They serviced my exercise bike. It’s almost 20 years old and technician stated some of the part wouldn’t be available. Once taking apart he discovered that parts were not needed. Just some tightening of nuts and realigning wheels took care of the problem. The technician was friendly and knowledgeable.

They charge 119.00 to come out and assess the issue. They identified an issue with my washer and repaired it - which cost additional money. No problem there. They assessed my dryer - identified a problem. However, the repairman was not able to fix the dryer. I was told I would have to pay another $119.00 for them to come back to repair the dryer. Why send a repairman that is limited in what he can do? If he cannot fix all washer/dryer issues then dont send him. Plus, in the midst of a Pandemic, I am not looking to have different people in and out of my home. It was a slap in the face to be told I would have to pay an additional $119.00 for another repairman to come out and fix the dryer. It sounds like a scam and I will NEVER utilize this repair service again. They are trying to take advantage of people and it is shameful. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR REPAIR SERVICE!!!It cost me $400.00 to repair the washer.

Bought a Sears Warranty $49.99 down, same for 12 months. Repair man came out, sat down with his cell phone.Then gave me a estimate of $408.00. When I refused the service he charge $74.00 for coming out. The company then call and said they needed $74,50 more because the service call was $149.00 totai. For repairing nothing totol cost $198.50

Great technician but I have a big issue with having to pay for the labor on a three year old fridge. $473.73. Im aware that this product is actually an LG fridge badged as Kenmore Elite. LG had a class-action lawsuit settled that reimburses purchaser up to $450 for compressor failures manufactured between 1/1/2014 to 12/31/2017. Why isnt Sears reimbursing customers for the same issue? Very unhappy.

Tech was late and, condescending, and rude. He did not spend adequate time to verify what he thought was the problem. Which I tried to tell him wasn’t the problem. So now I’m left with a still broken fridge and have to wait another 8 days to get a tech back over!! I had to wait almost two weeks to get the first tech to come by!! And I have the TOP tier warranty on the fridge!! Multiple calls and online chats with a Sears warranty rep and all they could say is they escalated it up. Up to a non-existent response team! Avoid SEARS and their service.

The two technicians who made the diagnosis and then installed the parts were very good. The first tech ordered the parts did not tell me that they were sent to my house. I was surprised when this big box was delivered a few days later.The dishwasher works like new so I am pleased with that.I give 1 star for the wait time to set up the first appointment. I was on the phone for 20 minutes then was told by the mechanical voice that the system was down and to call back later. I did and then waited 25 minutes to talk to a real person.When I called to see when the second tech would arrive, I was only on the phone for 12 minutes.They definitely need to work on that.

I was home all day waiting on the service technician and just happened to look out the door and saw a note left on the door that he had been and no one was home. I took off work for the appointment and was very angry that I did not at least receive a phone call or even a hard know on the door.

Scheduled for carpet and air duct cleaning and they kept rescheduling duct cleaning which should be done first for three weeks with either no reason or excuses of problem with truck. Dave the manager was not at all honest. At one point he even sent the carpet cleaning guy without informing him that air duct needed to be done. He doesnt care about costumer satisfaction or transparency. Said he would come as certain time without showing up and notification as to whether he was not coming or why. And Mr. Dave is supposed to be a manager.

I would like to give TWO ratings. I give 5 stars to Quentin, the technician who came out to my house two times - once to assess, and once to install a part. He was courteous, communicative, and friendly.I would give a lower rating to Sears Appliance Repair itself - 1, because I had to wait about 2 weeks for the assessment (even though I had told them the seal was falling off the refrigerator) and then another couple of weeks for it to be installed (which took all of ten minutes, if that). For both appointments, I had to take off a whole day of work in order to be here from noon to 4. Thats ridiculous.

The service was excellent. The service technician came midway through 4 hour window and called ahead. He was technically very knowledgeable, took his time and carefully explained everything he was doing. He repaired the dryer with new rollers and a fan belt plus a thorough cleaning. The cost was $233 which I thought was reasonable given that he spent 1.5 hours working.

FOR SERVICE REPAIRS FROM SEARS ON CERTAIN ITEMS YOU HAVE TO SEND OUT. THE OVER THE PHONE PEOPLE YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH THROUGH SEARS ARE AWFUL. MINUS 2 YOUNG LADIES THAT REALLY HELPED I SPEND 3 DAYS TRYING TO GET MY LAWNMOWER SERVICE GETTING TRANSFERRED TO NUMEROUS PEOPLE AND HUNG UP ON THREE TIMES. We had booked appliance maintenance men for a top-load, agitator-less washer through our maintenance agreement which provides for an annual check-up. This was the first of a three-year maintenance agreement. the washer is still relatively new, so not much to maintain. the maintenance man was pleasant, although due to back-ups with other customers, he was about a 1/2 hour late-that is he was a 1/2 hour outside the 8-12 window for him to arrive.I appreciate the process, but I do appreciate service people arriving within the window agreed upon.

