Called for walk-in. I said “five minutes” and apparently I got there too fast. I still waited ten minutes — very rushed. No massage AT ALL. I asked what type of pedicure and was told I was getting the basic because I came in too fast. She showed me the menu after the fact . 😂NOTHING relaxing about this experience.TV blasting the Price is Right the entire time.Clearly a couple trying to run their business. But as a new customer I asked ahead, called ahead, was told no problem. Still very rushed and perfunctory. No thanks. Would not recommend n
I would definitely not recommend this salon. They cut 3 of my fingers with their Dremel tool and tried to make it out like it was my fault because my fingers were sensitive, which they are not. I was literally dripping blood from one of my fingers 😐
Amazing message and my toes look amazing. I’m so relaxed and loved the environment! I hope to come back my next trip here!
Best pedicure I’ve had in a long time. Wish I can remember the woman’s name but she was awesome and so nice.
I showed them a simple picture of what I wanted and gave me the completely opposite. Charged $40.00 for sloppy work and even cut my finger. They are kind of rude to their customers and turned two away when I was there because “no time.” They were pretty hesitant with me when i came in and I said I could make an appointment and come back no problem but they told me to sit and that they would do my nails. (there was one only one person in there besides myself when I walked in) the whole thing felt pretty rushed and sloppy. I hated the nails so much I went to highland nails just across the street to get them fixed and they were amazing. i only went to this salon because of the reviews. Now I know better.
This is my favorite place to get my nails done! They take time to do things correctly from cleaning and shaping nails to applying polish in thin layers and monitoring dry time. I get the same exceptional service with all of their employees. It’s become the only place I will go. I was impressed that it was the first stop for an out of towner even before checking into their hotel. Stop by and try it out! There is additional parking in the back.
The man did did a great job in my full set but the polish is already peeling on both hands. Ive never had chipped polish as long as Ive been getting my nails done.
Good looking ladies going in and out . They must do a great job.
I decided to check out Bardstown road nails. I called Friday afternoon to schedule an appointment for Sunday, which happened to be mothers day. I asked for a 12pm (opening time on Sunday) appointment. I was the first person there. Others didnt start showing up until closer to 1pm.The service was phenomenal. It was my first time getting my nails done ( I know, how?) I got a pedicure, and a manicure with acrylics. The pedicure and the options you can choose from are beyond amazing. I felt so rested and at ease. Tammy did my acrylics, and she was fast, but the service was excellent. They give you complementary water, and have parking in the front of the building as well as the back. The shop is VERY clean, and smells amazing. They even have a hello kitty pediacure chair for children!Everyone at Bardstown road nails were friendly, and professional. I cant wait to go back, and try the gel nails.
Linda took care of me. She was great 🙂 they even stayed after to fit me in.
Was able to get an appointment same day, actually 30 minutes after my call! Next time Im in town Ill go back!
Liked the location and price was good but did not like the service or my nails
Im picky and very particular about how my nails look. Tram & Tammy take care of each customer like they are about to take the runway! They are always cleaning! Love this place! Highly recommended!
Tammy is my go to! An absolute queen, attention to detail is unreal...and y’all I’m PICKY! She is the only one my sisters, mother and I go to!
Love that salon. Clean & friendly.
I have gone to several different nail salons in the past and Bardstown Road Nail Salon is by far the BEST nail salon! I had gel and dip before and both are fantastic! The gel stays on the longest of an other salon I have used. It always stays on for about 3 weeks without chipping. My most recent visit was when I, along with my mother and 3 bridesmaids, went to get mani and pedis before my wedding. They were amazing! They allowed all four of us to sit next to each other during the pedis and during the manis. I wanted to do an ombre french tip and they were able it do it and it was beautiful! I received several compliments during my wedding on how pretty my nails were. They were seriously perfect for my big day! If youre looking for a new and great place to get your nails done, come to Bardstown Road Nail Salon! You will not be disappointed!
One of the best nail salons I have been to. They made my nails look so natural with dip that I couldnt notice I had acrylic nails on. This will be my new nail spot. Great friendly staff, and atmosphere. I recommend anyone that is willing to drive down Bardstown road to come here.
