Went into Nail Trix earlier today with my cousin, hoping to have some quality time with them. Unfortunately, what I got instead was shaved and overly cut cuticles which bled all over a paper towel. Joyce was rushing and barely said a word to me the whole time she was doing my nails, meanwhile after she had successfully cut multiple fingers in the cuticle area, she proceeded to aggressively nail file on the bleeding areas and poor alcohol in the open wounds. By the time I ashamedly paid $50 I was on the verge of tears from pain and buyer’s remorse. My cousin’s nails were also really blocky looking when we left, and that should never be how someone’s nails look after leaving a salon.Everything is super unsanitary and honestly you could probably get a secondary infection from all the dead skin and grime that’s on every nail tech’s equipment. Literally go anywhere else!

I usually don’t write reviews but if I can save someone the money and discomfort it is worth it.Me, my daughter and her friend had manicures done at this nail salon. At first we were excited they took walk-ins. It was a terrible experience. They were not friendly, they were rough and we all left with bleeding cuticles. They didn’t let you know how long to sit under light so the nails were not dry and smudged immediately. I would not recommend them, it is three days later and my finger is red and inflamed. I would have rather been told they didn’t have time.

Brought my girlfriend here and spent over a hundred dollars just for her nail gel polish to crack within 48 hours . Went back to talk with business to fix this issue . They did not want to do anything unless we paid more money . We even paid for the the extra premium price. very poor service and quality

My two sisters and I went to go get their nails done on a whim. One of my sisters went first and had a reference photo ready and even asked if it was too difficult. It was ghostface on the ring finger, a drip design on the pointer, and the rest were solid colors. My sister saw what the ghostface process was looking like and decided to not do it and do more drips instead. She came out ready to cry because they were thick, uneven, and the nail art was smudged and you couldn’t even tell what it was. My second sister cancelled and when we went up to pay we asked for a refund or a discount because of the poor job. She allowed them to try and fix the nails. So they shaved them down and did a solid blue color instead. She was okay with afterwards and payed the original price and tipped $15. The receptionist was kind but the nail tech should’ve voiced that the design was too difficult and listed what they could do.

Beautiful, fast, and the man who does my nails always makes me laugh. Highly recommend

I made an appointment at Nail Trix because I have a busy schedule and I needed to be in and out of my nail appointment by a certain time. I’m pretty sure this place says you have an ‘appointment’ but you really dont. Joyce didnt care I had other things on my schedule for the day… she only cares about ‘her’ schedule and how much money she can make by squeezing in as many people possible.They took 5 walk ins while I waited for my scheduled appointment. I waited 1/2 hour and still nothing, so I walked out.Joyce is rude and inconsiderate of anyone else’s time.

I enjoyed getting my nails done before a wedding at Nail Trix. The shop itself is very fresh and new with lots of good lighting and space. I appreciated the precautions in place for COVID as well. The gel had a bit of an uneven texture to it, but it stayed on perfectly and the color was fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly and I really enjoyed my time there.

I took my two young daughters here to get our nails done for a fun day. I about died when the lady told me how much. $235!!!!!!! I have never spent that much money on get my nails done ever. we just got them painted too. I will never be back.

Dont waste your time making a reservation here. We had a reservation at 230 for my daughters birthday and at 3, we finally got up and left because they had served three walk-ins before us. There are other places in Missoula that are better. Very unprofessional.

This was the absolute worst place I’ve gotten a pedicure. I waited for 30 mins after my set appointment time! Subpar for sure, the technician was incredibly rude and the polish on my toes was choppy and overall low quality! Please don’t waste your money it’s NOT worth it.

I went in for a gel manicure. The man who did it made me push my hand into a small glass that was slightly larger than a shot glass to soak off my old polish. It was way too small and it hurt my hands. He was clearly in a hurry and didn’t want to take the time to find something else. He didn’t clean up my cuticles at all and cut one of them while grinding my nails. Didn’t acknowledge it or apologize. My nails look sloppy and my thumb started peeling three hours after I was done. Complete waste of money and time.

