I have been visiting the YMCA Southwest for years and I have always enjoyed an atmosphere of professionalism, respect, education and familiarity in general, but a few weeks ago I have seen not very civilized demonstrations that I tell you:1- Two adult men bathing in the pool in their underpants.2- When entering the Sauna a man who was inside demanded from me with rude gestures and without speaking, that he close the door when I had not yet entered.Note: In the two previous cases the individuals did not have aspects of being natives of this country.

Great facility. Always clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. So glad we joined!!

Great summer program. The activity weeks are planned way in advance so you get start getting your child(ren) excited about what’s to come.Communion has been going well via the remind system. The directors are friendly and inviting. I would recommend the program.

This location has many staff that have been there for a decade or more. It has a welcoming feel to it and the classes are great. There are so many benefits of being a member beyond just a place to work out. One of my favorite membership features is the flexibility to workout at any Y nationwide when I am out of town.

I spoke with Aisha Wilson when I signed up for a membership and she was very courteous and helpful. After the conversation I felt very informed about the membership program and how it applied to my needs.

I like it here....just wish zumba had more than latin music. Its the same songs everytime. Its getting boring. The facility itself is great. The classes are just repetitive

My children have been going to daycare there for years. Staff was always friendly. Unfortunately they have recently become anti science and using children as political pawns, when they decided to force masks on the 3 and 4 years olds. There has not been an outbreak or covid infections traced to the childcare facility. Children are not infectious with the covid 19 based on actual science. I would imagine they are using our 3-4 year olds to push the experimental covid shot on the children once it is available to get them out of the mask. We were only given a weekends notice that this would take place. Now we are scrambling to find a new daycare so that my little girl will BE ALLOWED TO BREATH FREELY.

I love pool and the water aerobics classes.

Im very disappointed with this program at this Y> I paid for private lesson for my grandson and the director was never in the office to make this appointment and I called 5 time all day from morning to evening hours left a message with Executor of the Y voice mail still no call . The membership has been deducted from my account twice and no appointment for swim lesson. Do not use this Y for private swim lesson I neve had a problem at Southeast

This facility is very dirty. I cant remember the last time the floors were swept or mopped. Stains on the ceiling tiles and millipedes in the classroom.1.18.2020 Ceiling leaking on the treadmill.

DAYCARE!!!! just really needed to express my thanks to the daycare here at the southwest YMCA. Our little girl (4months old) is doing so well all around and the ladies here are a big part of her daily life during the week and I could not be happier with them. I feel my daughter is safe, attended too and properly changed and fed. I could go on and on... Thank you Leslie, Felicia, Kathy and the rest of the crew!!! We appreciate you!!!! FIVE STARS!

Ive been going to this location for 10 years. Just the right size. Nice variety of classes. Clean facility. Very family oriented.

Love this YMCA... I have two kids 2 & 4, they do great in the daycare and love the pool! My oldest loves the family swim time and the slide. The lifeguards and staff members are always kind and happy.

Great staff and machines are fairly current and clean. Building rather dated and pool and looker room smaller than average, but it fairly in good shape. This YMCA has a sauna which is a huge plus. No towel service, so bring your own shower items. The person at the front desk was very nice and went well above expectations to correct an issue with my wifes YMCA pass - did I mention the fact we were visitors from another state?

YMCA Childcare. Rules of Engagement are as follows. Do expect your child, within DAYS, to turn into a complete monster. Clawing your face, slapping you, biting you but dont expect them to learn any new words or something productive like that. Expect daily bruises, bite marks and absolutely no incident reports or explanations for the marks. If you are expecting supervision...save it...there is no possible way they could have supervise adequately and still have enough time to learn his new violent trade and be bitten without them being aware.Do not expect staff to go above and beyond to assist you, they are mostly rude, not the least accommodating. This is especially true when you leave something there. You can ask but instead of them saying, Let me look into that or let me help you look you will instead get an old lady acting impatient with you and two teenagers denying that they have it, berating and arguing with you in the hot sun. If you point out their mistake or dare react. I mean why wouldnt you be upset when they Lose your childs carseat and its the end of the day. You find it yourself with no help and show them. They will not apologise to you for the problem they will lie and make up a story to cover their own behinds. It is not acceptable to react and say damn in an empty hallway. Instead you will be accused of cursing out the staff and last but not least I m telling you DONT EVER MENTION TALKING TO CPS THEY WILL DO ANYTHING TO HIDE THE STAINS OF THEIR PAST. FOLKS CHECK NEWS ARTICLES AND BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY SOMETHING STINKS!

I really like it I enjoy swimming, with my beautiful kids.

I like that I can swim and sauna on my own schedule, Aquafit equipment is available for anytime use . Showers are on point and can have a coffee afterwards if I want. Very nice staff. My favorite way to start the busy day ahead

The facility is great. The staff was very friendly. The concerns I have are the outdoor activities. The summer camp I sent my child to was lacking. They just sit around most of the time and are always outside in the heat. In the mornings they have to wait in a gazebo for about an hour, also just sitting around. Another concern are the fields. The soccer fields are extremely clumpy and havent been mowed for a while. The lines on the fields are almost invisible. I sense no care for the outdoor activities.

My whole family can come. The group classes have definitely pushed our fitness habits.

Great place to work out especially if you have kids.

This Ymca use to be such a great place to send your child. She ms Tarvis was there! She cared about our kids fed them. It was okay if you were a little late they still ate breakfast. These new ppl they have just don’t care I’m gonna be taking my daughter out of here soon because I’m very upset with how she’s being treated and nobody has even tried to help me with any of my complaints, so I’m through with this place all together. It fell apart when ms tarvis left
