Great place full of talented people! there are individual studios which is great, in this building there are hairdressers, aestheticians, massage therapists, and even lip fillers and botox they have pretty much everything beauty related. overall the place is very upscale and clean, and there is plenty of handicapped parking available to!

Not happy! Quality of work and service was terrible! When I pay $200-300, I expect quality. You really need to know or research the stylist. Just because you are getting your hair done at a salon in Mill Creek, doesnt mean you are getting a high quality service! Dont be duped!

I HIGHLY recommend Christina Gardner at Sola Salons. I’m extremely picky with my hair, went through MANY stylists before Christina.I’ve been going to her for almost a Decade now!I will not let anyone touch my hair but her.I’ve lived in other states and will fly back just to have her do my hair. It takes a lot to be a good hair dresser, some just do it to do it. Christina is passionate and it shows in her work. Thank you Teena for doing such a great job on my hair.Went from black hair to a red head.I recommend her to any and all my friends and family.

I posted an honest 1-star review for Christina Gardner of my detailed negative experience (and poor work done, with pictures).Within 12 hours of posting my review, there have been some fake/false reviews for Christina to boost her ratings. They are false and it is Christina trying to fix her rating by telling her friends to go review her.Christina left bleach on my hair in random pieces, and some had bleach on them for over 2 hours. This is 100% over-processing, and my hair shows it. She brought heat to one side of the bleach to speed up the process, answered calls and texts within my appointment, did not have a clean or well-maintained salon, and brought my hair from brown to white with no blending, just straight lines. After toning, my hair was grey, purple, dark brown, and light brown. I asked for blonde, with no grey tones.I would not recommend her, and its sad there are people leaving fake reviews, within hours of my own review, for someone who actually caused damage to my hair. This is for honest reviews of real experiences, not for fake 5-star ratings for someone who gave a terrible experience.

What a rip, again. 2nd time figured maybe the first wast just a mishap, was a facial. Nope, $60 lash perm, she auto took a 20% tip. Did offer to give back after confrontation but just chalked it up as a Christmas present. Lash perm okay but not that good. Will not return.

I have been at Sola Millcreek for half of the year now doing lashes and MICROBLADING. I Love this environment. It’s very secure and clean. The people are nice and supportive. The owner is trying to accommodate you. Strongly recommend.

I have been going to Christina gardner to get my hair done for 5 years now and shes always done an amazing job ive been around many times while she work with other clients and they have always been satisfied with her work. in fact, I witness a lady break down and cry because of the transformation she gave her as she stated no one could really work with her hair the way she wanted it. her work speaks for itself. everyone reading this, I highly recommend her and will continue to see her

A friend recently recommended Christina Gardner and now I recommend her to everyone I know. I have been doing hair myself for over 10 years and she’s an amazing artist. I only do men’s cuts now and I go to Christina for all my hair cuts and colors. I had a bad balayage at another salon and I’ve spent money and hated all the work. Finding Christina was so great I loved my blonde hair after it had been yucky brown and orange trying to come back from my red hair.The woman I’ve recommended to her have come out with some damn good amazing hair so yes I highly recommend her!!!

I have been seeing Christina At Sola Salons since November 2018, and I highly recommend her to anyone for your color services. She is an artist. I have recommended personally to my friends and family. And some people see her regularly now as well. I had boxed died Burnett hair covering up box died purple hair and I am a platinum blonde today! She’s done my cuts, extensions and bleaching and I leave the happiest person everytime!

I do NOT recommend Christina Gardener with Sola Salons. This was one of the worst experiences at a salon that Ive had. Bear with me while I explain:Christina’s salon was NOT clean. There was hair everywhere, on the chair, on the floor, in and around the sink, etc.I came in asking for blonde, specifically said NOT grey, and for her to blend with my roots as well for my best friend’s wedding in 11 days. She said no problem, and we went to work. This appointment took 4 hours. She was stopping mid-bleach to answer calls, texts, water breaks, & I believe in total this extended my appointment for 1+ hour at least. She answered a call (her best friends mom???) and told her it was OK to come in for a bang trim while I was processing.This woman showed up and was there 1+ hour talking explicitly about her personal life and her son (f-bombs, sexual convo about her son & this 18 y/o girl he had an affair with in his marriage and now she’s pregnant, etc) for the ENTIRE time. Christina would stop to talk to her while working. When she was “done” with the bleach, she let me process for 45+ mins, cut the lady’s hair (& didn’t clean up the hair). Now we’re at 2+ hours of some of this bleach being on my hair. She then took a hair dryer to the second half of my head to “speed up the bleach process.”Christina back-combed my WHOLE head before each piece of bleach, it was a rat’s nest – she did not lift all of my color, nor evenly. She created straight bleach lines with every.single.piece. She pulled random pieces with zero structure, & didn’t blend. The bleach lines were straight along my scalp, and were uneven on each side. She then washed out my hair, nearing 3+ hours now. The bleach had stripped my hair, to the point of being white. My hair is naturally brown.She then toned the hair, no measuring, and left the toner on my hair for 6-8 minutes. As soon as I saw my wet hair in the mirror, I knew I made a mistake. My hair was a combo of brown, light brown, white, grey and purple. I hated it and it looked awful. I had been there for 4.5 hours now. I didn’t wash my hair the next day, & could see how terrible it was. I asked for a cool blended blonde and I got a monstrosity of colors and irrevocably damaged hair & made me look 15 years older than I am.I made an emergency consultation appt at a salon nearby recommended by a friend, they were able to see & comment about the pieces touched with the bleach (a little over half my hair) were stripped entirely of pigment &had been damaged past the point of repair. I had to get my hair fixed the following day. I spent close to $300 trying to fix, to blend in the straight areas, tone, strip the purple, and try to get a normal color. I now have to use specialized and expensive shampoo and conditioner to help my damaged hair, but the only other fix is time.DO. NOT. GO to Christina.I asked for my money back, showing pictures of the damage and the poor work. She insulted ME saying I was rude for insulting her work and asking for my money back. When I commented on the experience, unwelcome vulgar guest and all, she blamed me for not jiving with her “crowd.” She wouldn’t acknowledge anything. She said how dare I insult her “quality” work. She did not own up to any of this, and fought me on my money, only giving me half back, claiming because it took so long. It took 4 hours because of her breaks, her talking, her slow pace, etc. She told me via text the following:“I’m talented and will not allow you to argue with me.”“I did not damage your hair” (after sending her the pictures of the WHITE & PURPLE!)“It’s not over-processed. You won’t get 100% back, it’s not happening”“It’s nothing like you’re claiming it to be. It’s a really easy fix, whenever you went just wants more money.” (Again, after sending her pictures of her own work).She also told me that she wasnt used to someone not being happy with her work. I dont believe that for a second.This was the WORST salon experience and now I have to live with permanently damaged hair until it grows out or I chop it off. Do not go to her.

If you looking to lease Zac the owner is a man of his word, and if you looking for service there is great stylists there, highly recommended 👌

Go see Beth in Studio 8 of Sola Salons in Mill Creek for color! Hands down the most professional and experienced colorist there- plus her blow outs are top tier.
