I have been coming here at least once a week for about a year. So far I have really enjoyed this gym. They change the problems at a nice tempo, leaving them up long enough to try one for a few session but changing often enough to not run out of new problems. The layout is also quite nice here and the staff has always been friendly. Pretty sure Ill stay a long term customer at this rate.

Been climbing here 4 months now. Have climbed at many gyms across the nation. Nice people here and the space has a lot of potential. However, the routes are not rotated frequently enough, and are lacking in imagination. Moreover, when the routes are changed, the setters quite often just adjust/spin/replace a couple holds on the route and call it “new.” Lastly, the routes are graded very soft—on average, about 2 grades higher than they should be.A bit of mental re-calibration fixes that. I climb at a pretty consistent v7 level, and can climb v-9’s here with a bit of projecting.Other than that, this gym is fantastic.

This was a really fun bouldering experience. We met one of the owners and she was super friendly and patient. The building was clean and there were plenty of routes to choose from for any climbing level. The building is a little bit tricky to get to with how the connecting roads are laid out. Well be back again for sure.

🙌 I tried many climbing gyms, and the Longmont Climbing Collective is the best in the state. The gym is very well-maintained, and everyone is welcome, from the total beginner to the climbing expert. The community is one of the best parts of the place. Everyone is super friendly, and people get to know each other. I could recommend this place higher. The monthly investment is well worth it, and the value they add to our community is phenomenal. The classes I agree bonus. Also, the gym feels like a CrossFit gym, which allows you to do all the main workouts, To CrossFit, and bodyweight workouts as well. If you’re thinking about joining, do it now. It’s well worth the investment.🤙

Separating the month to month and the monthly recurring in price is a bit strange. But its a good gym for bouldering, and a fun place to come with friends thanks to their once monthly guest pass. Although once a month is a bit infrequent if you like climbing with your more casual friends. A weekly guest pass would be more fun.

In addition to the climbing walls theres also a modest but well stocked general workout area thats great if you want to do some cross training and then reward yourself with climbing.

This gym is beautiful! The boulder problems are some of the best I’ve ever gotten on. They are so interesting and fun and really mimic outside more than any gym I’ve been too. In less than a month this gym has already made me a better climber. Fortunately, that’s not all! They offer awesome free yoga and classes, that are targeted and thoughtful. Glad to see they have top of the line personal training and climbing training as well. This gym is top of the line, very excited to be apart of the community there.

This is a nice clean new facility. Great for trainings- there are 3 angle adjustable walls- a HUGE spray wall great for ARCing, a kilter board, and another. Every time I’ve been there, the staff is very kind and community oriented. I’m only climbed during lunchtime so I haven’t had the time to interact with the regulars, but will have to soon. The setting is unique, wall angles offer a wide variety to try. I will admit that sometimes I find the routes to be unnecessarily reachy and can alienate a strong but shorter climber.

We climb here regularly and love it. However, I wanted to say how great this was for Birthday Parties. We had our sons 11th Birthday here and it was great, the price included admission, shoes and instruction for 10 kids. Even a few parents stayed and climbed with us. They have a loft upstairs that was great to set out food, presents, and have a place to gather and re charge when the kids get tired.Give them a buzz and inquire about the birthday party packages. It was really fun.

I wasnt at the gym, but while at a competition at LCC my son fell and needed to be transported to a hospital for surgery. While I know there is always risk involved in the sport, it seemed that the routes may have been poorly set. In all the comps Ive been to Ive only seen an ambulance come once. When my son was picked up they told him it was their third trip that day! They are also hosting the bouldering regionals competition so I sure hope they do a better job and do whatever they need to increase the safety!

Great gym and walls are designed well. But the padding is WAY too stiff. Ive always been scared to take a legitimate uncontrolled fall from one of the problems. I finally tested my theory and fell onto my back with my feet in the air from standing and the matt nearly knocked the wind out of me!If someone takes a real fall from up high they are gonna break a rib for sure. Other than that this is a great gym and layout. It keeps me from pushing hard like I can at a competitors gym. Always a little reserved on hard moves towards the top because I dont want to break and ankle or something.Invest in better padding please :)Thank you!Edit: Thanks for the response. I know I have taken legitimate uncontrolled falls pushing hard from the highest wall at a competitors gym and landed gracefully into a nice soft pad. Falling from the standing position at this gym nearly knocked the wind out of me and it physically hurt. No way would I be comfortable taking a fall from the highest point on the wall here. No way.I appreciate your response, I have had this conversation with some other climbers and they feel the same way. I just want to provide constructive feedback :) I will still climb here, but always not climbing 100% at the top. Thank you.
