We contacted Floor Advisor to install wood floors on the second floor of our house. We wanted to match the existing wood floors on the first floor of our home, and after reviewing several different vendors, we selected Floor Advisors, and are extremely happy with the results. The product was an excellent match, the installation was executed perfectly, on time and with a daily cleanup over a 4 day installation period. Excellent pricing and follow up. We will use them again for our next project .

Doug took the time to answer all of our questions, and helped ensure a smooth install. When an issue popped up post install, they were quick to address it and make sure we were pleased. We were ready to redo virtually all of the flooring in our house. We decided to start with a wood staircase and basement carpet. We got quotes this and wood flooring for the entire main level. Doug told us the crew was coming on Sat morning to install the staircase, but never showed. Apparently they couldnt get the materials that another company was holding. Then he rescheduled us for the following week but the installer did not have a mask. We were promised all the workers would have. Third appt, he showed up and did the work, but measuring was wrong so a piece was missing. Doug brought the piece over and kept promising a bottle of wine for all the trouble. A few days later the piece was installed. The work was okay, but they had to come back again to finish covering nail holes. The carpet was installed with very visible seams. THey had to come back to fix that. Nobody followed up after any installers to ask how I liked the quality of the work. I had to call with the issues. Doug did call, a lot about changes in when products would be available, but never about my satisfaction. Id tell him often to email me or text as I work from home, but I still got calls. Sometimes, Id say it wasnt a good time for the person to come over because I had a work call and then the worker would show up 5 minutes later anyway. Six weeks later, still no calls about my satisfaction and even inquiries if I wanted to go forward with the full hardwood. Oh, and still no wine. Poor customer service. Do not recommend. I will go elsewhere for the rest of the flooring for my house.

I highly recommend Floor Advisor. From the beginning, they were extremely knowledgeable and helpful to provide us with what we needed (we replaced the flooring in our basement). From the moment we walked in to the point in which the flooring was completed was approximately 2-3 weeks, which was EXTREMELY fast in my experience as that also included the purchase and shipping of the materials.Further, their team was very professional in completing the job and did it wonderfully. It looks fantastic and wed come back and use Floor Advisor for any future flooring needs hands down. Highly highly recommend.

The crew was professional and did a fabulous job. The store manager was very accommodating with our schedule constraints and completed the work on schedule with emphasis on quality and workmanship.

Long story, great results. Ordered new berber carpet for bedrooms and stairs at the Lansdowne store. Doug was very helpful explaining the different product available and pros/ cons of each. Gave me a few samples to take home and see how they looked. Provided quotes for each products, along with comparison on quality, price, texture, etc. Placed order, with installation scheduled in 3 weeks. Installers arrived in early afternoon and started ripping up old carpet quickly and efficiently. They worked tirelessly for the 7 hour install. Once they completed the upstairs bedrooms, they began to install down the stairs. As I sat in the kitchen working, noticed that the carpet seemed much darker than the product I had ordered. Sure enough, the foreman and I checked the model/ color and it was not the same. We agreed that they would rough finish the stairs and have the owner do some research. After a few emails/ phone calls, they realized that the wrong carpet was delivered to the installer. They immediately apologized for the error and reorder the correct carpet, with installation the following week. The carpet looks fantastic and the quality of the installation perfect. Even though there was an issue with the order, the management at Floor Advisor acted quickly to fix the mistake and make sure that I was happy with their work. These types of situations really define the quality and professionalism of a small business. ACTIONS are much more relevant than words, advertising or marketing. Bob and Doug proved that they care about the customer and did whatever necessary to get the job done. Not only will I use Floor Advisor again for work in my home, I will absolutely refer them to friends and neighbors. Thanks again, Bob and Doug!!
