Wendell is absolutely wonderful! Condition of my hair has vastly improved owe that to Wendell. Love my cut and color my hair is healthy, soft, shiny! My hair was rough after a year of not seeing a professional, but Lori gave me the best cut Ive had in a long time! She was able to cut my hair in a way that accents its natural waviness, and I love it. I would definitely recommend Lori and Tangles and I will absolutely be back!

Lori is a Hairstylest here that says she’s good with colors due to her certification. My sisters and I have all been to her. My sisters twice and she seems to not to be able to get the color right. Than she insists it will go lighter due to a shampoo. We canceled our appointment with her.

Absolutely a delight! As a loyal customer since 2001, I cant imagine going anywhere else. The staff is courteous and well-trained. My cut and color are always just right. And, I know, if it wasnt, they wouldnt hesitate to make a correction.

Clients are telling me they feel safe here and many are changing things up since their hair hair grew out so much during this pandemic. It seems we get to be more creative!

Called in and scheduled an appointment. Service was very speedy even though I arrived early. Kim (the owner and stylist who worked with me) was very kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. I didnt really know how I wanted my hair cut bit she worked with me and came up with a style that Im quite happy with. Will definitely be coming back.

Nisha does a fabulous job on my nails. Shellac manicures are the best. And Kim does a fantastic job on my hair. Friendly, comfortable atmosphere!

I went to get my hair done, basically a haircut and all over color. It was supposed to be very bright red but it came out, kind of red, with some brown still, plus faded completely in a week. So I got a $200 haircut, whoopee. Plus Im pregnant now and cant even get it re-done. I would suggest somewhere else.

Wendell at Tangles is a remarkable person, in addition to having spend upwards of 30 years as a stylist at Tangles, a longtime Missoula hair salon. It doesnt have the chi chi vibe of larger salons in Seattle, Manhattan, or San Francisco...but personalized service is more about relationship building and supporting community businesses. To me anyway...and I have had Japanese Thermal Re-Conditioning Treatments, many different professional dye jobs, and well as some dramatic hair cuts and Wendell at Tangles does have a gentle touch and a very good eye for classic looks. If you are looking for a place where you can talk your stylist and not pay out the ear for parking (or at all) give Tangles a try.

Been going to Tangles in Missoula for a couple years now, and let them do their magic on my hair. My hair looks good when I get out of the barber chair and it looks good when I walk back in their door 4 months later for another haircut. Guess that makes me a :) customer

Tangles is absolutly wonderful! They have seperate and sections where you get your hair cut, so its private. I thought that was pretty awesome. The owner cut my hair, and she loves her job, is very talkative (which is always a plus) and she does a wonderful job! I have never gone to a hairstylist who listens to what i would like to do with my hair. I recommend getting your hair cut here.

First experience ever trying to use a salon. Spent a lot of time on the website trying to understand the options since I am a newbie. When I called to get more information I was directed to go to the website. I decided on 3 products and booked my appointment. Came to the building to find out the nail tech was out for the day and my phone number had been written down wrong. Was not even able to get my eyebrows waxed.

Had a fantastic pedicure with the sweetest young lady. Definitely recommend Tangles for pedicures.

Very rude staff. I went in and had my hair cut and styled for a year or more faithfully and always tipped well. One day I went in for my scheduled appointment and was told to take a seat in the stylist chair and wait for him. I stopped momentarily to look at some product and the stylist barked at me to go to his seat and wait there for him there, which I did. In hindsight, I should have have turned around and walked out the door. I have never gone back.

Kim is just the best! Honest, skilled and insightful.

Coming from larger cities its great to find an excellent salon with a highly talented staff!

They graciously put up with me and my problem hair. I love them!
