** Edited to add: Grace from Ten Salon did call me back after seeing my review and offered a full refund and apologies for missing my voicemail as well as for the quality of the color in my photos. Because of this I have changed my review. Unfortunately Im still only giving three stars because the color was so off.I had an appointment for a balayage and cut. Usually the salons dont style my hair the way I would like and the lighting is a little different than being at home or outside so I always give a few days of styling it myself and seeing the color at home before I decide but I could tell in the chair that I wasnt 100% on this. While the appointment was ongiong I did ask for the cut to modified a little before the appointment finished. I asked for the ends to be thinned with long layers added but they were looking very choppy, uneven, and not blended. My color ended up very streaky & chunky especially in my bangs and patchy with the color distribution- portions would be an ashy tone and others kind of orange. (I have attached photos that my new salon took of my before from Ten Salon that they fixed.) My appointment was a Friday and I gave until Monday because I was going out of town so I was trying to book for when I returned. On Monday I called to let them know I wasnt quite happy with the color or cut. I have yet to receive a response to the phone call and it is now the Monday after I originally called. I am extremely disappointed because I thought I found a new stylist after I recently had another salon give me a hair mishap and I usually have a good experience at this salon. Its extremely frustrating to see in reviews that others are having similar experiences with not getting called back. I have had to go to another salon to fix my hair because I couldnt wait anymore and it is so hard to have to pay another salon a similar amount to have a mistake fixed. I am lucky that I can take the extra expense but others are not so lucky and I cant believe the salon didnt even have the courtesy to call me back to at least say they didnt have any available appointments. I would have completely understood because they are a busy salon and I would have gone back to have my hair fixed but the fact that they havent returned my call after a week is why I wont be returning.

Got a haircut here in July. I have been getting the same cut since my hair grew long: Layering on the bottom two inches, face framing, and a trim so that my hair is straight across my back rather than the dreaded V shape that my waves do not agree with.First off, my stylist was unprofessional. I tried multiple times to make small talk only for her to brush me off. Finally, I tried talking about a long bob which Ive been thinking about getting for the last few years (big commitment when you have long hair and a wide face) and she laughed and told me I was probably a long-haired girl. Ouch.When my cut was finished, I knew something hadnt been done right. The layers on my right side (I part on the left, so there is more hair on the right) were incredibly choppy, and the last layer was inches longer than the rest and extremely thin and scraggly. The next layer started inches above it, and was thick and unseemly.I work from home and usually keep my hair up, so I resolved to let it grow out. Only when I went to a different salon last week for a trim (have some weddings coming up that I need non-choppy hair for) did the new stylist tell me exactly what had happened to my hair. Straight across on one side, and choppy v-shape on the other. Whole inches of my hair in the back were shorter than the rest of the cut. The stylist was just as befuddled as to the strategy of the layering as I was. She fixed me up as best as she could, and now it is significantly less ratty, but Ill need to be back for a cleanup.Its been a long time since Ive had a butchered cut, the last time being when I went to a cheaper salon in grade school. Incredibly disappointed to hear that I received another one at such a high price point and from a salon that really seems to care about treating customers well.Ive had another cut from here, and a manicure, and those experiences were wonderful. Sad to say I wont be returning.

I chose the Ten Salon & Spa for our wedding hair and make up. The crew is amazing, the stylists were receptive for each bridesmaids updo and had so much talent! The make up artists were wonderful, they provided a natural look on each girl beautifully. I was pleased to have a bridal trial for hair and makeup, they were so accommodating and allowed me to try several looks to find the perfect fit. So much talent, amazing customer service and a beautiful bridal suite! Grace is a great contact person, she was truly at our service! Thank you ladies for making us all feel so beautiful.

I went in for my first massage (neck/upper back area) with Mary. I have never been here, but was gifted a certificate so I figured I would give it a go. I will absolutely be returning. Mary is an amazing massage therapist and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone with neck/upper back pain.

I went in to have my roots died and to make my tips purple along with a cut. She didn’t even fully cover the roots or make it correct (my hair is blond but I have been dying it at home so it had a little yellow that I wanted to get rid of). To begin with other than the poor job the hair dresser was fine but then it continued. When we went to the washing station she used cold water and didn’t try to fix it after I said something. We went back and she said she was going to trim it. At this point she still hasn’t done my tips and later mentioned she couldn’t do it since she was out of it. Anyway as she started to cut my hair she didn’t even ask how I wanted it. She just started cutting. Also when she was trimming it I had pointed out my part to her but she just parted it down the middle and started cutting it. It was an awful job and the service was awful.

I had the pleasure of Cedar cutting my hair. I’m a super picky guy when it comes to my hair. The cut she gave me was literally the best haircut I’ve ever received. I left there a few hours ago, and have already gotten multiple compliments.She was a really nice, social, and funny person. I’ve been in those haircuts where they literally don’t talk to you. Cedar & I talked the entire time, and I really enjoyed her conversation.I live in Golden, but I am going to start making the commute just to get my haircut by her. Thank you, Cedar!

