We were a little skeptical as the rental office was not in the main car rental area, but the price was much more reasonable so we didn’t mind the little extra effort to get there. Rental process was very and the car was fresh and clean. Check-in and out process was simple and we were on our way. Our driver William was great. Drove very carefully to make sure we arrived safely and on time. Thank you for outstanding service!

Stay away. I booked a car online and when I got there I had to wait outside in the heat. They told us to have our insurance declaration page ready (did not know before) and that if anyone rented a compact or midsize car then they would have to wait a while because they didn’t have any. There were 5 people in line in front of me. After 33 minutes, they finally finished with one person and there were 4 in front of me. I walked across the street to Fox rental car and had a car in 10 minutes.

I went to visit a friend in Miami. Making a decision regarding a good rental was not an easy task, the prices are crazy and most of them had hidden fees. Someone recommended Next Car Miami and it was an excellent choice. This company has a elevated customer service, the vehicle was very clean, the representatives in the office were really friendly.At the moment of returning the vehicle the process was fast and easy. I highly recommend this rental place if you are looking for a good service and reasonable prices.
Rented a car on Hopper that was supposed to be $68 it ended up being around $200(with an additional $250 deposit). My total turned out to be $433 for my rental. The process was difficult and the car was DISGUSTING. If you’re looking to rent a car, I would definitely try somewhere else. I also had to contact them via email to receive my deposit back because they never gave it back to me.
So, booked a car rental online. Gave me a price that was amazing! After getting your confirmation email and voucher I suggest you open and read carefully!! $1,500 deposit is required.. after seeing that I wanted to cancel and get a refund…. Hope you enjoy being on hold for 45mins to an Hour. After on hold I got to speak with Ana, who informed me that because I was picking it up tonight I will get no refund for the cancellation. I explained I did not see the $1,500 deposit before hand. Unfortunately there was nothing she could of done. 2 hours and $141 later I canceled the car rental.To be honest I feel scammed. Hopefully this review will help the next person before they get robbed of there money.
Thanks to Jorge he made my experience enjoyable. When I arrived in Miami things weren’t going so well for me. I booked a car through another car rental (Fox) but unfortunately I was told something different and quoted a higher price. The representative told me I can try next door so that’s where I went. When I walked in to Nextcar Jorge called me to the counter. He saw that I was very frustrated when I walked in but he put my mind at ease for my hubby and I. Jorge also worked out some awesome prices too! If anyone needs a car with a good deal and friendly staff go to Nextcar and ask for Jorge!

This has been the worse customer service experience I have ever had in my life. I arrived after 5pm and didn’t get in my vehicle until closer to 7pm. I was told the system was going slow but after reading other people’s comments it seems to be the norm. I wish I could say that this was the reason Next Car earned one star but it was not. I booked my vehicle on Travelocity and at the bottom were all the fine print that were specific to this company. Well so I thought! My booking clearly specify unlimited mileage. However, I was told that for 5 days I would have a limit of 200 miles and that if I wanted unlimited miles I’d have to pay an additional fee. The manager did absolutely nothing to honor what my reservation said. I was told I should have gone to their website and read up on their policy. To make matters, when the rental agent told the manager that I planned on calling corporate and writing a review, he shrugged his shoulders. I blame myself for not reading the comments before booking. I would never recommend anyone to use this company.
This place is terrible. I booked through Expedia when I showed up to pick up my rental, they wouldnt rent to me because I am a Florida resident without my own car insurance (if I had a car with insurance why would I be renting a car?). I had to leave to rent a car somewhere else. I later found that they had charged me $50+ and when I contacted Expedia to request a full refund the company did not answer the phone. I called several times myself, and the call would drop. When a human finally answered the guy basically said it was my fault that I didnt know this about their company, that it was a non-refundable reservation, and that I should learn to read and better luck next time. AS A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER AND A MARKETER I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW THIS COMPANY EXPECTS TO TREAT THEIR CUSTOMER LIKE THIS AND STILL BE IN BUSINESS. I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM. THIS COMPANY IS OPERATING IN SOME SORT OF FRAUDULENT MISCHIEVOUS BEHAVIOR AND NEITHER THEY NOR EXPEDIA WILL PROVIDE A RESOLUTION OR GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Stay away from this horrible customer service place. I dont know how they are still in business.

