Office Management was great friendly and very helpful.. They made me feel very welcome…
I recently moved in the apartment. It is better than what I had initially expected. The manager Sarah Rodriguez was also quick to respond on emails and made my move very smooth. My apartment had just minor issues which I talked to her and got it fixed within few days. I would recommend this place to live. It is affordable and nice.
I’m a first time renter so I didn’t quite know how apartments work! The staff explained everything to me and made it super simple to move in! They have pool, dog park, gym, and also Washateria‘s. Friendly knowledgeable staff
This apartment complex is fantastic! They fixed my minor issues within two days after moving in - window didnt close all the way & fridge leaked condenser water (happens, I had mine on max cold). Ive had no issues with neighbors & location is the best! Recommend 100% Aviare Place!
The pool was very nice, I loved it. The management was helpful with pool. 👍
There is no better property team than the one found at aviare . During the winter storm, they were precise and efficient when it came to helping the residents. When our pipes froze, the plumber was sent fast and his work was well done. I lost my keys a few days ago, and the office sent someone despite being closed. I was in, in less than 15 minutes. Every time I visit the office I am welcomed by nice people and warm smiles.
Staff, including maintenance is kind, helpful & on the property! Any issues I’ve had were dealt w/right away! Staff is aware of all going’s on w/property & residents & I appreciate it!! I feel a sense of community! I LOVE how pet friendly they are..w/numerous soft grass parks throughout & ALWAYS stocked waste bags at the waste stations!! Pool is WAY cool!! The laundromats have SODA machines LOL!👍Most units have washer & dryer hookups (another rare commodity!🥳)I LOVE that the proximity from your car to your front door is by far shorter than any other complex around!! (Trust me... I looked)😅U get key to your mailbox right away! You don’t have to go to the post office and pay additional $$ for it!!! I’m SO happy I was able to make Aviare Place Apts my new home! 🐶too! Only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is cuz they are a bit older & the floor above me creaks often & the thin walls to the outside noise. Thanks to the staff for going above & beyond for me!!! It IS truly appreciated!!
I’ve been living here for about 7 months now and honestly I’ve enjoyed every second of it. Very affordable with nice rooms, and friendly speedy staff to help with any needs. The maintenance team is always super fast and friendly if anything is wrong. 10/10 would recommend to live in the apartments.
Management Staff are very efficient and prompt with any concerns. They are all very kind, attentive and knowledgeable when need assistance. Maintenance is great at handling issues. The grounds are kept nice and clean. Aviare Place location is perfect for shopping or dining.
Ive been here for 7 months. I have had zero issues with my apartment. Ive had peace and quiet the whole time. My neighbors have been polite and communicative. The price for my apartment is low. Im debating getting a bigger one for my next lease. I highly recommend this place. Its close to all the places you want to go on loop 250. Its great so far. Dont listen to the haters!
The staff is very friendly and the maintenance men are on top of all our maintenance needs! Also the landscaping is always maintained. One thing I wish would be addressed more would be the laundry rooms. Such as keeping it clean and having better washers and dryers. Overall I’m very happy!
The lady’s in the office are very responsive to all your questions. They moved me in very quickly ..When I first moved in I did have a few things going on but they fixed it as soon as they could. They are on top of everything and try to get it done quick. I enjoy the neighborhood, the price is a bit pricy but other than that I enjoy my apartment complex and looking for a great year.
This property has an friendly and professional staff. With great units and amenities easily a 10/10 place to live!
I moved in here about a month and a half ago and it’s been great so far. The community is very peaceful, pets are welcomed and the people are very nice. will recommend definitely
I am very happy with the rental process. I was able to complete all required paperwork while out of state just using my phone. The office staff is very helpful and patient, which is a huge plus!!
Patty was very professional. Every question I had she knew the answer to. She knows her property very well. She is a very hard worker and does a great job. I will be recommending her to anyone looking for a place to live..
We recently moved in to Aviare Place and the process was amazing due to Patty, being an amazing property manager she was very detailed and very informative with all the information and application process. My family and I are so excited to be part of the Aviare Place community. Patty is a Awesome.
Sara was very attentive when I was looking for a new home and she was so detail with everything. Property is well maintained and service requests have always been fixed for me.
I love the ladies in the office! They are so helpful!I moved in last month and everything has been great.
