Best nails i’ve ever had. the line art is so precise and looks just like the reference picture i showed the nail artist

The worst pedicure I’ve ever gotten. Completely rushed. No lotion no massage and my gel polish looks crusty and thick. 55$ For a basic gel pedicure. Unbelievable. Will never go back. Hanna was very rough and hated her job as much as I hated her doing my toes. A waste of 55$ because now I have to go get them done somewhere else.

Theyre awesome at dip manicures, I usually can get a month out of them! But their pedicures are subpar. They never seem to do a super good job. the painting is meh and the actual service is meh, but amazing dip manis!

Ive been going here for the past 4 months, I see An, and love it. Its very clean and up to date. Everyone is friendly and tons of color options. An will either do whatever I want on my nails or give me suggestions and they always come out beautiful! They do tend to get busy so its best to make an appt!

My go to place for nails. I usually get gel polish on my nails and they are very accommodating with any color combo or design. Nails last about 2-3 weeks. Ive gotten dip as well and it lasts even longer. Pedicure tubs are super clean & always have a new liner for each patron. Many of their gel polishes also come with a matching regular polish if you want to match your pedicure with your manicure.

CLEAN!!! Love this place. They are very clean and use plastic inserts in their pedi tubs and use brand new buffer/file and autoclaved instruments! The 🦵massage is always long and I feel as though I get my $$ worth!

This is by far one of my favorite salons, they have such great staff and ever since Covid has been so considerate on the safety of their staff and clients . The weekends been getting a little bit busy but they really are efficient on making sure they take care of everyone. Definitely book an appointment if you want to be seen on time. If not be patience, they’re awesome!

Some people are RUDE! Pricey but they work very well.

I love this place. I always get my nails and eyebrows done by Lilly. She is AMAZING! She was one of the first people I met when I moved here. We have such good conversations when she does my nails. I started with tips and now I get the dip. My nails have grown so much. I recommend if you are in town to try them out. 😊😊

This is by far the BEST nail salon that I have ever been to. The staff are courteous, attentive and professional. The salon is very clean and they are compliant and diligent with all of the sanitation rules and regulations with Covid-19. I love this place!

This place is amazing Everyone is always really friendly its super nice environment the nails always come out looking great its one of the nicest places but yet still takes walk-ins depending on when you go I recommend getting a appointment because people like to come after work and on the weekends but if youre coming for like lunch like I did today its usually okay to just walk in!

As soon as we walked in the door the very rude lady at the counter asks what we want and then proceeds to say “we’re kinda busy right now come back later”Umm no we’ll go somewhere else entirely.

My favorite place to go for dip manicures and gel pedicures. Great service, clean location, and good prices. I highly recommend Steven for dip manicures! He makes sure every nail is evenly shaped and just the way I like it. I travel 30 minutes to get there every 3 weeks!

First time & no appointment. I was greeted immediately, that’s always a good sign! I told her I wanted a gel manicure & regular pedicure & within 5 minutes Violet was taking me to a chair. That’s 2boxes checked:-) she was friendly and took the time to make sure I liked the color for my toes...which I didn’t so, I changed it! Easy breezy no attitude! And the foot & calf massage she gave was FOREVER!! Amazing and I loved it! overall I had an excellent experience and highly recommend LUX Nails in Northborough 🥳

Deena is the best! She takes her time and really cares about doing her best work. I always ask for her because she always makes my nails look amazing. (I get a gel manicure on natural nails)

I walked in without an appointment on a Sunday for a pedicure and gel manicure. The staff were prompt once I walked through the door and I was seated within 5 minutes. Vivian did a wonderful job with both services, she was very attentive and professional. I will certainly be back! Thank you Vivian!

