Very disappointed in the service provided. Would not recommend. Pep boys charged us $$$ to repair our brakes and power steering. They informed us that it was fixed and that this work was under warranty. The problem was not fixed. They put us in danger as the brakes and steering continued to fail. We brought it back multiple occasions to fix the same issue, but it was never repaired. The manager advised us to get another opinion and that as it was under warranty, they would cover the costs of the repair. This turned out to be false. We ended up having to pay twice to fix one problem.

Outstanding customer service, and workmanship! I had my oil changed and tires rotated today, May 25, 2021, all in 40 minutes! I saved $30 on my service with a mailer discount too! Outstanding, competitively priced too! Chris is the Manager and always provides outstanding customer care! Thank you very much, Ill be back!

Chris was great. I had recently gotten a quote for some maintenance on my car and discovered I had a flat when leaving for work. Chris got me in for the fix and also was able to do the maintenance work on my car at the same time. Will be continuing business with them in the future.

Excellent service from Chris and the team. They were friendly, fun and efficient. It was my first time using Pep Boys. I had a battery replaced (great sale price and free installation) and they checked my tires and fixed a tire with a screw in it. Ill be back!

This place is garbage! Went in to get new tires, they told us it would be 450$ total, and they would give us military discount bc we are active duty. They told us it would take 2 hours, it took 4 1/2.. then when we went to pay, they said the price was now 480$ and there was nothing they could do. And the next day, we had another flat tire. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!

Service manager Chris is a rockstar. He went above and beyond to help us out when our truck broke down passing through Napa on a trip. Great shop.

These people are nothing but scammers. I heard so many good things about this place and decided to get my oil changed with them with my last car. Well instead of putting in the right amount of oil they put in way too much, over 2 quarts and it spilled into my engine killing my starter and my ignition coils which I went back to them to fix since they were my regular mechanic. I spent 700$ on my car and not even 30 minutes after leaving it stopped working again. I thought it was just a bad car but now months later I discovered it was because they put in way to much oil. Out of all the mechanics you could go to, don’t come here. They just want your money.

They have no clue what they are doing here. I brought my car in and told them what my friend thought was wrong with it. They just replaced what I said without examining the car for themselves. They said they test drove it and was fixed. When I drove away, my car was still doing the exact same thing. I then took it to my dealership, who fixed the problem. They said this same place also put in the wrong kind of oil when they did my oil change. Don’t take your car here.

Napa California -- Several Pep Boys stores are under suspension following an investigation by the Bureau of Automotive Repair.Customers in the Fresno, Clovis, Merced and Modesto areas will notice the closures for the next two days.Undercover shoppers from the Bureau of Automotive Repair hit four Pep Boys shops in the Valley. According to investigation reports they sent in cars needing specific repairs but came out with pretty hefty bills.Gilbert sanchez with the Bureau of Automotive Repair explained, What they did was they charged additional amounts for services that should have been included in that free A/C system check.The 2011 investigation started when the bureau got complaints about a free A/C check coupon. The nationwide chain was offering the free service for a limited time. But the undercover shoppers say employees werent checking all the parts of the air conditioners, unless the customer paid extra.And this is an industry standard, said Sanchez. So no matter where you go, you will get that same check.A spokesperson for Pep Boys says no customer was ever charged for Pep Boys advertised free A/C check and Pep Boys received no customer complaints regarding this free service. Rather the BAR and Pep Boys disagreed on the procedures required to be followed in conducting the A/C checks under the regulations.Sanchez added, If they continue to violate the regulations or laws involving the automotive repair act that could subject their automotive repair registration to permanent revocation.All four stores face a two day closure along with a three year probation period and a $31,000.00 fine.

It says they are open at 7:30am, Ive waited until 9:00am and they are still closed, people are waiting for them to open, but I guess the manager decided when they are going to be open when he feels like it.

Please retrain your manager at this place and your assistant manager As well I will never do any business here again and will warn my friends and family thAt come here of my horrible experience from the very rude assistant manager and manager! U lost a loyal customer!

I had an appointment scheduled for 8am today (Dec. 31) at the Pep Boys in Napa, Ca. After waiting in the cold for 15 minutes for someone to unlock the door, I took my business to the Midas next door who told me this has been a recurring issue with the morning manager. Not good.

My first time using this business I walked in 10 minutes early they said they are 1/2 hour behind I got the impression it would be longer than that. I cancelled my appointment and wont be back.
