My first visit and it was so great! Much better than the other few nail places that I’ve been and haven’t been thrilled with. The atmosphere was relaxing…the employees were busy but not overwhelmed. The actual service was so relaxing and I got exactly what I wanted

I kept asking for nails that werent as wide and she had to redo them three times and still didnt get it right so I had to fix them when I got home. Give me a picture I added of the two fingers my pointer finger has what I wanted while my middle finger is what I got. I took up a four picture to see just how wide and fat the nails were. I also got white tips and she glued them so low that they were ridiculous looking.

By far, the best nail salon in Livonia. I’ve been getting my nails done done for over 20 years and Jenifer is the best nail tech I’ve ever had, with exceptional attention to detail! Clean, friendly and quick.

Do not let their website fool you. It does not look like their online pics. My brother and I went for basic pedicures and they had not clean the chairs or the remote to the massaging chair so I had to use my sanitizer to clean it. They did put plastic in the bowl before they got ready to do our pedicure. Our pedicure was so rushed it was completely done in 20 minutes. Instead of being a relaxing experience it felt more like an assembly line and the lady that did my brother’s pedicure acted as though he was asking too much when he asked her to scrub a problem area more. My polish looks terrible because the clear coat was not put completely over the polish and toe so it has a line in the color polish. The room for waxing was dirty and so was the table they want you to lay on for eyebrow waxing. The lady who did the waxing was nice but I am disappointed overall.

Tee did ny nails and shes great, especially working with my disability.

My appointment was 10, technician came to me at 10:20. Explained the lateness as employees we’re late coming to work because of vaccine being administered. Other than the timeliness, everything was absolutely five stars. Going back in a month. Found my new pedicure place.

Today was the second time coming here. I enjoyed the service which was why I came back. Michael did my nails he did a great job. I just wasn’t satisfied with a snowflake he designed on my nails. I asked a young man that was in charged, he told me that they were too busy fix it. So Michael to the snowflake off. I explained to the young man how Michael did a good job, but I’m not a satisfied customer there should be enough time to make sure that I’m satisfied especially since I’m already here. He still insisted there was no one here that could help me. Not even himself whom just cashed out his own customer. I’ll be back but will make sure I go to the woman whom did my nails the first time.

It was a simple manicure. No acrylics just simple manicure.... The nail tech couldnt even file correct or trim the cuticle right. The polish wasnt great either.

Had a fantastic second experience here today. I got a pedicure here a couple months ago and that was a great time. I had been looking for a new place in the area to get my nails done since I moved out this way. Finally gave them a chance with my claws, and I will absolutely be coming back. No extra charge for shape or multiple colors. My nails look great and I didnt break the bank. I dont know the name of the woman who did my nails but having seen a few others getting their nails done, I wouldnt have a problem having anyone there do my nails again.

Went with my daughter today and we both received poor pedicures, Im looking at my toes and I could of done a better job, so disappointed. this was my third time there. first time was great. last two time the pedicures were messy and unfinished looking. Uneven toenails, did not trim the cuticles on toes. Will not be back. Not worth the $42.00 for the pedicure and manicure.,

First time coming to this Salon. They were busy but still fit me in, in a timely manner. Jasmine did a good job on my shellac manicure. Next time I will call for an appt. They are open on Sundays:)

They are very accommodating and reasonably priced while also offering the best pedicure I have ever had while traveling.

Went in today for the 1st mani pedi since the COVID19 pandemic hit and it was a MUCH needed treat for my sore pregnant lady feet! I made an appointment the afternoon prior for a shellac mani and classic pedi (there are lots of pedicure options, so be sure to select whats right for you). My appointment was set earlier in the day. I was seen right away when I came in. Both nail techs who worked on me today were pleasant and attentive, and the results are beautiful! Everyone is observing social distancing and wearing masks. There is plenty of hand sanitizer and fresh liners are being applied after every use of the pedi tubs. Great experience and I will be back for sure! Thank you!

The guy who did my pedi was very nice but didnt clean underneath the nails, didnt cut them evenly, and didnt file the edges. Very good massage portion and decent paint job.

This nail salon is my favorite. They do an excellent job. Not so proud I sometimes wait a month between sets. HOWEVER, it’s crazy they still look nice, even a whole month later. Great pricing for great work. Lots of people working so I don’t even need an appointment.