Went here for my first manicure with my fiance the week before our wedding. Terrible service, she didnt even clip my nails to make a difference to how they looked coming in. My fiance said it was her worst mani/pedi ever. Dont waste your time or money

Not the best covid precautions, but nails looked great. I was pregnant so I wiped the station down myself before I sat down. Man doing my nails didnt look impressed but I wasnt about to sit at a dirty station, especially with the extra risks involved. Otherwise, it was a nice experience.

Nails cracked and pealing after two days. One split open and wet paint came out. Poor quality not worth your money.

As someone who doesnt typically feel comfortable getting their nails done, everyone I have seen here have been kind, professional, and accommodating, especially with abiding by all the new health codes.It is clean and everyone wears masks the whole time and Ive seen them diligently wiping down and cleaning the stations.Highly recommend.

Made an appointment for powder dip and arrived on time. My sister and I were immediately seated to choose our nail color options, but within 30 seconds someone was coming over to ask which colors we wanted. Not nearly enough time, but I appreciated the promptness. Was seated at a dirty table and the man doing my nails immediately started grinding away very aggressively. My sister was told there wasn’t enough time to do the nails she wanted so she would have to do something less complicated. (She wanted French tips) man doing my nails cut the coffin shape very unevenly and my nails have turned out crooked and lumpy. While he was doing my nails, he dipped the wrong nail into the wrong color multiple times and seemed very very rushed. Nails have not taken any damage, and the girl doing my sisters nails was incredibly nice and did a wonderfully even and smooth job, but an overall 2 star experience.

I love this place! Joyce and her staff are incredibly nice. I got in right away after choosing my colors, no waiting. I just got my nails done 12/15/19. acrylic plus design, looks extremely nice. No crooked nails or chipping and shape is what i asked for. nail tech was very nice and was not rough with my hands at all:)! We had a nice conversation. Very good service. highly recommended.

Details05/19/2020Went today for a pedicure after a long COVID hiatus. Everything was updated, from the location to all of the equipment. Was a beautiful and large layout and service was great (the sugar scrub smelled awesome [lemon]). The most significant observation was how much the customers missed the employees. There’s a clear sense that strong bonds have been established. That speaks volumes.This is the kind of neighborhood salon I want to go to. I’ll be back.

I havent had a pedicure in 30 years. Today my two daughters and my grand-daughter in law and my self had pedicures done. My feet feels so good! My skin is soft! This was the best gift I could have given myself.

The guy who did my daughters nails, (gel acrylic) filed to short on the edges & cut her twice, I picked out Halloween colors & he didnt want to find the colors & tried to only do the color he chose. He was in such a hurry. I didnt feel welcomed at all.

Ive gone here a few times over the last several years. I get gel nails, to treat myself, only once in awhile. I am now thinking Ill go more often and keep my nails done. I called, got in right away, really not sure if I would or could. It was clean and organized inside. Right when walking in, I was greeted kindly, by someone who was busy doing nails but made sure I would be helped. A very friendly nail tech named Jade did my nails and was professional, kind, pleasant to visit with and did a great job. I love how my nails look, very Valentinesy!

Really bad with customer service and nails chipped off in two days and needs to be fixed overly priced and waiting for an hour to just get two nails fix BS Smh

PROSGentleman who did my nails was very gentle but efficient and was not afraid to move my hand and arms where he needed them in order to do his job. He took his time without being slow and went over each nail with care and took the time to make sure there was no excess acrylic under my nails.CONSThere is a large wall behind the front desk when you first enter so you really have to stand to the side in order to be seen because no one was standing up front and no one came up periodicly to check to. While the staff was professional they were not friendly. No one said hello or really tried to engage in any way they just wanted to know what color and what shape I wanted my nails to be. After my nails were done they sat me to let them dry no one came to check on me almost an hour where they asked me if I was ready to pay. So I just felt ignored.

I asked for SNS powder they used acrylic. I will not be coming back here. Dismissive on the phone when I called to tell them to be careful in the future because acrylics are much harder to remove and not what I asked for.

Yeah, so I’ve been going here for years and years with my mom, and like the day after they’ve always chipped off. And in full. The whole frickin nail full of polish job just, comes off. And one day (I got glasses a month before, but I don’t think I looked THAT different) they just acted like they didn’t know me. It was very strange. The nail polish is very pretty, and they do a good job, I just don’t like spending 20 bucks on a manicure that comes off the next day.

