Brought in a poorly running Husky trimmer. Said it would take a week. Got a call 5 days later. Trimmer all cleaned up, running great. Minimum charge for a simple fix.

Completely ripped us off!!! We talked to them in depth last year about fixing our mower vs selling and scrapping it and they convinced us to keep and fix it. The belt kept jumping off and they “fixed it” we used it maybe 4 times that year and the first time we tried to use it this year same thing?! We call and they are mean and condescending and awful. Saying we should sell it for 400$ lthats LESS THAN THEY CHARGED US TO FIX IT!! 10 months ago. Rip off stay away

My push lawn mower was having some engine problems. I called around to a few places in town to see if they can fix my mower. One of the places in town was backed up for at least a month. Missoula Power Equipment fixed my lawn mower in 2 days. They were knowledgeable, helpful, and the price was lower than I expected. My mower runs great. Thanks!

Worst experience ever! I never had any trouble with my lawnmower before, until I took it to this place for maintenance, they ruined it completely and charged a fortune to do it. Please take my advice and take your equipment somewhere else. Of course other places are backed up for a month for a reason, this place is horrible.

This is the second time I’ve tried to use this place in about a year year and a half the first time they rebuild a pressure washer and put oil in the engine. the owner did right by replacing it after explaining the repair man had personal issues I figured I would give them a second chance and went in to get a fuel hose for a weed eater the employee behind the counter appeared more irritated that I was asking for a fuel hose appeared to be bored he wouldn’t even look to see what the hose length was or even which was intake I would NOT recommend to anyone

Customer Service that is beyond exceptional. My walker 2 stage snow blower snapped a pin inside the blower I could not access. -10 below at 5pm. Called Dave he walked me through trying to fix it.When we determined I would have to bring it in the next day he promptly took it in his shop when I got there from Polson and had it back to me by 5pm. You do not get this kind of customer service anywhere that I know of!!!!

This place gives excellent customer service. When I was first looking to buy a riding lawn mower, I didnt know a thing about them, the owner took the time to explain to me what kind of mower I might need, even though it was clear I probably wouldnt be buying one there.

Would not sell me the fuel line for my weed eater, part #530069247 unless I brought my weed eater into the shop. Went home and ordered on Amazon with no hassle and free shipping......

Called Missoula Power Equipment with two questions.Asked what it would cost for a mower tune-up. Quick answer of $45 plus parts, but then started saying he would probably have to rebuild the carb (mind you, this is even before Ive said anything about my mower or why I want/might need a tune-up).I find it weird hes already saying the carb needs to be rebuilt without any information besides I own a basic push mower with a Briggs and Stratton engine. That is what it is, could be good just trying to warn customers of what it could come up to. Ill take that with a grain of salt. What made me decide to literally just end the call is after I told him my Briggs and Stratton engine, (which at first I misspoke and just said mower, which he went off for a bit about how they dont make mowers, even after I mentioned I misspoke because its the engine that I am having issues with), that the engine has never started well and just wont start now. That it has a 2 year warranty on it and then was trying to ask if they find defective parts would they go through the warranty to repair. Before I can even finish speaking to the warranty, the person on the line cuts me off, tells me that gas left in it over winter isnt covered under warranty and theyd have to charge.I get that might happen a lot, but dont cut off the customer when they are trying to explain and ask a question, especially with assumptions. I just got back from San Diego, the mower has been used weekly for just over a year. It hasnt been used for two weeks during the move. I drained it of gas before I moved (requirement of the moving company).I explained that no gas was left in over winter and then started to again ask about if they work through Briggs and Stratton warranty for defective parts. He cuts me off again, talks about how leaving gas in wouldnt be covered and thats why its having issues starting.I started to try and ask my question again, but just gave up and said never mind and hung up.Maybe the guy on the phone was having a bad day, but dont take it out on a potential customer. I was planning on dropping it off, expecting the tune-up charge but just wanted to be reassured if there was something defective they would work through the warranty. Now after such a bad initial experience, I dont think Ill take any business there and recommend others to stay away. Plenty of places in town to choose from, so Missoula Power Equipment should work on their initial customer service a little bit and actually listen to a customer.