I had rented a car through car rentals.com and the website chose the wrong dates for me to pick up. The agent change things around but require me to pay another booking fee and pay again for me to be able to get the car that I reserve. I just spoke to the store manager again about the money that is owed to me. I was owed $18.67 when I dropped the car off and $129 for the other booking that ANA said was canceled and still no refund. I was on the phone speaking to him about the charges and he put me on hold for about 20 minutes. I could here all the conversation in the background about calling me uneducated and saying that it’s only $140. He proceeds to get back on the phone with me to argue about the bill saying they made a mistake during my booking which is false because it clearly says on the paper when you return it what I was being charged for. Which was for 3 days. He kept saying that there is nothing he can do for me when I ask to speak to another manager or Ana who made the reservation he hangs up the phone in my face. I called back and he keeps hanging up the phone. I’m going to report these scammers to the BBB. YOU shouldn’t treat veterans like this or anyone in general. Please do. It visit this location in Miami. They will rip you off and expect that you won’t follow up on it. I will be doing a Google review to make sure no one comes here again.

When renting from this company, please expect extra fees on top of your reservation. There is $11/day Sunpass fee and $5/day charge for insurance (mandatory, even if you use your own company). One positive thing is that the car we received I enjoyed a lot, it was Toyota with self driving tech, which was amazing on a long drive to the keys.
Waited over an hour for our car in the sun. They tried to give us a compact car instead of mid size what we paid for. A lady gave us attitude when we pointed out the expired tags of the new car they were about to give us. She said talk to the manager instead of trying to help us. If I could give negative stars I totally would.

Car was given to me 3/8 full of gas, which I didn’t notice till I was in South Beach and it was flashing empty. Original price was $23/day, but in the end it turned out to be $93/day. They don’t take AAA insurance, and will make you buy theirs, regardless of the minimum insurance option you booked online. Good luck trying to return a car with exactly 3/8 of a tank… I paid for the last person’s gas apparently. I would go with a name brand rental with up front pricing. One star for the front desk guy, who was nice.

I am local resident in Floridad, because my car breakdown I have to rent a car in the last minute, when I was coming to the the country I booked online I thought It was a great deal. nice Surprise When I arrived to Miami and I was trying to get the car I started finding out that they changing all the conditions when you’re picking up the car. They give me three different invoices when I start refusing, trying to get what I paid for already and after almost two hours waiting, I requested a refund because it doesn’t make sense what they do to the people hiding fees and extra charging saying the have different agreements. Fist and last chance to rent a car in this company. Be away from this company.

Would not recommend. They gave us the wrong car with EXPIRED PLATES. 3 star because the guys were very nice and the return was super fast and it was easy to get on the shuttle. Do yourself a favor and rent a car at the airport and bring your proof of insucrance.

This place has horrible customer service. I had a reservation made, our flight was delayed which caused us to be delayed picking up the rental. Because I didn’t show up at time of pick up, the reservation was cancelled. I waited in 100 degree weather for 3 hours in line for them to tell me I wasn’t getting a car and that they didn’t have another for me. I would not recommend this place. So unprofessional. Bad business when they can’t even work with you. I spoke with the manager and his response to a delayed flight was “that’s not our problem”.
Worst car rental experience ever. Had a customer service agent change my reservation from miami to fort lauderdale. Agent reserved time after they were closed. Called to confirm reservation and they said they would not be open and offered no refund. Stay away.

First, please take pictures of your rental. They attempted to charge me for damage to what was already there. Thankfully, I took pictures. After almost making me miss my flight because they wouldnt believe my time-stamped pictures of the vehicle, they realized they were wrong. They were adamant I had done something to the vehicle and were using delay tactics to make me just pay 250 dollars for the damage I knew was there when I got there. I found this place searching on the price line for a single shuttle rental car company. Its not a single shuttle. So you have to ride two shuttles to get to them. Also, the price of the vehicle doubled because of several fees. One fee was because I didnt have 100k in insurance. So they charged me partially. Although I have a credit card still had a deposit. As soon as you walk in the search for everything they can charge you for. Terrible company. I never heard of them and will never use them again. The car was too damaged to be renting to anyone anyway. The bumper was protruding from the vehicle was the first issue. I have pictures in case they get on here lying because they know they are terrible.

