Every time I have to get somewhere on time, Sun Prairie can be almost guaranteed to be at least 10-15 minutes late. When I call to find out where my ride is, the dispatcher is extremely rude and has no interest in getting people where they need to be on time. The drivers themselves are usually very nice, but they cant make up for the poor customer service and lateness.

They dont even call you when the xab is outside cheap but unorganized...good drivers but company needs to get there business more organized

There are very old fashioned and only takes cash. They need to start taking cards for payments.

Anytime i get a taxi from them, the driver is always late, texting or using the tablet while driving, speeding & driving reckless. the dispatch lady is often nice but sometimes sounds like she has an attitude . they also never take me to the right house ! i would love if they could improve these things but until then i will not be riding with them again .

The vehicle was absolutely the filthiest and most disgusting transportation I have ever had. It looked like it is used for dog transporting and other dirty whatever. It was about 1/4 mile for $8. I do not recommend anyone use this business. Uber from now on.

The are friendly and timely. I just read all of the reviews and although some peoples experience are different than others, I think this cab company does a really good job for being a very small company and trying to accommodate a ride for much of Sun Prairie. I use this service to get my daughter to school and sure, she may have been late to school once but I understood the situation this company is in. This company is really reasonably priced and they get you where you need to go..I would rather pay a low and affordable cab fare than to pay places like green cab (not to discredit)$30 just to go a mile to school. Those are the things to take into consideration. This is the only cab service in Sun Prairie and for the volume that they are beginning to get since Sun Prairie is getting bigger, I cant complain. Are their prices going to increase? I dont know, because I dont work for this company but it would be my common sense that says maybe yes, they will increase and that will cause a whole different set of complaints. Its there, use it and appreciate it or go pay green cab all that money just to come get you to take you virtually no where. I commend Sun Prairie taxi for being able to accommodate rides of people despite the rudeness of people. Communities need to learn to appreciate the services that are around and provided because these services dont have to be offered.

If youre going to be picky about a taxi service that offers 4 dollar rides and even 2 dollar rides for low income familys, take an Uber and pay the extra money. This is a transportation service with low fares, thats just what you should expect. Some dispatchers are quick to the point which may come off as rude but in fact many people use this service and there are often only 4 to 5 drivers at a time. I use it back and forth between work and home, if youre not bringing negative energy into the cab you wont get it back most of the time. Some drivers are friendly and some are not, they are people after all. Why complain about a service that allows me to make a living? 5 stars.

I’ve trusted Sun Prairie taxi to take my sons to and from school (in cold winter months) for years. To trust a cab service to transport my kids says a lot. We have NEVER had a problem. They have even given me a heads up when the taxi is running slow or when I should make an earlier pickup time due to weather or lack of staff. They’ve even called me when my kids missed the ride or left backpacks in the taxi. I don’t think the dispatchers are rude like other reviews says. Can you imagine all the calls for rides and trying to coordinate? Thank you Sun Prairie Taxi for getting my kids to and from school safely!

I called the for a taxi to pick up my son and take him to his dads. His dad pays the taxi when our son arrives. Never had a problem till today. The driver gave my 11 year old son a hard time because he didnt have the money right away. One you dont yell at my 11 year old son. Two if you have a problem talk to me or his dad. Three you could have sent him inside and had him tell me he needed the money right away. Four you dont yell at my 11 year old son. If that same driver comes again in the morning I will send him along and ask for a different driver. As a parent I wanted to ring his neck.

Very rude dispatchers. Cabs never on time or anywhere near the estimated time they give you. A couple drivers drive like lunatics and the rest that don’t drive like freaking 83 year old woman that can barely see over the steering wheel. They don’t take cards or call you when they come to get you just honk so you have to be waiting outside even on the coldest/hottest of days. Then they have to pick up and drop off a million people on your ride alone. I would not suggest you call them for a ride to work cause I guarantee you’ll be 10-15 minutes late.

Talk about unprofessional dispatch system.. answering the call on speaker phone, laughing at the customer and never send the taxi to the requested address. 6pm dispatcher December 12, 2018 get another job!You obviously hate your job or youre just mentally ill.. you are certainly not a people person. This issue will be addressed higher up.Reading previous complain reviews and my personal experience with the same dispatcher, question.. why is she still working for the City of Sun Prairie Taxi dispatch?There are other people out there would take her place in a heart beat, some do appreciate having employment.With that kinda service the taxi drivers are the one counting on a decent tip.

Last time I used this taxi I had no problem at all but this was back in 2013. My roommate relies on this service to get to work and shes been late many of times due to this service and of lately hasnt been able to get through to them. Seriously guys, what happened? You use to put clients first and were always on time.

The taxis are just too damn late. We called around 7:10 am this morning, and its like 8:00 am!! And now I just realized while writing this its 8:01 am. And now Im late because of this slow system they got running. Were definitely going to call around and cross this out.

