I want to say overall I loved the outcome of my nails I went in wanting something simple but they showed me some designs I liked. After completing my service my nails were beautiful and I got so many compliments on them. Sadly after two days my nails cracked and peeled although I spent an expensive amount of money on the gel nails. I just want to say that the service was wonderful but the amount of money and the quality after days was not. I wanted to come in and get them redone but I would rather go somewhere else to get a better quality

The Best nail shop that i have ever been to hands down. Addy was so hospitable and an overall beautiful person. She did a great job with my pedicure and helped me pick out a wonderful color for the fall time. Thank you so much Addy. I will be back soon. Mimi did an excellent with my eyebrows. I love this nail salon❗ Ive frequented Amy almost every two weeks since last September and I absolutely love her and her work. I feel like shes excellent at bringing my nail ideas to life (no matter how odd lol) and shes always eager to try the different things I come up with. I am also a nail biter and my nails grew really long under Amys care. She does not use a drill. My nails are strong and not weak or brittle like Ive experienced at other salons in the past. I skipped a few months of service due to a nail injury and she always asked my cousins about me when they came into the salon 💞. Ive never felt rushed, an attitude, frustration or anything negative from Amy or anyone in the salon ever. I attached a few of my favorite sets Amy has done and a few pics of my nail growth. 100% recommend❣️

Tried this place for the first time. The environment is very clean. The service is quick. I wish they could do the manicure and pedicure a little bit slowly so that the customers could enjoy this service. Also, it would be great to provide a print service menu for the customers. Not all customers are technology savvy. They should also do some promotions or discounts with the manicure and pedicure service. The price is a bit high. Overall, the experience was good.

The experience was nice, and that’s what you’re paying for. The pedicure I got ($51 signature) is heavy on the extras but lacking on the basics. And I feel like the tech went so quickly that I barely got to enjoy the relaxation aspect of the experience. Update: really looked at my toes after the fact and yeah this was the worst pedicure I’ve ever gotten, my toe nails weren’t filed down, my cuticles weren’t cleaned, and the polish is haphazard. Not pleased at all.

That pedicure was to die for!!!! I got the pearl pedicure and I had baby feet by the time I left. It even included a hot stone leg massage and paraffin wax for your feet. I got a matching manicure and it was so worth it. I feel like a freshly glazed donut, wooooo!!!! I went with my mother and aunt and they keep us together so we could talk and chill. They got mani pedis too. I must go back and I definitely recommend.

The sign- in process was quick and user friendly. The staff was very accommodating and my wait time was minimal. I went for a fill-in oink and white and the manicurist realized that it yellowed and use different products to ensure they remained white and pink as they were when I initially got them done; understanding it wasn’t at that location. I appreciate het taking care of me properly.

Whenever I go to Crosstown Gloss, Emily is usually the first person I see and I know that’s it’s gonna be a perfect visit!! I saw Kelley n Mimi today n they are simply excellent. I also see Karla whom I love as well! This is a great shop that I really enjoy visiting!!!

I was nicked in the finger 4 times and started bleeding. I asked for oval and got stiletto and the color is not what I asked for... i spoke up and the man started arguing with me. They then proceeded to charge me $70! WILL NOT BE COMING BACK

First I would like to say Tim is the best! Tim is the only tech I allow to do my nails! However there are a few issues I would like to mention far as the staff. Amy and Emily are not professional or friendly at all. I’ve witnessed the way they interact with guest that come in. They don’t welcome the guest in a way I would want someone to return to my place of business. Amy has walked past customers who are trying to speak with her as if no one is talking to her. Emily has purposely tried to not get Tim customers to him after knowing his customers have no issue with waiting on him. Like myself I schedule appointments with Tim and she makes it a issue that I want Tim for service. Overall Tim makes my experience there every time the best! But Emily and Amy need better customer service skills!

The manager named Emily was Great...I had a bad experience yesterday and was not satisfied at all with the work but she PATIENTLY corrected my pedicure as well as my nails today. She was so nice and detailed. There was also a technician named Amy that stayed late and assisted and was good as well. Thanks again Emily and Amy!!!

I always go here and request Mimi, she is the best! So kind and will always fulfill your nails. She hasn’t let me down yet! Been going here for quite some time. I always get dip and I love it.

It’s just ok. The service has been inconsistent for me. This last time my pedicure service seemed super rushed.The guy did the bare minimum of parts of the service like the foot scrub and massage and the paraffin wax. The wax didn’t even set and was still part liquid when he took the bag off. He also just basically took a hot towel and wiped the wax off. There was no wrapping. He skipped parts of signature pedicure like the mask and massage oil. He must have put my toe nail polish on too thick. It had time to dry through my gel service and and more than an hour later, it still wasn’t dry. The polish on my big toe nails smudged.This was unfortunate as I was looking forward to a pedicure after not going to a salon during most of the pandemic. I don’t think I’ll be back soon.