I took a tour of Aviare Place and was THOROUGHLY impressed with how helpful Ms.Sarah was with me she was very informative before viewing the apartment. Location is prime and the space makes you feel like you are home. Welcoming and warm!
I love my apartment, my neighbors are so friendly and staff is kind and friendly when I call and request or ask a question. Truely the best place to live . Thank y’all for making me feel at home
I could complain about a number of things but overall Ive been pretty happy here. Until I got my renewal offer, my rent increase went from $900 to around $1,280! So I gave my notice to vacate. I went online today to see if my apartment showed available and sure enough it was. What is shocking is that they offer a lower price ($1,117) for a new tenant! They probably could have kept me had the increase not been so ridiculous. I have no complaints about the staff, I know they are limited to what they can fix as I used to work in the business. I will update my review once my move out is complete as I saw a number of people complain about unnecessary cleaning charges. I pride myself in being clean and I can assure you this apartment will be cleaner than when I moved in. Attached photo is the price for new tenants. Also took a picture of some discoloration, I honestly dont want to know whats on the other side!
Patricia made moving very easy for us from signing paper work to getting everything ready in the apartment. The staff was very professional and courteous to our needs. Thank you!!!
NANCY has been amazing !She got me & my husband a good deal on our apartment! Got us moved in quick, process wasn’t stressful at all .! She has been amazing ❤️
I have lived here for 3 years. I came home to a flooded apartment 2 weeks ago. Although I spent almost a week with dryers in my apartment, when they were removed my carpet was still very wet. They came in 2 days later to shampoo the carpets, just adding more moisture to the unit. My apartment, furniture, and clothes all reek of mildew and mold. The walls now have areas where they are bubbling from the moisture. I was never offered to move into a healthy unit, instead I was told that they were doing everything they were required to do. Of course, I did have to go in to talk to them because they never answer the phone, especially on weekends. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the maintenance men are extremely friendly and work hard to take good care of you. But they can only take care of the issues when the office staff relays the information to them. I cannot get out of here fast enough! If you are considering moving here, please take my advice and go somewhere else, it would save you a lot of stress and money!
Great apartment complex and location. The office staff is awesome and maintenance requests are always done in a timely manner and always to my satisfaction.
I have been here for 4 months I really like this place its safe, quite, maintenance team are good, management and office staff is very nice and professional, I highly recommend this community
The maintenance team is so quick to fix any issue in my unit and office ladies are so friendly.
I love the maintenance guys! They are so friendly and helpful.
The place has great management, whenever needed .
Great maintenance team and friendly office staff
Im so grateful for these reviews. I have tried contacting several times to find out info on any promos and availabilities with no response. I then look at the reviews and it all makes sense. This place is unreliable. Thank God for reviews. Ill continue my search elsewhere.
Back in September, I submitted my application for a 1 bed 1 bath apartment at this place. Paid $350 online in total. $150 is nonrefundable, $200 is security deposit. The income requirement is 3 times the monthly rent, which I’m over that limit, but my application got denied because my income amount is not sufficient. With no energy and time to deal with the nonsense, I switched to a different place and asked Aviarplace Apartments for my $200 security deposit back. They never mailed it to me or refund to my account. It has been over three weeks and I’m still waiting. I don’t know if the actual apartments are good, but I definitely know the management doesn’t care about it’s customers. This is a terrible experience. I will take necessary actions to protect my rights.
Wonderful place to live! Staff is always friendly and willing to help in any way possible. There are some wonderful amenities (on-site laundry, year-round pool, and even a dog park). Great location as well near all the mall and any other shops you could possibly need! Definitely will be renewing my lease!
The whole staff was cooperative and understanding when my A/C unit broke. Gave me a temporary unit till a new unit could be installed. In a reasonable time. Now Im cooling off in style. Thumbs up to Maintenance crew and office staff.
AVIARE STAFF is amazing and very helpful property manager is amazing and very professional she does an amazing job to explain and take care of move in process. Thank you very much. We are glad to be part of this amazing community..... Thank you
Great location, and great customer Services
I went in to get leasing information and the ladies in the office where very nice and friendly.
The office manager, Patty, is freakin awesome!!!
Aviare Place has been the best place I have ever lived. The office staff is so amazing, they are always friendly and try to help you in every way they can!!! Every time I go into the office the staff is eager and willing to help me without any hesitation, and they always have a smile on their face. The maintenance men are quick on work orders and I even get a follow up call after each one of them are done!!!! I would recommend Aviare Place to anyone who is looking for an apartment home.
