, that is a 140 mile round trip - not something I was willing to spend time and miles on. I hope this review makes a difference to someone considering using this business. Im not sure if the photo will show it well, but there are bubbles, cracks and lines in this super thick gel polish catastrophe. Cost of this manicure=$50. Cost of the pedicure=$65.

I recently had an Express Facial at Cedar Creek Spa with Jennie Birgitta. From the moment I stepped foot in the door I was treated wonderfully. I checked in with the Receptionist who was very courteous and offed me lemon water and a comfy seat.Jeannie did a wonderful job at making me feel comfortable. She listened to my skin concerns and took that into consideration when choosing the skin care products suitable for my skin type.The facial massage and technique were calming and so relaxing. She did a great job from start to finish! I highly recommend her and I cannot wait for my next facial with her.

I recently had Jenny do a balayage for me (first time coloring my hair!) so I was a tad stressed about the end result. We have a mother daughter sister spa day. Scheduled it a month in advance. The day before they called to confirm. We showed up 15 minutes early all of us went into to have massages. My daughter was last to go in because they said there was no one to do her service. They had a schedule issue. They gave her a hand massage while she waited 45 minutes for some one to give her a massage. When the rest of the party was done we had to waited an hour for my daughter to finish. They never offered a hand massage to us or even a couple for the next time we come in. The receptionist was rude and refused to let me speak to the owner no one called us back. I would never go back for a service that supposed to be relaxing it was terribly stressful. Planning in advance a special outing and to have one in your party have to wait by there self is unacceptable.

I had a fantastic 90 minute massage today from Ben. I had been on a 4 day cross country road trip and needed deep tissue work. Ben is extremely skilled and has a unique style that was comfortable and deeply healing. I recommend him to anyone.

I went in here for the first time and I was instantly greeted with friendly smiles! I got a facial from Alivia and my face has never felt so amazing and so clear before! She was so nice throughout the whole process and even gave me samples to take home afterwards. I will definitely be booking with her again!

Scheduled an hour facial - with my future mother in law this weekend. I was done within 40 minutes with no explanation and white crust all over my face, hairline, and neck ... which I proceeded to scrub off with a baby wipe ... very interesting facial with no massage whatsoever and minimal effort put into it. My future mother in law enjoyed her facial and had a great experience. Couldnt believe the receptionist only offered us 15 dollars off for such a poor service on mine. We wont be going back!

The customer service was friendly and nice and I was greeted and given lemon water as I walked in the door. I did the sea enzyme pedicure and the spa treatment manicure and wasnt really to impressed especially for the price I paid. The feet and hand massage was short lived. The color selection was massive. Although, when I finished my cuticles had bits of polished around the edges. I did come at the end of the day so I would recommend day time aappointments.

I was greeted warmly and catered to the second I walked in the door. The reception staff was great and offered me a refreshment while I waited on my hairstylist. The atmosphere felt warm and high-end without the pretention you can get elsewhere. Jennie Brigitta did an amazing cut, color, and eyebrow wax that left me feeling fresh and confident. The whole experience was worth every penny, and Im excited to go back to explore their spa services after my next appointment with Jennie.

I love the professional highly qualified therapists at Cedar Creek. Nicky took time to assess my most beneficial areas to treat. She is so professional and very sweet.