It is clean. The fees are so much more than stated. Plus $5.00 for nails plus $2.00 for pedi. They will not give you a break on sny extras like putting the drill across the tops of your nails. Its charged as a cut down when nothing is cut.The gentleman was nice but cut me 5 times. Hurt and was tender for a week. I returned to Nobu nails 8 miles away. I never have issues and 20.00 less with tip.
I missed them so much. They have ALWAYS given me the best service in this city. Never too overcrowded. Very welcoming and friendly. The service is impeccable and they take pride in thier work. I always feel like a queen and leave KNOWING that the work will last. To add to it; their prices are AWESOME!
Wish I was local so this could be my regular place! So clean and great service. A nice relaxing pedicure without cutting any corners. My toes look great and my feet feel awesome. Definitely recommend!
The place is clean and they do a good job on your nails. Their prices are also a few dollars cheaper than other places on Bardstown Road. But I’m not the biggest fan of the service and by that I mean, I’ll call in asking if their is a wait and they always say no, but when I get there 3 minutes later I have to wait. Other than that it’s not a bad place to go.
I look forward to going to Bardstown Road Nail Salon because not only are they very talented and accommodating, but the people who work there are like family. Tammy is absolutely amazing! I have referred several people to her and they, too, have been just as impressed. Today, Victor gave me a very thorough pedicure with so much attention to detail and a massage that was not rushed. I will also request him in the future. Thank you, thank you, thank you Bardstown Rd Nail Salon...you all are the best!!!
I love going to Bardstown nails, they are very respectful, very professional. and its nice and clean their. The owners Tammy and her husband are awesome, they always helping pitch in and give a helping hand, to get you out as quickly as possible. Been going there for like 5 years now and I cant see me going nowhere else. Thanks for everything Mahogany
Just moved here from NYC a couple months ago, and Im so happy that I found a great pedicure spot before summer! I got there early today and was able to be seen almost immediately (although in the future Ill probably make an appointment just to make their lives easier). The man who did my pedicure was really nice, very personable and took great care with his work! The price for the pedicure ($28) was totally reasonable and I will definitely be back.
It had a wonderful staff who did a great job. They make sure pedicures are not rushed and very thorough. Excellent service. Its beautifully decorated and very clean. Awesome deals and prices. We will be back for sure!
I tried this salon for the first time tonight. They were very nice and friendly. I did not have an appointment, but was seen immediately. Due to how late it was they had one technician do my pedicure while another did my shellac manicure. It was wonderful! One of the best experiences I have had at any salon in Louisville. Ill definitely be back.
I broke a nail and went to this nail salon for a pedicure. They are great! They were able to fix my broken nail without ripping the old acrylic nail pedicure. Amazing technique. The rate is reasonable. Ill definitely be back again. Thanks!
They were pros! Its a small shop but do not let fool you because they give you everything you want and more!
I thought I was going to leave a negative review because Sarah had a little snark to her curt, What, in response to me saying I had a question, but alas, all ended well. Her pedi skills are sharp and her disposition ended up being quite pleasant. The salon is clean and all of the employees appeared attentive to customers needs. Ill definitely be back.
These ladies are amazing! So gentle and not rushed to get you out like mist nail salons!
I love this place. Their pedicures never chip (not sure what crazy magic they use), they do a fantastic job, and its extremely clean. As a bonus, if you go for a spa pedicure, they offer a much nicer (and much nicer smelling) quality of lotions than the standard, kind of stinky pink lotion at most other places. Its a little more expensive than others in the area, but in my opinion its worth it.
Tammy is absolutely wonderful. Extremely thorough and I have never had a nail crack or chip. Her dip manicures will last for weeks! Very reasonable a prices, too.
