The most worst apartment management and very careless and poor maintenance. The only they are good at it is collecting money from residents . their services and apartment environment is cigar. They show you nice pool and show room when you are tour but the pool is not even working, don’t be fool with their lies. It’s very expensive and if you trying to negotiate nice way with them when you do your lease they will give you bad treatment and they never think little about people.Very bad apartment I can’t wait to finish my lease . I never recommend anyone. The price very on top of this. fake review here but the true is they dont even listen you when you are asking them nicely to negotiate lease price, they treat you like trash and i know it who moved out how they treated them. no refund your down payment you deep cleaned or not even if you remodel!

I lived at Whispering Cedars for a year and really enjoyed it! I would recommend getting a unit with a washer because some of the washers in the laundromat made my clothes smell off. The office staff were kind and answered questions quickly. I only moved because I was able to rent a house.

I loved living here, the environment here was charming. The manager and her staff are very helpful, they also do family events here from time to time. The apartment was very well cleaned when I moved in, everything looked new in the apartment. After moving out i asked the manager to give me the contacts for the cleaning company and carpet cleaners so we can contact them directly. the cleaning company did a very good job and when i moved out i got my deposit back. Great place to live.

This place has the nicest staff...Maintenance always got things done right away and the residents were so kind, and parking was always open for guestsI enjoyed living there!!

They lost paperwork that we signed or provided multiple times (we had multiple cases where they requested a document that we had already provided them and had proof of providing them in writing since we sent it to them via email; as one example, when my significant other moved in with me, they asked for an updated insurance policy with his name on it; I sent it to them and a day or two later was asked for it again despite having it already) and they charged exorbitant move-out cleaning fees (over $300; very close to the exact amount of their non-pet deposit) based on a few things we missed cleaning that would have taken less than an hour of cleaning ($185 for general cleaning, the rest for carpet cleaning; there was a small amount of grime in our microwave vent that we couldnt see from the ground and so missed cleaning up, a few crumbs in one small spot on the non-carpeted floor and some dirt accumulation at the base of one window, and a couple of crumbs in one cabinet). The best part is that they actually sent us pictures of this and said it warranted the $185 cleaning fee. Additionally, we went to the office to talk to them about why they were trying to increase our rent to the seemingly same amount as they would charge for a full 700 sq ft apartment when we had one of the only two units on the property that was a reduced size (652 sq ft). When we asked, they asked if we were sure that was the size of our apartment. The management staff had changed so many times since we moved in that they werent even aware of this discrepancy in their own units. Im sure they got a nice surprise when they compared our unit after we moved out to the 700 sq ft one they were using as an office.We highly do not recommend this property as they do not respect their tenants upon move out (they will most certainly keep all of your deposit and more). As we were assured that this was overall Weidner policy (their response to our asking why they didnt find a cheaper company that would respect their tenants budgets: We did reached out to several companies for the cleaning, most of the apartment cleaning companies charge $200- $400 at move out. We also have sister properties that use different companies and so far the one we end it up using is the cheapest), we also do not recommend any of their other properties. Apparently even very small amounts of cleaning are not possible to do in house and it would seem they pay their contracted cleaner at least $185/hr.

Lived here for 2 years. Lisa is a diamond in the rough here.There is no service outside of regular business hours, yes including lock-outs and emergencies. The phone number takes you to a call center that doesnt do anything but leave a note for the front desk.Dont bother registering your car with them, they will tow long time residents in under an hour.We were still looking to renew the lease for a third year, the place itself isnt bad at all. That was until the front desk lied about being available to hold a key after a long trip my family went on. We confronted them about why they werent there when they said they would be and we got the response we like to enjoy our time offThere are many options in the area. Some better some worse.12/17: Final update, other updates removed. Whispering cedars came through with the info we requested. But continue to lie about the key. Thats just what you get when you deal with this place.

Lisa is absolutely wonderful! These apartments are so clean and lovely, such a great place to live! Lisa and the other employees are so kind and I fully believe they genuinely care for the people. They go above and beyond to make these apartments feel like come, keep it clean and do everything they can to help with what they can! Lisa in particular has always been of great help to me and I fully appreciate what she does!Highly recommend!!