Nancy was great. She worked fast to get me approved and took care of all my concerns with the apartment. Friendly staff and clean apartment. Than u Nancy!!!
Great location, Great Staff
Frankly i really wanted to like this place. It feels like Im living in the guetto. Loud music all day and night and management not doing anything. I had to call the police multiple times already but nothing stopped. I am seriously loosing my patience and starting to look into other options. I dont know why I wasted my hard earned money to live in an apartment where I cant even sleep because of the constant noise. It is so annoying
My roommate and I have been here for two months to the date. Where do I begin? Upon moving in and having the apartment deemed by management as move in ready, what a surprise when we found holes and an atrociously dirty apartment, which we asked them to fix and they did. HOWEVER, we also asked them to deep clean. Did they? Maybe. So then how did we end up finding our apartment littered with BEDBUGS upon moving in (crawling on our furniture, walls, LITTERED IN MASSIVE AMOUNTS IN THE BATHROOM CLOSET)? Its a mystery. While it only took the apartment three days to get an exterminator (which we had to have them COME BACK BECAUSE WE STILL HAD BEDBUGS TWO WEEKS LATER), its been a bad experience. Not to mention we also get the occasional roaches, have what appears to be black mold growing in the corner above our AC where we had water damage (and maintenance only painted over it - great job guys - Im putting a work order in for that today lets see how long it takes to get looked at), but we also have two work orders put in almost a month ago - one marked as an EMERGENCY due to flooding that occurs because when this place was built/REDONE, they somehow forgot to seal the front door (???) and water floods our living room when it rains, and another dealing with our dishwasher retaining water and being broken (which maintenance already look at and fixed when we put in the first work order). Dont forget about the barking dogs and piles of dog poop outside our front door because our neighbors are incompetent.Honestly, the only reason this place is getting one star at all is because Lisa in the front has been a saint and saved us from the water damage we also incurred from the neighbors washing machine upstairs breaking (as well as got the exterminator to come help us sleep at night). Bless you.And lastly, if you see a great review, be weary, because those people also work in the front office and theyll sell you on anything. We are counting down the days until we get to move out.Just do yourself a favor and dont move here.
Thank you !!!! Vincent is our Hero. our little Chihuahua Gracie got out of the apartment and was gone over 24 hours. The entire team was notified and even on a Sunday on his own, Vincent never stopped looking for her in fact he called Monday to say he was right behind her, I went to his location and retrieved out fur baby. She was blocks away and unharmed. I cannot say thank you enough.
This complex is way better than others. I turned in several maintenance tickets and all were completed in reasonable time. I still live here and enjoy it. Good neighbors. No noise complaints. I would recommend to anyone.
Great place to live and fantastic service
Horrible apartment, get a brand new one somewhere else for a few 100 more. Office staff very unprofessional and rude, takes forever to get anything fixed
They do not respect residential lease agreement at all, they went to My apartment without My permission and threw away stuffs, be careful with these people .
Overall my experience here at Avaire has been good, however it is better since Patty, the new property manager got here. Today I had water backing up in the kitchen and she had Vincent from maintenance help fix the problem. He was here right away and figured it out. He even showed us how to “troubleshoot” it in case it happens again. Thank you Vincent and Mrs. Luevano for your help. 5/5
There is mold growing through the walls and the air conditioner never works! Have called the office several times about these issues. I’m not sure if they need new maintenance people or what. I was told the mold was the paint chipping off the wall when you can clearly tell the difference between the two. Every single month they come out and put Freon in the air conditioner, obviously there is a leak some where. I called and put in a work order on Monday and some one finally came out on Friday to say they would be back on Saturday. Well what do you know he never showed, so I called the office again today Monday and still 4:17 pm and no one has shown up. It’s the middle of summer with no air. It’s 85 degrees in the apartment and no one cares to fix this! This is absolutely ridiculous!!!
The new property manager is amazing and helps out with anything you need.
Aviare Place looks great on the outside but in the end they are a HUGE RIPOFF!!Inside is shabby but covered with a fresh coat of paint which is supposed to make it better but doesnt. The inside is just a run down old apartment with old appliances and AC that work poorly. When I moved out I professionally steam cleaned the entire apartment and had it move in ready AND THEY STILL TOOK MOST OF MY DEPOSIT leaving me with $80 after doing MORE than they asked for. And on the move out walk through the office lady said EVERYTHING LOOKED REALLY GOOD!!!Liars and cheats and horrible customer service. Not to mention the office staff are all clueless and cant answer a single question. So glad to leave. Aviare is horrible. I would almost rather be homeless. I wish I had known before hand that they would rob me.
