This is my first Google review which speaks to how great of an experience I had at Yellow Rose with Ryan. After consulting for a few minutes, he knew what I was looking for and executed perfectly! Great cut with excellent attention to detail by a super cool dude. After searching DFW for months, finally found a tried and true barber. Book Ryan, you won’t regret it!

Been looking for a new barbershop after moving to the Dallas area and was very impressed with this barbershop. Ryan did an excellent job with every aspect of my cut and beard trim. Looking forward to returning!

My favorite barbershop in Dallas. I’ve been through two barbers at this place (first one moved). And Ryan became my new barber for the past year or so. Ryan is a fantastic barber and is incredibly detail oriented. He’s great with communication and isn’t overly chatty, just enough to make sure that you are doing well and that he is giving you the haircut that you want.

They give you a excelent haircut and and a beer on a hot summer day. What else do you want? Five stars.

Been a regular at the shop for awhile and the person to see is Ryan, he will leave you looking cleaner than a 1965 Lincoln continental with suicide doors. All the other babers are talented but go visit my boy Ryan

The place is super chill and place was clean. I went there to get a nice fade but I felt I was rushed as there was another customer waiting after me. My haircut looks shabby at the back as it wasnt blended well at all.I didnt wanted to be rude so I just walked away. Also gave 20% tip.My friend asked me if I did my own fade and I totally understand his question.

I found Yellow Rose on an evening walk and went in to inquire about a haircut. I was able to make an appointment for the next day. Archie cut my hair and he is WONDERFUL! He listens, provided insight and had great energy. Im usually apprehensive about going to barbershops because men arent the most welcoming to women in these spaces. I felt at ease at Yellow Rose. The shop is very calm, peaceful and beautifully decorated. I cant wait to go back!

Great barbers who do a great job! I appreciated Gabe doing a great job and helping me look my best. I had family photos scheduled for that afternoon and life had happened and I didn’t get my hair cut beforehand. Gabe got me in that day, did a wonderful job, and got me to the shoot with time to spare.I didn’t have a chance to enjoy any of the other amenities offered by them, but my daughter enjoyed sitting in the oversized leather couch, sipping on a soft drink. I will definitely be going back!

Just received one of the best, if not the best hair cuts in my life. Derrick heard what I was aiming for and let me tell you he nailed it! My haircut looks so good had to kiss myself.

Yellow Rose is one of the best barbershops in Dallas hands down. I spent a long time looking for the right place and I was convinced from the first cut. Armando is the best barber I’ve been to, both in his technique and customer service. I definitely recommend this place.

Barbers here change too much. $40 for a cut and I don’t even get a razor line up? Won’t be back

Tanner has been a great barber. He remembers my cut and style, and his shop is always inviting. Theres beer, coffee, usually some interesting cult TV, and heavy rotation of good metal on the radio.

Had a great experience today getting a haircut from Armando. He was extremely helpful in explaining why he was cutting certain ways, and how to better achieve the styling I was looking for. The atmosphere was very inviting, not your typical chain haircut establishment at all, which made it even better. I’ll definitely be coming back here for all my haircuts!

Found this gem a few months back when they were the only place with a walk in spot. Best haircut I have ever had! Fast forward a few months and you have to book a week ahead to get an appointment. Awesome place, great atmosphere, great service, great people. This is my go to spot.

I just had my first haircut and beard trim at this place with Jesse Navarro. I dont say it lightly when I say its probably the best haircut Ive had. Jesse took my suggestions and turned my hair into a masterpiece. Was it the number 3 fade I said? No, this isnt Supercuts. This is a place that wants to make you look good. They take what you want and make an amalgamation of what you want and what you need. Do you go to the mechanic and say its my water pump; fix that. No, you dont. I came out looking and feeling great. Youve made a customer for life.

Armando is the absolute best for a fade. He always on time and I always go home with a great cut.

I’ve been to several barber shops, one of which I won’t name but rhymes with lloyd and it’s true what they say. You get what you pay for. I tried several people at said nameless shop and none but one gave me a decent cut. I’ve been to Yellow Rose five times now, trying 3 different professionals and they all did an amazing job. I can just show them a picture and they make it happen. I’ll tell them what I’m going for or how I want to style my hair and they do the rest. My favorite would be Destynee because she has the gentlest hands but I can guarantee whoever you pick will give you a quality cut. Don’t look elsewhere