This was the worst place i have ever rented a car from when i arrived to the pick up spot at the air port there were a few other people there waiting to be picked up we ended up waiting 2 in a half hour before they should up and when you call the number someone picks up the phone and hangs up on you then when we got to next car have to wait another hour before we even got the car then because they were late picking us up they canceled my car rental and had to pay a fee for that. then the worker tried to tell me and the other guest that there was no way we waited that long. i was off the plane at 6;15 and did not get the car tell after 9;30p.m this is the worst place you could ever go
If I could give them 0 star I would. This company charged exponential fees causing the vehicle price to be doubled. There was a 2 hour processing time from arriving to the location and obtaining the rental. There is a no refund policy if you return the vehicle earlier (which I did), and they charged $7 daily for declining their insurance after scrutinizing you insurance in hopes that it is inadmissible. At an average of $58/ daily charge, there is a 50 mile daily limit.Priceline needs to ensure they place these valuable information to unsuspecting customer. I could have rented with a reputable company for a lesser cost and higher quality service!

I will never rent here again. My rental price was originally $54 I ended up paying $142. With fees. They don’t allow you to use your own insurance they put $1000 hold on card and still charge you $45 a day insurance and $11a day for tolls. The shuttle to the airport was late. I was told to I could return the car early but the man in the gate would not allow it and claims he spoke no English. Very frustrated standing out here about to miss my flight and watching so great service and several shuttles from Fox car rental across the street.
If I could choose less than 1 star, I would. There are so many weird charges that are not explained in an itemized way. No upfront pricing. No explanations about charges at all. The attitude is very scare tactic when it comes to upselling things like insurance and tolls. When I was there, there were three other customers there who were unhappy about the miscellaneous and deceptive charges. Save yourself some time and energy, and go with a reputable company that is located in the actual airport. This is off-site and you have to take a shuttle to the rental location.

If I could give minus stars I would. I arrived late to my reservation and still has to wait over an hour for the car I reserved. They claimed there was expert cleaning and sanitizing but my vehicle arrived with what looked like food stains. The shuttle is very slow and takes anywhere from 30-45 mins to arrive. The car was fine. The customer service and location are both terrible.
We had a bad experience with them.We made a reservation on August 16, 2021 for getting a car on the 20th. After doing the reservation, we read the bad reviews on here and decided to cancel the reservation and go with a trusted brand. We called about 15 minutes after the reservation was done and asked for a cancellation, they agreed and mentioned that a refund was going to be issued. After 3 days, we hadnt received the refund so we called again and the agent said that we hadnt place the cancellation, so we told her again that we wanted to cancel it and get a refund and she was very kind and said that we should expect it soon, with an email confirmation.We didnt get the email confirmation so I called the next day, hours before we were supposed to get the car and told them what happened and they claimed they had no refund policy if the reservation was done online, through kayak. I checked on kayak, tried to do a new reservation with nextcar and actually read the terms and conditions and they do have a policy for refunds. The policy claims that the cancellation of the reservation has to be done at least 48 hours before the day you are picking up your car. I called them and explained this to them, and they claimed that they never got any cancellations from us. That we never called them to cancel the reservation so the 48 hours didnt apply so they couldnt issue a refund.I explained that I had the phone call history and that the calls lasted over 3 minutes and that the agents had agreed on the cancellation. They claimed it wasnt true and never returned the money.Their goal from the beginning is likely to rip off customers and they do anything at their disposal to achieve this.I had a terrible experience with them and will not recommend it to anyone.

This car service is a rip off, they told us when we got there we only get 50 miles a day they said we we’re locals since we were from Florida even though we was 675 miles from home actually further then someone that’s from Atlanta. If we went over that it would be 75 cents a mile which is ridiculous. So beware when renting from a off brand company because you will regret it later. I gave one star because Google don’t allow no stars.They also didn’t except our insurance so we was forced to buy there Insurence. I ended up paying twice as much then one of the major rental companies.

