If you need a beard trim or shave (I’m bald), JR is your man. Used to get my services around the corner when I lived in Montclair. Now he’s in Maplewood and I’m in Jersey City, but I make the 45min drive to see him and get cut because it’s worth it. Everyone always compliments me after JR cleans me up. Top marks all around. 👏🏻

The place looks classy. The man who cuts hair is unprofessional. He cut my sons hair so short we were both shocked and horrified. He did not listen to anything I asked him to do. He took it upon himself to cut all of my sons hair off without consulting either my son or myself. At the end- my son had the same haircut as the man cutting it and everyone was upset. I expressed my dissatisfaction and no proper sorry. Go elsewhere! I tried to support a new business during COVID and I could not be more disappointed.

Excellent cut. Would have been 5 star if they had touchless payment systems. An ATM in store for cash feels like a payment scheme from a bygone era. Would love to see touchless payment for me to come back. Most barbers take square payments as do most businesses. Please consider this.

I’ve been here twice. I tried them out after getting a bad cut from a place down the street with out naming names. The haircut and beard combo brings a sparkle to my wife’s eyes. 😉

Good guys, great cuts

Michael cut my hair this Monday morning, and it was just me in the shop. The shop was clean, and he used disposable aprons which is a good safety practice. He did a great job, personable, fun music, good sanitation and barber practices. Hes a pro. I paid more than usual, but price matches the high quality experience.

My son had his hair cut here and the barber did a terrific job. He was very polite and friendly, and the result was a very happy kid who felt proud to show off his fresh cut. Well be back!

Went to the new Maplewood location for beard and hair cut. Beard was done ok although it was uneven on one end. However, my haircut was well to long and not blended. I came back in the next day to get it fixed and the result was sub par.Overall the customer service is great, and as a customer it’s always uncomfortable to advocate for yourself and I could’ve done A better job, but, for the cost of the haircut and beard I was hoping for better results.

I brought my 3 year old here and it was a great experience. Ill definitely come back myself too. Friendly folks.

Very good service professional

Great service and always a perfect haircut. All of the barbers are solid and consistent. Never a long wait. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for great looking and timely haircut.

By far the best barbershop in the surrounding area. The entire roster set of barbers here are phenomenal. The service is impeccable, the shop is extremely clean, and the barbers are laid back and hilarious. All of the barbers are extremely expansive in their skill sets and Jorge and Khalid are two fantastic barbers. Highly recommend.

Paid attention to all the little details and the price was very reasonable. If I ever need to get another haircut in the city would definitely see him again and recommend anyone in need of a quality cut to see him.

This place breathes NYC, it should almost be a tourist trap but then yall would be taking my seat when I need a crispy clean fade. The vibe, personalities, location, its all very new New York. The haircuts are pretty damn good too.

Stopped by this place last night for a quick fade. Just had one 2 weeks ago so I figured it would be no problem. Oh theres a problem. It was a walk in so I know I took a gamble but I didnt think it would be an issue to just follow the line thats already there. Proved to be a challenge. Sat in the barbers chair, a woman w/ what sounded like a russian accent. Told her what I wanted. She then proceeded to take the line to far up to the part. Well, now it is what it is. Then the scissors come out. Why??? I told her I dont want to touch the top. She said Oh as if surprised. Why??? I just told you what I wanted! Just a fade!!! So attempt to cut my hair more so than a fade to charge me more? Well now I have a split between a guido Justin Bieber and Jeremy Lins line up circa 2012. Your barbers cant handle a simple fade when the line is already there? And for $25 after you tried to charge me $40??? Step it up guys.
