This is a pretty decent gym. Ive been going here for a half a year now. A lot of the stuff is old, run-down and a quarter of the equipment is broken and has been for the entirety of my membership. Staff told me that their one and only mechanic for all of their gyms was in jail and just got out so he cant get here to repair equipment. Get a new mechanic??All around the place is clean and I can get a good workout in if I go at the right time. But its kinda small and there are some key pieces of equipment missing. Go to Golds or Planet Fitness if you want newer equipment and a bigger selection.

Wow! After being a member for 15 years, I would have given this club a five star review, however along with many other folks, their billing practices leave a lot to be desired.I have been paying via automatic payment for nearly two decades, and have not used this club but a handful of times since Covid. If I have been there 6 times in 2 years it would be a miracle.So rather than continue to pay, I decided to cancel my membership.You have to email a third party in order to do this. So I did.I am aware that you have to give 30 days notice in order to cancel and was well aware that I would have to pay ANOTHER months membership fee, despite the fact that I am not attending. OK, I can live with that.However, since it is September, they are telling me that I also have to pay the additional $20 maintenance fee. Had I notified them last month, then I would be exempt. What!This is unacceptable treatment for any member and I have been going back and forth via email, as there is no way to actually speak with someone regarding this. As a valued long time member, that has continued to pay without getting any benefit (I went primarily for the classes which have been non-existent since Covid), I have asked them to waive the $20 maintenance fee. Nope. All I get is the same drivel stating that I must pay it since it is in September.I have asked for the contact information for the owner or manager of the Longmont Club but the third party billing company does not have this information. Call the physical club and nobody answers the phone. I have called the physical club AGAIN just now, and of course there was no answer. I left a message and can update this review if and when I get a response. I guess I will have to drive up to the club and hope that a manager is on the premises when I do.Frustration level is high.Beware if you join this club. And if you need to cancel, do it before September.

This place is fantastic. It stayed open during all of covid and the entire community respected the rules set in place to keep us safe. Its always clean and never crowded. Truly it was the one spot of normality during the pandemic.

The gym is great, very clean and well maintained. However, I am writing this review about the corporate Anytime Fitness. I have been diligently trying to cancel both my and my husbands accounts. This has been going on since March 2020. I met with an awesome team member last summer after the shutdown and he said our accounts have been cancelled.However, I have been charged every month since then for our memberships. I have been calling the corporate account since, and they continue to tell me that we have not done the actions correctly to cancel our accounts. I have since learned that Anytime Fitness franchises use multiple outsources for memberships, finances, and account billling. Because of these multiple outsources, there is no chance of ever communicating with the correct department to cancel a membership.I have spent over $40/month since March 2020 as an automatic withdrawal for our “membership” when being told in the meantime our membership was cancelled. Every time I saw this automatic withdrawal, I tried to contact the location-was sent to call the “corporate” account- and then sent to another third party who has done nothing to officially cancel our accounts.As of now, we have not been to our neighborhood Longmont Anytime Fitness location since the end of 2019, been trying for over a year to cancel our memberships, have been reprimanded from the corporate company, and still paying from our automated payment memberships (that we TRIED TO END AND STOP FROM OUR BANK ACCOUNTS)I’m beyond frustrated. I’m angry. Cancel my and my husbands account. We are reporting Anytime Fitness to the BBB as we speak.Do not get a membership here.

I have a membership and travel alot to various Anytime Fitnesses. This one is pretty decent. Equipment is older but still functional. Quite a few machines are in disrepair. 2 shower heads in the 3 showers are broken. Very small stretching area. Decently busy but there is no wait time for machines.

Pretty good, but could definitely be improved. Sometimes its hard to get access to certain machines. One jerk will hog the only bench or squat rack for an hour+. Yet, theres machines Ive never seen anyone use... Machines stay broken for a while. Ellipticals have had shredded hand grips for months.

I just moved to Longmont and started the gym again after 1 year. The gym is super clean,just how i like it i say this cus some previous experiences at other gyms. Good job

No one bugs me when working out. And its just a great gym in my opinion.

Super kind staff who are actually willing to listen to what physical issues Im having and then showing me what exact machines to use / not use / work up to!Ive personally taken time to talk to all the trainers and theyve all been incredibly helpful, plus you cant beat only $30 a month for a place thats open 24hrs :))

I was extremely impressed by the communication and the service that the manager, Jeremy provided when I inquired about a trial of the facility. He asked me my goals and made me feel very comfortable right away, but on top of all that he went out of his way to make sure I got the FOB to get my trial in, Litterally met with me outside of the gym to get it to me. That level of service shows as the gym was very clean and had a staff member cleaning while I was there.I think I found my home gym!

Management will lie to you and treat your concerns with complete disrespect. I could not return after they had closed due to covid concerns. I contacted the manager directly to cancel in early October and have his voice message confirmation saved on my phone and he still denies the contact. I had to pay Annual, Sept, Oct & Nov. Now, I am in collection for Dec, Jan & Feb plus fees. Manager and ABC Fitness (3rd Party) are completely unethical in my opinion.