Went in for a girls day. Had an appointment yet we still waited 30 minutes before anyone came to do our pedicures. And the girl I was with didn’t get hers done till an hour after the appointment was supposed to start. They weren’t extremely busy so there is no excuse for the wait. They took forever to get anything done. No one ever introduced themselves. The girl doing my nails was EXTREMELY RUDE to the friend I went with for no reason at all. I also got a manicure. My nails have started chipping 2 days later. I don’t do anything with my nails. I’ve been at home relaxing for 2 days so no reason for them to be chipped already! The only good thing was the cleanliness was great! Save your money and go somewhere better.

I came in to get a full set and the manager ended up being the person to do my nails. I haven’t been here in maybe 4 or 5 years and after today I will not go back again! I am in pain, my fingers hurt so bad because the manager was so rough, not to mention my nails are sloppy af. I try to only leave reviews to people who do amazing service, or to let others know what to expect when there’s bad service. My hands hurt so bad 😢

Salon was nice and staff was very friendly. My daughter and I both had our nails done and neither of us were satisfied. My nails were cut way too short and hers were thick and shaped too square. I would not recommend anyone go for acrylic or gel nails, but possibly a simple manicure.

I went in today with 3 other people, 3 of us getting pedicures and the other a manicure, and the 3 of us getting pedicures got sat down after around 10 minutes of being there however while waiting over a half an hour none of us three getting pedicures were told that we were going to be helped soon or that maybe they were behind a bit, not one interaction except one time to warm our water and the girl getting manicure wasn’t talked to at all while three other ladies (who didn’t have appointments also) came in and got their manicures done and sat down right away. ridiculous customer service.

Able to service walk-ins. Nail techs were all kind and cleanly. My nails came out the the exact length and shape I asked for, I was very happy with how they looked when finished. We were able to dry our nails at a lamp with no rush.

Appreciated being able to drop in but was the worst pedicure I’ve ever had. Tech watched tv the entire time and smelled of strong cigarette smoke. Filing is uneven and cuticles we’re not cleaned up, polish coming off after 5 days. Very disappointed...

This place has a fun vibe, they do great work, and they take drop ins. The new massage chairs work great too! Highly recommended for busy people who need a little pampering.

Where to start....waited 50 minutes after appointment time. Tech did not introduce herself, said absolutely nothing during ordeal. Pedicure ok, NOT great. Manicure done in pedicure chair with tech standing up & walking around chair! Worse manicure ever! Did not trim cuticles. Polish in middle but not on sides if nails. Shaped haphazardly, like a drunk did them. Lumps in polish. I went home took off all the polish, removed cuticles, polished. For this I paid $50. Please don’t go here, they don’t know what they’re doing & care even less.

Myself and my sister in law visit Nail Trix as often as possible for our Girl Day pedicures.We request the same two girls, relax in our massage chairs and all 4 of us have a wonderful conversation!Its a nice place, clean and friendly staff.They do a great job no matter what your pampering needs are.Thanks Ladies

I gave this place a second chance before I reviewed it and it let me down again. The color selection is great and service is fast, but the lady who greeted me at the front was not very pleasant, and the first time I came here and got a pedicure with my mom the employees were gossiping audibly the whole time about people who walked in. I recently came and got a gel polish done and wasn’t expecting a lot and that is what I received. The edges of my polish were coming up the day after I got them. The polish job was obviously done in haste and without much attention. If you get you nails done here don’t let anyone look too close.

I have taken my daughter here multiple times. I was waiting with my daughter to get her nails done, she is 17. The lady who takes care of the front desk tells me I need to sit outside because I am not a customer. So someone else could sit where I was sitting while waiting for my daughter. So unprofessional!!! I have never been treated this way before. Little did that lady know I was planning on buying 2 gift certificates and paying for my daughter nails.

Wont go back. The lady who did my pedicure did not sat hello, how are you, or anything else to me. Just started working on me. Very awkward & rude! Too many other welcoming places to choose from, in Missoula.

I have gone here for years and been very happy until this year. I went in for a pedicure and within 2 days my polish was coming off. I thought it was a fluke so I tried again and same thing. My bestie and I both experienced our polish coming off within days. Something changed and not for the good. Sadly I would not recommend.

