I always come here to get my oil changed- it’s easy to find coupons online or in my email so that’s always a plus. Service is quick even when there’s a line. Never had any problems here. I came yesterday and got Melanie, she was fantastic, answered all my questions and was super friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely be back, hopefully next time I’ll get her again. On 8/10/21 I went to this location and had a routine oil change. This location has polite and professional workers. I was glad that there was no wait as most other oil change businesses you need an appointment. I would recommend this Valvoline location or any location.

This is the best place to get your oil changed. Every time I come here the staff is always friendly and courteous. They always come across as a great team . Went to valvoline a for the first time on Saturday for an oil change and I changed the cabin filter and air filter. The next morning my car broke down and I have a mechanic look at it. The oil was burnt and low even though the day before I spent $158!. Was told my engine went because of it. I called and had them set up an investigation. 2 days later they determined it wasn’t their issue or that they weren’t at fault. Even tho I never had no issues with my car before and I always keep up to date with maintaining my car. Highly disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

Great place. You are in and out in record time. 89.99 for 5 quarts is a bit steep for synthetic oil. Groupon is the way to go. The people are friendly.

It doesn’t get better than a drive through oil change. You simply pull up into the garage, and remain in your vehicle while the technician in the pit below swaps out the oil. They also seem very honest, and didn’t lie to me that my air filter needed to be changed. In case someone doesn’t like capitalism, good luck finding one of these in Russia or China.

Fast, drive-thru service. Clean, professional staff was very friendly and explained process in detail but no big sales pitch. In and out in no time and they inflated the tire pressure, topped off all fluids and I used a 10.00 coupon they scanned right from my cell.Every auto service should be so easy.

Even though the names and faces change Valvoline always does a great job getting you in and out quickly and brings your attention to preventative things that you otherwise would not be aware should be done to protective your investment (car) and keep it running well.Great Job Melanie and Gary!!

Quick, friendly service.

Went for a simple oil change only. They spilled the oil all over the engine bay. Also they said the coolant in the reservoir was low, but right before that they spilled hot water on the hot engine components, which is bad as that can cause metal to crack.

Excellent service and friendly attitude. They definitely went the extra mile for me. I would highly recommend using them for your oil change or air filter service.

Wow, these guys are so thorough and so fast! Excellent customer service and it will blow your mind how quickly they are finished. I love all of their audible safety checks and their examples of 5S organization with their tools. The only slight downside (but would never remove a star for it) is that they will likely put an oil change sticker that suggests an oil change in 3,000 miles, no matter the car or oil type. Just check your owners manual for the recommended oil change interval and use that as a guide. Many manufacturers will recommend intervals at 5,000 miles and more. Just a tip, not a negative at all. Definitely go here!

Extremely fast service. The gentleman there were very kind... The female however had a little bit of an attitude. The prices arent bad considering its so quick.

Nothing but great experiences so far. I use them for oil and filter changes, and occasionally windshield wipers. I get coupons for their services, so it comes out rather inexpensive. Everyone has always been nice. I dont think I ever spent more than 20 minutes there. If you havent gone there before, they do full service oil changes and car checks, you dont leave your vehicle. You stay inside the entire time. Ive gone when my children napped in the car, and they spoke quietly. Ive gone right before grocery shopping over there at Stop and Shop. I get free oil changes from my dealership, but it involves making an appointment and waiting for over an hour or more sometimes! This is much easier and more convenient. Great concept!

The guys at the Rubber Avenue location are fantastic. They are professional and very friendly. They are also well trained and perform the jobs well, and provide quick and efficient excellent service. They offer additional products and services but never over sell - and never pressure you into purchasing more than what you need. This is one of the best run and managed locations that Ive been to in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania or Connecticut. I highly recommend stopping in to have your oil changed. Its always a pleasure doing business here.

I had an oil change and they put the wrong oil...and left my vehicle leaking oil

Went for an early morning oil change. Was the first one in the shop....everything was going great till they sent a young kid down to drain the oil and he had NO idea what he was doing. I heard them talking and it was completely obvious he didnt know anything. At one point another staff member joined the young kid down stairs to help. That staff member yelled up He doesnt even know the difference of 1/4 in or 1/2 socket. Super super concerning. The assistant manager assured me that the young kid just didnt know how to take the access panel off my make and model of car..........oh okI never write reviews but other should be careful who is under or working on your car. Stupid mistakes could end up being costly.I will not be returning with either of my cars.

Service is quick. staff (Gary) did not pressure to change filters at all. i did change the cabin filter...it was gross. the air filter was very little dirty he wanted to change but i opted to wait til next change... he said oki do feel 74 for an oil change and cabin filter was too expensive and i did not get an explanation for the details of each charge for that I only rated 4 but i will return

Had my oil change on a newer VW Passat. They tore the plastic shield off without removing all the screws, then replaced it with half the tabs in place and 1/2 of the screws. The shield was dragging on the road for 40 miles before I figured out what the issue was. Luckily my buddy has a garage and a lift. I now need to order new screws and possibly a new cover as this one got dragged to NY and back before I could get it on a lift. There is NO way they thought this was mounted correctly. $125 with a cabin filter (Im about to verify if that was really changed)

About a month ago, I purchased a used car. The dealer assured me the car was in perfect running condition. Nothing could possibly go wrong.Wel... about a week later, something did. I noticed the car was running poorly, and I immediately took the car to Valvoline, on Rubber Avenue in Naugatuck CT.The Manager, Gary, could not have been more considerate or polite. He calmly explained the host of problems, even going so far as to list the level of urgency. I decided to trust my car with Valvoline, and I instructed Gary to repair the entire car. At once.I am happy to report my car is now in perfect working condition. And I owe to all to Gary and his team.I doubt very much if I have met a finer group of people than the Team at Valvoline in Naugatuck, CT. Gary, Jonathan, Carlos and Kyle - All of them are the most dedicated group of Servicemen I have ever met. You are privileged to have them as a part of your team.Congratulations, Valvoline. You now have a Customer for Life.

I very rarely review places but I feel like I should with this business. I recently had taken my truck to get an oil change, during the time they had struggled to open my hood so I had to open the hood and I also described on how to close it to the person working on my vehicle. Once when they finished they did not listen to me about closing the hood and they had bent the hinge. I had to get the hinge replaced and when I called valvoline the manager had told me there is nothing they can do because it wasnt on the cameras even though I have a picture of the bent hinge.Another thing that had scared me was that one of the workers came up and shockingly asked where did you get your oil changed last? even though I had brought it to them before this incident. So that made me wonder if they did a bad oil change before. I used to use valvoline but I will no longer recommend or go back.

I went to the Valvoline in Naugatuck and was amazed by the cleanliness of the facility, unlike others in the area, and the service was prompt, with my car driving beautifully even though it had been having, and still has, starter issues. Naugatuck Valvoline did my tire pressure and were very helpful in informing me that my car battery was OK. This service, in addition to the fluid replacement, saved me time, money, worry, and inconvenience. I plan to return for all my oil needs to the Naugatuck Rubber Ave. Valvoline in the future.
