During my hunt for my new rental home in LA I encountered pacific listings to have the most unbelievably rude staff. I had called them a few times for inquiries about one of their listed properties and they were rude disrespectful and just plain mean. Then when I asked my relator to reach out on my behalf they further were then rude and dismissive to her. Not to mention they have a property listed to have 5 bedrooms, but you must walk through a different bedroom to access it. This means that the does not technically qualify as a bedroom....even I know that. Embarrassing.
Dont apply unless you have excellent credit
Disorganized and unprofessional. Loose with housing laws. Property manager at Hayworth a mess.
DO NOT, I repeat again, DO NOT use this company. The agent chose to not do the bare minimum and I had to fill out the application, completely. Then the agent, told me that they needed a drivers license instead of an American passport. Which makes no sense as it is a governmental ID. Then he gave me a hard time for not having a drivers license... he had a very sparky attitude and was only remorseful when he realized he messed up. Finally the organization is terrible as noone answers the phone. Finally, the organization is terrible. I believe they ran my credit and others at the same time for an apartment and the owner could select which ever one they wanted. I believe this because they said my credit was significantly lower than it usually is. I have always had credit over 700 and usually 720-760, because I apply for credit cards over the years. In conclusion, use a different resource. The credit they denied is 720 from Transunion.
My girlfriend and I came across a listing from Pacific Listings and we knew we had to act fast. They had photos, video, and a lot of information about the unit. They were clear, transparent and responded quickly to all of our questions. Allyssa specifically made the lease execution so easy and it was a pleasure working with her!
Hands down the best listing site for viewing apartments in the LA area. They list quality units, they put up a video tour of each unit and they make it really easy and convenient to view properties. I came in town for just a few days just to view apartments and I saw many apartments that were listed by them and ended up renting one. I also spoke with Alex before I applied for this apartment and he gave me some really good tips on making sure I secure the apartment (applicants can be competitive for good units). I highly recommend, great listing site!
I like to change scenery often, so I move every few years. Pacific Listings has been great to me whenever I wanted to find a new home in Los Angeles. I’ve never regretted a lease I’ve made through them.
California apartment shopping is not easy. I was looking for months before I started working with Pacific Listings in Los Angeles. They just know more about all their listings than most companies and they made making the decision to move that much easier.
A real scum bag.!Watch out and be carful dealing with alex. Not trust wordy .