Welp, it took 6 years but I finally found my permanent Dallas barbershop. Before I get too far into this review, I want to be clear that prying a compliment out of me damn near takes a crowbar. I have high standards for myself and for others. Ryan West and Yellow Rose Barber Shop FAR exceeded my expectations.Everything about my visit was on point. I got a friendly greeting immediately upon entry. Not the angsty, slacker, hipster whats up?, head nod. I mean, the guy walked from around his desk, had a nice big smile, welcomed me, asked for my name, checked me in and introduced me to my barber (Ryan). So right away, I was impressed. But Ive had LOTS of bad barbers so my expectations were tempered.Id had a VERY bad morning and Ryan instantly countered my bad mood. This guy is like a cup of Zen. So friendly, and calming, polite and passionate about his job. It was like meeting a friend. So all of thats great, but what about the haircut, right?Honestly, it was the best haircut Ive had in years. Ryan is more than a barber, hes a consultant. He asked questions, offered advice, checked in periodically to see if he was headed in the right direction and while doing all of this, wove in great conversation and earned a loyal customer.I came home, went to their online scheduler and booked an appointment every two weeks (approximately) for as far out as their schedule would allow. Im sold.Bottom line, I dont care where youve been going, try this place. They pull off a hat trick by achieving a super cool vibe but in a welcoming, friendly, approachable way. The interior is dope AF, the service is great and the barbers are, well, actual barbers who know what theyre doing and are passionate about good results. A+.

Used to go to the owners previous store cuts and glory and always had good experiences. The new shop is very nice and is easy to find parking around. Staff is friendly and easy to talk to. Always get a superb haircut from them and highly recommend for someone looking for a barber.

Layrite has been my go-to for the past 2 years since I started getting my hair cuts here. To top it off, your cut comes with a cold one. Great place, love the setup and staff. I was going to Bonafide the last couple of years and liked it a lot but went back and forth between it and Yellow Rose the last several cuts. What sold me was how conscientious Ryan is in addition to the awesome job that he does. The minute I walked in this time he immediately apologized for not giving me the hard part I asked for last time, which was weeks ago--I honestly couldnt believe he remembered. That kind of care really makes a difference. My last visit to Bonafide, my barber cut the hell out of my head with his clippers and didnt even say anything--I didnt really notice at the time but when I got home my wife was like, what the hell happened to your head? It looks terrible! So thank you to Ryan and Yellow Rose for really taking the time to make people feel that they are being taken care of.

Cheers to Tanner for opening this rad (down to earth) barbershop. They may have tattoos but they don’t treat you like your less than them. I always book an appointment a day or two ahead. Love the look and feel of the place and they have some good cheap beer in the fridge. BONU!

Destynee is the best barber Ive ever been to. I have very straight course hair as an asian guy. Ive struggled to find someone who can cut my hair right. Every cut has been perfect with her. Definitely will come back if Im back in town.

As long as Im living in Dallas Ill be going to this barber. Ive been to a lot of barbers before Yellow Rose, looking for that true barber experience - the one shop that gets it; whos focused on the individual - that a lot of guys looks for, and this place is exactly it. There are good barbers, and then there are great barbers like this crew. I walked in with five months worth of beard growth, nervous to ruin it, and walked out planning my next cut. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Im not sure where he problem was coming from but the place smelled pretty bad. The haircut took forever and wasnt all that great. Perhaps it just didnt work for me.

The atmosphere here is like a tattoo shop and the cuts are the BEST!!! They give beer out to customers who are waiting. Give this place a try and I promise you won’t be disappointed. My barber, Tanner, knows his stuff. An artist with the scissors!!!

I’ve tried all of the major men’s barbershops in the metroplex, and Yellow Rose exceeds beyond all of them. Everyone in this shop is highly competent and can give a great cut.Ryan West is the best barber I have ever had, and it took me four years to find someone with his skill. With Ryan, you can explain what you want, he will ask specific questions, and then he will fill in the blanks from his experience and make it work.Don’t waste your time with all of these other fake “barbers” in the metroplex. Just make an appointment with Ryan, Tanner, or Destynee, and you will be a return customer.

Great people and a very detailed haircut. Atmosphere is awesome and they have every product you could need. It is a more expensive haircut but worth it for the elevated look.

Not worth the 30 they charge. 2nd time I’ve been here I would of thaught they give a nice clean cut but it wasn’t didn’t even use the blade to shave so it can look shave . Advice don’t go waste 30 dollars is not worth it the girl looked like she can cut clean but super busy

Coolest barber shop Ive been to in Dallas, Ive been to other high end barber/beard salons (I.e. Brass Tacks, etc.) and the vibe and personality of this place is second to none. Old fashioned puffed leather chairs and a vintage rock and roll vibe give the large waiting area a sense of timelessness and class. The products they sell are high quality, the barbers Tanner and Shannon are super helpful in finding a product that is just right for your hair style...Last but not least these guys are wizards with the sheers. Fades, pompadores, classic cuts, beard trim service, hot towel service, straight razor shave and just a good ol fashioned chill convo. Highly recommend to all