This place does not enforce masks and it’s own employees show complete disregard for their clients and the communities health by not wearing masks around the facility. I’m surprised they haven’t been shut down yet. Machines are continuously broken as well as the tanning beds. The new management has completely run this place into the ground.

Been a member for a while and once they went to a new management this place fell off there’s been a broken bathroom since the start of 2021 and their water dispenser always breaks down

Absolutely the biggest, cleanest, and most professional Anytime Ive ever been to. Plenty of machines and weights for people who like to lift heavy or just get a good sweat

Dishonest membership fees and unprofessional communications. I understand billing is handled by a 3rd party (ABC Financial) and that Covid-19 changes things a lot, but these facts do not change the obligations Dennis (and indirectly, George) made to me regarding how I would be billed. Now, I am having to jump through hoops to appeal to ABC Financial regarding refunds, cancellations, and other billing inquiries.

I love it here! They have lot of equipment and it’s always really clean. The prices are not bad at all compared to other gyms. The staff is sooo awesome and nice!!! I’m happy I got a membership here. Definitely with it

I was a member for years. Today I called to try to make a payment and I got screamed at and treated as if I was doing something wrong. I asked to speak with someone else or a manager. The guy wouldn’t stop screaming and said he was the owner and I couldn’t speak with anyone else. It’s a shame that they would lose a customer who has paid membership for the past 5 years or more and probably used their equipment a few times. There goes free money! They need someone that has customer service skills. Not someone threatening you with sending you to collections for one month not being paid due to my purse being stolen. What a shame.

I wanna say that Denise is an understanding person. He understood how important it is that my son being 12 and in boxing has a tournament coming up soon that he need to have training done and is needing the equipment to help my son to have a chance on success.in the ring. He had put a big smile on my face and a big smile on my sons face. Thank you. Thank you.

Has gone downhill and a matches what’s happening with Longmont. Attracting some of the worst types of people around town. Bathrooms are starting to become dirty and unkept. Gym rat types ruining it for the rest of the normal, nice people. Non-members sneaking in and clumping together in what seems like gangs of gym rats and to be frank, pure trash, esp. at night when staff leaves. Hurts to write this, but it’s the truth that most people think but dare not say. Have to go around 1pm to avoid all the sketch. If you are a normal, kind hard working citizen that respects people and expects similar civilized types of places, this is sadly not the place anymore.(Does this offend you? Good. Your world is falling apart right in front of your eyes and you’re doing nothing about it because you’re afraid of offending people. #truth.)

I signed up in May 2015. The person who did my paperwork DID NOT tell me that it would be a 3 year contract. Next time I go to a gym I better take the paperwork home and read it. I called to talk to someone about it 3 weeks later and I quote he said “Maybe you were just to excited about signing up that you didn’t remember the 3 year agreement.” Being upfront with customers will get you far, lying about your contracts won’t. As of today I no longer have a contract with them and have happily moved on.

Contracts are a huge scam. Please beware! Lots hidden in the fine print and impossible cancel. The employees will do anything to get you signed up then will forget your name as quick as they learned it.

Open all hours seems to be pretty busy most of the time lots of good people

Ive been a member of many different gyms, and for the price, its hard to beat this one. Best anytime fitness Ive been to - it isnt the same small, cookie-cutter anytime franchise that most others are. Manager is super friendly and attentive. Great free weight area, plenty of cardio options, & classes to jump into most of the week. If anything breaks, its fixed very quickly. My only complaint is parking is a pain during busy times but youll always find a spot somewhere.

Nice looking spot but has the following drawbacks:1. smaller than PF. PF has more equipment2. More expensive than PF3. No locker rooms (they use open lockers in the workout area monitored by surveillance cameras)I ended up going with PF.

I signed up for a membership and fully regret it. The staff only cares about signing you up for a long a contract as possible. The gym is small and usually crowded, despite what they told me. Still used the gym off/on. After extenuating circumstances and a horrible family tragedy, I ask to cancel my membership. The club could care less and sent me to their 3rd party ABC Financial to handle it. They also could not do anything, as the club decides what is acceptable reason to cancel. No one was helpful or cared, you will pay $$$$ for the membership and then cancel. Only care about the money. Super disappointed and would never use Anytime Fitness again, still trying to get cancel my membership because of the now financial burden.

My girlfriend and I signed up for a year contract here together, and came about 5 days a week for 5 to 6 months straight. Firstly, George signed us up, and he was awesome. He always made an effort to make friendly conversation, even remembering things about us, what we do, and our names. Small gym, but never had any issues with that. I would give 4 stars, but the old fat obnoxious white guy who works there as well made racist comments toward Native Americans to my girlfriend when he asked her what are you anyways??other than that, this gym is alright. A locker room would be nice as the bathrooms get backed up at times.

Sad to hear some of my favorite employees no longer work here due to the poor management

It is a clean, friendly place to enjoy a workout. There are plenty of cardio options as well as weight machines and free weights. The studio portion of the gym is equipped with most equipment needed for pilates, yoga, mat work or barre. It is also equipped with an audio visual component that has a variety of popular workout videos.

This gym always smells nasty af. I don’t know what weird funk it is but it smells horrible. Also both tanning beds are broken and don’t work. Other than that it’s ok lol.

