This apartment is very spacious; I love having a huge bathroom and bedroom and so this was definitely a plus. The staff was also very hospitable. They were really helpful in providing additional information regarding the apartment and also provided excellent assistance with the application process. Hats off to Ms. Shanique! You were awesome!
When I first moved in I had some issues in the original unit. Thankfully, Sonia & Shanique, quickly fixed the issues & have always made it very clear that they will do anything in their power to make sure I’m comfortable!! I appreciate them so much & enjoy living here!
My experience has been much better since Olga the manger has been working here all the repair that has been requested has been done during this pandemia covid-19 she has work with me in so many different ways the apartment price has been reasonable i will recommend this place to anyone come and speak with Olga the manger she will have something to work out for you
This place is Sucks. We had to move on short notice and my husband didnt have time to really look so we got stuck here. My license plate on my car got stolen the second week of moving here.. the first night we moved in the electric didnt work so we had to sit in the dark. The rooms are good sizes and so is the living room and dining room. But every time it rains BOTH rooms flood by the window causing the carpet to get soaked. They say they will call the carpet people but half the dang time they dont show up so I end up using my carpet cleaner suction part to dry it up as much as I can. The patio floods every time it rains too. They have NO staff. One maintenance man. He is super sweet but way over worked which is sad. They have plenty of money to use on pest spray but nothing else to fix things. They spray at least every two weeks or so it seems. Which is great because we have no bugs but dang Ive never seen someone do it ever two weeks.. The pool isnt open which is sad because my 4 year old wants to go swimming all the time. Every time I ask when it will open all they do is give me excuses.. But I guess thats expected when you rent cheap in Midland. If you even want to call it that.. If you have other choices in apartments to rent I would definitely look into that. This place is pretty much a last resort kinda thing in my opinion.
This place is a slum. The management team is joke. They took almost 7 weeks to fix a leak from the upstairs apartment. I begged for them to let me out of the lease, and they wouldnt do it. They gave me equivalent of 1/2 a months rent credit. I had all my furniture pushed in half of the living room for almost 2 months, I was not able to have any company over because of it, UNSUPERVISED MAINTENANCE PEOPLE I CAUGHT STEALING ON CAMERA but 1/2 of one months rent should make it right? NOTHING WAS EVER FIXED CORRECTLY THE FIRST TIME. Everything that was broke took at least 3 tries to fix, even if you tell them exactly whats wrong. I EVEN HAD A DISTRICT MANAGER LIE TO ME AND SAID SHE WAS AT MY APARTMENT WHEN MY CAMERAS SAY OTHERWISE. The potholes all over the parking lot have all been there for years. They will try to pad you bill when you move out too. Theyll say you didnt have renters insurance, or you didnt pay some random months utilities when they are in fact part of the bill. I had automatic payments and except for letting them know just how incompetent their maintenance dept was, they never had a complaint or issue with me. Now they are sending me a bill full of fraudulent charges, including falsifying my move out date that I will sue for if the idiots for. Slum. Stay away. If you are going to live there, get some security cameras and keep your documents as this is the most dishonest company I have EVER done business with. Im a 43 year old veteran and this has been without a doubt the worst living experience of my life. BTW, Id ignore the positive posts as they give incentives if you write a positive post because thats the only way they can get anyone to say something good.
As First time renters we were nervous on renting, but have had amazing experience . With The Staff. With The apartment . everything! Thank You For Yalls Hard work!
If 0 stars was an option id give 0 stars. We have had no a.c. for a month and on top of this the most insane amount of dangerous maintenance issue. Are ceiling fell in the day we moved in are living room flooded 3 weeks after telling them we had a leak maintenance did nothing, and last but nit least we had a close call with faulty wiring (it almost caused a fire.)
I love the spacious living room area. Very safe neighborhood! Never had any maintenance problems, besides getting a text message letting us know to replace the air filter.
The apartment is very quiet. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The parking is a little small. Every one is very helpful and welcoming.
Great apartments. Especially maintenance. Never takes more than 2 days to fix stuff. No noise, no problems, friendly neighbors....
I had originally lived here about 2 years ago, the last company to own Polo were going to raise my rent $500 a month more than I was paying so I left.I came back after the management change. There is constant work going into the apartments, fresh painting, caulking, and lots of other things. Shanique was incredibly helpful finding me a good place to live and remembered me after just one visit. Had to get some maintenance(one of the maintenance guys is great/funny) from things early on but they were there the same day and replaced some electrical components early on. Pricing is affordable for what you get in Midland. I love that just about everything is digital, from paying rent, to controlling the AC. I dont think Ill need to, but Ill update this review if things change in a bad way!
Shanique - this one girl in the office was very welcoming and polite. She was very helpful and sold the property really well.