I am beyond upset right now, I went there right after work to get 3 nails fix because it was cracked for some odd reason (mind you I had just gotten it done last week). At first I actually wanted to see if I should make an appointment since they were so busy but the lady said no so I sat down. Id like to think of myself as a very nice person and Ive never left a bad review before because I believe in if you dont have anything nice to say, dont say nothing at all but this experience was awful. I got all teary eyed because I was so upset. I waited for almost an hour and then someone else came in with the same person but she was just a tad more upset than I was I guess so she didnt even wait that long for them to sit her. I complained and they brushes me off, I stood up. Stood there for awhile for them to finally sit me and then again I was then again ignored. I said something again for them to come attend to me, when I said something I was then blamed for the problems with my nails. The guy even try to make me look stupid by looking at the lady next me while talking about how its my fault, but the lady next me then said no I actually had cracks in mine too how crazy is that? Im so grateful for the ladies beside me, I was able to leave with a smile on my face. I was upset and when Im mad, I cant help but cry. I really hope you guys can do better next time, it shouldnt have that far and I really liked my prior experience with you guys. Its still a nice place to get your nail done thou, they just need to do better under pressure.
Since Ive been here I dont go anywhere else. Their prices are great and they do s fabulous job. My feet and hands leave feeling happy and pretty!
Came in as a repeat customer 2 hours before closing and was told We dont have time for you. Very rude, will not be back.Went right across the street to Highland Nails. Also very busy but got a warm, friendly welcome immediately. They were short staffed 2 people and still managed quick attention to everyone in the lobby with a friendly smile. I recommend skipping Bardstown Road Nails and heading across the street to Highland Nails!! Way better business.
I tried Bardstown Road Nail Salon for the first time, just 1 month ago. My tech was Tammy and my experience was great the first time. The service I went in for was a full set of gel nails.I went back December 21st for a full set and a pedicure. I made an appointment with Tammy, as my experience was great the first time. When I went in for my appointment Tammy was busy so they had another nail tech start and finish my pedicure. My water was cold so I asked them give me hot water. They drained the water halfway and added warm water but the water was still cold. I decided to not to complain again as they didnt fix the issue the fist time. When the nail tech polished my left toe nails, she used the wrong color and I told her. I had to get up out of my spa chair and walk over to their polish shelf to get the color I asked for. Because the polish was gel, it couldnt be wiped off with acetone. It had to be soaked and filed off. She was frustrated she had to remove it. It was the worse pedicure Ive ever had. When I got to Tammy for my nails, she and the other tech had already communicated over my color being wrong. When Tammy got to my Polish, she told me I needed to remember my color when I come in next time. I told her I did remeber my color and it was her employee who didnt give me the color I asked for, which was the same color I had on my nails from my first visit. She continued to tell me that I didnt remember my color and that I was confused and its hard for me to remember. I became frustrated with them. I felt insulted, talked about, rushed, and made to feel an inconvenience.I will never return to this salon and I wouldnt recommend them to anyone, after my experience.
Absolutely LOVED this place. Very friendly. Did a great job on my pedi and not to mention the masdage chair was also a compression. Wish i could move them to Tampa
I went there and my acrylics looked really good and was reasonably priced I also really enjoyed the environment and my nail tech was so sweet and kind even though I came in quite late but as soon as I got home my nails were in excruciating pain they hurt so so so bad if they touched anything and even if I wasn’t doing anything I got them removed the next morning. Anyway I will never return for acrylics but I would recommend for anything else as I enjoyed everything but the pain.
They are always able to get me in on short notice, they have a great color selection, prices are reasonable and my nails always look amazing!
Nice and clean excellent service
Very professional and very friendly service! They’re very talented
I was expecting a good experience based on the reviews but left disappointed. Went for an acrylic fill in and sheliac, my tech Victor made my nails crooked and different lengths. I asked him three times to fix a specific nail and its still crooked. Didnt use the right color for my paint and it was sloppy. The place is nice and has a good color selection, I just suggest a different technician!!
Very clean and very nice. Also, their nails stay unchipped and ON for over a month with no fill-in!! (Not suggesting such a long time for fill-ins, just so happened I did, and my nails have done fantastically!!) Love, Love, Love this place!!!