Great gym!I tried a few other gyms in the area and really like this one. Huge selection of free weights and equipment, nice, open, well lit space. Everyone seems friendly and no gym rats!!

Anytime Fitness is by far the best gym Ive been to. Any problem that is reported in the gym gets resolved immediately, and I love the fact that everyone has access to the gym 24 hours a day. Id definitely recommend this gym.

Anytime Fitness uses deceptive sales tactics when recruiting members and is an unsafe environment. My family and I were told we could sign up for month to month membership even though they request a contract be signed, when I questioned the contract he said it was just a technicality and there would be no problem to cancel at any time and upon what I would call incredibly unsafe practices with their treadmills being left on and unattended, upon attempting to cancel all memberships with one week for my daughter and about two weeks for my son we have so far been unsuccessful in getting the owner and manager to cancel memberships or apply refunds.

I heard the manager yelling at the employees disrespectfully and would not consider talking to your emlpoyees in a rude manner I would not go back to that gym after what I heard

Editing this review as after some more thoughtful consideration I decided this was a good gym and decided to join afterall. Its always really clean, the staff is responsive when you have inquiries or comments. Signing up was a breeze for me and I was in and out in less then 15 mins total. It has all sorts of weights, machines, private bathrooms and showers etc. The only thing I wish they had that they no longer have is a standing tanning bed. 10/10.

The group fitness is AMAZING here. nothing fancy as far as amenities but the equipment is clean and works and is modern and again, the classes are fantastic full-body workouts that are constantly changing.

The staff are excellent and friendly. As well as very helpful and informative with what you are doing wrong and what you are doing right.

Ben going to this location for almost a year now. I love it. Heavy focus on lifting equipment with two full racks of both dumbells and barbells, and 4 squat racks. Excellent cardio options but I really like not having to wait for a spot to do my strength training.

I transferred from an Anytime in another state. Have never seen any management in the office and Ive gone at various times to workout. People looking to join the gym have asked me how to do so... I dont work for the gym and cannot point out who to talk to because management is non existant and the owner is MIA. The roof is leaking as there are buckets everywhere in the gym collecting water. There is minimal air conditioning in the building and they use giant fans to help circulate the air, which is not effective.

Demitri has provided outstanding training support. Under his guidance, I am very pleased with my progress after 4 months. Demitris focus on weight loss and muscle development has been very valuable. I recommend his services.

Nice gym overall, high pressure sales guys trying to get you to sign up. The parking is relatively tight as well.

Showers, towels, a tv room for the kiddos, trainers around, classes at different times, a separate studio if you want to go in and stretch, all kinds of weights and machines, and I get along well with Dennis. I travel a lot so I can use any Anytime club across the US. Dennis suspended my billing when I was in an area of NY that didnt have a gym close by.

When I first started my membership, I loved it; It was great for about six months. However, when my fiance and I began our membership, we were guranteed that if we needed to break out contract we would pay $100 plus whatever was owed on our account for that particular month. Here it is, almost a YEAR LATER that I have had to spend calling back and forth two different locations AND their corporate office in order to get that initial agreement taken care of. I feel like I was lied to and cheated; I finally FINALLY got them to agree that yes, that is what the initial agreement was and that I could pay it and not be taken to court. I spent about eight months getting annoying calls several times a day from their automated service about the bill we owed. While I think their policies are unclear, and they have horrible customer service, not to mention they seem much more interested in getting your money and membership than your fitness, I will say that their facilities are no joke; they have generally excellent equipment and nice patrons. The only problem really is at about 6 pm, when guys in any of the location I would go to would come in with about twenty gallons of axe on and proceed to scream/grunt their way through a single set of fifteen reps of whatever iron they were pumping. People complained to management, since a lot of us had allergies (let me tell you it was overpowering yeesh,) and they told us to deal with it, it wasnt their job. I feel that if you have more than ten people make a complaint about the same thing, then you, as an employee of the establishment, really do need to at least make an effort, like a sign or something at the VERY LEAST.... agh. If youre looking to pay through your nose and get just a regular gym (granted its open anytime, but that in the long run doesnt mean much,) then this is your gym. My suggestion is join your local rec center. Theyre usually cheaper, offer childcare, as well as community activities, group classes, personal training, and generally have a pool.

This place has tons of equipment but there is one employee there that has not been welcoming at all. After signing up for a membership I was heavily questioned if I actually had a membership even though I had a key.

Friendly staff and the gym is pretty well kept and clean.

Just like other people have mentioned, they lie to you about the details of the contract you are signing. Make sure you read all the details of the contract and dont listen to the bs they feed you.

Join any other gym besides here. There has NEVER been any staff there to help resolve (more than one) issue. I spent 2 months trying to settle a problem when they lost my check for a month and then tried to charge me late fees for it. It took more than a few calls to the main number for customer service and even they couldnt get anyone on the phone during the hours mentioned on the club voice message. The y finally found it and dropped the fees.They try a sales pitch that includes we have lots of security cameras! but this is not a bad neighborhood, the entry door is well secured and I can only assume they dont have staff on location to save a few dollars.Wish I could leave no stars.
