When you ask for something specific or different they do just that. Very warm and caring staff.

Omg do not go here.. I was over charged and the guy would not do my nails the way and color I wanted. I ended up with the ugliest orange and I told him I was not satisfied.. He or they did not care I was basically ignored, I chiped a nail that same day I went back next day to have them fix it. Same guy rotten attitude and I told him I hated that color it was not the color I chose he just ignored me while the attitude continued fixing my nail.Never AGAIN

Went to 3 different nail salons before going to Cosmic Nails because every nail salon was closed on Presidents Day. I must say the hospitality was outstanding. When we arrived the manager was the only one there and she had 2 of us that needed 2 full ombre sets so she called in her other nail tech early to help. Thank You Ladies!

At first I really liked my nails, but then I noticed a lot of bubbles in my nails when I first got them done on Friday, and honestly my stiletto shape(that I did pay extra for) is all wonky on a couple nails. Then on Monday morning one broke, when I only had them for 3 days. I did then call them to see if they’d fix it, she said it was only her there that day but she could fix it any time tomorrow once she had more techs available. I went in after work yesterday around 6:30 to get it fixed, and she said it would be a 20/30 minute wait or to come back tomorrow. I waited cause I did already drive a half hour to get there, and it would have taken me 24 minutes to get home. I did wait and I did get it fixed but you can tell that she didn’t put as many coats as the other nails and the shape is a bit different than the rest. They are all very nice in there, but I will not be coming back because of the quality.

This guy did my nails and he cut my finger and now it is infected. It was also really unprofessional and they weren’t listening to what I wanted.

$25 for a basic manicure and $25 for a pedicure. The pricing on their website does not match what they charge. And the male who did my nails left them sloppy. Polish and top coat over my cuticles and surrounding skin. And missed painting sections of my nails. He also ran my card twice because he forgot to put an amount, then did not show me the first reciept.

Great experience I went with my mother during COVID and they were equipped and sanitary. They even took our temperature!! my mom agreed that they have done our favorite nail sets out of any other shop we have been to.. worth the price!

Don’t go here. It is the worst nail place I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been getting my nails done for years.

I had a wonder experience today! I got such a wonderful job done on my nails, which is hard to do with me having the issue with biting my nails. They look wonderful! I got the pink and white dip! Amazing!

I got my nails done by Tracy yesterday. I walked in without an appointment. I came in the morning on a Wednesday. There was one other customer inside and two employees so I did not have to wait. The shellac colors bin was sitting out on the coffee table in the wait area. The shellac bin looked like it could use some love, some of the color swatch rings were falling apart, but I was able to quickly find what I wanted. Tracy was very friendly. She did my nails very quickly and they turned out exactly what I wanted- basic, clean shellac manicure. The cost was $25.00. Cash is preferred. Visa ok. No checks. Can only tip w/ cash.I will post again if they start to chip early but so far, I love my nails and I plan to go back to Cosmic nails

I was wondering why my nails were hurting and burning so bad when the guy was doing my nails. And when I got home I noticed the “ring of fire” people complain about nail techs doing to their nails when they have overfilled too long. It was on almost every one of my nails! Now my nails have deep ridges in them which seems to be almost to the skin of the nail bed. Overpriced for the poor and hurtful way they do your nails.

First started going here in 2012, stopped for a while & now I’m back for good. Their prices are reasonable & the shape I get always looks great. Much better than Miss Nails next to Kroger with no wait time during the week!

So went here today to get my nails done first off together me and my sister paid 90 dollars for mani and pedi my sister polish came off before we left i got french tips and as you can see the acrylic is already coming off at the base and i just got it done today as well when getting my tips i wanted blue base with white tip and they wanted to charge more when usually your allowed to pick your colors i will not be going back

This place is not even worthy of a star.The manager Tracy is so rude and horrible customer service skills.The Place is filthy and is not sanitary. I have been getting my nails done and pedicure’s for over 35 years and has never wrote a bad review about a nail salon but this place takes the cake.They say one price and then charge you another.They do not care if you leave happy with their work or not. Tracy should get off the couch and playing on her phone and clean. I am surprised Livonia hasn’t shut them down.

I went there today and I got long coffin nails, I got a pink color called pinky promise and I was watching the lady do the full set and she did an amazing shape and you can tell she took her time and knew what she was doing she was careful and I told her do what ever she wanted and she did a amazing design on my nails. it was very affordable and price nicely I highly recommend cosmic.

When I first walked in, I noticed how clean and orderly the place was. It smelled nice, not like chemicals. The techs were talkative with the customers and showed a genuine interest in every person in the salon. The techs working establish a relationship with each customer. Above the atmosphere is the results. I have a hard time keeping a full set of acrylic nails on without any chipping or breaking. It has been almost two weeks and my nails still look great. The tech was gentle. I can honestly say I will be back.

Got my manicure done here and it was a wonderful experience! The nail tech working on me did everything perfectly! From filing my nails to putting detailed designs on each one of my nails! The services was really great! My nails were just beautiful after she was done!

Tina is good. Dont like the nail service of the manager. But everyone is nice.