The lady in the Front Shanique is very helpful even thou she does not speak Spanish. Mike is The best maintenance and always fix my work orders
I think the comment by, Eric should probably get reported. I just saw some of these apartments today and this is the second apartment he has posted the same pictures about.Click his profile. Same pictures and complain, for different apartments, in different states...Not sure why he is doing that. But thought the community of people who are looking for apartments, like me, are aware of spamming profiles while trying to evaluate an apartment.
Room sizes and the Amenities are very good and big shout out to Shanique, she was very awesome. She explained everything to my wife and I and we were very pleased.
I had to care for my brother in the hospital because of the consistent migraines he was getting due to the disgusting smell that was in his apartment. I am convinced there is a dead body or dead animal in the selling. I can’t express to y’all how disgusting and ridiculous this place is. It’s gotten to the point where he has spent multiple nights at my house and spent over 3000 dollars on AirBnB. He is the sweetest, most patient guy. I hate to see him go through all of this. We’ve both came to the office on multiple occasions but yet nothing has been done. The apartment complex it self is absolutely disgusting. K he pays over 1100 every month, never been late on his rent or bills. I feel so hopeless for him.
This place is a complete mess. You will pay high dollar rent to live like you are in section 8 housing. They said they had a tennis/basketball court. This is not true. The pool was out of commission all summer so there was no pool. You will be charged for things that were damaged upon move in. On top of the rent, there are almost $200 worth of fees you will have to pay monthly. The apartments are outdated and falling apart. Save yourself the time and money and look for somewhere else worth the outrageous rent. Desiree is nice and does what she can, the problem is that most of this is out of her control.

IM GOING TO SAY I HAVE LIVED AT THESE APARTMENTS OVER 3YRS THE FIRST YR WAS GREAT I WANTED TO MOVE AND THEY HELPED ME MOVE TO ANOTHER UNIT NEVER GAVE ME TROUBLE ABOUT IT. THE OFFICE STAFF THAT WAS THERE THAT YR WAS GREAT2ND YR I WAS IN THE NEW UNIT LOVED THE SIZE OF IT BUT THEN HERE COMES THE RAIN FLOODED MY ROOM AND MY SONS ROOM. HALF OF WHICH WAS FLOODED MIND YOU WE have a 2yr old running around my concern was the mold I called about it nothing was done had blowers for a wk using my electric nothing was done about it the window leaking from both rooms always Im trying to get a contractor ummmm ok never offered to move me units never offered anything the apartment smelled like mildew had 2 leaks in the roof from the above unit the maintance guys are wonderful always tried to fix things but they can only do so much 3rd yr and alot has changed the office staff is awesome never have problems with them they have fixed the leaks in the windows updated so much in the apartment seem to be putting new appliances in the units along with the complex the price isnt bad at all alot has changed I would recommend this place ..has gotten alot better
This was by far the worst place I have ever rented. We moved out as the ceiling was falling down. During our year we went through 8 ac units,two melted fuse boxes, two fridgerators,3 microwaves, 2 ovens one which shorted out right before Thanksgiving(and took them 16 days to fix) so no oven during that time the only reason they fixed it was because I had to literally have a come apart in the office. All of these broken ac units caused our power bills to be $650 a month. We had our door replaced because it was rotten and water would rush in any time it would rain, which with the new door the issue still was not fixed. The pool was constantly broken and the sauna I never knew about... I won’t forget to mention the terrible order of the grounds. I’m assuming they weren’t paying for trash pick up regularly because at one point the trash was completely full with enough garbage scattered around to refil it a few times the bugs and vermin got so bad and it was all the dumpsters at the complex! We had one leaky water line that literally was leaking for months tons of water just kept spewing out. At one point a person pulled a knife on my husband and neighbor. We had to call the cops on him a few times. We went through two managers during our time here one of which who was doing drugs and embezzling. That same lady’s drug addict daughter in law was living on the premises burying her needles in the grass. The lack of professionalism at Polo Park was astonishing. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Not to mention they told us as at the leasing office that if we decided to renew our lease our rent would be going up literally $800 a month. So 2,000 dollars a month for a two bedroom apartment plus $650 in electricity a month.... (yeah right no way we would even renew in the first place)anyone considering renting from this apartment complex I highly recommend looking somewhere else for your own safety.
Be advised rent went up by $650 overnight. After my lease expired and I went month to month, rent immediately went up by $350 PLUS an additional $300 month-to-month fee. AND they want 60 days notice to vacate.
The management of this place sucks.. we moved here on may 1st to the apt 209 and by the end of June we start to have problem with the AC UNIT, they came here once and they couldnt fix it. Now more than 3 weeks later no one has come to check it again and I have been reported every other day for 3 weeks. So now my bill is going to be really high and the is really bad to sleep on this hot days without a good AC. As I show in the pic. The apartment has been door close the entire day in the temperature inside is still on 80 after 10pm. I wouldnt recommend this place at all. ( Price and apartments arent bad but the management need to take care of this kind of situation because this is not free. Im paying rent like everyone else)

Lived here 5 months and Desirae is always polite and friendly. I had to pay my rent late and she never talked down to me like others places, they dont always answer the phone but she always calls me back same day
Will never recommend anyone to rent here! They are super worthless and dont help with a thing. They are quick to call you if they need something but the moment you need something they will ignore you and put it off. Had a broken sink for 2 months, problems with best pet control (which I pay for) since Ive moved in, broken toilets, and their only concern is AC Units. The most worthless people work for them. Dont let the new management say they are any different because they are not! DONT RENT HERE!
