The staff was efficient and friendly. The doctor was clear in laying out the plan to move forward. When I am able I will be back to follow through

The staff and dentist are all kind, compassionate people who care for you without judgment. I appreciate the exceptional care and down to earth atmosphere. Definitely not one of the stuffy dental offices. You will not regret going there!!!

I went and had multiple cavities filled. Less than a year later, I went to a different dentist and was told the the cavities weren’t filled well and that 2 of the fillings needed to be replaced. Last night I was flossing and one of the fillings popped out. They also tried to tell my husband that he had 3 cavities that needed to be filled. He went to get a second opinion and they didn’t see anything wrong. I would not recommend going here.

I called in my appointment and was told they took my insurance and they wrote down all my information. I got there only to be told they didn’t. It states on there website they do and but it’s whatever. I start to have my X-rays done and the lady was very aggressive with putting the plastic in my mouth some part were even tender after. The cleaning process was the same, she was way to aggressive and even made a tear fall from my eye. They had me send my records from my last dentist and they hadn’t even look at them before or while I was there.

I really dislike the dentist. But the staff were really nice and seemed very dedicated to finding the best path for me moving forward.

This office has a super friendly staff. The doctor was professional and prompt. The office is clean. The front office staff figured out my primary and secondary insurance in a flash. I was extremely impressed. I walked in and read a nice color flier with a biography of the doctor which left a great first impression. My wife and daughter have already scheduled appointments with Midwest Dental based on the excellent first impression they left on me. Thanks!

Thank you Midwest Dental for a great experience! I felt the staff did a great job making me safe during this time of COVID. My temperature was taken at the door and appropriate questions asked. The hygienist is hugely funny and doesnt it make me feel bad if my flossing is not 100%. Dr. Brantman is the best dentist Ive ever been to!

The staff here are wonderful!! Very professional, gentle and empathetic. On my first visit I was nervous about a new dentist (white coat syndrome)...and it wasnt an issue...they all wear black coats!! They have certainly earned my loyalty.

Excellent dentist! Dr. Asp saw me when my regular dentist couldnt, for a painful tooth. She took time to explain the problem and offered to address it on the spot. She is very conscientious, knowledgeable, and caring. I would trust her with all of my dental care. Staff was terrific, too.

I love my dental hygienist at Midwest Dental. I always have the same person each time I visit so if there is an issue that arises, I feel comfortable talking with that person and she is more aware if a problem may have occurred since the last time I saw them. They always work around my schedule and make coming to the dentist an enjoyable experience. Wouldnt go anywhere else!!

The people at Midwest Dental Cedar Rapids are great. The office staff have always been good to work with, and Dr. Asp is extremely skilled. The extraction she did on me couldnt have gone smoother and it was completely painless -- shes very good with the anaesthetic! The same is true for the one filling shes done on me -- fast, painless, and throughout the procedure she tells you what shes doing so youll know whats going on. Shes outstanding!

On March 18, 2017 I lost a tooth in my partial. On Monday morning March 20, 2017 I went to Midwest Dental to see when I might be able to get an appointment. The ladies at the front desk immediately got me into a room and took the partial for repair. They stated that it might be done the same day. I received 2:45 PM a call that same day from Midwest Dental that my partial was fixed and available. I went there and the ladies helped me get checked out and on my way. This whole day there were nothing but smiles and great professionalism. Thank you Midwest Dental

I needed a new dentist and was happy that they scheduled me before Thanksgiving. I specifically chose this place because of Dr Lauren as it seemed she took interest in patient anxiety at the dentist. I was told when I scheduled I would get the full hour which included xray, exam, and cleaning. Before I got to the appointment I was unfortunately running behind due to a train and I lost the paperwork I filled out. I explained this and I was told by the dental hygenist that she did not understand why I was only scheduled for 70 minutes as it should be 90 minutes. Good question I thought. Not a good way to start a new patient relationship. Not happy about that. Then I was told that I may not even get my cleaning. She said with a smirk I have never even seen you before. Why on the website as well do they discuss abilities to schedule all 3? Because they knew I was not happy I then spoke to Karen who was nice but leaving there I was made to feel like they did nothing wrong and they stand by employee behavior. There was no accountability for the initial lady treating me poorly. I have never been treated like this at any dentist office. I did not feel welcome whatsoever. Everywhere else I have gone in my life (Im 38) I had staff greet me in a cordial manner. I was also told that depending on the exam they might not get to the cleaning depending on what they find. When I was told this it was not explained well and why say this up front. Obviously if there is an issue tell me then; not at the beginning especially not in tone that it seems like you are irritated with me. But before Thanksgiving when Im having problems and I was told one thing than something different and when the employee is not so nice I take issue with that. Sure they offered an examination but why stay at a place that treats you that way. Im very disappointed and am in pain during the holiday. Oh and I was told that they did not even have to come and talk to me about the issue but they did anyway as if I was suppose to feel overly grateful they went out of their way for patient satisfaction. A genuine apology would have gone a long way by the dental hygenist.

Dr. Mazzocco and his staff are top notch. I have been going to his office for over 20 years. They are very caring and gentle.

I have been coming here twice a year since I could start dental care as a young child and I can honestly say I have zero complaints to date.The staff at Midwest Dental in Cedar Rapids are so wonderful, you will be looking forward to coming in for a teeth cleaning or any other dental work you may be in need of.Question for you: Can you say I look forward to going to the dentist? If not, you might want to consider coming here because as dumb as it may sound, I can honestly say that I look forward to going to my dentist.