As a medical person, I value cleanliness and attention to sterilization and this salon has been addressing this for years. The ONE time I went somewhere else many years ago, I got a fungus! I remain a loyal, consistent supporter of this business!!

By far the laziest pedicure I’ve ever had done. Lady was too busy watching the tv and avoiding any interaction. The massage was pathetic. Lotion she used is so greasy it didn’t sink in, so I’m currently sliding around in my flip flops. My leggings are soaked in it. Never ever again. I’ll stick to Reserve Nails!

Ive tried Nail Truck a few different times and havent had great luck there. My nails are always uneven and start to pop off within a few days. They dont get evened out on the sides and when I ask if they can do a certain design they tell me yes and end up doing something completely different.

Not thrilled. Got acrylic nails done for a wedding I’m in next weekend and I asked specifically for them to be natural looking and thin! They are literally the opposite, thick and short and square as can be. So disappointed.. not to mention the blonde girl that did them was as unpleasant as my nails.

Love the staff at Nail Trix! Very professional, great color choices, very clean, and the massage chairs are wonderful. I was told that in the summer it is helpful to make a reservation for a pedicure, but not required. Very reasonable rates, too.

They initially did my acrylic nails, and failed to file my nails in a professional manner. I could have done a better job at home! After a month, I went back to get them taken off. The man who took them off seemed distracted and indifferent to my pain. By using another fake nail to (literally) PRY my acrylics off, I was crying within minutes. My nails are destroyed and Ive now spent two weeks dealing with flaking, weak, bleeding nails. I spent ten dollars to get them off and I was left VERY disappointed. Please dont ever pay ten dollars for them to inflict pain on you. To take acrylics off, acetone should help to initially soften the nail. No acetone was used whatsoever, which was my first red flag. I am going to return to the salon to complain and show the evidence of my ruined nails.

4 of us went for mother’s day (the Saturday before)The girl doing mine was rude, nasty and did a very poor job. O my 1 of the 4 of us had a decent pedicure. Will not be going back.

I went in with my mom to get acrylic nails done for some girl time, we were not impressed, the lady who did my mothers nails was terrible! She made them very uneven they looked like they were bubbles! The shape wasn’t even either. She had to go home and fix them her self! Definitely was NOT worth $100! I wish we read some of the reviews before we went! This is a few weeks later my mom got nail FUNGUS you guys were not sanitary at all! I would never in my whole life recommend you guys to anyone!!! Never going back.

My 11- year-old daughter and myself watching You Tube can do my nails better than Nail Trix! Do not waste your money!!! I was in and out within 20 minutes for a gel polish manicure, it looks like my nails were done in 20 minutes. I am one very dissatisfied customer, if I could write them negative 5 I would.

WORST experience EVER!!! ZERO STARS wasn’t an option but is what this place really is! Filthy and horrible service, should have left right away when it was so dirty but gave it the benefit of the doubt. I never leave reviews anywhere but this was truly the worst service I have ever got anywhere for anything! I had an appt which I was 5 min early for, 15 minutes late they finally seated me. Just sat with my feet soaking in the water for another 30 minutes. At that point I got up and left, 45 minutes later and NEVER even got a pedicure. Wow I’m just blown away! And I wasn’t the only person sitting there for an extended period of time. Why take an appointment if you have no hope of fulfilling it! Just absolutely the worst place I have been!

The salon does great with their nails but the wait time when your under the lamp was way to long. The lady said it should take 15 minuets and i waited and hour. Otherwise great salon

Im writing this review while Im sitting here getting a pedicure with my mom. We are both shaking our heads listening to the two girls focus more on their gossip than our toes. We dont want to hear you bad mouthing a fellow employee about taking a week off, and we dont care what you gave your dog for dinner. We work two jobs per day, and couldnt help but chuckle that they were complaining about not being able to take a break at the beginning of their shift. Love the owners of the company, but they should really look into cleaning house and hiring people with better work ethics.