Conveniently located. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable Staff. Would recommend Aviare Place Apartments to anyone in search of an apartment in Midland, TX.
This complex is in great location and staff is great.
I love living here!
Been living at this place for a month now, and I absolutely hate it. I put in a work order for my ac, because it wasnt working. Pretty bad especially with this summer heat getting over 100 degrees now. Finally got some one I here a week ago to fix it, but he said it will only work on the top floor, or the bottom floor, not both. Next my internet only works about 1/3 of the day. Got my provider out here to see if he can find the issue. He said that the problem is within the apartment. This place is not worth $1300 a month. Put you money into something better.
Im appalled by the move out fees. Just found out its 85% of one months rent (typical reletting fee in all the apartments Ive lived at across Texas over the last 11 years, so this is fine) however, they add an ADDITIONAL FEE of one month of rent .. Thats just the fee, on top of the 60 day notice, which includes an additional two months of rent. Were talking $4000 to walk away from this lease. Absolutely insane, this is the first negative review Ive written about anything in my life.
If you work in the oil field and are in the field and busy like everyone else this is not the place to live. After 3 days you get charged 75.00 late fee and additional 10.00 a day after that. Its price gouging at its finest.
I do not recommend AVIARE PLACE for a few reasons:After living for two full 21 month contracts, I gave my notes 60 days in advance and waited for the inspection a week before I moved. No one ever came, I told the desk that I would leave and I needed the inspection but it was never done.I have now received a $ 1400 account to be paid for damages in the apartment. I left the apartment clean and did not cause any damage.I tried calling the desk and they never returned after promising me to check if there was a mistake. They never called me back even after the manager promised that she would verify herself. Now every day for more than 1 month I receive calls from a company responsible for collecting accounts and that has made it clear that I would report my credit.I decided to pay today, because I do not want to have problems with my credit score.Much irresponsibility and disrespect with the client or resident.
Great staff. friendly. management always goes above and beyond to assist.
We have lived at Aviare for close to 9 months, the staff has always been nice and helpful, and our work orders have always gotten done quickly. It has some flaws, as with any older apartment, but they have always done everything in their power to make it as pleasant as possible.
These people are crooks who will not only steal your money but give you bad quality service while managing to ruin your credit score.I would STRONGLY suggest not renting with them. From day one they were constantly rude to us. They are always finding ways to steal your money such as claiming that you have things out side and if you didnt put them away they would fine u $50 a week. And then on top of it they would never come and fix things wrong with your apartment. Such as leaky hoses and shower fittings.
SEWAGE BACKS UP & FLOODS IN THESE APTS!!! Several units including mine in same night according to maintenance - my next door neighbor said same thing happened to him the week before! Countless attempts were made to reach the 24hr emergency number, but kept getting fax machine squealing - after not getting anywhere, I put in an electronic emergency request on apt. portal (but who reads those at night?).Meanwhile I had ankle deep sewage in tub, running out of toilet base into vanity area and through the walls into laundry area & kitchen!!! At 9:00pm that night I was hustling to get all furnishings/rugs off floor & stacked high, then packed an overnight bag (all the while gagging from foul raw sewage odor) and luckily had somewhere else to stay & get ready for work the next day. After checking on my apt the next afternoon & seeing saturated towels and puddled water STILL in kitchen & bath (most sewage by this time had seeped into floor (eek!) due to lag in response time) I then stopped by office and spoke with Cindy, the manager. She was unapologetic to say she forgot to switch from fax to phone and seemingly unsympathetic to the situation overall. Shes fully equipped with excuses, but no accountability in making things right (thats what a good slumlord does, right?) Within 45 minutes of leaving her office, she called and asked me to meet her back at my apt. to do a walk through with her to make sure everything was Good and said that professionals had just been by and treated my apartment in less than an hour of me seeing it still in sewage - *I told her in my initial visit that sewage had gotten under my refrigerator, stove, washer/dryer and all these items would have to be pulled out and area/items sanitized in addition to my bathtub and floors!! No one will EVER make me believe this all transpired and got resolved in under an hour - it just added more insult. Also in my earlier visit I told her the apartment needed extensive, professional treatment to remediate contamination (It penetrated through walls, baseboards) and its not something to take lightly (EColi, Hepatitis A, and countless other illnesses) you can get very sick just breathing the air in an untreated dwelling. She got really rude and unprofessional when I told her it was not acceptable to my standards (or better yet that of the Health Dept.)Im fortunate that I have somewhere else I can stay for free until my lease runs out in 2 mths. Yes, it stinks (literally) that Im bound by a lease to pay for an uninhabitable unit. In perspective, the cost of rent is a minimal burden compared to the discomfort from illness/time off work/medical expenses/long term effects from sewage contamination. I feel badly for the other residents who had my experience and had to tough it out there. The office will never disclose units that have had incidents of back flow - just think about before you commit.
