Our son attends college at UofM and his 2005 Ford F150 began making a knocking noise quickly after leaving the parking lot. We had it towed to the FORD dealership and their diagnosis was over $8600 for a new transmission and repairs. (The truck only has around 102,000 miles which is why we wanted to fix it.) We called around and my husband was ready to junk it for $800. After speaking with Sam, he thought he could at least take a look and see if it could be fixed. Im a girl so Im not exactly sure what the exact repairs were, but he called and said he thought he could repair it for around $2500.00. Wrench Works completed the entire repair, replaced a ton of stuff and our total bill was $2215!!! The service was exceptional, the money spent was well worth it, and our son better be able to keep this truck running another 10 years!!! Well worth the money spent!!! Trust worthy and honest when it came to price of repairs. Highly recommend this business for vehicle repairs!!! SUPER HAPPY!!!

These guys are great at what they do while being kind & honest.

Had my 98 Forester in for the necessary timing belt/water pump change these cars need around every 100k miles. Had them do the head gaskets and machine the heads while in there. Runs great now!Cant thank them enough. Way less expensive than anyone else quoted in town, not to mention all the others said it would be a minimum of two weeks for what I wanted done. Wrench Works had the car back to me in about the time it would take them to do the timing belt alone.Thanks guys!

Sam & Wes actually know what they are talking about and have the best prices in town. This is the only shop that actually takes time to explain what is going on and exactly what is needed. When the engine on my Jeep blew I sorted through many insane quotes from local Missoula shops but there was only 1 I could trust for such a job Sam guided me through the difficult time with ease and broke down the cost bolt by bolt so I knew I was getting the deal I needed (he’s also a Jeep enthusiast)there is no one who could have done it better. It didn’t stop there Wes is a wizard with the cars and has always been there to go above and beyond when I needed help with my Miata even when I knew I was asking dumb questions or just needed a little help no task was too big or too small to ask these guys. They are your trusty neighborhood mechanic Missoula.

Nice guys, however I had to wait a week for a simple engine check. Charged me $150 to run a compression test. Still we’re not able to identify the problem with the engine.

Our brake line broke at almost 5pm as we were just passing through town. Luckily, we were just a couple of blocks away from wrench works. The guys put us right up, got us fixed and on our way. Good pricing, too. Great service!

I called made an appt and took it to them the night before left the key and parts ......was told when I made the appt that the repairs were to take 3 hours my appt was for 9am was told it would be done by lunch so I could pick it up.....when I hadnt heard anything by 1pm I called to find out progress they hadnt even looked at it yet and was told they were only going to diagnose it by 5pm .....i told them it was already diagnosed and that is why I left specific parts for them ....i was then told they wpuld have to reschedule fixing it .....for 2.5 weeks out ....knowing this was my only vehicle as I had mentioned when making the appt .....i called back after finding another shop and told them dont bother touching my car and took it elsewhere ....the new shop had it in and out in 2 hours for 100 less than they quoted and were happy to fix and guarantee it i would recommend shopping around before I took anything to wrench works no wonder why they advertise on Craigslist

Took my truck in to get help identifying a rattling noise they figured it out (wheel bearing) had them replace it along with a power steering hose that had been leaking, had it fixed in good time and running like a champ again!