Beware of scams: As you can see from the other reviews, the level of service is nonexistent, but thats not the biggest problem! These guys try to scam you in at least 2 different ways, so you think youre saving money when you book, but you end up paying A LOT more than at a regular rental company.Description of the scams:1 - They charge a deposit in the amount of your insurance deductible ($500-$1000 for most of us). Then, they give you a car, but if you want to take note of any damage, you have to wait an additional 30min-1hr (thats in addition to the 2-hours that youve been waiting for your car to begin with) to get someone to take the notes. EVEN IF YOU DO THAT, make sure that all the buttons on the key work! I found that the trunk key doesnt pop open the trunk, and when I asked them to take note of that, they refused! They were trying to charge me for the broken key, hoping that the average renter would not find this small issue. The key is ~$500.2 - This is a common one in Florida, even some of the bigger companies do this. They say that if you get on a highway in Florida, you will be charged a toll fee. THAT IS A LIE. There is like 1 road in all of southern Florida that this applies to, and your phone navigator does a great job of avoiding it, if needed. I-95 and all other interstate highways in are free, just like any other city/state. Dont pay these guys. You can always pay cash, or even mail in your toll amount if you dont pay these guys.And, yes, the service is one of the worst I have ever experienced as compared to any other company in US or worldwide. Their service is comparable to the level of service you get in the healthcare and airline industries in the United States.Overall, AVOID IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. You save a penny, but you can lose A LOT MORE.

Nightmarish. The location is not at the airport. Once you trek all the way over to the car rental center, you then need to wait outside for a shuttle to bring you totheir office.Then you wait outside in the heat with only one person allowed inside at a time. We waited a scalding hour just to get in. They gave us a nice car, though.

Arrived at MIA, and called to be picked up, waited at correct spot, and it took them over 30 minutes to get someone to pick us up, while other companies were picking up people 3 and 4 times over. Arrived at a shack of a building, with a covered outdoor lobby. roughly 20+ other travelers just sitting and waiting. my group was about 8 who came off the bus with me. there was no one to greet us, provide a ticket or number to be placed in line, nothing. i went inside to the check in area to see what the process was, they yelled at me for going inside, then a lady came out to help. I asked, how do we know who is last in line, she replied, you just ask the person who was next in line said shes been waiting over an hour for her reservation. I told the lady to cancel my reservation and she told me to i had to wait to check in to do that. I declined and left the location and called an Uber. Do yourself a favor and rent from a reputable company.

So unprofessional. I had a reservation, my flight got delayed so I called and asked if my reservation would still be okay tomorrow since I got in town so late. They said yes thats fine! Come to find out they canceled my reservation. They didnt care that one of THEIR EMPLOYEES said it was fine. Wouldnt even refund me the 50 dollars for the insurance. I waited an hour in the heat too before they told me. DO NOT RENT HERE. I wasted one of my vacation days on their terrible little company.
If there was the possibility of qualifying with -5 stars I would certainly do it. Made the reservation through Priceline for the price of $ 156.26, rent for one week at the time of picking up the car SURPRISE: I CANNOT USE my own insurance, additional cost of $ 88.00. For being a Florida resident NO UNLIMITED MILES, only 50 miles per day. I CANNOT use my own SUNPASS, if I do, charge penalties. Plus a list of extra charges. FINAL PRICE $ 235.52 + $ 88.00 ALLIANZ INSURANCE. And approximately 40 minutes at the counter between messages and confusing explanations to process the reservation. This is not the end, I decide to extend the rent for two days ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF $ 150.00. Obviously return the car on a pre-established date and time. Undoubtedly the WORST CAR RENTAL COMPANY

They wanted me to get the insurance for a price that almost doubled the price of the rental car that I payed trough their website, although under the conditions that I rented it cleared said that it was optional….. they didn’t care, for them it was mandatory in the state of FL. After arguing with them for a long time they kept changing the conditions first they said that I would have to call a number to cancel if I didn’t accept their conditions when they got tired of me they told me that I could cancel right there, they kept changing the price of the daily insurance rate to see if I would accept it. I ended up canceling because I couldn’t stand the rip-off, most of the people getting a car there we’re having the same kind of problems, I felt sorry for the people working there. In the meantime I searched for another rental and found one on enterprise for almost the same price and got it, the only problem was that I had to take an Uber back to the rental car center but…. What a difference, magically on this company wasn’t mandatory insurance in the state of fl.
Worst place ever. The counter person is rude and unprofessional. There hidden fees are high. I was supposed to get unlimited mileage and the man insisted it was 50 miles per day. To add insult to injury, they tried to rent me a car with two hub caps missing. If I am paying there high prices with 50 miles a day, I want a decent looking car. I got a nicer car however, they a terrible business and worst of all bad staff.

