Darren is super responsive and is always willing to help. The people around us for the most part are very quiet, and I have no complaints about them. Maintenance normally shows up at a decent time after weve submitted a request. Only been here a little over a month and the experience hasnt been terrible.

Sloane worked super hard to make sure everything was in order and on time for move in!EDIT: The apartment was in no way ready for someone to move in, and they also did not hold up their end. Sloane is no longer at this office. It took them 4 months to give me my deposits back. The apartment was disgusting when I moved in, I had to clean it on my own. The. they proceeded to charge me when I moved out.

I’ve been apartment hunting for a couple weeks after moving here from Houston. Oak Creek fit my budget and it has stores relatively close by (Walmart,Academy,Costco). Although I did hope they could have shown me a specific floor plan but due to COVID restrictions they couldn’t. Darren was helpful giving me information regarding the apartments as well as he did show me a similar floor plan and I got a good home feeling when checking it out. Thanks Darren!

They were supposed to put a new outlet for refrigerator and said they did But I still don’t have no where to plug refrigerator because they took out breaker plug in breaker box,SO I HAVE REFRIGERATOR PLUGGED IN LIVING ROOM😤

Great customer service. I had to relocate to Lubbock quickly and needed an apartment fast. It only took 5 days to get approved and be able to move in. Sloam was amazingly helpful. My leasing experience was great from the very beginning. They all gave me a lot of information and instructions and filled me in with emails and pictures of the units. The process was so quick I couldn’t believe it. The prices are fair and I really recommend this area to people seeking an apartment.

I like the model a lot and look forward to calling this place my new home. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! STAFF IS EXTREMELY RUDE. CORPORATE DOESNT SEEM TO CARE. IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ANYTHING RESOLVED. I WAS GIVEN A NOTICE TO VACATE DUE TO A DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SITUATION I HAD ALREADY TRIED TO SOLVE BY PUTTING A PROTECTION ORDER IN PLACE A MONTH PRIOR TO BEING ASKED TO VACATE. NOT ONLY DID THEY GIVE ME 3 VIOLATIONS IN 1 NIGHT FOR THE SAME SITUATION THEY ONLY GAVE ME 2 DAYS TO MOVE OUT. THE VIOLATIONS WERE FOR ME HAVING A TENANT THATS NOT ON THE LEASE. I EXPLAINED THAT I DIDNT WANT HIM THERE THATS WHY THE PROTECTION ORDER WAS IN PLACE TO KEEP HIM AWAY. ANOTHER VIOLATION FOR BEING LOUD AND DISTURBING OTHERS BUT I MEAN IF YOU WERE IN A DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SITUATION AND SOMEONE WHO ISNT SUPPOSED TO BE THERE SHOWS UP ATTACKING YOU, YOU WOULD ALSO BE LOUD. THE 3 VIOLATION WAS FOR AN ALTERCATION WHICH MY ABUSER HAD WITH A NEIGHBOR WHO CAME TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON. SO EVEN THOUGH THEY KNEW IT WAS A DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SITUATION AND I HAD A PROTECTION ORDER IN PLACE THEY STILL GAVE ME NO CHANCE TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE MAYBE RELOCATE. THEY WERE NO HELP INSTEAD I WAS ASKED TO LEAVE WITH 2 DAYS TO MOVE. WHEN I CALLED THE NEXT DAY THEY WERE SO RUDE AND SAID NO YOU HAVE TO GET OUT OR WE WILL FILE FOR EVICTION. I HAD JUST PAID RENT IN FULL WAS NOT REFUNDED ANY MONEY FOR THAT AND STILL CHARGED FOR 3 MONTHS AFTER I WAS PUT OUT. WITH A BALANCE OVER $3000. THEY OBVIOUSLY DISCRIMINATE AGAINST VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. THEY ARE STICKING TO THEM SUPPOSABLY NOT KNOWING I HAD PROBLEMS OR A PROTECTION ORDER IN PLACE.BUT THE NOTICE TO VACATE AND VIOLATIONS EVEN STATES DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. SMH. AFTER SEVERAL PHONE CALLS AND EMAILS AND HOURS OF TRYING TO DISPUTE THIS WHOLE SITUATION IM STILL BEING CHARGED $1000 WHICH THEY SAY IS A COURTESY OF THEM REDUCING WHAT I OWE FOR DAMAGES THAT MY ABUSER MADE. LIKE A BROKEN WINDOW FROM HIM TRYING TO COME IN AND HOLES IN THE WALL FROM THE NIGHT OF THE ALTERCATION. I FEEL LIKE THEY SHOULD HAVE TOOK THE RENT THAT I HAD JUST PAID IN FULL PRORATED IT FOR THE 8 DAYS THEY LET ME STAY IN NOV. THEN ADD THE REST TOWARDS THE 1000 AND REALLY I SHOULDNT HAVE EVEN HAD ANY CHARGES. WE HAVE RIGHTS TOO. IT DOES SAY A TENANT DEALING WITH DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SHOULD BE ABLE TO RELOCATE OR BREAK THE LEASE WITHOUT ANY CHARGES. WHICH I WAS NEVER GIVEN THE OPTION FOR EITHER. HAD THEY TRIED TO HEAR ME OUT AND NOT BE RUDE WE COULDVE FIXED THIS SITUATION. MY ABUSER ENDED UP IN JAIL THAT NIGHT FOR HALF A YEAR SO I WOULDNT HAVE HAD ANY FURTHER ISSUES WITH HIM. HE VIOLATED THAT PROTECTION ORDER. NOW THEY ARE MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO GET IN ANYWHERE BECAUSE THIS IS AFFECTING MY RENTAL HISTORY. ITS NOT LIKE I HADNT TOOK THE STEPS TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. I WANTED TO AVOID ALL OF THIS WHICH IS WHY I PUT IN A PROTECTION ORDER IN THE FIRST PLACE I DIDNT WANT HIM AROUND. MAYBE THEY HAVE NEVER GONE THROUGH A DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SITUATION BUT THEY COULD HAVE BEEN MORE UNDERSTANDING. NEVER HAD SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE AND IVE RENTED SEVERAL PROPERTIES WITH MANY OTHER COMPANIES LIKE MINNIX AND GRASSANO MANAGEMENT. THIS BY FAR WAS THE WORST AND THE RUDEST COMPANY TO DEAL WITH ALL THE WAY UP TO CORPORATE. NOT TO MENTION CORPORATE WILL HANG UP ON YOU JUST FOR BEING UPSET BUT WILL BE JUST AS RUDE TO YOU. I WORK IN A CALL CENTER FOR ATT IN RENTION. NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY OR HOW THEY TREAT US ITS OUR JOB TO BE PROFESSIONAL AND DE ESCALATE THE SITUATION. NOT HANG UP ON CUSTOMERS. SMH. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