First off Midland is in a boom which means that there are way too many people and not enough places to life. With that being said everywhere in Midland is very expensive and hard to get into. If you have the choice I would not stay here. Any comparable apartment for the price is better. The pool is small and often unclean. the laundry room is very dirty and busy. When I moved in my dishwasher did not work and it took me complaining 4 times and over two weeks for someone to come check it out. The people in the office are friendly and the location is fine. BUT once again if you are moving to Midland you will probably not have a choice where you live. Buy a house if you can or get a double bedroom it cheaper.
Terrible customer service. While I lived there for 8 months they changed apartment managers 3 different times. The staff was friendly but not knowledgeable. Trying to pay my termination fee after giving them a months notice they misinformed me off my existing balances. I followed up after a month to verify that everything was satisfied and the representative said it was. 6 months later I get a bill stating that I had a remaining balance. I left 3 messages with no response and still have not resolved their issue.
The office ladies are so helpful and nice.
Great location and great office staff!!!
Living at Aviare Place was the worst rental experience I have ever had. When I moved to Midland in August of 2014 these apartments were the only ones available. My girlfriend and I ended up leasing another apartment 2 months before our 12 month lease was up because paying for 2 leases was better than living at Aviare.
We have lived here since 2017. It wasn’t the worst place to live and that’s why we constantly renewed our six month lease each time. Everything was always great until last year.In 2017 my bathroom and master bedroom has been flooded a couple times. Things happen and the maintenance people always showed up promptly and fixed it same day. In 11/2017 I got rid of our dog because I became pregnant so we let him move to a family memebers house and I told the leasing office that. They said okay we will let Maria (previous manager) know and she’ll take it off. She never did. I have not paid attention for a couple months and then I noticed I still pay pet rent. I called and tried to get ahold of Maria and she finally said okay I’ll take it off and credit you. Never happened. I have been calling for all of 2018 and they still charge me pet rent. Fast forward to 02/2019 and I still pay it because I don’t like to leave a balance. And the new lady in the office said I won’t get it for March but I’m still paying for February. Just unfair. As far as customer service, to me the office has never been rude. However, smiling in my face is not the only solution, I like results. So when you tell me things will get done I expect it to get done. Otherwise I’d go stay at a way cheaper apartment. As far as the buyout, it is as another tenant left. 60 Day notice, plus one months rent, plus 85%. So basically I get my house next week and I’ll be paying until May but what can you really do it was our decision to get a house at this time.In 2018 is when we started having issues with our apartment. Our AC broke while I was pregnant and leaked water in my dining room. Maintenance came that day and repaired a hose and changed the filter, added freon and it has worked since. Right before my due date my apartment had mice infestation. We had to set traps everywhere because we’d see it in plain sight. It took the apartment a while to come and offer to set traps. I still keep my recordings of all the leasing people saying there’s nothing they can do but set traps which we already did. After a couple months I brought my newborn home and I almost died seeing the mice in the trap bleeding. I called the apartments and same “We can call the people to set traps” but this time said they can come put poison in. I asked if they can cover the hole where they keep coming from and they said no (I have that recording) so I’m like whatever come do the poison because I am recovering from a C-section and I can’t do this anymore. Finally after the poison and us setting a million traps we stopped finding them. It was SO embarrassing when people came to visit my new baby and there mice traps everywhere. In addition to the mice problem, my master bedroom and bath got flooded when my son was one month old. It was an upstairs neighbor so it wasn’t Aviare’s fault Our bed and baby furniture got ruined. We were in the living room for a month. Our insurance said that the upstairs neighbor should have their insurance file the claim. So I called the office and they said they’ll reach out to the upstairs neighbor and get their info. I kept calling daily and they kept saying we haven’t heard from their insurance company yet. Finally we see the neighbors in passing who says there insurance company will get ahold of the office. Never happened it was a bunch of he said she said. So finally the upstairs neighbors filed the claim and their insurance took care of it. Meanwhile while in the living room, our newborn fell off the couch because we all had to sleep there and had to replace his crib thing and he had to go to the ER. Just a series of unfortunate events. The doctor was like why don’t you sleep on the floor? I’m like because we have rats running around still and that’s nasty!! Not to mention they just dried my carpet and cleaned it. I still walk in and smell the dirty carpets. They had to come and spray it due to smell. When I leave, I better not get a bill. That’s all I’m saying!!
