I cannot say enough good things about this place. I’ve been going here for nearly 15 years and with good reason. Mitch and his brother are personable, professional and do a great Job, not to mention how fair the prices are. Brand new, clean shop where you feel welcomed every time you walk through the door.

I’ve now used all three barbers that work here and they all give me phenomenal haircuts. It’s exactly what I ask for, timely, accommodating, and professional. And very clean. I recommend this facility to anyone with hair.

First off, Mike cut my skin at the bottom of the back of my head and didn’t even tell me he did that and I had to have a friend say there was blood. Second, I told him to trim the top of my hair and gave him a reference photo which he did not follow. He chopped off a lot of hair, more than what a trim would be. He also had to have someone else come over and fix my hair because when he let me leave the first time, it was not properly done. He still made me pay for the haircut.

Was looking for a barber for a while and came across Mikes barber shop. I walked in there and they were very friendly and took care of my haircut. They also showed my how to schedule my next haircut to make it more convenient for both myself and them. I will also say that they have a lot of experience with different types of hair and you will not regret going over there. Will recommend them to everyone I know.

Mikes Barber shop is one of the last old-fashioned barber shops left. They take their time you can sit and have a laugh, they make you feel at home, very kid friendly as well. This is one of the only barber shops, who cuts all diversities hair

We WERE customers of this shop. My husband brings our son here. I happened to be in the area with him and he needed a haircut. I put his name on the walk-in list and he was second on the list.It was busy, totally understandable for a Saturday morning, but I felt that we wouldnt have to wait an unreasonable length of time. There were two barbers cutting hair and one person mostly sitting and talking and sometimes sweeping.However, after 50 minutes, one of the barbers announced that the walk-ins would be cut by the person who I had only seen sweeping the entire time wed been there. I thought maybe he didnt start working until a certain time... But we waited another 10 minutes and he swept a bit, took off his jacket, and sat back down and started talking again. It didnt look like he was going in a hurry to start cutting hair.It was apparent to me that my time was not important to this establishment. We will not be returning.

My first visit, here, and to be served by none other than Mike, himself, a real treat. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the conversation is clean and entertaining. I recommend this place without any reservation. Prices are more than reasonable, and the service is outstanding. Great bunch of people all around. (Note to drivers: youll miss finding this joint if viewing from Main St. You need to go park behind the row of stores and youll see Mikes in the NW corner, close to the Main St. side.)

Pleased with the whole experience! Barbers were kind and engaging. The location and the conversation were clean, unlike many barber shops.They got my line right! If you know what I mean...enough said.Also, unlike many other places, in my short time there, I quickly noticed a diversity of customers. Most places wont do black and white hair; they do.This is my new spot. Ill be looking to see if theyll do a black girls hair next, since this is what they advertise. Mikes barber shop is a not only a place to go for a haircut, but you can also receive good humor, honest and good conversation, and a word from the Lord.Pastor Mike as I with all respect call him, did something so powerful for me in my life, that I will never forget it.When I was going through my battle with lung cancer, and chemo therapy, and out of work due to the illness, he allowed me to come into his barber shop every week and receive a haircut without ever charging me one cent.And he told me to come in until I was able to get back on my feet, and there was nor has then ever been a requirement to pay him for haircuts.I would recommend anyone to this barbershop, his sons are also gentlemen, they are respectful, fun loving, God fearing young men, and they are the finest example of a father and sons business that I have encountered.May God continue to richly blessed their lives and their business.Elder Charles Mitchell

Get a good haircut from there every time

Its hard trusting a new barber when you move to a new city. I just relocated to Middletown from Chicago and went into Mikes. They gave me a fresh cut and I will be coming here from now on.

Family Business, always polite and proper, no cussing allowed, a good place to bring your kids. Stand up guys all around, would recommend to anyone.

Call ahead say open. Pay $10 On uber right, im there 10 minutes after and now closed at 615 when open til 7. Have someone answer phone that knows whats going on