Great staff! Sloan kept us updated every step of the application process! Would recommend to anyone needing a place to call home!*Edit*Worst apartment ever. Office manager is rude at all times. None of the staff communicates with each other. We still have issues in our apartment that we’re supposed to have been fixed by now and still nothing. Was told that we’re supposed to pick up after our dog, which is fair, but the waste bags and supplies are always empty, when I told her that she said that we’re supposed to provide our own waste bags. No where in the lease did it say anything about that. Was told that they would be by to spray for bugs. Maintenance did come by to spray, if you can call it that, they were in the apartment for no more than 2 minutes. Patiently waiting for this lease to be up so we can move somewhere more taken care of with better staff.

Worst apartment I’ve ever lived it. I wish I could give it 0 stars. The manager, Amanda, is the most difficult human being I’ve had to deal with. I’ve had countless maintenance issues that do not get resolved. From leaking roofs to no air conditioner to maintenance guys that come in and trash your apartment. This is by far the worst complex I’ve ever had to live in. The neighbors are the most inconsiderate people as well. So look forward to going insane if you move here.

This has been the best apartment experience I have ever had. I am a student at Tech and the location is convenient.The new management staffs are very kind, courteous, and flexible. They always went above and beyond to make my life easier. Over the year, I have had a few routine maintenance requests that have always been handled the day after I submit them.If you are looking for a wonderful place to rent in a great location with the lowest price, Oak Creek is your best choice. Highly recommend!

I’m sure you are very intrigued by the rating and amount of reviews for this place as was I. I toured it in late March and after walking into a marijuana smelled room with limited windows and cracks on the walls I decided I was done. Management said if I write a 5 star google review I could get a free security deposit. I knew it was too good to be true. Does it make sense that an apartment complex in Lubbock would have THIS many good reviews? Just think about it. Even high end complexes don’t have this many good reviews

Ive just finished reading through all the reviews and Im no closer to knowing if Oak Creek is the place my husband & I want to live out our retirement. Unfortunately, this is the case with just about all reviews, and I read them all when I think we might be interested in apartment community. I dont understand how there are many five stars here, but then there are the one star reviews. Sounds like these people are describing two totally different communities...so do I rely on the positive or the negative??

Me and my Girlfriend have had plans forever to move for college. Being our first big step in our lives we were terrified. We checked out Oak Creek Appartments along with many other places but none of the others were able to work and co-operate like they did. When we discussed our situation and our plans they were able to tell us multiple options for payments, availability, and were very quick to respond and thorough with answering our questions. We are still currently in the works of getting up to Lubbock, and are very nervous about moving, but since we will be staying with Oak Creek Appartments and their great prices we feel welcomed and that we can actually relax for a moment.

Oak Creek Apartments are a great place to live! Theres so many things to do-like getting some sun at the pool, toning up at the fitness center or shooting hoops at the basketball courts. The new management company has made an incredible change for the better. The staff is so friendly and they give you the sense that they truly care about their residents and the community.

I cant believe this is the same property that was there years ago. The upgraded interiors look awesome, theres a new basketball court, volleyball court, and pool. The staff is extremely helpful and have created a great community feel.
