We were able to get my brothers 2006 Ford Escape in rather quickly. We had a full diagnostic and got an accurate assessment of the main problem, power steering pump. (The priority on the list.) The car repair was completed in a day. The communication was very good. Which is very important these days. Mechanical services these days are pricey anywhere these days. The price here was fair. We left feeling confident they addressed the problem as needed. Would recommend to others looking for local repairs in Loveland. Will be back to see them!

I drove an hour from Denver to visit Metric Motors for some work on my vehicle and was happy to find out it is an incredibly professional and well-run establishment. Steve went out of his way to work with me on a very tight timeline for the maintenance I needed on my Land Cruiser and made sure I had all the information I needed before making a decision. His knowledgable Toyota expert Russ also gave great insight on my vehicles needs. There was a very in-depth inspection which made me much more comfortable with the service. Despite the travel time, this was overall an 11/10 experience and I 100% trust them for any future repairs or maintenance

This was the first time using this business. I needed to replace a timing belt on my Toyota truck. Foster at the front desk was very informative about the parts needed and labor required, they did a great job. A few weeks later I experienced a problem with the air conditioning right before leaving on an extended trip. They were able to fit me in quickly and remedy the problem. I will definitely continue to use them and highly recommend this business for repair needs

I had a busy day of errands and being able to drive around and not sit in the waiting room was a huge plus.It’s cool how you can see the items they checked on your car w/ photo and video feedback.Kept me updated on the status of the car, didn’t push me on getting any individual item and clarified the specifics of each items purpose and cost. (Something as simple as making sure i knew it was a synthetic oil change so i wasn’t surprised at the cost)Cons -My only suggestion to anyone reading this is to be to sure you call to make an appointment. I initially scheduled one online and have emails to verify but they said there was no proof of the appointment, so i had to come in another week. A small hiccup, so make sure to keep your time precious and call in!Overall, Very friendly, clean and helpful. Will be coming back in.

Chris was who I dealt with the most and he was incredible. My car died on the way to the shop with my two babies with me. He came to help me with a jump box to get me to the shop. An above and beyond move in my opinion. Their option of a loaner car was huge for this busy mom and they got me in and out so quickly, when no other shop in town would take me until next week. Metric Motors was able to find the problem I was having with a battery that wouldn’t hold a charge for more than two days. Other electrical components weren’t working well either. I had replaced the battery less than a year ago so I didn’t think the battery was the issue . He was honest in his approach as to how he planned to find the problem as well as the time it would take and costs. I appreciate that the car and the electrical components are back in working order! Routine inspection of my Forrester, some filters needed replacement as well as tires. They are always professional. Ive used them for years and have never had a problem.

My neighbor referred me to metric motors just moved into town.Truck would not start I am the original owner of a 2004 ram and have taken good care of it through out the years didn’t know for sure what was wrong but I possibly thought it was my fuel pump. I was hesitant on taking my truck into new place cause I usually just go to dodge but my neighbor Said these guys were really good I am so glad I went to metric motors very professional and thorough crew there they had me up and running in 2 days with a complete summary of what was wrong how they fixed it and complete summary of what else I needed. Steve was great at taking his time going over everything thing and not rushing me out. I went to Metric based on the recommendation of a friend who had been using them for years and he loved everything about them. I went in thinking I simply needed a 150,000 tune up for my RAM 1500, but the only services I had done previously were oil and tires at quick in and out places. Early in the afternoon Foster called me and let me know that there were additional items that should be taken care of and explained them to me in detail, exactly what they would be doing and why they needed to be done. These were things that a quick in and out oil change place doesnt even glance at. I am very thankful for their attention to detail, personal brand of service, and their honesty and integrity. I also got a sweet loaner car at no additional charge!!! The hardest thing in the world is finding a mechanic who you trust, that item is now marked off my list. From this point forward everyone in my family will be using Metric Motors because they are all fantastic people who did a wonderful job.

One of the biggest tests of a business is when something doesnt go right. And there are no businesses where everything goes right. I had my pickup in for service to have some peace of mind about taking a long drive. I ended having some engine issues on the drive, which I want to emphasize, were not directly related to the service I received. There may have been some question about the likelihood of preventing the issues during the service call. With only this question lingering, Metric Motors decided to go WAY above and beyond and eliminate any doubt about what is important to them ( HINT: customers) and covered the entire repair bill. I was blown away when I was told this would be the case. This just doesnt happen in times like these! Thank you Gentlemen!

I have been a customer at Metric for years. They always treat me right. Foster and the rest of the staff at the front desk are very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I wont take my car anywhere else!They even loan me a car when I need it. Which is saying something, because I am not a big spender.Dont muck around looking for the cheaper guy or the snazzier guy. I came in with my ‘11 Pathfinder because it had an obnoxious shake when accelerating and I got it to them Thursday evening, Matt at the front helped me through from start to finish and was awesome! they were kind, informative and fast. They gave me a loaner to drive while they had my vehicle and Called me first thing Friday with the issue and an estimate that was reasonable and then they had my truck done in a very nice time frame. All the employees were friendly and helpful and respectful. I certainly would recommend them to anyone I know and will certainly be going back with any further issues. I now have a truck that runs great and it didn’t cost me a crazy amount not to mention I wasn’t stuck without a vehicle.

Ive used Metric Motors for years and have never been disappointed.

