A package shipped from Middletown DE to Queens NY got lost in this facility. No one searched my package. All I was told is to be patient. After 40 days, they told me it is lost. My package has an item valued at $3000. I wish I could give a “0” rating.
I have never had a package so delayed in my life. Package was scanned into that facility on Dec 15. Today is January 6. It’s been there for 22 days. The only response I can get is wait another 15 days and call back then. This facility is a joke and really needs to get it together.
I have been waiting a MONTH for my package. It’s just sitting there. I know that COVID is a huge issue however, it’s not an excuse to just sit there and not work. That’s exactly what these people are doing. Not working.
Ive been waiting for a package that I was suspose to get 48 to 72 hours from January 31st then finally they said I would get it today March 8th now the tracking thing is saying its on its way but it going to be late

Takes about an hour just to check in....Finally checked in @1254pm for a 1400 apt pu, received a door just to sit an hour and be moved to another door..the time is now 1709 and Im still waiting to get my bol...AVOID THIS PLACE DRIVERS YOUVE BEEN WARNED.
Very bad organized! Waited 20 hours to get loaded and should be expedite mail..
I love this place but if there is public transportation available from train station then will so much easier for workers .

If your package arrives to this facility, forget about it... it’s never going to deliver.
Such a nightmare. This distribution center routinely sends packages to the wrong zip code. This means either that the package eventually finds its way into a large bin, from which it is supposedly to be delivered to the right zip code, and then to the destination. However the rules read, it doesnt work like this. The packages are routinely lost or stolen. Priority mail, two day delivery from Brooklyn to Queens is too much for them to handle. Either the distribution center does not know the difference between the numbers 01 and 02 at the end of the zip code, or it is fun and games, or theft. For the ordinary customer waiting at home, its frustration and distress. Find management and employees, please, who can understand the importance of this job, and pay them well for doing it. And bury those who misuse the postal system. The way it is now is miserable and mortifying.

My Package was last scanned here according to Tracking Page and even though I paid for Priority so I would get it here on time the Expected arrival day was 3 days ago and still counting. Never left Bethpage in 3 days now. This Facility needs to get their act together. Lot of unhappy customers out there and Im one of them. The package was only traveling from Long Island to North Carolina. I could have driven up there and picked it up by now. So I am now adding to this review with an update. It turns out the reason I got my package so late is because one of the Ghetto Employees at this USPS Facility put my package with the ones going to South Carolina instead of North Carolina. Try hiring Employees that actually know how to read and speak English and care about their Job. Seems they dont pay attention. They should get docked a days pay every time they screw up. Bet that would make them pay attention and do their damn job correctly.

I ordered boots from the Ukraine which is currently under Russian occupation. The boots quite happily made it to this facility and disappeared upon leaving this facility. The postal system in a war torn country is better than this place, literally.

Not sure whats up with this place. Ive had packages go right through the distribution center in hours and arrive on time with no troubles, other times Ive had packages delayed a bit. Right now Im waiting for a part I need that left Bethpage 7 days ago, and then vanished into the ether. Today it pops up in Melville, less than 6 miles away. Im only 56 miles away from Bethpage. I understand theres a higher volume of mail during Valentines Day and the weather has been slamming us pretty bad lately, but 7 days to show up at the processing center ten minutes away? I had other packages and my mail arrive just fine during this time. Did a truck get stuck in the snow or something and sit for a week? If thats the case at least update the tracking to reflect the reason my package is delayed, not leave me wondering if my package is lost. What if a small business is expecting something for a customer and all they can tell the customer is I dont know where the item is? Delayed packages are to be expected occasionally, but at least tell us whats going on when it happens!

This facility is only an hour away from me! Last year I have a really important package coming from Fl. And it takes over a week to get, because Bethpage sent it to Colorado!! 2nd really important package a few weeks later, went from Fl to Bethpage... to Chicago, NJ & PA before reaching us 2 weeks later! Here we are #3... departed Bethpage Nov 1, Nov 2 on its way to my town... NOT! This am its showing it got to TENNESSEE yesterday!Why are these people in this business if they dont care??? Wish someone would take care of this never ending problem!!

Yes, I agree with other reviews here. My express package from Europe cleared ny customs right away (so they cant blame them!) and then it sat there in Bethpage for 3 days! Terrible center with awful service. Yes, get your act together!
I dont want to rate a single star to this place...My parcel is getting updated after 14 hours since last 4 days that it left the facility... but it didnt .... I could have drive to NYC which 4 hours from my place and droppped it instead of sending priority mail through USPS......The worst thing is even the customer service can not help in anything...just put a case to track it....and nobody is contacting me or the facility. I am trying to get the phone number so I can get information myself.

This place is horrible i think they need to hire ppl when i order stuff from another county i get it in 14 days unless it goes thru this office then it takes 45 days why is this office so lazy this need to be brought to someones attention i have a package that has been sitting for 7 days at this office and i live in md and new york is only 6 hours away

2 packages in a month sent through this facility and both delayed. The first was sent Priority and sat in Bethpage for over a week. The package was delivered in 13 days, not the 3-5 stated by Priority. The second package is once again delayed and missed the expected delivery date. Who knows how long this one will sit there.
So far, after tracking my parcel, I notice they do scan when it arrived and when it leaves the facility.