Lisa is absolutely amazing! Super efficient, kind and assisted me with all of my questions and overall just an outstanding worker! She goes out of her way (along with other staff members) to make me feel welcomed, at home and special! The apartment is in great condition, clean and has a homey feel. Love, love, LOVE Whispering Cedars! Not only are the ladies in the office SUPER helpful, but they’ve always gone the extra mile to make me feel special, and that they genuinely care! I’ve seen the manager helping elderly/disabled residents with groceries/items from cars, accompanying them to their home! Heck! They have even been here before dawn to hand out breakfast on the go to us, with delicious sandwiches and hot coffee! Not only is customer service top notch, but I am in love with my home (inside and out). The apartments were remodeled and have beautiful interiors, and for the area, the price is comparable and well worth it!!

We were amazed of how caring and helpful the staff were at this community. Lisa at the office was so great and helpful. She made us feel like we were at home already. She accommodated are every need answered all of questions and always kept a positive attitude. As well as Alisa who was filling in for someone on Vacation and training at the same time. They were so much help to our family. Made us feel like family! They were everything I always wish staff would be like at my past residence. That’s why we made our decision in making Whispering Cedars our home. It doesn’t hurt they’re affordable and Have large floor plans. They also have lots of parking spaces 3 pools 2 outdoor 1 indoor and fitness center and because I have a 3yr old a playground. We were blessed to make this place our home for the next 10months thank the Lord!

When I walked into Whispering Cedars office I was immediately warmly greeted. We discussed what I was looking for, what my budget was. I was given options of location within the complex, shown all the amenities. All in all a very pleasant experience. Pleasant enough that I went back and rented a lovely 1 bedroom apartment in the perfect location for my husband and myself. We are looking forward to moving in, using the gym and pools and moving into the next phase of our lives. Whispering Cedars appears to be the best place for our new beginning.

I am currently an international student for the University of Washington, and this place is spectacular! Especially the staff, I had so many questions coming in but the manger was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions! The apartments are at a great location and then environment is friendly and wonderful!

Ahhh, Whispering Cedars...

The leasing office left me a voicemail saying they do not accept dogs, when by Washington state law an apartment cannot deny residency to emotional support animals. They also did not disclose this, or ask me if my dogs are emotional support animals.

We love living here especially because Lisa in the office is Fantastic and always is takes care of any matter. You catch her outside picking up and waving with a big smile. Thank you Lisa for being great to us!!

We have been here for over 5 years and it’s been great! Management is very friendly and very quick to accommodate. The maintenance team also works hard around the property to make sure the residents are happy and comfortable.

The staff is amazing and go above and beyond, absolutely exceptional team of individuals who are prompt, professional, courteous and always willing to go the extra mile.The apartment itself is very clean with a great use of space and nice appliances.Overall very beautiful place to call home!!!

I almost turn a year leaving at Whispering Cedars. Good location, very convenient, parking ride, hospital and grocery shops with walking distance. Apartments are kept clean and in good condition. The staff at the office are helpful and friendly.

Very nice place. However, the office needs to be more firm when it comes to the violations committed by some residents. The manager is really nice and the staff are helpful, though. Overall, Id recommend this complex to live in if youre looking for clean, cozy, and beautiful appartments and community.

Small expensive old apartments. Not dog friendly even though it says so on their website. Just cats are allowed. Horrible parking. Be careful of getting your car towed if you dont have a parking permit.Rude maintenance staff that will go and tell the manager every little thing they see. Random notices on the door all the time. Not enough gate pass for tenants.The only good things about this place is that its quiet at night, gated and close to the freeway.There are better apartments in the area so I suggest looking elsewhere.

I have been leaving at this apartments complex for a year. To be a big apartment complex the apartments and premises are always clean. It is a safe place to leave. The staff are helpful and friendly.

I love that the parking is free, but that I have the opportunity to purchase reserved parking if I decide I want it. Its also really comforting knowing that they have a courtesy patrol with Blue Line Security at nights for when my girlfriend gets home late from work..

Leasing staff here are as kind as they are helpful, from friendly greetings in the summer time to offering hot cocoa and shoveling services in the winter. The staff have always wanted to help make for the best community.