This was by far THE WORST car rental experience I’ve ever had! You’re being robbed directly to your face. I would have given them 0 stars if possible. The insurance is fraudulent, the workers are rude, and the overall customer service was trash!! Myself and every other renter in the building were all experiencing the same thing. Be ready for one hour to two hours to be attended, then another 45 minutes to wait for your car be cleaned. They rent car that they don’t have so you have to wait for cars that are not even in inventory. No debit cards are accepted and they asked for your insurance. When you drop your car be ready for another hour wait to drop you at the airport!!! Worst services 🙄

They were very kind, cordial and well informed.Your vehicle was very clean, pleasant and only had 9500 miles, which is lower than those offered by other companies.The only negative about this rental company is that unlike most others, they would not allow me to use my own Sunpass.They only offered me to purchase theirs if needed at a cost of $15 per day. That was very unfortunate. I own my own Sunpass and should not be subjected to this treatment.For this reason, next time I will try to use another rental company.

Unfortunately the bad reviews are accurate. I was lead to believe I was getting a deal but there’s a $11 daily toll charge and an additional $18+ daily charge for using your debit card because they couldn’t take my American Express. This was after waiting 50 minutes get inside amd speak to the very relaxed staff. They need more staff, a smoother line process (like take a number), and better clarification upfront on the website when booking.