I absolutely loved my first visit here! I hadnt had a pedicure since the pandemic hit, and I REALLY needed it. The service at Gloss was excellent and made for a great spa day with my mom!

They are neat and clean. Prices are on the higher side but friendly service. They have a variety of services including acrylics, gel, waxing, etc.

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!When they first opened they were amazing, kind and took their time giving a service. People greeted with a smile, put us in a chair, with massager and prepared soak. Now they rush, equipment is broken down the greeter is none caring. I spent $150.00 and was rushed! Will never go back.

Everything was fine and a I had a good experience until I got ready to pay my ticket and the manager popped out with a pedicure price that wasn’t listed on their menu! She was unprofessional and argued me up and down she wasn’t changing my price and that it’s my fault that I didn’t look online, when I can simply look at the menu for the pedicure. She said she must have forgotten to update some, so therefore I asked for a customer courtesy in the price I saw because I know what I wanted to pay and was on a budget, so the fact she argued with a customer as if I was wrong; I’ll be finding somewhere else to patronize! She embarrassed me and I didn’t like the arguing with a customer and especially in front of others!

I went to get a full set and a pedicure. I asked for an almond shape on my nails and got stiletto, I asked for regular polish and the tech began to put gel on my acrylic nails. I advised him that I did not ask for this and I wasn’t going to pay for this. He took the gel off and began to polish my nails. By this time I was annoyed and was ready to leave. I paid and left and will NEVER be returning. This is the third time I’ve asked for a service and got something I didn’t ask for. I also had residue on my nails that wasn’t removed. This was the last straw.

Honest review with the bad & the good in June of 2020....I have been going to Gloss for years and have always thought it was the best - nice staff, clean salon, good work, etc. Sadly, I think they are slipping and it may be time to look for a new salon.Called ahead to make an appointment and the girl was kinda rude and sounded irritated, which I just chalked up to being busy and let that pass. We arrived 5 minutes before our scheduled appointment time and ended up having to wait a while. Im very patient, especially after working in service industry, so no big deal to us, but for those on a tight schedule, I could see it being an issue. You make an appointment and they should be ready to go at the set time.We were sat in pedi chairs and did not wait long for techs. We were actually offered drinks which surprised me because we have only been offered a couple of times in the years we have been going there. The guy who worked on my nails was very nice. Im not sure if my daughters tech even said hello. The two techs chatted back and forth and each looked over several times, and I could not help but think that they were talking about us. Part of the reason I used to love Gloss was because it wasnt like many salons you go to where its obvious the techs are talking about you.Our mani AND pedi went by faster than just getting a manicure used to take at Gloss. It was so rushed and seemed they were just going through the motions (like wiping buffer across each nail one time, not inspecting that everything looks good, etc. The tech was very careful when trimming my cuticles though, which I did appreciate. I did not get lotion on my hands (my favorite part of a manicure!) but after he painted my nails he put lotion on my arms, almost like he had been in such a rush he had forgotten.The pedicure was not much more than getting my feet washed and toenails painted. They are not using all the regular tools because of the pandemic, so the pumice is a cheap little sponge and did nothing to remove dead skin. My feet were still dry and rough when I left. I should also mention that the manicure took place while I was in the pedicure chair so I had to twist and reach my right arm over to the left side of the chair to get that hand worked on. Maybe its just me being picky but I hate that. You pay to have a relaxing, pampering experience. If I wanted to contort myself and hold a pose I would go to yoga. He also started trimming cuticles and filing my nails right over my drink. Yuck!The polish job was NOT good. I do not recommend Morgan Taylor polish. I had never used that brand before but the color was pretty in the bottle. I didnt like it very much on, but thats my fault. The bigger issue was that the polish was thick and clumpy and ended up bubbling up. He applied two very thick coats and it looks awful. It was also not applied evenly so its lighter in some spots and has ridges in others. I could have done this at home. 😞 I am not skilled at painting nails and thats why I occasionally treat myself to have someone do it for me. The pictures do not even capture how bad this looks in person. My fiance who knows nothing about manicures even commented on how I got my cuticles painted. 🤦 There are also spots that were completely missed on the sides of my nails. Day 2 and I am already seeing chipping. This was money wasted.As far as safety goes in regards to Covid 19...they are not consistent. They do ask you to wait outside, wear a mask, and wash your hands. They use liners in the foot tubs. However, my tech did not keep gloves on the entire time. I watched him hand a menu I just used to someone else without wiping it down. They are not using disposable menus. I also did not see anyone wipe down the arms of chairs or massage remotes after someone was in that chair. So they arent 100% on their game with that. Between the sanitation and not being able to use regular tools, I recommend waiting before you go get your nails done or dont expect it to be what you are used to. Overall disappointment.