You walked in and asked for a fill in shellac, you asked for the price in which you were told $30..later you asked your nail technician how much it would cost for glitter ombre on all of your fingers, he replied with, it would be an extra charge ($5). This is where you talked to our manager and she tried explaining to you why it costs extra for a glitter ombre, before letting her or any other technician finish explaining, you got very mad and said no other nail shops charge for this design, which for the most part is not true. Now addressing your comment on we dont care if our customers are happy with the job.. before you left you told your technician that he did a good job on your nails and that you liked them. Moving on to your sanitary comment, we have been open since 9AM and close at 7:30PM, our shop is open all day with customers in and out and us working so naturally our shop gets dirty but EVERY Saturday we deep clean the shop once our last customer leaves, so I assure you that the shop is very sanitary and clean.-from one of the nail technicians that was there

Ive been going to Cosmic Nails for over a year. The service and price are the best. Everything is very clean. Lisa rocks, but all the nail techs are excellent. Love you guys!

I would give this place 5 stars due to the friendly staff. The nail job isn’t always the greatest but I continue to go due to the friendly staff and usually no wait to get them done. This is a review of the acrylic nails by the way so your experience on quality might be better or worse.

Just got my nails done. I got a French manicure with some details. They were all very friendly and helpful. I walked in and they took me back. The place is very clean. I look forward to going back to get my nails done for my wedding. Thanks again ladies.

Don’t go there they are not clean use old tools that are not sanitized I had to ask for that! I walk in after I call and ask if there’s an opening I say I’m 2 minutes away they say come now I wait 20 minutes I say that’s ok I ask for manicure and pedicure they say $35 there price on the wall says $35 dollars and they have the nerve to tell me it’s $45 when they are done since when do they charge for buffing men’s nails it always been that price there not $45 there not very busy and now I see why they try and cheat you to get as much money as they can horrible will never go back

Pedicure and corrective acrylic fill here. Another place ruined my coffin shape and the guy here must be a wizard because theyre so beautiful after his effort to fix them. Couldnt be happier. English savvy (for those who care about that sort of thing. To me, skill is skill regardless of their preferred language). This is my new place of choice. Beautiful job.

I absolutely LOVE this salon. The staff is very friendly and do awesome work. I get gel nails since I have a hard time with them lifting. They are the only place that has been able to get my nails to stay on!!!

Place is filthy. Tech pulled my cuticles until they bled then painted over blood. All you people who rave about this place better make sure they are disinfecting tools. Price was reasonable but would rather pay more for cleanliness.

Took my girlfriend here to get her nails done, exceptional service and very friendly staff. The guy nail tech is extremely funny and makes waiting for your girl easier!

I have never posted a negative review, but I feel strongly on this one. About a month ago, I went in to get a dipping powder mani. Throughout the appointment, the nail tech was FaceTiming with her phone on the table. She had an order of applying the top coats which was odd, something I have never seen any other tech do. She did not use any UV lights. By the next day, a nail had chipped. I went back immediately and a different nail tech corrected it, using UV for drying. Within 4 days, the other 9 nails had a completely shattered, scratched/cracked look. I went back for a 3rd time and requested a refund. They told me “no, we will fix it.” They sent me to my original nail tech who seemed bothered that I wanted a refund. She did the exact same process as before, and within the week, 9 of my nails had the top coat cracking. By the 2nd week, 9 of the nails were literally breaking off. I had to remove the only decent nail myself. I went to a different place and explained what had happened and they were completely dumbfounded at the process this place used. The tech who fixed my single nail on my second visit was very polite and did a good job, but unfortunately I will not ever be returning to this salon. Please educate your nail techs on the dipping powder process if you’re going to offer it. I truly wish I would have just received a refund rather than all the hassle I went through for very poor work throughout a total of 3 visits.

On August 28th I called for an appointment to remove the shelac on my finger nails. When I arrived at my appointment time-6:15, the owner quickly looked around and said, were busy, can you come back tomorrow? I looked around and saw only three customers in the salon. I wont go back to a salon that cant handle 4 customers in an evening and doesnt honor an appointment.

They are so nice here but... I got acrylics on for 2 days and they are already lifting. The girl who did mine rushed. My friend was getting gel nails took longer than me. I came here before to get acrylics on and they stayed for about a 5 months but then I took them off. But 2 days. There not even thick like acrylics. Not even as thick as gel nails. The last never talked to me she put coffin shaped nails on me when I asked for square. I had to pay 5 dollars extra for what I did not want. She got mad I did not get gel... But my old experience was perfect they never lifted or anything and I am very good with my nails. And my real nails are like chipping away. Only ask to see the other ladys exept. The one with the long dark black hair with like red or pink highlights. The others are amazing they are miracle workers. Now o wish I gave her like a .50 tip. I could do better than what I just got done. And I never did acrylic nails in my life.A week later one completely lifted and fell off. If you are going to have acrylic nails on the menu get good tools and supplies for it.

Been going for 10yrs and been happy. But when I needed to get in bus card said open til 8pm and its was 6:45. Not happy.