I booked the Cedar Creek Express Package (with a few modifications) for my friend and I for Saturday 1/4/20. The total package cost was approx. $530 and was to include a 1 hr. massage, facials, manicures, and pedicures. We are 2 busy working moms who rarely have time to self care so we were very much looking forward to our spa day together. Unfortunately it was quite a let down. 10 mins. prior to our arrival the receptionist called my friend and asked if she could reschedule her massage as they had a scheduling issue (I believe that one massage therapist may have been out sick). When my friend informed the receptionist that she would be receiving services with another individual as part of a package the receptionist said Nevermind, just come on in. Fortunately we were able to start the massages promptly at our scheduled time which we were thankful for as they had only provided us a 10 min. warning that we may be unable to do so. The massages were good (I particularly enjoyed mine as I found my massage therapist to be friendly and very knowledgeable.) Unfortunately, our services went downhill from there. Initially we were told that we were able to bring in a bottle of champagne and having received services at other spas before, we had anticipated being able to relax between services and enjoy our experience. Instead, we were shuffled from one awkward seating area to another while they prepared for our side-by-side facials. The facials were ok but seemed rushed (they were express facials though so the brevity of the facials is not a factor in my rating). My friend and I both commented to one another on how greasy our faces felt when the service was complete. We had no respite between the facials and our next service and we were shuffled downstairs in our robes to hang out behind the front desk where the manicures are apparently performed. Halfway through our manicures we were told that we could get dressed. Mind you there is no formal dressing room or ladies waiting area so we had to go one at a time to the restroom to change back into our street clothes. We were finally able to enjoy a glass of champagne while receiving our manicures but the atmosphere left much to be desired. The individual who performed my facial was also the attendant who performed my manicure which, I must say, was less than impressive (though I found the attendant to be very friendly). My friend and I each chose a different color for our nails and we both found that within 2 days our polish was chipping off at a rapid rate. (We both work desk jobs so there is really no excuse for it.) Additionally, there were clearly defined lines where the bottom coats had been applied giving our fingers the appearance of having false nails which were much smaller than our natural nails. I am by no means a nail tech but I have performed far better manicures myself in the comfort of my own home for a FRACTION of the cost! Finally we were shuffled to a room just inside the front lobby where our pedicures were performed. The nail polish on our toe nails lasted longer (as all polish tends to do on the toes) but again, the service was not worth the price for which we paid. The ladies who performed our mani/pedis were very personable but the products that they used may as well have been purchased at the Dollar Store. Upon finishing our pedicures the ladies informed us that we were welcome to relax for a moment while we waited for our toenails to dry. Not a moment later, another staff member hurried us out of the room so that she could set up for another client and we were left to wait for our nails to dry in the lobby, if it can be called that. Overall, in my humble opinion, Cedar Creek is the McDonalds of spas and I am quite disappointed that I spent so much money for such shoddy services and atmosphere. (I also purchased gift certificates for my mother and my sister for the Christmas and have since offered to replace the certificates for services with another business.)

I can only speak on their Pedicure Services, but I rate them AMAZING. I have went back for multiple, and I am never disappointed. Perfect nails every time. Amazing, calming enviroment, 3 chairs, great nail tech girls. Everything you would want from a pedicure experience. I refer all of my friends to go here. :) The sea scrub pedicure is my absolute favorite. :)

I love Cedar Creek Salon! Carla has care of my hair since I moved to Missoula in 1998 (and I have curly hair!!). The massages are very relaxing! The staff is friendly and the location is very convenient.

Had an amazing 90 minute massage with Ben, second time, very great and relaxing way to spend my birthday. Had a gift and flowers waiting for me. Will be back for sure.

Ive been to about 5 different massage places in missoula and tried Cedar Creek just now. It was amazing and the best Ive had here in Missoula. Audrey did a great job, was very friendly, and gave me some helpful tips and information. I always go somewhere new but next massage I will most likely go back to Cedar Creek.

My pedicure was not what I was expecting it to be especially for the price I paid. I left with parifin wax all over my feet and sandals. I’ve had much better pedicures for much cheaper. Not impressed at all.

Awful. I went here to get a simple color correction, cosmetologist btw. The woman botched the end toning process and after five hours I was left with hair the exact same color as when I came in. I was extremely calm and polite given the situation and was still made to pay over $200. Nobody apologized or offered to fix it, nothing, and this was backed up by the owner. Horrible customer service.

