My A/C had gone out completely in 90+ degree weather. I texted C&L and I was called within a half hour. They scheduled me a new installation for the next morning and by the next day at 12:30, I had A/C again!! They are quick, dependable, courteous and very reasonably priced. I was worried that they would take advantage of me based on the situation, but it was the opposite. I got great service at a reasonable cost! I will definitely use C&L again!!

Brian came out and took care of our A/C. He was on time, professional, and personable. He fixed our unit in 30 minutes for a fair price! This is definitely a company we will use again the next time our a/c has issues!

I would recommend C&L to everyone. I got 5 in person quotes before C&L quoted me. They were BY FAR the fairest price. We used one of the the big companies, lured by an inexpensive Spring maintenance offer. The technician tried high-pressure, scare tactics - telling me my furnace blower was shot, and the heat exchanger might collapse and spill dangerous carbon monoxide into the house. He suggested I needed to act within 48 hours to take advantage of a rebate offer, and then proceeded to give me options ranging from $7-10,000 for a system replacement. I called Alan for a second opinion - he inspected and tested my furnace and AC, and walked me through everything. Our system doesnt need to be replaced. Alan just saved me thousands of dollars I didnt need to spend! And when my system does need to be replaced - Im calling Alan!

I wrote a review for the Wrong c&L, my apologies if it negatively impacted your ratings. Google wont delete this review. I had an awful experience with a different c&l HVAC but to be clear, I dont think they are the same company, they operate in different states.

We paid for a new furnace and a mini split from these people, it came to $9000. The furnace is very nice and works well. Although we asked repeatedly for the manual for the furnace and was told it was thrown away and they would get us a new one but no one ever did even after phoning them time and again. We were talked into a small furnace and I think it would have been better to go for one a little bigger. that is our fault we should have stuck to our guns on that one.The mini split however is another story this device is horrible. First we were very clear we wanted to have app access to control the heat and cooling in the house. the person who we met with just said this was the one you are getting. they did not offer us any other type of mini split. We came to find out this was bottom of the line and that it has absolutely no app access to it. The mini split does not keep a constant temp. If you set your temp to 70 you could get 65 or you could 78. That is bad enough as it is but we live in Kentucky and this mini split shuts down when the temp gets to 30 F outside. You would think they would have looked at this since they know what the weather in Kentucky is like.We asked to speak to the original person who came to sell us this stuff. I believe this was the owner but he never ever came back. He would always send some guy over who did not seem to know much about the mini split. We never did get the furnace manual which will suck when we want to sell the house. not to mention we have no idea if the furnace was registered for the warranty although they said it was we have no proof.They did the work in a timely manner and the install itself was well done but the problems above leave a sour taste in our mouth with this company.

I had new ac and heat uni put in. The installation had three code violations(one was a small gas leak) they had to come back and correct. Also they turned off gas which caused my hot water heater to shut off . They never re lite the hot water heater. I feel their quality is poor.They came back a second time and installed a exhaust cap. Code made them install it. It blew off with in a week. Calling back to put back on the vent firmly. I am in the process of building a duplex. I will not use them again because on the code violations and lack of a quality installation.

They all are really nice group of employees. The owner was a pleasure too work with. Will recommend this place if you are looking for HVAC work.

They were extremely reasonable in their pricing, honest, trustworthy, professional, on time, courteous, followed COVID-19 protocols and responded quickly to our need. They did not try to up-sell us on a new unit like Elite Heating and Air Conditioning did. After several interactions with Elite Heating and Air over the years, I finally decided to research other companies for my HVAC needs since I did not trust Elites recommendations anymore because every time they came to provide a service, they always wanted to sell me a new unit. This company was fast coming out when my AC went out and got me scheduled quickly. I received estimates from 4 different companies and C&L were the most reasonable and did a fantastic job! Doug even dug up a small tree forming next to my outside unit, I felt he went above and beyond! I was very satisfied with the quality unit I received and the price!

Allen went right in to work during his lunchtime, within like 4 hours since I met Mr. Allen earlier in the day, I had a brand new heater installed. I was like this had a be a miracle. Further, he explained exactly what the issue was and how he fixed it. I also felt confident that I was receiving not just a fair, but competitive, price for the repair and service. It’s not easy during warm months (and on Derby weekend) to get your AC repaired within 24 hours, but C&L was able to do it. I super-highly recommend C&L!!

Our entire heating and air had to be replaced. We called around to a few different companies and C&L gave the most honest and affordable estimate. They were able to work around our schedules and set up an appointment that worked within our time frame.The guys who came out to do the work were professional and courteous. My AC went out on Labor Day and the house stayed a warm 83 degrees all Labor Day. I called around and understandably most places were closed. Alan, the owner, had someone first thing Tuesday morning come and take a look. Unfortunately the AC unit itself was bad and I didn’t want the kids to suffer in a warm house again. I chose to replace the unit. Alan was fair and my past experiences with other heating and air companies, I knew Alan’s price was around the ballpark figure I had in mind. Alan was professional and friendly and had his guys Doug and Cody(great guys) come out from another job to get it done same day and I can’t express how grateful I am. I don’t typically write reviews but I felt this was definitely worth it. I highly recommend them.

Allan was great! Super courteous, prompt and explained everything to us. He called me back within the hour was able to come out to service our broken furnace the SAME day. I had called a couple other businesses and they didnt even call me back for several hours. When they finally did, they didnt have any openings for days. Sounds like C & L is a small family run business.Allan was able to fix what was wrong on our furnace on the cheap. When it acted up again we had them come out to check on it. It turns out that we needed to replace our furnace. Allan deducted the previous service call charges from the cost to replace it. They were able to get it installed the very next day. I had a appointment that was made days in advance to have the owner call 10 minutes after the the 9 oclock appointment to start to say the tech would be late. Before I made the appointment I informed the owner that I work nights his tech showed up 3.5 hours later.

Our air conditioner stopped working yesterday so I checked the Internet for a local company and chose C and L based on there reviews. Based on there expectional rating my expectations were high and I have to say they exceeded my expectations. I called them in the morning and they arrived the same day! The repairman not only fixed the problem but took the time to explain what was wrong with our AC system. Never once did I feel that I was being mislead or scammed about what was wrong with our AC- and believe me that has been the case with other companies in the past. This guy came out and worked on my dads AC. It was an older unit so my dad wasnt expecting much, but C and L replaced a few parts and gave it a charge and it worked better then I ever could have expected. He could of just told my dad to replace it to get some money out of us, but he did the right thing for the customer. He said if what he did, didnt make it better he would come out again to try some more stuff. Stand up company, trust worthy and will take care of their customers until the end. My father and I will be using this company for any of our future needs as it pertains to heating and air needs.