Had an appointment for a haircut before the year ended and was super nervous. The hairstyle I wanted was out of my comfort zone and was completely different from what I had at the time. I forgot who my stylist was but she was very patient and worked with what I wanted. She was super friendly and was easy to have a conversation with. She did a great job and I left with a beautiful cut! She told me they do complimentary bang trims/touch-ups but I never utilized it because I moved before my bangs got to the point of needing one.

Dylan is the greatest! He is always friendly, fun to converse with, and does a great job recommending and supporting my hair styling decisions!

I wish that I had a better review for Ten Salon and Spa.The lady who did my hair was very sweet! Unfortunately, six weeks later, I’m still rebounding from the haircut that I received. I also had a color treatment that did not turn as expected. The stylist knew that I was unhappy, and she suggests that I return in a few days to have it fixed. Like most people, I have a full-time job and other responsibilities. Making it back to the salon a few days later for a four-hour appointment wasn’t possible. Therefore, Im dealing with the result. I wasnt going to leave a review, but my experience today lead to this.I did reappoint, but the appointment time I scheduled no longer worked for me. I left a voicemail four days before the appointment to cancel. I received a text reminder two days before my appointment. I left another voicemail requesting to cancel. I received a “rude” phone call today in regards to missing my hair appointment. I felt bad for the stylist. She missed an opportunity to make money because the front desk staff didn’t do their job!Due to these experiences, I will not return to Ten Salon and Spa.Lost 1 star for the haircut I received.Lost 1 star for the color treatment.Lost 1 star for not returning my phone call.Lost 1 star for a rude phone callRetained 1 star for location

I really love Ten salon. Melissa is my stylist and she always does a great job with my cut and color. She is good at cutting fine hair which alot of people arent. She always does a consultation at the beginning of my appointment to make sure of what I want to do which is really nice. I have had coworkers want to go to the salon based off of how my hair looks after Melissa colors and cuts it. Great place and nice staff.

I scheduled an appointment with Delaney! This is the third or fourth time I have gone to her because I love her so much!! She makes you feel so comfortable and works really hard to make sure your cut and color is perfect! She has very affordable prices too! Id seen Ashlees name pop up a lot in other reviews and as of now, her price is only about $35 for a haircut. I decided to try her and I was not disappointed! She was kind, social, and made my hair look just the way I wanted it! Ive only had one appointment, but so far, so good!

Ive been getting my haircut here for 8 years now and David is the best! He is a master at bob haircuts as well as making, what would otherwise be a simple layered haircut, look extra volumous and styled without spending a fortune! He has a natural artistic talent and I am never disappointed! My hair always looks better than I had hoped. He takes the time to explain the products and haircare methods in a simple way too. The salon and products smell incredible, its beautifully decorated, and it feels like a true spa experience for an affordable price. I know my money is well spent here on great quality service and experience. They are also working hard daily to ensure a safe sanitized environment that completely put me at ease amidst this season of covid-19. Well done!

I have been here twice now, first time with a protege (Ashlee), and second time with a Senior (Liz). I would not recommend this hair salon to anyone. Neither stylist was friendly and left very unhappy both times. This most recent time, she cut off about double the amount of hair that I asked for, and when I got home I even found a couple pieces that were much longer than the others that I had to cut myself. Honestly feel like I could have looked up a YouTube video and done it better myself. Gave it a star because the salon itself is nice and clean.

I saw Jen in the medspa for botox and lip filler. She was not only knowledgeable but very clean, professional, and detail oriented. This was my first time doing both and she made me feel so comfortable. She is very thorough and her follow ups make you know she cares about you. I will be going back time and time again. If you want to feel your most beautiful you and have the in match the out, go see Jen!!!!

I love all the workers there. they are so kind and willing to work with you to achieve what you want. I know that my stylist knows what she is talking about and i am confident in her abilities. the only reason for losing a point is due to the higher prices but I understand you must pay more for quality service that wont damage my hair or fade quickly.

I cannot recommended Ten Salon enough! I was nervous about cutting my long hair short and shaving part of it, especially since I just moved to Colorado away from my old hairstylist, but Katherine made me feel at ease as soon as I arrived. She was patient and walked me through every step of the haircut, and spent extra time at the end showing me multiple ways to style my new hair. I will absolutely be back to see Katherine again for all of my hair needs!

We just moved into the area last September and decided to give TEN Salon a chance and Im so glad I did. Tori was so fantastic and attentive to what I wanted done with my hair. Usually I keep my hair long but decided to make the plunge to a short cut. Even though I set foot in there not knowing exactly what style I was going for, Tori was able to cut and style my hair exactly how I wanted! The front staff was so warm and welcoming. Im glad I picked TEN Salon and will be coming back!