Lived here then moved out. Checked it out again recently .There are better options. They wanted me to rent a unit with a broken oven but hey, the stove worked. Out dated and overpriced.
I still owe them money and i moved out in November 2017.. never got a single bill but they sent it to a collection agency. Really? This apartment is just money hungry and makes up the most ridiculous things. For the record, I paid them and later found out the people just never sent the checks in like they were supposed to. Bravo Aviare! Don’t live here.
This is by far the absolute worst place I have ever lived. Our a/c went out 6 times within a 9 month period. The staff is EXTREMELY rude and disorganized. They will give you hardly any notification when changing a policy. Anytime you have a problem instead of fixing the problem they will argue with you and then avoid the problem. Safe yourself the trouble and dont live there!!
I would not recommend this place to anyone its not even worth what your paying. Its a crappy apartment the sink is rusty the cabinets are not even right its just bad never again would I come back to this. Avoid this place!!!!
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!! Maintenance does not fix ANYTHING. An if they do its a piece of crap fix that doesnt even correct the concern. Cigarette smell comes in through the vents 24/7!!! I dont mind smokers (free will) but I dont smoke so I dont want to smell it in my apt my clothes smell like cigarettes an management could care less... HARD PASS and save your money
This place absolutely sucks.! The rent is outrageous.! Service sucks.! Ive put in 3 work orders to have the ac filter changed and still havent had it done. Just absolutely not worth the money.
Awesome maintenance !
DO NOT MOVE IN HERE. The staff if unorganized and rude, they have lost serveral documents of ours, maintenance is never done on time and the apartments are old, outdated and falling apart. Let me elaborate. Our A/C constantly broke when we moved in and then when it got cold, the heater broke and we would go days without an AC or heater. Recently, our AC started to leak on the ground, no biggie we called and put in a maintenance request, never heard anything from the office or maintenace. Today while im sleeping because i work night, i hear someone knock, i decided to ignore it thinking it was just solicitors. And then they start BANGING on my door, finally i talk to them through the window since my fiancee isnt home and i ask them to come back when he gets home and they said no because they didnt want to come back that late and the downstairs tennants were complaining about the leak. So why is it i put in a request weeks ago that gets ignored and the downstairs tennants complain and suddenly it HAS TO BE DONE RIGHT THIS SECOND. To sum it up, this place will take all of your money and give you a run down apartment with rude staff and constantly threaten to evict you for small stuff that your neighbors complain about. Dont waste your money or your time here.
Great Apartments!!!
This apartment complex is horrible! They are unprofessional and unethical. The grounds are dirty and they are disorganized. Rent here and youll regret it later.
Been at aviare place for 2 months no major problems staff could be a bit less cut throat but after the move in process you dont have to deal with them much maintenance men do a really good job sometimes the wait can be a couple of day but the complex is huge and theres only 4 and their shared by a sister complex other than that ive had no problems office staff is pretty much the only fixer upper
Sad! The place is very dumpy. One bedroom 600sq ft. 975.00 per month and includes nothing. You have to pay for trash, water and everything else. The counters are scratched, nicked and with paint on them. Stove is chipped, the refrigerator stinks, all the cabinets have paint on them from the wall paint. They are build very poorly and the drawers fall out and dont align well. The worse part, besides the smell is the black mold on the AC unit, behind the toilet and in the shower. Its a health hazard. These apts. are with the Weidner apt. group and they own several dozen complexes in the area. You would think with the extra money the would reinvest, but they just line there pockets. The pool is dirty with leaves coating the top, there is no grass or lawn, just dirt, dead trees around the place, the framing around the laundry facility is rotting along with the wood from several units. The front office is the only place that is updated...figures. If you can afford the newer complexes...do it!
