It took 3 hours for a soak off and gel manicure. I asked for a different technician after the first girl clearly didn’t know what she was doing. I asked for almond shape and these are oval and weird. I think the pictures speak for themselves. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice but I will not be returning.

I am so happy I made an appointment here. Everyone is so nice and made me feel very welcomed. Kayla did my manicure and polish change and she did an awesome job. If you live Downtown or in Midtown, you should definitely check out this hidden gem in downtown Memphis!

This nail shop is the best shop I have ever been to in Memphis. I just had my second visit with them. My first appt was with Jaycee who is absolutely BOMB at the nail designs. My shellac lasted a while and never lifted. My second time coming, I went to Jamye. She did an amazing job as well. My shellac was done in a timely manner. Even though I was a few minutes late for my appt, she still took me and didnt rush on my services! I would recommend this business over and over again. Did I mention that they are also BLACK OWNED! Continue to support black business people!

I read some of the other reviews and from my experience these ladies are as professional as they come. My technician was Misty and during a busy holiday weekend she was very patient, professional, and gentle with my rough man hands and feet. Thanks Pretti Nails team will be back again soon..

They have quality nail materials/tools. My appointment was kept on time. I enjoyed my full set. The shops location is in a beautiful part in downtown Memphis, and its just a short walk to the Mississippi River. The woman are nice and professional. My time in the salon was an experience! Ive been with my previous nail salon since I was 17yrs old, and Id never gone anywhere else.... permanently. Trust me I shouldve taken my business elsewhere many moons ago. So it was in my previous salon, from another unhappy customer, that I learned the reputation about Pretti nails. I decided to give it a try, and I wasnt disappointed. My experience here was a great choice, and I feel as though Ive found a new salon home. Thanks to Ashley whos the tech that really takes time out to make sure the customers are satisfied. To date I havent experienced anyone else yet. However, Ive overheard other customers highly compliment the other techs! I do highly recommend this business!

My planned one-week visit to Memphis lasted two weeks longer than expected, and I had not come to town prepared to manage my own manicure needs. Jacie and Misty at Pretti Nails came to my rescue! My fingernails were in particularly tough shape, and Jacie was incredibly gentle in cleaning up my cuticles and building extra support into my nails, which were weakened from my hatchet-job home manicures since the start of Covid. Jackies attention to detail in my manicure was exceptional. Likewise, my pedicure from Misty was relaxing, thorough and perfectly detailed. If I didnt live over 1000 miles away, I would definitely make these two ladies my regular nail techs! If you are in Memphis, I could not recommend Pretti Nails more highly!

I came in town needing a pedi/ manicure and everywhere I went was packed, long waiting list and no openings- I ended up booking a room downtown Memphis and called this Nail Salon - when I tell you they treated me with such professionalism and welcomed- I ended up only getting a pedicure and the service was awesome!!!!This will be my go too spot if ever I need a nail service.

Please do me a favor and do not waste your time at this place. The first time I went in, I had an appointment for gel nails with Jacie. She showed up OVER 45 minutes late that day, with barely an apology for me.I always believe in second chances, so I decided to try Pretti Nails again a few months later. My appointment was scheduled for the 4th of July. I called to confirm with Jacie the week before because of the fact that it was a holiday, and the girl who answered the phone said she would check with Jacie and get back to me. She never called me back. I received a confirmation text about the appointment the day prior, so I assumed it was still happening. I arrived on time and the entire business was closed. It was incredibly frustrating and when I called there was no offer for any kind of service or even to pay for my parking that I wasted that day. This business is unprofessional, unorganized, and has wasted my time one too many times. I will NOT be back.

Took my girl so we could spend in the black community to recycle the black dollar, the work is as good as the Asian nail salons but they charge double that of the Asian salons less the free chanclas they give you and at check out they shamelessly ask if you want to tip. My two cents to them is get your prices in line and offer the chanclas, if you want your community to solicit your business you must be competitive and word of mouth will be the best advertising you have.

