As a local business owner, we always attempt to also use local businesses. These people unfortunately either do not know what they are doing or do not care to be fair with the customer. The quoted price was almost $800 although the online average cost is $468.... Folks research the costs before you agree to anything. Man behind the desk was not even interested in rechecking the cost after he was reminded our vehicle was 2 wheel not 4.

Charlies is always effective and reasonably priced. They have never done more than necessary or wasted time and money throwing parts at a problem, and are always courteous. Theyre one of the best discoveries a new resident to the area can make.

This repair shop has some of most knowledgeable repair technicians. They have fixed mechanical issues on my ford500 that other technicians were confused by. They are very good at tracing wiring issues an repairing them. For all your mechanical issues Charlies Tire & Service is the shop for you.

Went in with a problem with my brakes. They were able to get me in quickly and did an excellent job at reasonable cost.Went back a few days later with a screw in my tire after being told by other shops nearby that they could not help me. Charlie’s had a tech almost immediately take care of the problem. Very personable and service oriented. Will go back when I need further help.Thank y’all a lot

I recently had a tire on my boat trailer go bad right at exit 231 and I-40. I was pleasantly surprised to find Charlie’s Tire service. They were the only people I could find that had the tires I needed. Bryan is the owner and I had the best service I’ve ever had from any tire store. He really treats you like he cares and was right on top of things. He saved our day from being a total bust. We got on down the road and had a great day at the lake. Thank you so much.

If I could give 10 stars I would give 100. Everyone here was nice, professional, and do great, honest work to your vehicle at unbeatable prices. Had a tire put on, front brake pads put on, and an oil change, was in and out within a couple of hours time, even with a lot of business going on at once.. Couldnt be happier.

They installed a radiator on my truck and when they called me to pick it up it was overheating. They told me it had a blown head gasket. After giving the truck away to someone who was going to put a new engine in it, it was found that Charlies didnt remove the plug in the new radiator they installed which was causing it to overheat. The engine was fine and the truck is still being driven today, just NOT BY ME! When I told the owner of this business about the radiator plug, his response was, well, my mechanic does more good than he does bad. He kept my seven hundred dollars and I had to purchase another vehicle. Thank You Charlies tire service. Thank You for NOTHING!

On our way camping, we noticed our camper was bouncing real bad. My husband took it to Charlies Tires and they diagnosed and changed the tires within an hour... on Labor day weekend! Excellent customer service! Now we can proceed with our camping trip as planned 🤗

I went there looking for a used tire, before I could get the question out the man that sits behind the desk says he dont sell used tires. Asked him who does in town told me I could try a shop around the corner. So I asked for the name so I could Google it and he says, oh they dont have a telephone, theyre Hispanics. Found the shop btw and turns out they do have a telephone number. The shop is V & R tires. They have great prices, customer service and used tires. I will never go back to Charlies tire and non-service again.

Let me just tell you, as a car enthusiast I was very impressed! I’m not the type of person to do these onlines ratings, but this place genuinely deserves it. I have a lowered car and always get trouble everywhere I got. (Mainly cause it’s hard to do work on a lowered car and people are lazy.) You can genuinely see the work ethic here. They are not a greedy corporation. They actually see you as a human being and will think twice before taking your money. Over all great southern hospitality. 10/10.

They are quick but charge you double for parts. If you dont mind paying for it then they are great. for example an alternator with part number 7776AV is 121.99(through advance auto and the guy that was there he said was his parts guy was wearing an advance auto shirt) with a $40 dollar core charge which means if you turn the old one in its really only 81.99. they charged me 164.95 for the part. So part cost is astronomical, Speed is amazing, and labor is on par. just wish the didnt mark up the parts so high...

I used to have a very bad view of this place at first when I started taking my Honda there. But since Ive been in the service my mom tells me about the times she has taken it to them to service it and theyve never let her down. She tells me about how theyre always friendly and always manage to get the job done and maintain great quality in their work.

When youre traveling it can be a bit nerve racking to get repairs done on the road. All of the staff was very friendly and they got on the repairs first thing. I would highly recommend Charlies to anyone local or traveling. It was definitely a great experience.

Fast service, family owned and it shows.

Went there with a buddy who needed to get a tire fixed. Asked them a question about my car. Told them Midas want charg me over a grand for shocks and struts. Seemed suspicious, brought in car. They said everything looked good, but recommended a wheel alignment might help. That and oil change, cost me a little over a hundred dollars. Saved me big money. Friendly and honest was the impression I was left with upon leaving.

They always do a good and honest job while being professional and friendly.

They are very slow and customer service needs improvement. Plus the prices are a little too high for the quality of the used tires they sell.
