I have been going to DMG for well over 7 years and would never think to go anywhere else! I’ve gotten shellac and dip powder nails. Both are fantastic options. Danny and Mia are both kind, courteous, and take their time to ensure your nails look great. They treat you as friends not just as customers. Very clean and relaxing atmosphere. Be sure to make an appointment with them ASAP!

They use to be good. Made appointment, drove 40 minutes to get there, never bothered telling me they were over an hour and a half behind. Ridiculous! Time to find a new place!

Elegant, clean, organized and the staff is very clea and quite and GOOD, they really know what theyre doing.

I had the guy in there I think the owner husband and he was awful I paid 75 dollars and its like nothing was done. He just rushed through my hands and toes I had to tell him more then once to do things I was used to from other salons and he said. No time or just no. Never again so disappointed

They do a good job, the women there is super friendly, both are awesome at what they do. However Ive had some bizarre experiences with the man who works there. A few months back he was giving me acrylics and i was watching my hands as he was filling them. He looked at me and told me to not look at my hands while he was working on them.The rest of the nail session was awkward to say the least.

Most of the nail techs do a really nice job and I’ve been going there for years. I am sad that I am no longer a customer. My daughter and I both had appointments today and we always have to wait. Today DMG was in the middle of taking care of other customers and 15 minutes after our appointment time they took another customer over us. When I asked why I was told that this person had been waiting awhile. When I asked why we make appointments if they are going to take customer without appointments before us. Dan said that they (DMG) have to take people who come in and have been waiting. He said they don’t wait for their customers who have appointments. When I began to explain that I didn’t agree with that, that we were early for our appointment, and if that is the case they shouldn’t make appointments, Dan just walked away from me. My daughter and I left and we won’t be back. Poor customer service and this was from the owner. Not a very good way to create loyalty from your customers! I am extremely disappointed in Dan’s rudeness and lack of service.

First time at DMG Nails. The place is very nice, clean and spacious. Everything was fine until they used an electric file on my cuticles. Never saw that before, and it left some of my cuticles feeling as if theyd been cut. No actual cuts but dont know why they use that instrument for that purpose. I dont know if Ill be back.

I realize that I should make appointments but the last 3 times I’ve come in, I’ve waited 1 1/2 hrs to get taken care of, and this last time was asked to come back the next day since they had appointments. No one was waiting but it was just 2 of them. I think they need to hire more people to take care of walk ins, as walk ins are the people who become regulars. Very disappointing.

I went to DMG in search for a new salon closer to my home. The owner arrived late. I asked if she took walk-ins and she said no, and she was full for the day. She gave me a funny look, never offering to make an appointment for me or ask what services I needed. When I got home I called back to DMG and asked if they accepted walk-ins; I was told they did. I then asked why I was turned away earlier. Again I was told all appointments were full. I expressed that walk-ins expect to wait behind appointments to receive service, and I would not be coming back. I found another salon that took me as walk-in, did a beautiful job, and will now get my business. Thats how you increase your customer base. Customer service points: 0.

After going to DMG Nails in Livonia for a few months It was brought to my attention that they are damaging my nail beds and have been from day one, by using the electric drills to remove the shellac from my nails and your nails. My nails are the worst ever, I truly believe they know and do not care its not only the quick way, it is also Not the correct way to take off shellac, it is the lazy way, to remove shellac not to mention it damages your nail bed, are your nails paper thin, and weak? ladies wake up and do your research! Not to mention they are over price chrome polish an additional $25 -for polish. (really?) I dont think so! NOT to mention they do not extend the welcome and hello to everyone, They must realize everyones money is the same color Green.Sincerely, Loss Client.

DMG is usually my go-to favorite nail place! This time I had a new girl and safe to say I will never be back. She cut my cuticle so badly it bled for 20 minutes I felt like I was going to pass out. After I told her that it hurt, she was rude and had a problem when I asked for a second coat of polish and was trying to rush through it. The owner and his wife are so great and its a bummer I had such a bad experience this time.

I went in for a pedicure and Gel full set. The pedicure started out great, expect my toe nails were cut so short they look like a babies nails. Super tiny with all the skin around them. Also not very even. My full set was an even bigger nightmare. At this point a lot of people had come in and were waiting. He started to rush. A lot of the nails are uneven. He put on the coats of nail Polish very thick and didnt let them dry before applying yet another coat. One of my nails was supposed to have polka dots. These dots were uneven, different sizes and were just dashed on the nail without any structure, some were right on top of eachother and some were miles apart. But I had been there 2 hours at this point and just wanted to go home. I figured I could fix the dots. I stayed under the dryer for at least 20 minutes and babied them for the next hour like we all tend to do. Hours later if I even bumped my nails the Polish was denting and sliding around. I had to take all the Polish off. (This was when I noticed how uneven they were.) To top it all off not even 48 hours later the middle one broke off just transplanting plants in the back yard. No real labor. They are barely longer then my real nail. Shorter then sport length. How the hell does one just break inside a garden glove. By far the absolute worse place Ive been too. I really liked the guy who did them but this was just a damn mess.Im so disappointed I was so excited to get them done again. I just want to take them off and my feet are really rough still on the bottom 😓😢

Dont get a pedicure here! She soaked my feet in luke warm water, and cut my toe so bad that it kept bleeding, and my heels still felt the same as before I got there. I was also supposed to get my eyebrows waxed and to get a full set, but they forgot I wanted those services and took several people ahead of me, so I just paid for the awful pedicure and left.

After calling the place to see if they allow walk-ins, which they said YES, I drive here only to be told it’s appointments only!

They are gentle and take their time.