Update #2: REDEEMED. The lady that hurt my foot last year doesnt work there anymore, people wear their masks, and Tracy and Toan always do a great job! Im happy with the improvements.Update #1: I went in today and got a mani/pedi and they were fine. HOWEVER, their sign clearly says masks are required and once inside they take your temp and have you fill out a short form. Fine. But as im being serviced they allow a blonde woman to come in to get her nails done with no mask!!! And the first thing she said when she sat down was Im about tired of this corona sh#t.So after she left I discreetly said to the guy who did her nails I thought masks were required? And he said Yes, they are. (Insert awkward pause) Oh! LOL she didnt have one 😅I really want to like this place and wanted to give them another chance but I honestly dont think there should be any exceptions to rules of public safety. Literally every other customer was respectful enough to wear their masks including myself. At least care about your customers enough to enforce your own rules to keep us ALL SAFE. NO EXCEPTIONS! I cant, with good conscience come back here.

Pedicure chairs dont work. The salon is dirty. I was grossed out because the man was going to put me in someone elses dirty water...with dead skin floating around as I sat there and watched. He kept pulling off the jet cover and more dead skin would fall out. I asked if it was clean...they apologized, wiped it down and put a plastic covering on it for me. So make sure you check the water before they put your feet in. After that issue the pedicure was fine & pretty average. My toes came out pretty. My friends enjoyed their manicures but its nothing special.

I had the Dip French manicure done by Princess and it turned out great!She did a awesome job!!!

To begin with they do a great Job on nails. However, I will not come back and this is why; its understandable they do not speak English and thats ok. Whats not ok is when Im trying to show them what I want and theyre not listening and do what they want to do to your nails.

Loved my pink and white in the beginning, but as time went on they started turning yellow. Went somewhere else and had a new set put on. Turns out it was the pink acrylic they were using. Will not be going back.

Man painted over my shellac, I said I wanted shellac removed. My nail are so thin now. Parts missing. I doubt licensed. Would contact Heath Dept. Never go!! It will be months before have nails again.

This place is complete crappy quality. They charged me 15$ for shellac, I didnt even know I was getting shellac, you can buy and entire shellac bottle for $15. They lied to me and said I got gel nails and Ive just recently figured out they charged me for gel when they were really acrylic. They lied. They are liars and money hungry. Definitely recommend Miss snails and Spa next to Kroger down the street. Never ever would I go here EVER AGAIN.

I went with a friend to get a mani + pedi at cosmic. The pedis were nice. I think it all comes down to the technician you get. My friend had a great technician, I didnt as much. My technician was quick and a bit sloppy. My nails were okay, but rushed. And while I waited for my friend to get her nails done, my technician started giving herself a pedi. It was a bit weird. Like I said its all about the technician. My friends tech was super sweet and attentive and did a wonderful job on her nails.

Great place. Good service. Ill be back.

This is the absolute dirtiest nail salon I have ever been to. I went in around 10:30 in the morning and was greeted by tools and appliances on the floor and stacked on tables, and nail dust coating every possible surface. When the tech asked me to wash my hands, the paper towel dispenser was broken and covered in dirt and polish.The tech never actually cleaned under my nails and pulled out his phone & Facebook as soon as the last coat was painted on my nails. Im glad he didnt ask for a tip because I definitely wouldnt have given one!

My dads girlfriend and I came to get our nails done. I got acrylics and she got a mani pedi. The staff were nice but didnt talk much. While I was getting my acrylics done, the guy was using the electric filer on my nails and he drilled the skin on my finger off. He also cut my nail bed open with it. I asked for coffin shape nails but the shape turned out really bad and crooked.My dads girlfriends nails came out so good though!! She got the chrome color on them. Go to Princess for your mani pedis!!

I went there on October 10, 2017 and it was the scariest experience Ive EVER had in over 15 yrs of getting acrylic nails!! He was rushing, and filed my skin so bad it got infected. I went to the doctor today and I have cellulitis of the finger. Praying antibiotics will get rid of the infection or they will have to cut my finger open! Worst place & experience ever!!!

The best nail salon around

My mom and I made appointments for a Saturday morning. Both techs were good at cleaning up our nails and cuticles, but neither of us received a good massage or much scrapping of our dry skin. My tech automatically pulled out tips to add to my nails and seemed disappointed when I told him no. He also didnt tell me that the chrome shallac I picked out was $20 extra! My moms bill came to $50 something and mine was $77 and we both had manicures and pedicures. The chrome treatment is also already coming off and its only been two days. I was hoping to be pampered a bit, especially for that price, but was disappointed. If I just wanted a quick color change, I may come back. But for a good experience I would go somewhere else.

Sloppy work. He did the job twice because I was unsatisfied with the ripple look of my gel manicure. He was friendly at first and then seemed highly annoyed that I didnt like the work. He then discovered it was the paint after blaming me for hitting the top of the light. I will not return.

Salon was dirty & displays/polishes unkempt. Used files/buffers used again on me & thrown back in the drawer. Scary!

They charged me 40 for nails that cost me 28 somewhere else and they were extremely rude to me and my friend. They also did a very poor job on my nails. They chipped and one broke before the night was over. Very disappointed