EXTRAORDINARY!!!Visiting from Oregon and I came to Pretti Nails for the first time on Tuesday March 23th. When I entered I couldn’t help but notice the modern decor, plants, the beautiful antique chairs and the BEAUTIFUL nail polish wall!EVERYONE inside spoke to me with a welcoming hello. I was then directed to my nail technician Jayme who was ready and waiting.I was instructed to wash my hands and then pick out my nail color. I felt so pampered from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. So much so that I was booking an appointment for my Mom and Grandmom the following week before I left the shop 🤣Ashley did a pedicure for my mom and it was absolutely phenomenal! She said she felt like she had “new feet walking on clouds”.If that didn’t explain to you why to book, here a some bullet points:The shop follows all mandated COVID protocols, CLEAN, SAFE, SANITIZED, the materials used are top quality, the Women are WONDERFUL, there is a LARGE parking garage right across the street, beautiful downtown views, the riverfront is a brisk walk away and booking is easy!

I brought my friend here for her birthday and it was such an amazing experience for both of us. We were serviced by Misty and Ashley and both were professional and great at what they do. The establishment was clean and spacious and they started exactly at our appointment time. Highly recommend.

I went in for a Wish online order and saw them at work. Very friendly and sweet staff! Didnt have to wait long at all! Saw them working on 3 different customers and their nails looked absolutely gorgeous! Cant wait to get some free time to get a manicure or pedicure for myself! Would recommend them for nails and safe/friendly place to pick up packages.

My girlfriend and I walked in and was met with weird looks from I assume was a pop marked faced nail technician. She rudely asked if we had an appointment to which we replied no. She the resumed her conversation with the receptionist that was seated next to her instead of being at her post. They spoke among themselves if we could be taken care of and if there were spots available. The receptionist then went to the back and came back promptly with a response of we have a spot open at 6:15pm. We refused and left feeling as if we were going to be served reluctantly. That doesnt sit well with me. Do better.

It was my first time there today.. I went to pay some bills in the downtown area and stumbled on this nail shop. I’m glad I did! I had to wait bc I didn’t have an appointment. Even so, it was well worth the wait. I enjoyed sitting and talking to the young ladies sharing my 70 yrs young wisdom with the ladies. I am a retired school teacher who loves to get my nails done. The service was great and the shop was very clean and nice. My nails looked great. I will call to make an appointment soon. I recommend either one of the ladies, they were all awesome.. I’m visiting Memphis on a work trip from Texas and I was anxious about finding someone to care for my feet in a new city. I took a leap of faith and I’m so happy I did. Kelly was so nice and polite. She made me feel comfortable and cared for. We talked about everything from traveling to things we wish we had. It was like I knew her for years.The ambiance and esthetic of this shop is so cute! It’s chic, pink, and so girly. It reminds me of champagne and rose petal dreams.

I enjoy getting pampered by these wonderful ladies. They always make me feel comfortable and the ambiance is always warm and fun. Ashley has me spoiled and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I recently moved to Memphis not long ago and had to find a new place to get my nails done. This was the closest to me in downtown Memphis, so I thought I would give it a try. I’m super excited I did! The ladies were so friendly and super nice. I asked for a full set gel nails and thats what I got. It didnt hurt at all. Lol. Ashley was the one who actually did my nails. They looked amazing after she was done. Im extremely picky about nails. No need to search any further this is my holy grail nail salon. 😍 Ive been back 4 times now the results were all perfect. I usually go to three or four shop before I choose the best one and I got lucky with Pretti Nails. I hope this helps others. 🤗

So I went here to get my nails done after booking an appointment. When I walked in the girl at the front realized she didn’t know I had an appointment. Instead of just telling me that they had me wait. She allowed me to sit there for almost 20 minutes. Now this is on top of a place that doesn’t look like it’s even ready for business, unfinished, and questionable sanitary work stations. At least they could have good customer service with such a poor representation of what a business is supposed to look like. When I was getting ready to leave, she merely said sorry before I walked out of the door that didn’t seem sincere. It’s a shame because I’m here for the NBC show and I was getting ready to tell all of the people who I work with about this place that I read great things about. Will not go back and will not recommend