This place is absolute garbage. I’ve never had my nails break so much after going to a place. I’ve had them done for about a week and have already had three break. They didn’t even acknowledge me when I walked in the door. I sat in the waiting area for a good 10-15 minutes before any of them even spoke to me. It’s not worth their prices. Save your time, money, and your nails and do not go here.
I went to get my monthly pedicure and it was a great experience. 10/10 would reccomend requesting Sarah. Kid friendly place as well.
My first time here and wont be the last. Very clean and bright. Love the Sunday hours.
The most friendly nail service you can find on Bardstown Road Highland area.
Ive been a few times to get my nails done. I went with my friend the first time for pedicures together, but they werent able to do both of our pedicures at the same time. We probably should have made an appointment, but some clients who walked in after me were served first while I was still waiting for my pedicure which is why I docked one star. Ive gone a few times since and didnt have a wait at all. They definitely put the time in to make sure my nails looked good (for example, putting an extra coat of polish if I picked a very light color). The salon is very clean and beautiful. It also has parking right in front which is great for Bardstown Road. The prices are great too!
I got my nails done by the guy today and he was too distracted and worried about lunch to do a good job with my nails. He hurt me while taking the off he was distracted from start to finish. I left very unhappy.
Every time I go there I receive great service. Tammy is very talented!
Very nice places get your nails and pedicure.
Beautiful shop. Great service. Extremely relaxing as a nail spa should be!
They have some of the best colors that Ive never seen anywhere else!
Sloppy work
Clean facilities... professional staff... service has been consistent and delivered in a manner where I don’t feel rushed through the process. I go to relax and do a little self-care and haven’t been disappointed yet. 😁 I definitely recommend this establishment.
Got the second pedicure Ive ever gotten in my life here. Prices were reasonable and enjoyed it more than the first. Im obviously no expert on this subject though.
I absolutely love this place, I dont mind paying a little extra for great service! They take their time, and Ms. Tammy and her husband are just the cutest couples to see working together!!
Love this nail salon! They are always nice and my nails always look great.
Always get great service, and attention to detail and quality with my nails. I cant go anywhere else!
Great Service, and reasonable prices. Victor Dang was awesome!!!!
Always awesome. Friendly service. I keep going back lol. Reasonably priced. Very clean place.
Warm welcoming they do what you ask very polite im definitely coming back..
Went and got my nails done for my birthday the next day a nail popped off .. they fixed it for free but still not the best quality
Worst experience I ever received, not very friendly, overpriced, and my nails popped off before I could go back for a fill in! Which means before I had them on for at least 2 weeks!
Does an amazing Dip.
The best nail place ever!!!
This was the worst nail salon I have ever been to in Louisville. I have had dip nails done for 3 years and never have I had such a terrible experience. The nail tech cut my claw shaped nails all the way off and left me with no nails on 1 hand. The owner then came over and said she didnt know how to do dip and cutting nails was confusing. The owner then had me wait for 1.5 hours until she finished other people to do mine because she said no other tech knows how to do anything. I had to have 5 acrillic nails glued onto my nails that the nail tech chopped off and then she proceeded to charge me for making me wait there 4 hours and ruining my nails. I have never been talked to so terribly by an establishment and I will never return here. I live and work on bardstown and will spread the word about what a horrendous experience this was
Not the cheapest manicure/pedicure in town, but still reasonable. Regardless of price, the entry-level mani-pedi I had yesterday still stands as the best I have ever had, precise, thorough, and lovely. The shop is extremely clean; uses footbath liners for each customer; and the people who work there are pleasant and remarkably professional for a neighborhood nail shop. They are all Vietnamese, and their language skills range from native-speaker to still learning. They are extremely considerate of whether the customer wants to chat or not which I appreciate. Nhi was my tech. I suspect she is the youngest in the salon (I was initially worried she was underage!) She is incredible at her job. Go there. You will like it.
First time... Snow did an awesome job 👍
Professional....very upscale.....a must try.
Tammy is my favorite and she always hooks me up! Awesome staff, very clean, love spending time here
Great professional service
This place is awesome Tammy & Hannah are the best
She missed parts of my toe nails. It also seemed like she rushed through service. Major rip-off and overpriced.