I usually have great service with Sun Prairie taxi, love the drivers and dispatch is friendly but today I was VERY disappointed. I always call 2-3 hours ahead of time and although they can be late itz typically within time of picking up my boys and even then i remind them i have to pick up at a certain time. Today not only did i miss class but was also late picking up my boys and now at risk for them being kicked out of daycare. I completely understand its a taxi service and they tend to run behind. What i do not understand is how i can call HOURS ahead and still be picked up an hour late. Just really let down by the service today guys 😞😞

Great service

I called at 6:15 am for a cab ride at 8:00 am ride about a half mile away on a snowy day, the dispatcher lady said theyd be here and they were late even though she said I could reserve it for that time. Mind you this was her first day at this school. I guess that most of the reviews of this company are in fact true. Sad and true. At least the driver was good. And I realize that the driver is only going off of what the horrible dispatch tells them so I feel bad for the drivers.

Some of the rudest dispatch people Ive ever encountered. Drivers are okay, when they arent bitching about how awful their job is. Cheap, but you get exactly what you pay for.

First off, dispatcher was rude, cab took a very long time to arrive. After disclosing immediately to the driver that I had a $100 bill and asking if she had change, I had the option to go back inside and get a smaller bill, but she said she didnt have time for that, so she brought me to a gas station to get change. The gas station didnt have change for my bill, so she got on the phone with dispatch and said she didnt feel safe giving me a ride and kicked me out several blocks from my destination, which, might I add, would have had change, and she knew that. Also, they do ride share and pick other people on their way to your destination, which is cool if they were to give you a discount, but they dont. This cab service sucks. Uber instead.

I took the Sun Prairie Taxi to and from physical therapy appointments over the last six weeks. I called ahead to make reservations. The service was less expensive than Uber, and the drivers were very nice. The service arrived on time to my home and from my appointment place. I would highly recommend this service.

1st time using taxi and so great with my kid

They take soooooooo long even thought I ordered the taxi about an hour ago. They should close down and sun prairie should find a better taxi. Please improve!!!!!!

Didnt taxi in Windsor

I would do a zero star rating if I could. I was at Walmart with my two year old walking to my car at the edge of the lane close to the cars, so not in the middle or in anyones way and this African American woman in her 50s revved her engine and drove past almost hitting the cart my daughter was in. Then had the nerve to honk at me. Great drivers you have working at this company.

I should’ve known not to use this service. The dispatch people are rude and disrespectful. I called to see where my ride was 4 times and got hung up on twice. Then the cab pulls up and didn’t even leave my apartment complex before she rudely told me to get out and to call an uber. Smh horrible taxi service and I wouldn’t use it if I was dying and needed to use this service.

The drivers are routinely late. When I call for a cab in the morning and ask for a particular time in the afternoon, one would think they could plan their route so a customer could get picked up in time. I was late again for an appointment yesterday. Then in getting picked up, the taxi parked away from the door, behind the building. When I mentioned to the driver that I was standing outside by the entrance and never would have seen her, she made some comment about how they have picked people up at the back before. This was highly unlikely since the entrance where she was parked is only for employees of the chiro office.

Worst taxi company ever don’t waste your time!

I am very nice person and never complain about a service..but Sun Prairie Taxi is absolutely the WORST possibly service provider in the whole industry I wouldnt even give a one star. Luckily Uber and Lyft are available now.Absolutely disqusting. Please someone take care about this in the town.

Called for a ride at 8am. Not a cab in sight as of 9am. When I called to check I was informed both locations which are approximately 5 miles from terminal are outside of this companies service area. Now, Im not a certified taxi specialist, however. If I owned a taxi company thats range was 10 miles or less Im certain Id be out of business within my first day of operation. The dispatch could have been direct with their mistake instead of lying about their range. Avoid this place. They are utterly incompetent

I usually get fine service but td was terrible. I called and got complete attitude because I gave an address instead of a business name. And when I asked to speak with a supervisor I was hung up on. Now Ive been calling back for a ride home from work for 10 minutes and my call is being refused.

Horrible! The woman/manager is the rudest person I’ve spoken to from a business. She was unhelpful and dismissive. If there were another option, I’d use it in a heartbeat! Completely disgusting

Everytime I call to schedule a ride they are very rude. I called for a cab one time and I was waiting on them and I called back to see if they were still coming and they lady on the phone was still rude and said the driver came but I had been sitting outside and nobody showed up. Other than the lady being rude on the phone, the drivers are nice. They should at least call when there outside.

By far the worst service! Scheduled ride an hour and 15 minutes late and then drop off a half hour later. Called to get a resolution to find out I get transferred to a voicemail. Very unreliable service!

THEY almost never show up on time I mean when you give advanced noticed no point in arranging rides in advance Ive called several times HOURS in advance letting them know I need a ride for instance I call at 1 when I need a ride at 5 and they are 20 to 30 minutes late its ridiculous