Booked through Expedia. As you can see on the attached Expedia receipt, it said I owed $62.92. After about 90 minutes waiting for our car, we were charged $138, plus $200 security deposit. It’s been a month, and we still cannot get the security deposit back.
DON’T RENT FROM HERE!!! Renting from this place was literally the worst, most stressful part of our trip. Every review that detailed a horrible experience with this company is completely true. This operation is a scam. We found them through Expedia. We paid what was requested at Expedia and had a small remaining balance to be paid at the location when the car was picked up. After they lied and scammed we ended up paying double our remaining balance. We paid for the daily insurance offered through Expedia, but were. told when we got there that that wasn’t sufficient and couldn’t be used. They said that we would need to get insurance through them or use our own personal insurance. What they didn’t tell us, until we saw our receipt and asked, was that they charged us a daily fee for using our own insurance! So we paid for insurance twice either way. The desk agent added and charged us for an additional driver when we told her repeatedly that there was only one driver.They talk a lot as a way to slide in and add a lot of hidden charges. You end up being there an hour or more. Every single customer that was present when we were, was literally complaining about the same issues. We should have read the reviews and stayed away from here.
I booked through Expedia I was given one rate and called to make sure they take debit card and got the insurance through Expedia. I got to go cart rental place they charged me extra to use my debit card, the car they told me I was getting was a premium car even though the reservation said a Jeep Commander, they gave me a Nissan kick which is way way smaller. When I asked about this and even told them it was smaller they say no its not then said if I wanted a Jeep I would have to pay more for the reservation and security deposit. They even tried to charge me extra for insurance if I didnt have personal car insurance, now Im waiting to see if they try and make a claim on my personal insurance for damages already on the car they loaned me, or try and say the smoke film was mine when I was clearly already there. When I checked the car in and brought to their attention instead of holding the security deposit they charged me they said itll go back on my card in 5-7 days......smh Hernando was a great help even though there is a language barrier.
I canceled my car after paying in advance and they still kept the entire rental payment & i didnt even see a car. services were horrible. i say rip off
Arrived at 8:54 p.m on July 21,2021. Waited in line as expected but with only two people in front waited for over an hour. Finally got checked out after a 300 dollar upcharge. ( 200 ) deposit, 11 dollar a day extra charge, another 50 dollar up charge. After checking out, another woman was in front. She got her vehicle before I did even though I checked out first and we had the same car. Was told it was because we’re out of state. Slowest and rudest staff. DO NOT GO!
I tried to save money. Total disaster. They charged us $188 in added fees. Total of $489.95 for four days.It’s a scam. If you choose this place be prepared to pay added fees on top of your quote. Furthermore, you do not have the car at airport. You have to take the Mia Mover and then get on the shuttle.The shuttle took 25 minutes. And upon arrival at the rental place, they took two hours And there were only four people ahead of us. After all that we just wanted to get to our hotel so we decided to pay.I recommend to look for the rental companies that are on site at the airport.
Guys please believe the reviews! Do not rent here! Not only do you get charged for a bunch of fees that are t disclosed at booking, they forge signatures! When I went to the counter to pick up the car, they asked me to sign to two places on one page. In the attached, you’ll see a 2nd page where they copied down my signature all the way down the page. With these signatures, their authorized to charge other charges for collision and liability insurance, charges for tolls (which I paid for the daily toll service) and other misc. charges. I already reported them to the BBB and Attorney Generals office.
This company is a scam please pay attention to the review . They take 40-50 min to answer the phone . And they unprofessional they started talking about me in Spanish and looking at each other I pay online with a debit card but when I get to the rental location they say no debit card and they ask for 300 dollars deposit on credit and to make the rest in credit!!! The men that was helping me told me I only get 5 miles free in a day after I will pay additional for miles !!! Plus I would daily rate . I don’t know who’s runner this company but it’s a scammm scammmm don’t rent from them
This company deserves 0 stars. The hidden fees they add on at the time of picking up the car are ridiculous and they cost you more than the actual rental cost. The staff including the manager are rude and couldn’t explain the additional charges. This business lack basic customer service and transparency. There are 3 other customers complaining about similar charges on their reservation and one even canceled Companies like Kayak and Expedia should delist these guys from showing up on their website. I am sure these guys will be out of business if they don’t stop scamming customers with these hidden additional charges.
Read the reviews. If you try to save money by booking through them youre not. They hit me with random fees that didnt even make sense. We waited an hour and a half out in the heat to get in and then we had to wait for them to find us a car, clean it, and then let us have it. Trust me when I say youre not saving money. They are also not at the airport and the shuttle service brings you back to the car rental terminal not the departures. An extra 30 minutes of walking for their convenience.
If you dont have a credit card and only a debit, you will get charged 15 dollars extra for every single day until you return the car. Not everyone can have a credit card. Very dissapointed never again!
If I could give 0 stars I would. I’ve never had such a horrible experience from start to finish. It took numerous calls and over an hour to figure out there is no signage at airport for this place. Not one single sign. I thought I might of been at wrong place. Getting to the rental place was even worse. Pulling up I realized why this place got 1 star. We have been waiting over an hour in rain with my family of 7 waiting for them to pull it up. Also the fees I was forced into were over $100. We were better off getting the rental from the airport where the fees shown are actually what you’re charged.by the way I have my own insurance that I provided and they charged me $30 to use my own. What’s the point. I’ve never had this experience ever anywhere.
Unfortunately, our flight was extremely delayed and we skipped the original pickup day. To our surprise, they would not be able to credit us for the missed day; However, The gentleman was very precise and informative at the counter and was able to get us a discount on adding a second driver.
I was very satisfied with the attention received at the counter, they were very friendly and knowledgeable about their work, they guided me and helped me at all times. Thank you for your professional attention.
Staff was friendly. Car return was expeditious. Appreciated Eddie calling the van back after we just missed it. There was a $13 booking fee and $16.99 fee for auto insurance. Everyone checking in was shocked. They would not waive without a declaration page showing the amount of coverage. None of us could produce this on a Sunday. Explanation was that all rental car companies in Florida did this, which we dont believe to be true. We rent cars all the time. Never had a request for a declaration page for insurance.
Total scam. Deceptive website description written as if they are in the Miami International airport but they are not. They hidden unnecessary fees... unlike legit car rental places. Total shadiness.. requested refund and left property.. would not recommend.. NOT LEGIT...