Just had my nails done ... the place is cozy people are nice but the nail filer looks old and materials are fairly used overall...the nail technician took a little too much off my nail and caused some bleeding without apology which was sad...I’m not a complainer, but I was sad with my overall experience .I’m all for supporting local business but I will not be returning ...I wouldn’t recommend it; if you’re looking for a new place ... keep looking ...again... I don’t like to complain but I hope this helps somebody make a better decision in the future :)

Went and got the dip powder. Site said it was 35 but I got an extension on my nail so I ended up paying 50 & then a 6 dollar tip. Wall advertised they dip it twice and the color is so opaque that it doesnt need more. The man dipped my nails probably 6-7 times. Theyre SO THICK & I also picked a matte gray color and my nails are extremely glittery. Never will I be back. The photos show the back part of the salon, not the front. I went because the salon looked nice but I wasnt impressed with the nail quality, customer service, or pricing as well as the environment. I cried when I left, my nails were so bad. Wont go back except to get my nails REMOVED.

Chose this nail salon because they have the dip powder I’ve been wanting to try (I usually get a regular manicure but wanted something more durable and longer lasting for vacation). While it’s difficult to figure out which salons offer this service their website was very clear and easy to navigate. Walked in at opening on Saturday and was taken care of right away. Mike did my pedicure and dip manicure quickly and precisely and was very nice. Their prices are fair, the salon was clean and organized, and the staff was friendly. Although this salon is a ~20 minute drive for me I will definitely be going back!

They have a lot of colors and offer dip powder and are very professional. Tools they use are clean. Just make sure you dont go during a busy time or you may have a wait, I highly recommend making an appointment in advance

This place is amazing! This was my first time coming here and I had the deluxe pedicure and full set gel nail with shellac. They did such an amazing job! They were impeccably clean, taking all tools out of sterilized bags, used disposable bags in the pedicure tubs, everything was just sharp and clean.Jennifer did my pedicure and nails and I loved her! She was sociable and took her time, and made sure everything was exactly the way I wanted it. I will 100% be back!!

Went to livonia nails for the second time today. The woman that did mine was absolutely amazing, she made sure every nail was to my liking. She asked lots of questions in a good way!! It felt like she was rushing but I think she just knew what she was doing because my nails look pristine and perfect! I will be back forsure

Went here for the first time on February 8th, 2020 to celebrate my birthday. I figured Id have to wait, since I came as a walk-in and it was a Friday night. The wait wasnt too bad, and I was pleased with the fast service. I got a french shellac manicure. I was very disappointed to find that it only lasted a WEEK! Ive had shellac before and its lasted close to a month without chipping....now I have two nails with the french tip peeled off and it looks ridiculous!

Very nice place and clean. Very detailed on the polish! Only complaint is during the pedicure they barely touched the bottoms of my feet, and to me thats the main reason for getting a pedicure so I probably wont be coming back.

Ive always had great experiences here! T is very detailed and takes her time with your nails. My dip manicure typically lasts at least a month. This has been the best nail salon Ive tried in the Northville/Novi/Livonia/Plymouth/Canton area.

I love coming to Livonia Nails. Mike is awesome and does a great job on my nails every time. If I break a nail they fix it for me. The dip power is amazing, last linger then shallac for me and doesnt ruin my nails.

This was the first time I have ever been here. Saw a 4+ review and wanted to try this place, but was very disappointed with the service. The attendant was rushing through to get me done. My pedi was finished even before I realized it had started. My previous polish was not removed completely. The finishing was terrible. Huge gap is seen between the polish and skin . Its the same with all fingers.

This place gives a good manicure and pedicure. I’ve had to reduce stars because the past 2 times I went in with an appointment I waited for 30 min past my appt time and was still told I would have to wait an additional 10+ minutes. I would recommend that they don’t take appointments if they can’t honor them.

Very clean place and staff are beyond friendly- they’re all very sweet and very professional. Prices are also great. Their services, however, are not great. Every manicure or pedicure I get here (regular, gel, dip powder, chrome, etc.) lasts about 2-3 days before it starts chipping. It is beyond irritating to have to go to the nail salon twice a week just to look presentable for work. Currently looking for a new nail salon in the area that’s as clean so I can make the switch. If you need something done quickly for an event or whatever though, I would stop in to this place. Their positivity and friendliness make it a decent spot to stop in when you’re in a bind.

Brought my mother, aunt, and grandmother in for pedicures. Worst service I have ever had. A deluxe pedicure took less than 20 minutes from the time we sat down. This was supposed to include massage, hot stone, nail trimming, and paint. Each of us only got maybe 30 seconds of massage and the lady that painted my nails got nail polish all over my toes. She was incredibly rude and did not even massage my legs or feet. This place had the best reviews out of everything near here and I was very disappointed. Last time I will get my nails done while I am out of town.