So Im giving this a three because my finished product was nice. Ive been coming here recently because I switched jobs and this place is very convenient. Ive been here several times now and Im not very impressed. Today the manicurist was particularly rough. I had to ask her to be more gentle because she was actually hurting me which Ive never experienced. I have gotten my nails done every two weeks for years. She also didnt even do anything to my cuticles. At the very end I had to ask her to remove the nail polish off my skin all over my fingers because it looked like a kid had dripped it on my fingers. Also when she was removing my nail polish she had gotten the shavings all over her hair and I had it all over my clothing. She was just very messy and rough and not polite my previous experiences here have just been that the manicurist was more aggressive than I was accustomed to and not very friendly staff. I literally only go here for convenience and so far my nails look decent.

I have been going to Lux nails since they opened. I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Mai (Mary) does my nail dip, pedicures and eyebrows, never leaving dissatisfied. The salon is always clean and the staff very accommodating. With being an active duty military family we move every 3 to 4 years so, for the first year of us living in the area, I had my share of not so good places in town. So happy to find this gem. The only downfalls are that tips can not be paid on a credit card and they do not offer discounts other then student discounts.

I have been here a few times. Today I decided to try dip on my nails for the first time. I usually get gel. My pedicure was good however my manicure was disastrous. First didnt pushed my cuticles back or give me any type of massage. Then my nails were cut down too short. My nails look horrible. And the girl just kept saying they will grow back and I can fix them next time. I will never be back.

Service is lacking for sure. It’s a very busy location and yes it looks nicer than most but the technicians are hit or miss. Some of them are wonderful but others are apathetic and don’t really listen to your requests that well. They also could do a better job of managing walk ins.

I gave 4 stars because i waited for 45 minutes. The service is 5 star quality but the long wait made it 4 stars. But still my new favorite salon.

Worst manicure ever!!! I get my gels done every 2 weeks and decided to try lux nails. We made appointments and then sat and waited while walk ins were taken before us. They had a good color selection with the new OPI colors but they dont use OPI base and top coat. My nails were all different lengths and shapes and the color started to turn yellow within a few days. I went back to get it fixed and they were very rude to me! DO NOT GO HERE

I love that they do the dip gel nails. Its hard to find a nail salon that knows what they are doing. My only suggestion would be if someone makes an appointment and they are very busy to let the customer know ahead of time. Ive had to wait after making an appointment mote than 15 minutes this would reduce frustration had they been upfront..

The place is beautiful and employees are nice. However, I got a gel manicure and three days later it was already chipping. :( I’m upset because this was the manicure I chose for my engagement pictures.

I decided to get my nails done for the first time in 2 years today and tried out Lux nails. First off, the salon is gorgeous inside and really clean. I was talking to one of the gentleman (I think he was the owner) about getting a pedicure and acrylics and he told me they do the dip powder nails. Because I work in a restaurant he thought they would be good for me since the color wouldnt chip or fade and they would add strength to my nails. His daughter (?) was with him and she helped me pick out my color for those. She was adorable and you could tell she was excited to be helping out😊 I got my pedicure first and it was awesome. They offered me a glass of sangria or a mimosa to enjoy and they really took the time to make sure I was relaxed. I was a little nervous about getting my pedicure, since the last one I had somewhere else was so awful, but my feet and toes look amazing! After my pedicure, I got my dip power nails. Lily was the technician and she was incredible! Seriously... when you go ask for Lily. I had so much fun chatting with her. It was also pretty neat to get the powder nails. They look and feel amazing!! They are so much lighter than acrylic... almost natural feeling, but just as strong as acrylics would be. They were a lot quicker to do too!! I almost never ever leave reviews but I had such an outstanding experience at Lux, I had to share. Cant wait for the next time I go!!!

Horrible manicure. I filed them prior to going in but they still needed to be filed so they were all one length. The girl barely touched my nails with the file and there were two nails that were so much longer than the others and I had to ask three times for her to file them. She barely cut my cuticles. Needless to say I won’t be going back.

Terrible customer service. Their employees are harsh and rough on your nails and hands! One employee left acetone solution on my nails for over 40 minutes, which hurt the nail and surrounding skin. A second employee doing the manicure was blatantly rude, and did such a poor job that I had to go home, scrape the polish off my nails, and cut them short. My nails have never felt worse.