Told me it would take four hours to do spark plugs at 130 an hour luckily I was able to take the cover off and a 5/8 socket for the spark plugs took me about 45 minutes to do all eight spark plugs and I changed out the ignition coil which sit right on top which they told me they were unable to get in for two days and I went to AutoZone and got it the same day also they wanted $150 for the ignition coil I was able to get it for 75 bucks and they told me about 45 minutes to install the ignition coil it took me about 3 minutes good customer service thou there on time and ready to take what you got. Not to mention the $125 fee for them to plug in their obd2 reader. Hope this is useful to you guys that were thinking about going here YouTube is your friend. Grand total was $750 to do 8 spark plugs and an ignition coil and it was on a 1997 Mercedes Benz and those are really easy to get to theyre right on top

Told me what I needed gave me a complete estimate and got the work done same day. Great staff to. This is the only shop Ill have working on my vehicles, they are amazing and I highly recommend them.

I got some new tires and some work done to address alignment issues on my 18 year old Forester. It is riding so well now! Excellent work!The folks at Metric were also very careful with Covid-19 precautions keeping me and themselves safe which I very much appreciated.Lisa was very patient with all my questions and phone calls.In May I needed an oil change for the new used Forester and we also asked for an inspection. They were very thorough and sent a link to the resulting inspection which is great for our records. Steve kept us informed throughout the day and any recommendations.

They have always been great, very professional. They arent the cheapest but you get what you pay for. The thing I like is they arent pushy but they do a very thorough inspection of the vehicle and tell you what upcoming maintenance needs are based on urgency, wear etc.

We had our GMC Yukon Denali XL towed to the shop, as it was making horrible noises and the check engine light was also on. We had them perform a full diagnostic, which unfortunately revealed we needed a new engine. We were staying in Loveland short term and had already been dealing with other hardships. They were more than understanding and let us keep our Yukon on their lot while we sorted everything out. Once we decided to sell our Yukon and wait for it to be towed away, Lisa in particular, was very helpful, thoughtful and guided us through the process. When there were some unforseen circumstances that delayed the pick up of the Yukon, again, Lisa was there to help reassure us that it was fine to keep the Yukon on their lot. We then had to leave Loveland and our Yukon had not been picked up. We talked with Lisa and entrusted her with handling the transaction of selling our Yukon. Lisa and the team at Metric Motors not only let us keep our broken down Yukon on their lot for over two weeks, but they helped complete the process of selling it, and overnighting our check to us. They even gave us a gift card to buy groceries and showed us compassion in our time of need. We truly cannot thank them enough for everything they have done for us!

I have used their services before and they were great then. this time I went in because the battery wasnt holding the charge. since they had worked on this before, they were familiar with the brand and reassured me this is a great brand and it must be something else. they checked everything else, alternator, etc cohosh he find anything, so they gave me a loaner car and early the next morning they had figured out of was a switch. I offered to pay for their time and diagnosing it, but they wouldnt hear of it. battery was just warranty and thats all part of their service! they are my preferred auto place and they continue to be. I have referred many friends to them.

Dan and the Metric Motor’s team was instrumental and a Godsend to me by assisting me in getting my car back on the road! As a single mom and Massage therapy business owner, things are always financially tight. When Covid-19 hit, my business was deemed “un-necessary” and closed for six weeks. Shortly after being closed down my transmission died in my only vehicle. Dan partnered with parts shops and was offering free car repairs for those, like myself, who were severely affected by the shutdown whose cars were not working. I applied and was accepted, though they could not get a free transmission for me. With some help from a family friend, I was able to acquire a transmission that Metric Motors installed (with much rebuilding and reprogramming) for free! And with additional help from my church and Dan I was also able to get a new timing belt for a fraction of the cost. Thank you so much Dan! My car runs beautifully and I pray I can pay it off soon and still enjoy it for years to come as it’s almost like new again. I had my car looked at for a break lite issue. I dropped it off on tuesday and had it back early Thursday. It was the fastest a shop has had my car In and out. Dan was so nice with dropping off my car picking a loaner and picking my car back up. I will be recommending this shop to everyone

My pickup needed help: batteries were not lasting long, fluids leaking, radiator overheating - getting to the edge of drivability.I told Dan about how I use the truck and how I was hoping to salvage it if it was able to be repaired. They set out to understand what was causing problems with the electrical system. After thorough analysis, they took a course of action to get it running well again.They gave me a nice online report of the various issues throughout the vehicle. After fixing the immediate problems, Dan helped me plan out a course of action for the remaining issues over the next few months. The truck is running well! The heat in the front of my car stopped working roughly a year ago. I spent $1300 at a car place to find out they were not able to fix the problem. The guys at Metric Motors had my car a total of 3 days and had the heat working!! I am so very thankful! I highly recommend them!

I’ve been going to Metric Motors for years. The staff is friendly, appointments are easy to get, and they always provide a loaner car which is a must for me.As far as getting my car fixed, I’ve had a mix of good and bad experiences. When it comes to the motor itself, they do a fantastic job. Their knowledge of other systems is hit or miss.MM worked on my truck several times, but couldn’t tell me if I had a lift kit installed, and didn’t know how to fix the loose steering. Another time I brought in a Toyota minivan with a faulty door motor. They quoted me $1100. I had recently gotten the same motor on the opposite door fixed by another shop in Denver for $400. I took it back to the first shop who did it for $400.My most recent visit wasn’t great. I asked to have my cabin air filter changed. Instead they spent an hour looking for an engine leak which they never found, but they did charge me $130 for their trouble. They also balanced my tires, which I didn’t ask them to do. I always get my tires balanced at Discount Tire as it’s free for the life of the tires, not $65. They did inform me of a leak in my muffler, but they were unwilling to fix it. They referred me to a muffler shop instead. I wound up paying $200 and left with the same problems I came in with.Hopefully next time will go better.
