Quentin and his team installed a new furnace and mini split air conditioning unit at my house, I couldnt be happier with the price and service that they provided! The team worked very hard and clean and were very friendly the whole time they were here. They also took the time to explain to me how the mini split units worked as that was all new to me. This company is great, we were beyond happy with our experience with Quentin and his team. Our furnace went out on a Saturday evening and he was over inspecting it within a hour after the call. Came back the next morning on a Sunday and installed our new furnace in a timely manner and did a great job. Working with Quentin and his team at Proficient was a great experience. They were able to give me a quote for an A/C replacement and upgrade over the phone with some sent pictures. They were the only company of 4 that had quoted me that was able to do this. There was a slight delay in response as they got extremely busy, but the experience was worth it. Several competitors wanted me to rip out half of my basement ceiling and Proficient was able to work out of a small access panel.All-in-all the technicians were super professional, clean and collaborative when they faced challenges. The project came in under--budget and and ahead of schedule... that rarely happens!

Quentin was very helpful even though he was backed up with this 4th of July heat wave. He helped me trouble shoot the problem with my AC over the phone. He was able to narrow it down to the blown fuse on the outside AC breaker. Picked a new fuse up from Home Depot and it fired right up!Not to mention how quick and helpful the team was back in the winter when we had to replace our furnace.Thanks Quentin!

You dont get great service much these days but Quentin went out of his way to help me. If you need any HVAC service, Quentin of Proficient Heating and Cooling is the guy I would call.Update: I just got a new furnace from Proficient Heating & Cooling and the service was good and the price was excellent. This HVAC team is the best in S.E. Michigan. They are certainly proficient, but also incredibly kind and honest. We have had them over twice. Once to install a new AC in 2018, and again recently for a tune up for AC. Writing this review for the last visit which was phenomenal.Kevin, the tech who came out to tune our AC, moved around his schedule to work with mine (I work until late afternoon, and he was nice enough to come out later than anticipated). He checked our AC, which didn’t take long, but he also cleaned and tuned our heating unit! Something he didn’t even have to do, but since the AC was quick (new unit) he wanted to assist. In addition, I pointed out a gap in the intake vent and he was happy to patch it up for us (no charge). He also gave good advice to extend the life of the HVAC units. Definitely looking out for his customer and value for the dollar. No up-selling, no BS, just honest good work. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to install or service any HVAC system in the metro Detroit area.

Thee guys are amazing. My A/C went out on a 90+ degree weekend. When I said I wanted a whole new HVAC system they actually got my A/C running until my installation date. Then they replaced my furnace and A/C in one day. They also added a humidifier and fixed several vent problems for me. All at a great, GREAT price. I highly recommend this company!
