Although weve only had our new shocks for 24 hours the truck definitely drives better. We are hopeful that they may help enough to allow the hubby to actually feel comfortable driving our fifth wheel. The tires are in good condition but they are the heavy duty off-road tires which also contribute to kind of a rough ride so were thinking about that as well.Now lets talk about Dependable Diesel and Car Care. From the very beginning when I put feelers out as to a few companies that might do this work for us they were very responsive and willing to give us a quote based on what we thought we needed. It feels like so many companies are reluctant to do that, like we are going to hold them to an estimate. The definition of estimate roughly calculate or judge the value, number, quantity, or extent of. The reason we really appreciate an estimate is we dont like to go into debt and even though we may put something on a credit card we always pay it off immediately. In particular with an auto repair we realize when they get the vehicle they may feel its something completely different or that its more than is needed or less may be needed and we simply expect a phone call of explanation before they go forward.So the fact that they gave us an estimate almost immediately was a huge sign of the excellent customer service to come. They worked with me on an appointment and actually couldve taken it in sooner but I wanted to be sure I was able to budget for it, so no problem, they gave us an appointment in the time frame I requested. It was more convenient for us to drop it off the night before so that is what we did. We were shocked when they called us shortly before noon the next day to let us know the truck was ready to be picked up and all was well. The shocks and the repair came with a two-year warranty.I didnt get to meet her but the owners wife handles the books, the phone the appointments etc. and my hubby said she was very nice and very easy to work with.I believe we have found a new auto and truck repair company. Of course were hoping we dont need to see them frequently but its very comforting to know that we feel we have found someone that is fair and gives excellent customer service! We wouldnt hesitate to recommend them!

Called Dependable Diesel and spoke to Gary who diagnosed a fuel pickup problem over the phone! This guy knows diesels and will be doing all the work on my 04 F350 6.0 from now on. Thanks to Amy who runs the office for the excellent communication and facilitating my after hours pickup request!

I was on my way to get an oil change when my check engine light came on in my 2016 F150. I called ahead and they were able to get me in right away. They ran a diagnostic and told me exactly what they thought it was and sent me to get my oil change. They told me that the oil change should correct mynissue and they were right. They didnt charge me a single dime and could not have been more professional. I would recommend them to anyone and already have.

I just had my Ford Diesel pickup worked on by Gary Corson and his bunch at Dependable Diesel in Cedar Park, TX; extremely pleased and satisfied. Gary is the real-deal when it comes to true auto-skill. He fixed some formerly reoccurring problems with my F-250 that had never been detected--and therefore not solved-- by other mechanics. Hes the guy Ive been looking for for fifteen years! And hes by no way limited to diesels or trucks. The shop simply has an aura about it that says, youve finally come to the right place. Whew!

Before starting they told me some of the issues I may come across, to ensure everything moved quickly and made me comfortable enough to give approval on the additional work if necessary. Took my truck in due to overheating. DD crew understood I needed my truck back quick for work purposes and got me in fast. Unfortunately it turned out I needed head gaskets replaced. They were very understanding and didnt give me the stink eye when I didnt have the money at the time to fix my truck. Ive worked at an automotive shop before and know these things are not cheap. So I just took my truck home and parked it. I will DEFINITELY bring it back to them once I have the money. Its almost an hour drive from my home but definitely worth the drive. No gimmicks or smoke and mirrors here. Great people and great service.

Did an injector job for me on my 7.3 and I’m really satisfied with the service. I had two other mechanics throw their hands up in the air and call my rig a booger and an eye sore. One had it for 60’days and did no work.Gary worked with me on price and answered all my questions... even after I misunderstood him about price and got a bad case of frustrated sticker shock. Gary was done within 5 business days AND found and addressed completely unrelated, albeit minor, issues that would have become major problems without charging me. He had his shop open and had my rig running and warm at 7PM on a frigid Friday evening when I picked It up. Aired up my tires too!Good guy. Good price. Good work So far. Thank Gary! I’ll be back.