Although I dont agree with the lack of Rust-coverage on my Washing Machine, the Service Technician who came to install a New Top Stamping I purchased, was great and very professional. He was efficient and helpful in every way. However, you can see there was no rust preventative coating on the bottom of the stamping and the Bleach Dispenser area rusted along the corners. This has been a common problem.The above post was from early 2017 and it happened in conjunction with another Electronic Board being replaced due to malfunction on my Kenmore Washing machine.Well, yesterday January 17, 2018, I had my second Service visit of the New Year to replace a clogged Softener Dispenser as the previous one caused leaking after each Wash cycle. We dont even use Softener but the machine cycles each dispenser on every wash cycle and somehow caused the clogging.This Washing machine has required more Service calls than any other appliance we have ever had and my wife says the clothes just dont get as clean as the previous Washer due to the way the clothing is forced into a BALL and doesnt allow the soap and water to penetrate where necessary.But, I want to reinforce that each Service Technician that has come out to repair has been prompt, polite and professional and done everything they could to help. However, they dont build the machines that Sears sells.I have continued to buy the Extended Warranty for all my Sears appliances because if I didnt, the Washer would have cost me more than I paid for it due to all the problems and failures of the product.I sell CNC controlled Machinery and understand things will break, but if you have recurring problems, you need to change the components or design or people will buy elsewhere.I want Sears to stay around as Ive shopped there for decades, but I hope they can get better made products.Best Regards,Paul MThere have been multiple times when this Washer has not worked and it is very frustrating as this seems to be the way the New machines are built.

I wasnt going to leave a review but since I received several email requesting that I do, here goes. Let me start by saying that all in all, it took four months between the time I purchased the repair warranty and the point at which our washer was finally rid of the original issue and fully functional. Also, during this time, we went one entire month without use of our washer. My initial complaint was residue on our clothing (almost like an algae or thin film) as well as an occasional foul odor to the rinse water. On the first visit, the technician instructed me on how to clean my washer using a vinegar/baking soda mix. I had tried store bought washer cleaner and the washers clean cycle already to no avail. But I played along and did as told. No improvement. Visit 2. Came to the house and explained that since cleaning showed no improvement, I would need a new basket. Ordered basket. One might think this could have been ordered in advance since the issue was already known but you will soon see there is little efficiency to the ordering of parts process. Visit 3. Discovered that the incorrect parts had been shipped to my home and could do nothing. Ordered correct parts. Visit 4. Installed new basket. No more residue but now a horrible banging during spinning. Visit 5. Came back and said I needed another basket. Ordered.Visit 6. installed new basket but decided I also needed new clutch and nut and left washer disassembled. Technician could not order parts or get repair authorized as Sears had an incorrect model number on file. I was instructed to call to fix the issue as he was unable to change model number on his end. I spent hours on the phone, transferred numerous times over several days. Parts were finally ordered emergency but they took 9 days to show up and my home and were the WRONG PARTS! (another basket had shown up which worked out because the current was pretty badly dented) but still had to wait for tech to come back to my home before correct parts could be ordered.Visit 7. Tech ordered correct parts and checked to make sure correct basket was already here. Visit 8. All parts here but new basket that he looked at on previous visit is too badly dented to install. Ordered new basket. Visit 9. New basket also dented but less so than the three prior. I pounded the dents out with a hammer. I could care less at this point. Tech installed new basket and washer seems to be working well, with no residue on my clothing. I will also add that each time parts were ordered and discarded, they were left at my home for me to drag to the curb. These are not small washer baskets/tubs! When the wrong parts sat in my garage for two weeks and no one picked them up as promised, I had to call Sears to arrange to have them picked up. A big part of the issue here is having a third party repair company that has to run everything by Sears. Just seemed totally inefficient, too many people and departments not communicating properly. I do not plan to ever purchase a Sears warranty again.

They have promised a new machine, but there have been promised made and broken 3 times regarding when. TLDR I have not had a working dishwasher for more than 30 days

This was THE WORST repair experience ever. Ever!!! They sent an incompetent idiot who did not repair the problem he was called for. Instead he repaired something else and when he left the washer was still doing exactly what it was doing before he got there. He had a terrible attitude, was unable let to process payment through his laptop, took my cell phone out to his truck to speak to my landlord, and never was able to process the payment. Then when my landlord got upset because he had tried to process the payment six tines, he threatened to go back in the house and *undo* the work he had done and charge him labor charges to do it. I ended up calling back again for another appointment to actually get the washer fixed c and the second guy diagnosed it as a totally different problem. First bill- $240...second bill will be an additional $190. Was unable to talk to anyone in the USA, in the international call center refuse to give me any phone number for anyone local that I could speak to. I asked to speak to one of their employees that was a supervisor and they were unable to provide me with a supervisor either. The take-home messages do not buy Kenmore appliances and if youre already stuck with one, do not call Sears repair to fix it. Just buy another washer or whatever because by the time youre done youre going to put out more money than you would have for you washing machine. This washing machine is only 4 years old and basically just fell apart. Sears....you suck!