The decor is lovely. The Massage chairs new. And you get two cocktails while you are pampered. Gloss is my new preferred nail salon. Ive been here 3 times and have been delighted with the appearance, quality and durability of my dipped nails.

My friends and I booked an appointment. We arrived prepared to share a relaxing and fun fellowship. Upon entering I requested a mask for protection. An associated demanded that I check in first. She was rude but I continued so that I can enjoy the moment with my sisters. I checked in and requested a mask from the manager. She said “No”. That was my que to leave but my friend, who wasn’t feeling her best offered to get a mask for me from her car. We waited 15 minutes and during the wait we chose a few polishes and glitter accents for our pedicures. The manager was unbothered when asked if more polish colors were available. She gave a look that only a person who isn’t interested in the success of the business. We were prep and ready to enter the pedi area. We were seated 2 and 1 across. I placed my feet in the tub and was ready to experience what appeared to be an upscale nail shop. NOT! NOPE! Just I begin to relax, an associate turned off the tub jets and my feet sat in the water until it became warm. I requested hot water, “Wait”, I requested jet bubbles, “Wait”. My friends were offered a beverage menus, my friend extended one to me. They were both experiencing a full spa pedicure treatment. I was really trying to make the best of the worst experience so I requested wine to knock the edge off my attitude. The attendant simply grab the menu and asked me nothing. I knew it was time to go but I didn’t want to ruin the moment. I thought I was being punked or time traveling through segregation. I finally decided to leave when a white couple requested jet bubbles and the manager hopped to it. I got up and left. I went shopping and told everyone about the mistreatment and I will continue to exposing the Gloss, I mean Garbage Nail Bar.

The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very professional. And my Nail Tech was friendly and very personable(Lili) I will definitely come again when Im in town.

I absolutely love the service here! They work pretty quickly, and also provide professional service that’s great!! I was able to get a cool design on my nails that I had a picture of.

I have never left a review for a business before but after going to Gloss I felt like I should so other people could at least know how horrible of a job they do. I went to Gloss to get my acrylics removed and get a manicure. Tim did my nails- he soaked my acrylics for about 2 minutes and then proceeded to painfully rip off the acrylic with a tool I had never seen before that literally caused me to wince. Instead of even giving me a manicure, Tim cut my nails down so short and they were all uneven. Then he painted them but failed to cover even one of my whole nails. I payed $35 for my nails to come out worse than they looked when I went in. Whatever your imagining, just know it is 10 times worse in person- my nails look horrible. Never going to gloss again, and if you do, stay away from Tim. Lol. Y’all suck.

Gloss Nail Bar Concourse has exceptional service and professionalism. I have received the absolute best manicures and pedicures from this salon. My nail tech Ann is a God-send. She specializes in natural nails and I get gel polish when I have them done every two weeks and that often times can be pushed out longer. The staff there are always pleasant and friendly, and they know you by name. That alone speaks volumes to me. I look forward to my bi-weekly appointments, they are very relaxing!!!!

WORST dip manicure ever. Within 4 days it was already chipping. I’ve had dip before at another salon and they did 10+ layers, here at Gloss she did 2 layers and they felt very thin and not durable. Sure enough the first nail chipped on day 4. I called and asked to go in for a repair and they were so RUDE. The man at the front desk made me point to the lady who did my nails the first time and go to her again. She asked “what did you do?” with an attitude. She then very passively aggressively fixed the chipped nail. Now again day 8 another has chipped. Worst manicure and $50 I’ve spent on a place that treats people with disrespect and blames clients for their own poor technique. Never returning here again.

I’ve been going to this location for about a year now but today was my last day. I will not give them another penny. I was overcharged for something I didn’t ask for. I asked for short nails and they charged me for long. I asked to get my eyebrows done and they allowed a lady that came after me with no appointment to go before me because she was a regular. I’ve been supporting this location for a year so I would consider myself a regular as well. I end up leaving without my eyebrows done because I didn’t wanna wait on someone that skipped me. My experience today was unfair and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Made an appointment for 2:30 and didn’t get in until 3:20. I asked for tip and dip and they didn’t do the tips. Ran out of the color I wanted so I asked for a similar color and he didn’t give it to me. Also service was very rushed, I definitely needed another coat of dip but I could tell he was hurrying through the appointment. Was also never offered a drinks while everyone else around me had one. Definitely won’t come back here.

They change the prices. And normal acrylic length nails they charge for. If it’s not the natural length you will get charged for long nails. Which I think is ridiculous but they are just ok. Nothing to write home about.