Polo Park is a great place, i have had a great experience here, the interior of my apartment is nicer then most other Apartments i shopped, Desiree is very nice!
Apartments are a little dated but still nice. Mostly friendly neighborhood.The office staff is friendly but for me its like pulling teeth to get ahold of someone. I called three times today. Once at 10 am when they supposedly open. Once at 10:30 thinking thats more than enough time for them to get situated. And one last time around 2:30. No one answered at any time. I left a message and have not heard back from anyone. Its 6:15pm now. Its not just today either. This is a common thing. I work in Odessa and have had to race back to polo park to take care of something in the office only to find it was closed. At 4:30. Yet they claim their hours are 10am to 5:30. Ive waited around till 10am for them to open and no one showed up. It seems they make up their own hours. Or maybe theyre just really busy.Maintenance takes several requests just for someone to show up. It took me at least a month for them to replace my original toilet which wouldnt flush Anything. Yeah.Dead pine needles from two winters ago still litter the outside of the complex. I didnt notice how dirty it is outside until I got a dog and we went on walks. There are at least 8 pot holes in the back parking lot that have been there for at least a year now. They painted maybe a 1/4 of the buildings then stopped for some reason.Despite the evasive staff and the lack of yard care, I have enjoyed living here.
Love the office staff here. Tonya and her team are great! The great amenities this place offers is a huge plus!!
My dad had his pain pills stolen there yesterday, 08/18/2016 when he told the manager the manager said well I really dont know what to do about it. My dad has cancer and was at chemo yesterday. I think the people that work there should be screened more carefully than they are or at least know their job. Once my dad fell and hurt his neck and needed stitches and the manager was acting very angry and informed me that my dad needed to find a new place to live. My dads toilet overflowed, he told the manager and the manager informed him that was my dads problem and he needed to buy a plunger and take care of that himself. I also talked to a friend of mine and her friend did live there and someone kept stealing her clothes and the manager told her no one there would want her clothes. I wouldnt even give 1 star but you have to give at least 1. I really dont recommend this place to put someone you love.
I called to get info on availability and pet info. The office lady that answered the phone was a smart a**. If they treated people like that are calling in i can imagine how they treat their tenants. Thanks but NO THANKS.
Ive never experienced something as horrific as these apartment. I live in apartment 27*, there is this smell in my apartment that led me to be hospitalized. The smell is so unbearable to the point I had to be hospitalized. The management are NEVER in the office. Ive complained about this issue the day I moved into the apartment. I go to the office almost every day but they are NEVER there. They take over 3hr lunches & never answer the phone. Ive documented everything because I am taking them to court. Ive spent over 3000 dollars at Airbnb. 3 month later, the issue has not been fixed. The management pays everyone 25 doallras to leave good reviews on the apartment. So if you read anything thats positive about the apartment, its false advertising. Please, and I say again please dont make the same mistake as all of us here in POLO park. You much rather live in a homeless shelter then to come to these apartments. Everyone Ive talked to in these apartments have complained about multiple issues, the managements are horrible. Please save yourself the trouble.

On our lease it says water is included in rent and now we have a bill for water we have to pay and they barely fix the issues in the apartments even when you put in a work order! Don’t come here the owner and management is almost criminal!
This place is ridiculous! I would never, not even for a million dollars, offer good reviews for this place and its staffing. They are rude and hardly ever in the office. The grass areas are infested with bugs and I have never seen any kind of attempt to resolve that problem. As for the amenities this place offers. The pool is closed every other day because they dont put the proper chemicals in it to keep it clean and prevent people from getting sick. The tennis/basketball court is run down and broken, and the sauna hasnt worked the entire time weve been here, not like I would trust the cleanliness anyways. The apartments themselves are not half bad for around $700 but since they have price gouged to $1500 to any renewals it is completely unacceptable.

I live in these apartments for 3 years, a place with a lot of tranquility and comfortable, I cannot rate it with 5 stars since I have problems in the bathroom, they came a lot and they lie to me that they come another day and nothing like that I have been more than a month, another little thing no Recommend to anyone since they tell you that they are going to give you credit and nothing was first a month and I have already been 4 months, in the office the answer they give is none convincing.
I do not recommend living in this condominium, when you need help in the apartment they do not come quickly to fix anything, the manager Sonia Herrera refuses to speak Spanish with the residents when they need help !!