I have been with out hot water for over a week, and Sears service has been out twice this week and still no hot water. I called Mr. Lampert office owner and never heard back. Computers have been down so re-scheduling is not possible, they tell you to call back. NO HOT WATER IS NOT AN EMERGENCY! Part was ordered as a precaution only or just guessing? When I checked on what part was ordered, the service provider never completed the order. I talked to many licence plumbers and they all said the same, Sears should of replaced the tank especially that you had the extended warranty, and should of tried to replace parts on site. i now have Lowes scheduled to come out and with install is a very cheap price. Mr. Lampert, Sears owner why do you treat us in this fashion? I want a full refund for the extended warranty as you offer no service and could careless about your long standing customers. Please just sell the service department so other families do not have to suffer.

Absolutely a horrible experience. They went to a different address than what was on the service order and fixed an appliance there that wasnt broken. When I called back to have them come to the correct address, they initially told me they couldnt because the work order was closed. After multiple complaints and calls, they rescheduled to the correct address but took an additional 10 days. The majority of the people we spoke to were either rude or not helpful. We will definitely not be using Sears in the future.

Soonest appointment Samsung could give me was 10 days off; I called Sears at 9:00 AM and my washer was fixed by 4 PM, and that included the wait for a driver to deliver the part from a local supply house.

Service technicians were very knowledgeable and did a very good job. Part that went bad was the compressor. Only complaint l have is the fridgerator is only 15 months old! Parts were covered by the warranty but still had to pay for labor, which was $260. Should have been covered too. Will NOT buy another Kenmore, this was the Elite model too.

Every time I have to call Sears Home Services I get a very respectable, polite, and competent repairman. My dishwasher was repaired within two hours of my initial phone call. You cant get much better turn around time than that. Admittedly, I wish it were a bit less expensive for the simplicity of the repair, but expertise comes with a price. It was the same situation when they repaired our ice maker. Terrific response time, very professional serviceman, and a teensy bit too expensive. Well, Ive hired enough weirdos (with other companies) that I appreciate knowing what Im going to get with Sears! Worth it in my opinion.

It was ok. The repairman determined the dryer needed a new belt pretty quick, but when he finished up the light on the inside didnt work. He took the time to open it back up, but in the end just showed me how to the replace the light and didnt do it.

A & E is the Sub contractor for sears. This was the 3rd time they missed the appointment. They always say they showed up but no one was home ...This is a lie. The last time they showed up but did not know what to do or what they needed to fix even though they had ordered parts from the 1st guy.Do NOT LET A & E in your home. The technicians that come out here are always the best and go above and beyond. Customer service on the other hand if you can even understand them are probably some of the worst Ive ever had to encounter. It took 8 people to get a delivery change 8 count them they could not even get my tracking number correct. Call taker number 6 transferred my call to UPS who had to tell me that the responsibility on changing delivery schedule is with the shipper which I already knew. Contact call taker number 5 6 & 7 were probably the worst. The last call taker was point on. I didnt have to repeat my phone number which number 7 couldnt even find my account by my phone number and he even repeated my correct phone number back to me and said that he could not find my account can I go on hold again. The last call taker knew everything about what my problem was did not have to put me on hold made a decision right there and lo and behold my package arrives on the day that I needed it not when the Sears or should I say the Filipino Sears contractor wanted. I am so sorry that Sears is not the All American company I once believed. All these American jobs are gone because Sears appears to be too cheap and goes and ships out the jobs to other countries. I am not the only one that is upset with this it just so happens on the day I was having so many problems with customer service the news was wearing the exact same issues and it was almost as though they knew all about what I am going through because it was per Batum. I have never been so frustrated in my life as I was this last transaction with call takers. And not just because theyre not Americans but because they had no clue what to do.Well I continue to buy from Sears well as Sears probably knows the answer to that would be yes because its convenient and the warranty is very much worth while. Sears really needs to step up and become an American company.In summary, the last call taker knew what to do. Again the technicians are always the best. They get 5 stars.

