**EDITED**The shop owner himself reached out to understand the issues better and come to an understanding. He understood my disappointment and made sure i understood this was not the norm and it would not happen again. This speaks volumes for a shop to reach out and make sure I was happy with their service.I’ve wrenched on cars for a living and as a hobby for years. I replaced my own tie rods and needed to have the car aligned. I don’t have the rack for that and needed to a shop that would do it. This business came highly rated. I noticed after I picked the car up, that the steering would not turn as sharp as I knew it should. The next weekend, I got under the car to see that they never adjusted the tie rod boots and just left them twisted like crazy. This not only damages the boots but then they will rip and let dirt in. This then ruins the brand new joints. That is a basic knowledge item for wrenching on cars. This is why behave low trust for most shops. They did a poor job on a basic service. I made sure to take pictures of it all to document it.

We took our 2008 Acura RDX here with multiple problems: multiple warning lights, no heat, brake job needed rear. A full oil change, complete rear brakes & rotors, and HVAC control motor & a brake light switch replaced. The work was completed in a week for a fair price. I feel comfortable knowing this is an honest business with competent mechanics.

The service was great!! Got right in to check the tires. Frendly and they didnt charge me a thing. My family brings all of our cars here for servicing. Rec ommend you do the same.

I read all the reviews on Google about this business. I read that they handle all electrical issues no matter how intricate or complex they may be. It says their technicians are highly trained and capable of ANY ELECTRICAL REPAIR. Read it for yourself under services on their website. This is simply NOT TRUE. They diagnosed my Cadillac DeVille by basically looking at it, determining they could NOT find the problem with what was draining my battery and charging me $97.00. POS...They said I should take it to Russell Brothers. Yes, I should have done that to begin with but I trusted their website. If I owned a shop like this and promised the customer I could repair anything, Id honor it or the diagnostic would be complimentary. This is bad business even after it took them 5 days to diagnose it. I wouldnt recommend this place. Ill bet they make a fortune on diagnosing problems they arent mechanically capable of fixing.

My truck engine decided it didnt want to live anymore. I had a horrible rod knock that wasnt able to be fixed. I decided to replace the engine. Not only did they replace it, but they knocked it completely out of the park! Yes, it was expensive but a lot cheaper than buying a new truck. I like my old truck and now like it even more! These guys are great. They are fast, professional, and fair in their pricing. In addition, they are candid with the urgency of repairs so you know what you can put off for a few months, and what you need to repair soon. They have great ethics, and will take care of things if a part they supplied breaks. You know this place is doing something right since they are always swamped with work!

This first visit determined that this shop would be THE repair shop that we would be using despite the fact that we travel 50 miles from Tennessee to get there. Since that first visit, we have had several repairs done on our vehicles. All work has been done accurately in a timely way and at reasonable cost. On top of that, they always have time to answer any questions you might have. If you need auto repairs, we highly recommend going to Dennis Johnson Auto Repair Center. We believe that you will be just as satisfied as we have been.

Extremely pleased after my first visit. I do most of my own work, tend to be picky about repairs done by others, and often provide my own parts for installation. Dennis and Garry were very friendly and willing to work with me. Their work on my car was excellent, priced right and they made me aware of several very subtle things they noticed that most shops normally never mention. I am satisfied and will be back for more work in the future. BTW, please note that their shop hours as of 2013 are M-F 7:30-5 and not 7-6 as their website notes.

Ive had work done on 2 vehicles with Dennis Johnson, ranging from a 30 minute job to a clutch replacement. These guys are always very friendly, very informative, and have great customer service. Theyve performed repairs within the timeframe they estimated, and at or below the cost they quoted. Highly recommend them for all your auto repair needs.

He did more damage than good. Had my car put into his shop for a standard time up, changing out a rim, and to fix a blinker, and ended up having him take apart the front axle to look at something which wasnt something I asked him to do. He broke some things including the rack and pinion from trying to over tighten it, a control arm for one of the tires, tried to say the coolant intake was cracked wide open, but it wasnt, and didnt even change the oil filter or anything. Just dumped out the oil and refilled it. He made me pay for all the damages he did, including labor, replacement parts, and the work he didnt even do costing over $1000. Hes not a good man, but just a thief. I would never recommend him. He needs to have his certificate revoked!

Same price as a car dealership. They put your car on diagnostic machine to find problem and charge for it. $60 Most Good Mechanic Shops charges you for the repair not for finding the problem.

Just got back our Toyota Corolla, had front brakes put on in spring and they developed a nasty squeal at low speeds and starting out. Dennis Johnsons Auto Repair put on all new rotors and pads as well as cleaned and adjusted the back brakes, all at no charge. My husband thanked they for standing behind their work and making it right! Would definitely recommend to any one needing service!

I wish I got that honest work and was taken care of that everyone else seem to had. They absolutely wasted my time and money getting my Honda Civic towed to their and back to my house after them saying they could take care of me. Shady, lazy, dishonest people work here. Terrible. Took 2 weeks to hear whats wrong with my car and after calling I was told they may not have time to work on it. We agreed on the work that needed to be done but when the car was running and I picked it up I was told not only that those things werent done, but that my brakes and power steering didnt work and bring it back after I got some wiring fixed. The reason I took it to them was to put in a fuel pump. The fuel pump wasnt coming on with the key. They ran another ground to make the pump come on but after getting it from the wiring shop I found block off plates that they were supposed to install still laying IN THE CAR, 8 HEAT SHIELDS FOR EACH PLUG WIRE AND THEY ONLY INSTALLED 7 BECAUSE ONE WAS STILL IN THE BAG. To top it all off when I get it from the wiring shop I DROVE THE CAR HOME WITH NO PROBLEMS, BRAKES AND POWER STEERING WORKED FINE BUT I LOOKED UNDER THE REAREND AND THEY DIDNT PUT THE VENT TUBE THAT RUNS TO THE FUEL TANK BACK, THEY DIDNT PUT MY LOCKING GAS CAP BACK ON, AND THEY LEFT 2 BOLTS OUT OF THE REAR SWAY BAR!! STAY CLEAR OF THIS SHOP I WAS REFERRED BUT NEVER AGAIN! TOOK A MONTH FOR REPAIRS AND THEY DID ONLY HALF OF WHAT i PAID FOR, PLUS THEY LIED TO GET MORE WORK....