Would have left his review during the summer had I remembered to- turned them into the Better Business Bureau...but forgot to review them online. PLEASE DO NOT go here. Had my hair done in July here. Went in with blonde hair for just regular highlights. Wasn’t even going to get my hair done but the girl doing my nails when I took my family in, said she was new and wanting customers. I’m always up for trying new salons and thought- why not? Well...my hair was completely ruined (huge horizontal bleach streaks through it and terrible orange tone), and I left with toner all over my neck and scalp. Was nice about it, called back and gave them a chance to fix it. She didn’t fix it, it was worse after my second appt. Hair was all burned off in areas and left with stuff all over my scalp again. She repeatedly was using scalding hot water this time and I could tell she was freaking out a little. After seeing a different stylist in town who confirmed that I did indeed have burns from the hot water on my neck (and that this was most likely her trying to rinse the orange out with really hot water) and that my hair was ruined, I emailed the owner asking for a refund. Had given the spa over $400 that day for hair and pedicures for my family. Felt it was fair at this point to ask for a refund just for the hair portion (of course) since I had already given them a chance to fix it. Owner refused and would only offer that she try and fix it- though I appreciated this offer, I was pretty nervous to go back a third time, especially with little to no healthy hair left and two really bad experiences. Seems pretty reasonable to me, I was very nice about it -but still a no go. All in all it has cost me almost $1,000 to fix my hair after that experience and I ended up having to chop most of it off it was so ruined. Major bummer. Missoula is SO full of lovely, good salons that would not treat their customers this way- support kind, honorable, local businesses and save your hair!

We were on time for our appointment (so technically early) but still had to wait, had to ask several times for a glass of water, through the pedi appt had to sit amongst other peoples trash, mani for one daughter was literally a nail polish application while the other daughter got lotioned. To end our experience, a tech said now you just have to wait and both techs left, never to return. Not a thank you for coming, nothing. I understand waiting for polish to dry, so we did wait but 20+ minutes and no one even came back to check on us. We finally just walked out. I dont know if the service was less-than because it was for children but they still deserve some courtesy. To top it off, a mere hours later, polish is already chipped on multiple nails from running her fingers through her hair.Anything but a quality, professional experience.We wont be back.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Yesterday I eagerly went into my hair appointment at 2 pm. I was scheduled with Sara but the owner Carla introduced herself as my stylist so I thought maybe I mixed up the name. I showed her photos of balayage ombres and explained exactly what I wanted. I already had an ombré it was just very subtle. So four hours later she washes, dries and spins me around. My hair was orange. All over my head, was blotchy patchy copper orange. She cut four inches off my hair making the underneath shorter than the top layer when I asked for a trim. I sat there in shock. It was nothing like I asked or showed her. Ive spent my whole life growing out my hair and she ruined the color and length. She then proceeded to charge me $300 (double what Ive ever paid) so I confusingly gave her my credit card and left. I thought maybe I could style it to look better, but when I got home and saw it in better light and up close I saw the hack job she sent me out the door with. I immediately got back in the car and drove back. To my surprise she was already gone. I told the receptionist I was extremely upset with it and she went to grab the stylists that were there. Sara (the girl I was scheduled to be with) starting crying after I explained it all to her. She looked through my hair in utter shock at the horrible and unprofessional job her boss had done. So she and Jordan (another stylist) made a plan and got started. Jordan worked on color correcting my orange damaged chopped hair until 10 pm when we finally got to a color I could go into public with. She was a miracle! Were going to have to keep color correcting it a few more times but she promises we can fix it.I went into the salon today and I told her that I asked for a specific treatment and she not only didnt deliver that to me, but did an extremely poor job and let me leave the salon with fried orange hair. She continuously blamed me saying that I kept her employees there after hours and that my hair had black spots in it that wouldnt turn blonde (not true, my hair was brown) and that she gave me what I asked for. After five minutes of arguing she kicked me out of the salon, told me that I was giving her stress, and did not refund me. I wouldnt recommend this establishment to my worse enemy. The entire experience was horrible. She took advantage of a 20 year old college student and charged me a price close to what I pay in rent. She was extremely mean and accusatory when I went in to speak with her and did nothing to try to make it right. Horrible customer service through and through.

I was absolutely blessed to have the Cedar Creek ladies on our team for my wedding in June 2021. We booked a large bridal package with hair and makeup for me, and hairstyling for my bridesmaids and moms. We were treated with exceptional service and felt FABULOUS on the day of the ceremony. Erin is an exceptional makeup artist and did a perfect job on my makeup while teaching me tips along the way. Jennie did my hair exactly as I wanted, and they both helped secure my flower crown - so well that it stayed on until we closed out the bars at 2am. Carla was a joy to work with and she took some extra special time styling my MILs wig - she had recently been through chemo and was very stressed about how she would look at the wedding - Carlas skill and kindness make her cry. I couldnt have asked for a better wedding day experience. Thank you thank you thank you!
