This dentist is amazing! My whole family comes here. Tomi did such a good job taking care of mine and my sons teeth. I usually don’t like coming to the dentist but Tomi did such an awesome job on cleaning my teeth. I will never go anywhere else. Dr. Morrison did amazing on job on my crown. It was off for almost 5 years and he replaced it for me and made the process so easy for me. Thank you Friendly Smiles.

These Dentists should be ashamed of themselves to allow someone to spend over 8,000 dollars for dental work knowing that person had a tooth with the potential of needing a root canal. Then the patient is in such pain and is seen by two different Dentists in this office and no attempt was even initiated to do an x-ray; give antibiotics or pain medicine. We then had to see another dentist to be told he had severe nerve pain and prescribed him what should of been prescribed by your office. Such~ poor bedside manner~ and no compassion for your patient. Thanks, a lot for wasting my money and making my loved one withstand the excruciating dental pain.I do not advise anyone get dental work done at Friendly smiles. Period!!!!

I cannot speak highly enough of this dental practice! They took full COVID precautions, which put my nerves at ease. My teeth have not been well cared for during the pandemic, but the dentist was kind in evaluating my neglected gums. Lori, my hygienist, took the greatest of care in restoring my dental health and calmed my historic anxiety about visiting the dentist. The whole place took great care of me!

Friendly Smiles never ceases to take care of their customers!! As a life-long client, I’m used to the highest comfort and quality during my visits. I feel safe attending appointments during the recent challenges of COVID-19. They walk you through their new sanitation policies including required masks, temperature checks and queuing in the car to avoid lobby crowding. Recently, I found myself late to multiple appointments and Jessica at the front desk always found a solution for me. Thank you Jessica, Dr. Foley, Dr. Johnson and Ashley for keeping my smile bright!

In the past, the thought of going to a dentists office always gave me anxiety in abundance. However, this is certainly no longer the case when I visit Dr. Smileys (Friendly Smiles) dental care office on North Dale Mabry Highway. From check in to check out and everything in between my experiences have always been very pleasant and, for the most part, truly painless. Everybody who works there is extremely competent in their particular field and they are all very caring and concerned with your needs. From Dr. Smiley the extraordinarily skilled dentist, to Nicole the lightest touch hygienist Ive ever had deep clean my teeth, to Beth the wonderful and personable person who checked me out, and others Ive met there along the way, my experiences have always been as wonderful an occurrence as one could hope for in a dentists office. Thank you Friendly Smiles... you always put a big smile on my face throughout my office visits with you.

Great place. Everyone was so welcome. I am from out of town. I had 2 wisdom teeth removed before traveling to Florida. I ended up getting dry socket, which was very painful. I called them, they got me right in. Dr Johnson was amazing really made me feel comfortable, and the office manager Mary was a big help and very welcoming. Definitely recommend this office. I was in so much relief when I left. Thank you Friendly Smiles for being very humble such a great help.

I have been going to Dr Smiles since 1988. I have never had a bad experience. I got my invisalign with Dr Smiles. They have always been very friendly and and polite. They do cater to cowerds. I live over an hour away and still drive to the Lutz office to get my teeth attended to. The Lutz office is top.

I was that guy that didnt go to the dentist for about a 7 year stretch. I had some bad experiences and frankly was very anxious about seeing another dentist. Then I was recommended to try Friendly Smiles. Now Im that guy who has a cleaning every 3 months. Im grateful for the entire staff. Beth on the front end, Charlie who makes the visit very comfortable, and Roel who is the best hygenist Ive ever had are 5 star people. Highly recommend Friendly Smiles!

I wish I could give negative stars. I had a horrible experience here. They told me I had gum disease and needed to have a deep cleaning done which would cost $700 out of pocket. They would not even do a basic cleaning which is all I wanted done. So I wasted two hours of my day.I went to have a second opinion and the clinic I went to said I do not have gum disease at all and do not need a deep cleaning.If you think about it logically, Friendy Smiles will accept most (if not all) insurances out there to get customers in the door. So to makeup for the really low paying insurances they tell all new customers that they need a deep cleaning. Deep cleanings are an out of pocket expense for a patient so they can make more money.If you want a clinic that is dishonest and only cares about making money then this is your place. I dont recommend to anyone.

I came to this dentist after being told by my orthodontist I was going to need a waiver before he could allow me to have braces. I went in for my new patient exam and was told I had multiple cavities and gum issues and would need deep cleanings. The bill was astronomical and they wouldn’t sign the waiver until the work was completed. I decided to goto a different office for a second opinion in which I found I had ZERO cavities and my gums were in great shape and would need just a routine cleaning. I find it so unprofessional and disgusting this office would try and take advantage because they knew I needed that form signed.After reading the other reviews I realized they have done this to other people as well! It’s ridiculous.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Diane Johnsons for 20 years. My wife and kids all go to her. I would recommend her to anyone, but also, whenever I go for cleanings or have had to see a different dentist, the experience there is always professional and excellent. Just like the name says, the staff is very friendly, caring and helpful. The dentists are very concerned about the patients comfort and quality of their work. I will continue to go back there with confidence and about as much enjoyment as a person can have for going to the dentist.

My wife and I have been driving 50 miles to Friendly Smiles for 15 years. Needed a dentist once in Minnesota and confirmed we have the best service in the country. Now my two married daughters travel that far because of the service. If you dont like friendly smiles you havent been been to the others yet.

I have been seeing Dr. Johnson for over 10 years and she is wonderful. Ive been seeing Lorena my hygienist just as long and I adore her too! They are kind, thorough, and the prices are fair. I highly recommend both of them and Friendly Smiles!

This isnt a review from my experience as I have not been to the money sucking dentist in some time. However, when my girlfriend called about getting some work done, she was laughed at by the woman on the phone when she said she couldnt afford a $520 price tag.Last time she had an operation here I remember the staff being rude then as well.I recommend the owners of this establishment seriously conduct a hospitality course with the staff or otherwise they will lose business.You do not laugh at someone when they cant afford a pricey operation, you begin suggesting alternative options to help them.

Horrible service! 1 1/2 hours into my appt and still haven’t seen the doctor. Literally spent 40 mins just sitting in the chair waiting after my cleaning. What’s the point of having an appt or even coming if I’m not going to see the doctor. Had to get up and leave and still never saw the doctor. I can clean my teeth myself at home. The point of coming to a dentist is to actually SEE the dentist!! Just terrible overall.

The staff are always very friendly and the doctors are great. Never have a problem getting an appointment.

Doctors where very rude when they asked questions. I had to wait about 20 min in the waiting room. Were not very clear when they where explaining what was wrong with my teeth. They didnt explain what I was paying for. Overall I did not have a good experience here. I dont suggest this place to anyone