The service here is barely adequate and your pedicure it might last for a couple of weeks and don’t bother making an appointment because that doesn’t mean anything you still have to stand behind all of the walk-ins I won’t ever be back

The one and only reason I give Nail Trix a one star rating is because of one person named Jay. So my friend and I were going to get our nails done and I was getting the gel and she was just getting her’s painted. We both sat down in different areas of the room and while I was getting mu nails done, Jay would harshly grab my hands, and she did a terrible job, there was paint all over my fingers, she was talking to other people as she was doing my nails, and had no conversation what so ever, I was very upset with this, and gel should take longer than just getting them painted, but I was finished before my friend. She has also had Jay before and told me that she did terrible on her nails. I would very much appreciate it if this would be her last warning and if it happens again, she would be fired. Thank you

Horrible service! Went in to get pedicures and a manicure for an upcoming wedding. We were told we would have to wait an hour and a half. No big deal, we are in the mall, right? Showed up 5 minutes before we were told to be back. It took a few minutes to pick polishes for the 4 of us. The 3 of us that were getting pedicures were finally taken back to our chairs. Normally, my small complaint would be that I didnt get to soak long enough before my service. Today, we soaked for OVER 30 minutes and we still hadnt been talked to... no, hey, were running a little behind or it will be a little bit, there are X number of ladies ahead of you and in the meantime, our other person getting the manicure hasnt even been spoken to or seated at a table. Finally, we all just got up and left...and they could tell we were putting our shoes on and leaving and NOT ONE WORD was said to us!Im a nail tech in real life and NEVER would this have happened in my salon.Its been a few years since Ive been here and the first time since they relocated to their new space in the mall.Not sure I will ever step foot in here again.

I had to wait 30 minutes after my already scheduled appointment time. Once I got seated my nail tech didnt do what I asked. Instead of using white and glitter powder as I requested, they used pink and then painted them. They also got acrylic and polish all over my fingers, and made me bleed. I will never go back to Nail Trix.

They did I wonderful job of getting my friend and I in when they were super busy! We were moved into the pedicure chairs within a couple minutes and sat there while waiting for a pedicurist to be available. It was very relaxing and they did a great job with the toes! Only thing they could work on is conversations. They didn’t say much. Not even a greeting really.

I got my nails done here today and it wasn’t great but not bad either......

I went into this salon with dipped nails. I asked for a manicure and gel nails. The technician RIPPED my dipped nail covering off, causing one of my nails to bleed. She then took out manicure tools from a DIRTY box. I asked if the tools had been sanitized and ONLY THEN did she take an UNSANITIZED tool to tear off the outer sand paper and say, I will make this new! I stopped the manicure immediately and told her I didnt want nail fungus. I paid $10 to have my long nails TORN off with the dipped polish, bleed, and walk out with the most unkept nails I have had in years!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND Nail Trix!

Ive been there twice now. First time was a good experience. Second time not so much. We were a group of 5 ladies. The quality of work done on our nails wasnt that good. One of the girls in my group had her finger bleeding from cutting to much on the cuticles. It didnt stop bleeding so they just went ahead and put the polish on, getting blood on the brush & dipping it right back in the polish again! This same thing happened to another friend of mine on a separate occasion! The pedicure was nice, but I didnt feel like the pressure points were targeted very well. Another thing I dont pay to have nail trix employees talk about their political views, we each have our own opinions & might not feel the same way as you.

I went there to get a acrylic set they are crooked and they got acrylic spilling off of my nail cause my nail to detach from my skin. They also got paint all over around my nail. The lady didn’t talk to me and got frustrated when I didn’t know what she was saying cause she was wearing a mask.

They dont put the acrylic far enough back there crooked paint job is choppy argues when want a something fixed or says will fix then never does they reuse products without sanitizing them eww! They talk in there own language witch makes me wonder if there Talking about us dont go here ever also tried to charge me 15 extra for jel polish just cause i wanted one dot of color on one nail witch they didnt have in non jel

Have been there many times and have only had good experiences. The staff is always pleasant and my toes are always great. The Polish lasts for weeks and weeks. Love going there!!

Stayed open late to do my nails for mothers day. Was super quick and had a couple noticeable screwups on the nails. One nail popped off within a week and the others didnt want to come off even after it had been 3 weeks.

This was my second trip to nail Trix, the first time they did an excellent job, I couldnt have been happier. This time though I was a little disappointed. I had a fil done by one of the other girls and Im not quite as happy with the quality.