I love how maintenance helps me out with a problem within 24 hours and the main office is great at emailing me back when I have a quick question . Only thing I would complain about is the guest parking lot is always full with the same cars(with no parking pass) every day/night to where there’s never any parking for my guests. I just wish they’d enforce towing more is all.

By far this place has the best customer service! I have called other places and only had very few that provided with good customer service. So hard to find a good place especially coming from another state and all you really want is to get all the information you need since I’m unable to do the tour in person. I spoke with Elexys and she was very accommodating answering all of my questions. There were other ones I’ve called that were also very nice over the phone but I felt like they weren’t interested giving all the information when asking so much questions---I mean, isn’t right for us to ask to weigh our options? I would say that because of Elexys great customer service, I did not hesitate to have this place as my # 1 choice when I move in Washington. Although, I am still scouting at other places---mainly because of location for work but other than that…Whispering Cedars did not disappoint me over the phone! Great Staff. Great Customer service attracts people. The only reason I gave 4 Stars because I dont want to sound like I got everything I needed, Im still waiting on my decision and looking forward to that 1 start once I move-in and that all boils down to the maintenance and the place :)

Ive lived here for the last two years now and Ive loved it.The leasing staff is always friendly and helpful, and willing to work with you (within reason) should anything come up as well!The maintenance team (not just because Im also a part of it, just at a different job site) is always prompt and does a good job, usually within a day of receiving the order unless new parts need to be shipped in.Living at a Weidner property for so long was part of why I chose to pursue a career with them, due to the professionalism constantly shown, and the excellence of the quality of work by both the staff and management at Whispering Cedars.If its affordable for you, I strongly recommend living here. The ammenties offered and the very central location are also a huge plus!

I just moved from Louisiana and the staff was very helpful. They sat down with me and my roommate and walked us through the application. They took the time to explain everything in detail. Elexys and Luda are very kind and we look forward to moving in.

I used to live here and the management was amazing. I would consider living here again for sure. Management was friendly and polite, the units are large and actually pretty nice. Gated community and might live here again one day.

The manager and her staff were very helpful to my nephew. Being from another country, they made me feel at ease and they gave me a lot of information that my nephew could find very useful.

Horrible there is black mold all over the windows and bathroom from floor to ceiling I have a newborn totally regret this disgusting place cant wait to leave! Total RIP OFF this is more of a studio than an actual apartment...seems great at first and the gated community is garbage they towed MY CAR because my permit fell in my car and the stupid security didnt even bother to look up my plates 500 dollars later I got my car back for parking in my own spot. The office always tells you to use ur renters insurance or call security who never picks up this place is total TRASH

We toured Whispering Cedars yesterday. As we werent in love with the apartment home, there were parts we liked. i.e walk-in closet!Futhermore, Elexys was our tour guide and was nothing short of 5 star quality customer service. We appreciate all the information given in a concise fashion, along with showing us a model home.

Do not move here. Management has been unresponsive to SEVERAL work orders detailing an animal/pest problem which occupies the room and above bedroom ceiling. Thus far they have refused to trim tree which creates land bridge or investigate this issue. They have closed my work order and told me there is no problem. Animals can be heard fighting and scratching on the ceiling. Unfortunately I will probably need to escalate with the city.

Its a decent apartment complex. everyone here seems to be friendly. the apartment employees will take care of your problems quickly.Things need upgrades. The gym could use an upgrade. The apartment across the street renovated their gym and its pretty nice. I wouldnt have to go to LA Fitness if my home gym looked like that. Sliding glass door at the indoor pool doesnt open.A billion dollar company owns whispering cedars and theyre charging rent higher than the other apartments near by. Upgrades are needed!

Never expect that you will get your deposit back. Thats my advice to anyone one considering to move in except there is a management in that complex

The worst place Ive ever lived. They say everyone has a parking spot but in reality you dont, over flow lot is always filled and they will tow your car even if you have the tenant visor mirror up, leaving you to pay 350 dollars to get your car out of the lot, but they wont reemburse you.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPLEX! They are money hungry, charge rents which are way beyond what can be justified based on the quality, slow to repair defective appliances, etc.