Horrible experience living here. Outrageous rent for a crappy apt. Took 5 weeks to fix the broken hot water heater, and a week to fix the a/c unit (they didnt even step foot in the apt until the day it was fixed). Maintenance people are extremely rude and lazy. I wouldnt suggest this place to live to my worst enemy.
Im not sure I can convey how miserable this complex was. In the two years I lived there, they had four different managers, which is telling. They close out your maintenance requests with no action. My second floor apartment had bugs crawling up the pipes and into my kitchen and bathroom for months, in spite of numerous requests for treatment. At one point I had to remove every single item from my kitchen to have them treat for cockroaches and weeks later they were still there. I wish I could go back through my work orders to give specific examples of the amount of time it would take to get maintenance requests completed, including the multiple days I once went without AC during the summer. In the West Texas heat, this meant that I physically could not sleep in my apartment for several nights. For a while last year, my downstairs neighbor was constantly having leaks in his ceiling due to a problem with my bathtub. Apparently. However, this meant that they would wake me up in the middle of the night (this happened at least three times) in spite of the fact that I had not run my bath/shower anytime in the past 8+ hours. If this had been a one-time thing, I would have just dealt with it, but they did not fix the problem for weeks and never actually did anything when they woke me up and realized that no, I wasnt taking a 2 am soak in the tub. When they finally did replace my bathtub, they left my bathroom door unhinged and propped against my wall, wet towels on my bed, and a cup full of one workers dip spit. They didnt fix the door/clean up their personal mess for several more days; I had to walk into the office carrying that cup of spit before they finally did reattach my door. These kinds of things were the norm (truly) and because I was having frequent issues (presumably, although this may have been the case for many of the residents), they began to screen my calls. I know this because I could call multiple times in a row and get no response, and then have my boyfriend or mother call and get an immediate answer. This happened for months and at a certain point, it is not a coincidence. For the record, I am in no way an unkind or belligerent person. Although there were times my frustration showed up in my tone in spite of my best efforts, I did not yell or cuss or make threats. Im simply persistent (which is necessary when you have ants crawling on your ceiling or AC that hasnt worked in days), which clearly annoyed them. Furthermore, when the oil boom ended and prices went down ($400 per month lower than what I was paying), I decided to pay the $500 apartment change fee in order to lower my rent in the long term. First of all, I had to physically sit in the office for hours before the manager would speak with me; she kept putting it off as above her pay grade and told me shed contact the vice president and ask her. This was conveniently put off for the entire last week of the month so that I would be stuck with another month at full price. When I finally did get in contact with the vice president, she offered to lower my rent to the price the units were currently going for and divide the $500 among the six months over which I was signing the new lease. I thought it was a great deal until the six months elapsed and I needed to extend my lease. I no longer had access to the lower rent we had agreed upon; my rent simply became the lower rent + the change fee divided by six, which meant I was continuing to pay 83 bucks per month more than I should have been. On top of that, instead of honoring our original agreement, they actually tried to raise my rent. It was outrageous. It was my own fault for not getting those terms in writing, but I [naively] did not expect the vice president to deliberately con me out of money. The entire experience was madness. I cant express this strongly enough: live anywhere else.
The most awful place I have ever rented. You come to office to cmplain about broken ameneties like toilet not flashing,or dishwasher not woking nothins is adressed for days. Your upstairs neighbour parties till 4-5 a.m. you call their security officer nobody comes. The basic right of tenent for rest and peace in order to perform job safely are completely voilated. Never rent here!!!!!
Mold grows through the wall in bathroom. Waaaaay too expensive for what it is, nicer apartments can be found for less.
Friendly Staff
BUGS BUGS BUGS!!!!!! Woke up this morning to an apartment filled with bugs, so many that even after an hour of vacuuming them all up there are still more. Called the office and the staff is difficult and unhelpful cant get their person in till next week and will not reimburse me if I get one. On top of all that this place is outdated the door frames are crooked, appliances are out dated and nothing gets fixed here any sooner than a month. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!
Great office staff!
The management is terrible very disrespectful all they care bout is getting your money not worth the price at all. Especially if they stick you in the back units they dont even look like they are the same apartments. Wouldnt recommend to anyone
