Daughter treated me to a pedi while visiting. Staff was extremely courteous, polite and helpful. No rudeness. Had a a beautiful family atmosphere. Clean and sanitary. Friendliest nail shop Ive ever visited. Would be a regular if I lived in Memphis.

I wish I could give 0 stars😠😠. Ok, me and my mom came here on Saturday. We both got mani pedis with shellac. Our pedi tech was John. John also did my nails and the owners young(inexperiened) daughter did my moms nails. Now Our pedicures went ok. John was rather flirtatious but I didnt let it bother me. We had our services done and we left. Within two days, my shellac had become kinda loose. On Wednesday evening, it peeled off my thumbs. I called the owner today (Thursday) to discuss my unhappiness with my nails. My mom had also discussed with me that the young girl did not, soak and remove her cuticle nor did her manicure consist of anything other than drilling her old shellac off and polishing the new one on. We arrived at the shop around 4 pm because he told me they sat the last person at 630. I wanted to come b4 closing so I went to get my mom and went the shop. We entered and explained to the female the what Id explained to the owner. She understood and said itd be a FEW minutes. She asked us to have a seat. We did, no problem. The guy(im assuming the owner) comes out and asks what we need. I explain to him Im the one who called to have my nails done over. All mama needed was cuticle treatment because theyd begun to peel badly. After sitting for a few minutes, the guy asks if I wanna come back at 630 because it would be a while. I reply, no we are already here and thats another 2 and 1/2 hours. He was really pushing us to come back to the point I was pissed off. He then began to argue back and forth with me about the time I called him (around 2:30) and what time we came in like we were an inconvenience. They had no interest in fixing their own mess up and they went about things so unprofessionally. I explained, all I wanted was my and mamas nails to be fixed and was mad at them for treating a paying customer in such a way. Especially when I could have just demanded my money back rather than try to fix it. I was disgusted and refused to have them diservice me and mama any futher. We left and I made sure to take photos of our nails and the shop logo. Guess thats what I get for going to this cheap, and terribly understaffed shop. From what I see, there are 3 workers and like double the chairs and pedicure seats. Save your money and go elsewhere!!!!!

Worst nail shop I have ever been to... toes were painted do sloppily and a hair in my nail... they are trifling and I hope this helps someone not spend their money in an undeserving place..

Ive been going here for years. The staff is Always friendly to me. They even serve wine &margaritas while you get pampered. I cant say its the best place because i have had a few new manicures that was done by somebody new.

Customer service was great! My nails could of been better. They need better polish, the polish I wanted was old and lumpy.

The owners are husband and wife. Their daughter works there. She is her parents child. When they get packed, which is every weekend, the wife misses spots when painting your nails, and she rushes. If you quietly point it out, she catches an attitude. The husband talks about the person before or after you. He can be funny but it’s not nice to talk about your customers to the next. They don’t wash their hands in between touching different peoples’ hands or feet. They now intentionally only take cash. Their card machine hasn’t “worked” in almost a year. They refuse to hire anyone else besides a college black girl who’s there in the summer. Her work is meh. Oh and call the wife “Ma”. That’s the secret word to get them to pretend they know you. Don’t expect a very clean shop also.

Work fast,, gets the job done,, very friendly service,, good prices 🥰

I just ♡ this place, most of the time when I go, theres no wait time. I get in the spa chair and get my pampering on.....the staff is professional and friendly. While you are there they offer free beverages. But you dont have to take my word try it for yourself......

I decided to not receive services after the lady who was to perform my pedicure was about to use the same utensils that she used for someone else’s pedicure. I explained to her that those utensils were not properly sanitized. She then claimed that I needed to pay $10 for different utensils. A man who appears to be a manager directed her to a closet to get different utensils, and she returned with an attitude, telling me that the next time I’d need to pay $10. There will never be a next time nor was there a this time, because I declined to proceed after all that had occurred.It is a health hazard to perform a pedicure with utensils on client B that have not been sterilized after you just performed client A’s pedicure with those utensils. Completely unacceptable.

I have been a customer at Lovely nails on Kirby Parkway almost 4yrs..At one point I would have suggested this shop to people..But not anymore..They do get lots of customers,but once u in the customer chair u will have 2-3 people jump around doing different steps on your nails someone will start then they switch place & that person starts on another customer back & forth..My biggest complaint is there are several steps to doing the nails..I get diamond gel in all the time I been there they have never told me I need to completely remove these & start new after all these years..But after going to another salon I was told I need to soak these off & start fresh because my nails mold,get fungus under them over time as nails loosen & water gets under them..Also at Lovely Nails they have gotten to a place they do fewer steps when u get a refill..They start with the sanding down about 1min then a quick brush of diamond gel then they sand it all right back off put the coat on have u in the machine & u done..I wanted a particular color one day & was given something I didnt want when I told them it wasnt wat I asked for or wanted..My nails were done in the color I wanted but the layer of gel was place then top coat I was tossed in the machine & done with me..They were not shaped,sand,smoothed or properly done..The diamond gel looks like it was lumped on & I literally have lumps & was told they didnt want to do any steps or the color would come off..I have silver,blue & red & when I had refill neither color ever came off when I came for refills,so u could see that I had a rainbow of colors..So I didnt understand that..Getting a pedicure or just toes polished they are now partially polishing your toes..I was just so disgusted I didnt want them to fix the issue anymore because its becoming a constant problem..The last time I was there I was the only customer my nails & toes look just horrible unacceptable..I was given a quick sanding done very sloppy & very fast..if u look at my nails u can see where they were quickly sand across one very small drop of diamond gel a top coat & placed in the machine nothing else was done..So women pay attention to the steps u get especially if u a new customer because once u come again they will do half of that next time..

I come here to get my nails and feet done and I live in the Whitehaven area.

I wish i can give one star because my nail fell off on the first day n my shellac peeled on the second day of my having my nails done. They don’t open on time and i was there @3:32 pm and didn’t get serviced until 6:00 pm for my nails to be messed up like this .