They diagnosed and even though they had to come twice they get my biggest rating. It was a hard one (corroded main refrigerator wire harness not making contact to the fan harness). They had to run one wire outside the harness to fix it. This Whirlpool refrigerator has been the last fridge I ever had to deal with. I still have the old one I replaced and that one has yet to give me a single issue. They sore dont built them like they used too.

Not very thoughtful or friendly repairman. In total there were 2 service repairman each time the same guy and 1 vent cleaning service that cleaned the supposedly clog vent, which turned out to be not clogged (stated the servicemen). The job is completed and even with my product being Sears I will not call you all again. In the future I will find a repair company that has workers with personality and willing to solve the problem sooner and make sure the customer is satisfied. Plus I wont look to buy another Sears washer and dryer. We have always had Sears washers and dryers.

2nd visit, fridge still not safe to use (45F). 3rd visit will be at the 2 week anniversary of the first visit (2 1/2 weeks from first call). The current guess is internal freon leaks.The freezer drawer got broken by the technician during the second visit.Im questioning our decision to buy the biggest top of the line Kenmore Elite. Less than 4 years old and Im not sure it can be repaired.

Repair technician cancelled his appointment due to overbooking.After two hours on the phone I finally was able to reschedule for the next day.Was supposed to have $20 taken off the bill but got instead a 20% coupon which I already was using. The repairman was early and very courteous. He noticed that my washer wasnt lined up straight so he fixed that. The issue that I wanted him to fix did not present itself so that was all that was done.The problem came back later in the evening and I have made another appointment. The repairman was knowledgeable and did a good job. I was a bit frustrated that they wouldnt reattach the mowing deck because I had remove it prior to their arrival trying reattach the drive belt so I could finish moving the lawn. I thought that they would certainly reattach the moving deck since they would had to remove it anyway for the frame and transmission repair plus drive belt removal/replace. Also unfortunately I didnt thoroughly review the finial charge receipt before the service man left. After reviewing the final bill, I realized that the 20% coupon that I presented at the diagnostic time wasnt applied to the final bill. After a frustrating hour plus time working through your mostly incompetent MYHOME service, I finally got to the billing department for help. An lastly I tried without luck to get someone to reasonably explain the Service Flash - NOCREDIT $38.80 charge that mysteriously appeared on the final bill.

The associates were nice. But iam up set this machine went out i havent had it for even a year yet, than there is recalls on them that sucks. I was withouth a machine for a week so the part could come in. I hope this dont gappen again

Had to have Sears come out twice for fridge repair. The first time a Sears [employee] came out, did only about 20 mins of work by replacing a part and left. Fridge worked worse after that. Called Sears corporate and explained that, and the obvious overseas call center gentlemen kept saying yaaaa at the beginning and end of every sentence...you know, like Lumberg in Office Space. Anyway, scheduled 2nd appt. A non-Sears contracted employee came out and told me that the part the first swapped out was not a new part, it was probably something lying around on his truck. He then told me that the problem was obvious and could be fixed, but would take a while (a subsequent 2 hours of diligence on his part). Not only did the 2nd maintenance person, and again a non-Sears contracted employee, fix the problem but he really made the fridge and freezer work awesome. What is the lesson here? First, dont let any so called Sears representative leave your home unless they prove theyve fixed the problem. Second, ensure they are using new parts. Third, get the reps name and address of operations (or store number), this makes it easier to lodge a complaint.

I had like a fool purchased a washing machine from sears after the previous one from Sears took a dump because they couldnt fix it. this last one was 1.5 years old and it wasnt cheap! they kept coming out to fix this. (it sounded like a freight train) after they put all new parts in it still wasnt right and to top it ..the machine leaked though the floor (new) and ruined that. Sears had put in a new Shaft and didnt put all the screws in it. Nothing that they do is right! I went through a horrible experience with purchasing a houseful of new appliances too. Sorry I went there! I now deal with ABC. Sears........are you sorry you wanted a comment? Your workmanship is terrible.

NOT Good.The man came out walked around the house and said that the garage door was opening because of the Comcast router. Charged me $144 for nothing.He didnt check the remotes, and didnt reprogram the keypad.All in all, a total ripoff. Repairman said, Buy a $200 Genie. Of course that doesnt include the installation cost.

Service was good but I had to wait 2 weeks for a tecnician. This was my icemaker that stopped working during a 90 degree heat wave. What would I have done for 2 weeks if it was the freezer or the entire refrigerator? Considering how expensive the service plans are you would think you could get service much faster. The last time I called there was water leaking from the water dispenser and it took 3 visits and 6 weeks before the part finally arrived and a tecnician could come out. That was also unacceptable and cruel because the service department suggested I turn off the refrigerator and disconnect the water until a tech can come over. Im not a prepper. I dont know how to live without refridgeration..... Maybe they need an emergency service department.
