Incredibly knowledgeable and professional, best Subaru mechanic around. I wouldnt take a Subaru anywhere else unless youre bad with money. I took two used Subarus here that I was looking to purchase and he almost immediately found symptoms of a head gasket issue on one that wasnt disclosed by the dealer. Saved me $3K in 15 minutes and ended up purchasing the second with as much peace of mind you can have when buying a used car. If you own a Subaru, take it here, period.

I needed a simple diff oil change before a big road trip. He fit me in and charged well below any stealership. He also gave me solid advice about other maintenance coming due. Incredibly knowledgeable even by my gear head standards. Hes my new guy for all of my Subarus.

Kyle is a skilled technician and honest business owner. I brought my car to him with suspicion that the front brakes were worn and ready for service. After his inspection he explained that the brakes didnt need replacement and instead made necessary adjustments to the rear brakes that noticeably improved their grip. I was especially impressed considering he had already ordered the front brake parts upon my request. Thank you Subadude!

I took a used outback I was thinking of buying to Subadude to check it over. He was able to see me on a Saturday, thoroughly checked over and test drove the car and told me all the issues he found with it, how much it would likely cost to fix them and even went into detail about the differences in cheaper and more expensive fixes. He was efficient and gave a very reasonable price. His advice was invaluable and I highly recommend him.

Ive been a customer for about 8 years. Always excellent service and Kyle treats my Subie like its his own. He is happy to discuss options and is cool with answering questions and doing a little brainstorming. He always comes up with a solution and stands behind it. Ive recently started regularly taking my 06 wrx on rough roads and fairly steep hills, and when my clutch failed a while back, he researched and learned of a clutch/flywheel combo that would be more suited to the terrain, but still comprised of high quality reliable Subaru parts (listen to him on this point if it ever comes up). After a break in period, the clutch feels super great and the car drives better than ever, even with nearly 150k. I wont go anywhere else.

No oil changes unless its a part of a full fluids service and im not sure what all that entails (Im guessing its because he works from home) but Kyle more than deserves a garage for those types of services. Pleasant bloke! Didnt charge us anything for fixing our horn and replacing a $3 fuse to our headlights, (we had a spare in the fuse box and he was honest about it) However, there must have been some sort of communication issue as we mentioned an oil change about 3x to him prior to the visit and he didnt tell us it didnt happen until he was finished with it, so that was a little weird. However, we were in a rush that morning and our subie is all we have, so he generously offered a ride which I was not expecting (but Id already ordered a car!) Would recommend and would 100% visit again if he had his own shop and provided more services!

As another reviewer stated, Kyle is the best honest mechanic around. I knew Kyle when he was based in Broomfield, and now that he is in Fort Collins, I make the drive from Boulder. Wait, I drive 1hr each way just to get my car worked on? You bet. Thats how much I value working with a knowledgable, honest mechanic who will teach me about my vehicle and only do the work thats required. Amazing guy, super knowledgeable about everything subaru, he is the go-to-guy for me, he helped me find a subaru to buy and he quoted me an amazing price for the repairs it needed, he is the only mechanic I go to. Also he is personable and super nice.

Kyle is pretty much the bees knees. When my Outback started making angry sounds like a starving Yetis tummy, Subadude drove out and soft diagnosed it IN THE DRIVEWAY before we ever called for a tow. For about two thirds the cost of a mainstream shop, he had me back on the road in a few days flat. I was effectively given three, very honest, tiered price options before the repairs: get it moving, get it healthy-ish, and get it SUPER swanky. To top it all off, when me receipt was emailed to me, I come to learn this cool hippie racer dude donates ten percent of his earnings to local charities each quarter, and lets you Facebook vote on where the money goes... And my car is purring like a kitten. Thank you, Kyle! Ill be back next time the Suby acts up, for sure.