I went for a mani-pedi and it was fabulous! The atmosphere is really nice. The people there are super nice and friendly. My manicurist told me they do chemical peels, hair, nails, massages, and they have a real barber. They also serve you a little drink while youre relaxing. The place was very clean and everything was sanitized. The only thing I can gripe about is the chair when I was getting my mani was so uncomfortable. I can see spending a whole luxurious day there with my sisters... this was my previous review. Updated! Everything I said was almost correct except for the nail part. This is the second time I have been here and this time I took my sister and we both, me for the second time, have our nails are all jacked up! My gel nail Polish we both paid extra for and from my previous experience has stayed, on with no chips, or cracks, up to three weeks! Well this is the second time I have chips! For as much as the nail service is there I dont think my 5 day mani should look like its been two weeks!

Ashlee K at ten is an amazing cosmetologist! I have been going to her for years, and she never ceases to amaze me! She is honest, so fun to talk to, and always makes you look and feel great! I had Kim do my hair yesterday! She’s so so sweet, proactive with giving you options, KNOWS what she is doing, and gosh she does everything so fast! I completely recommend going to this salon and totally would encourage getting Kim because she gives you such a nice experience. (This appointment was done during the covid social distancing stuff, so keep in mind you’ll have to wear a mask but it’s not bad at all!)

I have trust issues when it comes to having a hair stylist. I’m very particular about how I want my hair. When I started coming to TEN, I saw a couple of stylists who weren’t the right fit. They were good stylists; but just not what I wanted. I’m happy to say I found my stylist and for 13 years have been faithful to Cedar. Cedar is an absolutely incredible stylist and has become a friend. Sometimes she knows me better than I know myself. She knows what I like and what suits me. She has tried to talk me out of some decisions (bangs 😳) and when I don’t listen I always regret it. I trust her 100% and that’s not an easy thing for me when it comes to my hair. Cedar is always up to date on what’s trendy. It I see something I like, she’s on top of it. If she doesn’t know the best plan for what I want, she isn’t afraid to consult with another stylist.The staff at TEN is great. I have to also give a shout out to aesthetician Tish. She’s amazing at what she does and keeps me laughing.

I have been a big Ten Salon fan since I moved in 2017. Ive always purchased my hair products with them to support small business. I went in today to purchase some product and was treated awful! I do not wear a mask due to respiratory issues. I am always respectful and keep a safe social distance will limiting what I touch. A lady at the front desk was incredibly rude to me when she asked me to wear a mask. When I told her I have respiratory issues and therefore cant wear one she continued to badger me with the same insolent tone. I just grabbed what I needed and left as soon as I could. Never have I been treated so poorly. Needless to say I will NOT be going back. I will take my money elsewhere.

After 5 years of cancer treatment my hair had grown back a little weird. It was uneven and thin. I didn’t feel like myself. Mandy knew exactly how to style my hair and gave me some excellent advice to make it look and feel more full. I will always go back to her for my hair in the future. She is VERY talented and just a joy to talk to. She really knows her stuff and is very passionate about her career. I definitely recommend her.

Master Stylist Amanda gave my hair a complete transformation and I couldn’t be happier! Ever since moving out to Colorado (a little over a year ago) I have struggled to find someone who can cut my texture and thickness well and color my hair to my liking. Amanda went above and beyond and truly turned my hair into art! The receptionist team was amazing and friendly even gave me creamer flavor options for my coffee I felt truly like I received a 5 star pampering as long as I live here I will never go anywhere else!

Don’t go to tori. she ruined my hair and did nothing that i wanted. I love this salon and some of the stylists are amazing. but tori was so rude and i told her exactly what i wanted (balayage) and she only did half of my hair and did it fast and just tried to get me out of there as fast as possible. i was very unhappy. but again i love the salon and it’s a great and welcoming and so gorgeous. my only complaint is tori. not good.

I have never been to a salon, nor have I ever had a salon experience. I usually just go to your typical strip mall barber shop where they heard people in and out like cattle. But I thought I’d give the salon experience a shot. I first walked in and felt out of place but Toryn greeted me with a smile that was very welcoming and made the whole experience something worth bragging about to my coworkers. She was very professional and attentive to my needs. My cut came out amazing and I was very satisfied. I got a paraffin wax hand dip that made my hands so smooth I thought about quitting my job to become a hand model. The shampoo and warm towel put me into a state of relaxation that I was truly in dire need of. Overall it was an experience that I look forward too repeating a couple times a month. Thank you Toryn, and thank you TEN for opening my eyes to what. Real haircut should be.

I went in almost a year ago to Ashlee Krueger, she did so amazing!! My hair needed a lot of love! My hair was super faded, a weird color, and I NEEDED a hair cut! She gave me a beautiful balayage, literally brought my hair back to life. I felt like a brand new girl!! I still love my hair a year later! Highly recommend going to Ashlee!