I came here because of how good the reviews were. Although I wasnt impressed with the pedicare I receive. It wasnt relaxing as it should had been. Even though everyone seems nice. I wish my buckets was worth spending here!!

This nail salon is much better than alpha nails the wait was 5 minutes max. Me and my mother were able to relax and enjoy the day together.

Ive been coming to this salon basically since they opened and although I havent had a perfect experience every time (because this is real life) the owners ALWAYS go above and beyond to fix any issues I may have as soon as they are brought to their attention. I see so many reviews saying my nails chipped two days later or my nails were left too long etc. but any time Ive had a problem with how my nails were done Mike and Tee ALWAYS fix the problem if theyre told about it. But if you wait until you leave the salon to complain, how are they supposed to know? Just last night, Tee redid my nails after there was some kind of strange shadow on them from the glitter not being mixed well enough prior to application, even though it wasnt that noticeable. Theyve even gone as far as to fix my nails when Ive messed up them up myself after Ive left the salon if I come back within the next couple of days. They really care about making sure their customers are as happy a possible and I think that attitude alone is worth 5 starts, not to mention the cleanliness of the environment, the amount of color choice and the speed and quality of their work. This is my absolute favorite nail place and I think everyone should give it a try!

I’ve been here a few times but this last time was a complete disaster. The technician cut me multiple times with the cuticle cutter after she had already started the dip powder. Blood was leaking into my dip powder and looked atrocious. Instead of trying to get the blood off she just kept doing more layers. Long story short I asked if she could make them look any better and she said no and now two days later they’ve all cracked and come off. What a complete waste of my money and time.

I have been getting my nails done here every 2 weeks for about 5 months. In that time I have concluded that the service is good, the place is pretty clean and my acrylics always turn out nice! I have made this place my new place to get my nails done!

Good entertainment. The only problem I have, when I got home and looked at my hands the polish was on my skin. I wish I would have seen that earlier.

First time here, very clean! I got a mani/pedi for a wedding and I was happy to see lining in the foot baths and they used fresh utensils from a sealed bag. Staff was very friendly as well. I’ll definitely come back here next time I need my nails and toes done!!

Went in for a manicure w/french, the gal tried to up sell me on powder or shallac and I said thank you but no. Apparently that made her mad as she rushed through, left rough edges only put on a single coat on the tips and a single coat of clear. Not worth it.

I have never had such a horrible experience. I booked mani/pedis for 4 and was assured we would all be together through the entire experience. We weren’t.I got a full set of acrylics for my mani, the white tips aren’t even, you can see my natural tip on 2 fingers, she didn’t push my cuticles back at all, the thickness is different on every nail and half of my nails have acrylic drippings under them!!!Another girl got a plain simple mani and her nails were messed up within hours because the coats of paint were put on so thickly and they shoo’d us out before she was done drying.Never. Again. Ever.

I appreciate that this is a clean/sanitary salon that doesn’t use improper tools. That noted, I am extremely unhappy that my nail technician cut the sides of my nails and did such a poor job on filing that some of my nails were jagged (they didn’t look jagged but they caught on my clothing later in the day and upon inspection they were a mess underneath). Anyway, I am in pain now that my nails are growing back. I wish I had realized she was cutting nail and not cuticles with the cuticle clippers. This is so painful. No nail tech should ever do this unless explicitly requested by the client.

The first 2 times I was there service was great. After that I’ve had to go back for peeling shellac after 3 days and now after only 2 days mani & pedi looking shabby. And I intentionally went at a time when they were not busy.

Two days after my SNS/Dip manicure, two nails cracked. Was out of town for the holidays so it took me a few days to come back. They were all so incredibly rude when I requested they fix them. Since they were broken so low i asked for tips, the guy scoffed and just walked away. Lady next to me was getting hers fixed too, her gel manicure lasted two days.Id find somewhere else.

They seem to take countless callins and never seem to be concerned about the walk ins I’ve been going there for a month but I’ll just pay the extra money at lee spa nails in lural park mall me and a additional lady say there for over a hour and by 3 the lady asked is there a chance we’re going to ever be seen in the next 30 minutes she said no and we both walked out

This place is NOT HYGIENIC!!! They do the dip powder right from the container that EVERYONES fingers have been in, instead of using a smaller seperate smaller container and discarding the remainders. AND my dip was supposed to last for 2 weeks and were peeling off at the cuticle within the first week. So gross and so disappointed.

I never been in a place soo clean like this place the service was beyond good staff were very nice and the wait was short i highly recommend Livonia Nails and while you there dont forget to stop by ALOUSH GRILL to try there delicious fresh Mediterranean food.