This place is great. Pedi chairs are on the floor, not on a riser, most of the techs are not aisian, making communication and access easier!

Wasnt terrible, wasnt great. Wouldnt have left a review at all, except that today I woke up limping and its bc of the pedicure I got here. The lady must have misread the shape of my large toenails bc she pulled out part of the left one. I winced in the moment and she noticed and said Im sorry, but at least now youre free of in-growns. I thought I didnt have any in-growns but I didnt say that.The rest of the pedicure was fine and she did a good job w the polish etc. But now Im limping bc she pulled out part of a perfectly fine toenail. Wont personally be back.

My experiences here have been about 50 50. I think theyve always been able to get me in quickly. I love that theyre quick and the gel polish have lasted me for about a week in a half before chipping. Most the time my nails keep pretty well from there, lasting for a couple weeks which is pretty standard. I recommend going at unusual times when theyre less busy. The staff is usually pretty friendly and nice to talk with.

So, I really wanted to like this place, unfortunately I cant. I went for the first time with a friend of mine who is a beautician & she was taken aback by some of the sanitary measures (or lack thereof) that her home state would not allow a beautician to do. My pedicure was fine but the manicure was not. I had bleeding cuticles & instead of taking time to allow the bleeding to stop, (everyone seemed to want to get the job done fast) the nail tech did her best to glue & paint over my bleeding cuticle resulting in my nail looking like a bloody Halloween design (not what I was going for). The blood washed away after a day but my cuticle was swollen longer than that. Overall, I wasnt pleased at all with the cleanliness. My sister has come here & she had a great experience, unfortunately for me, it wasnt. Nail Trix may be for some people, but not for me.

The lady said to wait 30 minutes for a walk in then it became 50 minutes then... not something new but you’d think they’d know how to manage time better and stop taking appts back to back. Three other groups came in as we waited, so I’m sure they were glad when we freed up the schedule by leaving. Not going here ever again. They only get business bc of their location in the mall.

Great conversation, good massage, not so good nail job. I get my nails clearcoated and the coat was so thin, it started flaking off the next day.

My sister and I took my mother here as a birthday gift, because it was the only place in town with at least 3 chairs. Before this, I have gotten pedicures at All That Jazz and Bella Sauvage, and I would recommend either of those over Nail Trix. The massage chairs are comfortable, but the foot soak isnt great - barely any jets. The staff were friendly but not very thorough. The foot massage did not last long and was done with gloves on, which i didnt think felt as good as without. Additionally, the staff doing my pedicure didnt really work on my heels and did not apply any lotion to my heels. Usually I leave a pedicure feeling very moisturized and I didnt after this pedicure. The only perk is that this pedicure only cost $32 while everywhere else in town is $40 or more. You get what you pay for I would say!

They got me right in when I made an appointment and they did fantastic work with my nails and my eyebrows! Overall best nail expereience I have had.

I wished Id read the reviews on this place before going here. I went in for a polish change on my toenails and a manicure, and it was the worst Ive ever had. The lady was not friendly and obviously just didnt care. The polish job she did was horrid, you could see the line were she had put the 2nd coat, and it was all over my fingers. I shouldve saved my $35 and had my 6 yr old niece do it instead. Go someplace else to spend your hard earned money.

Went in for pedi and was told it would take an hour so I waited the hour was then put in a seat, couple minutes later a gal was sat next to me. I then waited an extra 30 minutes and the gal next to me was helped before I was. I have been there before and they were a bit rude. Just thought I should let people know this is the worst place Ive ever been to. Walmart does it better than these guys.

First time I went there i scheduled at 1230 and they only got me at 1255. I decided to give another chance, today sunday 04/7 i scheduled an appt at 430 pm, by 5 pm i still didnt get call. Told the okder lady that was in charge, that it doesn’t seem fair that they dont wait for customer more than 10 min to cancel their appointment anf i have been there for 30 min, she didn’t apologize or anything, she was ready to get another customer. She knew i was there and keep saying the manicure will be with me in a bit. If she was late more than 30 min, it means she took someone else, just be honest and tell your customer. So rude! What a waste of my time, i will NEVER come back