Great shop. I have an old school Samurai, and this place treats it like it is their own car. Lots of shops in Austin wont even service classic 4 wheelers, so it was refreshing to see a shop who not only works on my car, but does a good job.

LOOK NO FURTHER! You have found the best shop in the County! Recently moving to the area, we were looking for an honest and fair repair shop for our vehicles. Gary and Amy are fantastic. After being told by a local Nissan dealer that we needed lower control arms, Gary inspected our vehicle and let us know they were fine. I knew we needed new shocks and he recommended replacing them as they were leaking. My daughter also uses DD&CC as they were 1/3 less expensive that the other shops in the area when she needed the struts replaced on her MDX,As long as DD&CC is open, well be loyal customers!

I have been bringing cars to Gary for about 3-4 years now and hes never failed us. Hes very thorough and he fixes your car like it was his own. He can work on just about any car that you have very smart guy and hes got an awesome crew. These guys can crank out cars so bring what you got.

Had Gary do a delete on my diesel truck then repair some cut wires under my 2013 ram. Did that so I trusted him. My transmission started acting up. I asked him to quote me on it. He said he would do a 3 year unlimited mile warranty for $5000 which was better than what Eagle had which was a 3 year 30k. Well I should have went with Eagle because Gary had the transmission outsourced to a different shop for the rebuild which I had no idea he went to a whole in the wall shop to get this thing rebuilt. The guy rebuilt it and it never shifted right after I got it back and Gary just dismissed it as it’s just breaking in. Then I was driving one day and the input shaft broke in half. He immediately started blaming me. Turned out the transmission pump that was rebuilt by the guy he took it to went out and stop pumping transmission fluid and lock up the input shaft on the torque converter. He said it was from me abusing the truck which was not the case at all. He knew exactly what I did with the truck and said if I gave him the extra 800 for the upgraded value body I would not have any issues. Then he comes back and said they never installed it. I’m like so you never put the $800 valve body on. He then switch to say they had changed it with a new one but wasn’t upgraded. Next he took it back to the guy that rebuilt the transmission where it sat for a week not being worked on. He then rebuilt it on the second week and completely blew the transmission up on the test drive then the truck sat there for another week before he said the guy isn’t going to fix it and to come pick it up. Then Gary called the cops and said I wasn’t allowed on his property and get it from the guys shop. After blackmailing me to take it to another shop he told me the only way he would fix it is if I gave him even more money. This whole time I’m paying for a rental truck totaling over $3000 for the rental. Then the transmission rebuild for $5k then I had to pay another $2k to get my truck back. Wow this is something he should have said hey I’ll fix this since this guy screwed it up but he did nothing but blame me. Find a different shop. Pay the extra money. He also refused to send me a receipt with the 3 year unlimited miles writ on it. I have him recorded stating it was and refused to put it on paper. Don’t fall victim to this.

Gary is honest and everyone up there is straight forward. Its hard to find an honest mechanic and Im glad I did.

My clutch went out on my 2011 Dodge Cummings at 8:00 last night, my buddy gave me Garys number and said this is a honest dude give him a call. Gary was able to walk me through on how to start in 3rd gear to get my truck there and by doing so he saved me a tow fee. I asked if he could give me a quick turn around the next day due to needing it for work extremely badly. He said it’s likely, but I don’t want to over promise and under deliver. I told him if he did I’ll give him a 50.00 tip. Then when I went to pay him he refused twice to take my tip and told him he’s being rude playfully and he finally accepted it. The real reason why I know I’ll be going back is to him is due to over hearing him having a conversation with another customer about how excited he was about an upcoming mission trip he an family will be going on this summer. With that being said it told me two things, he’s a Christian and his honest. I have been burnt by many mechincs before and I’m extremely happy now that I found a guy that can service my small fleet of trucks and no longer have to worry about shady mechanics.

After talking to other shops and reading all the reviews, I took my f250 diesel truck to Gary. He fixed the head gasket leak problem and delivered my truck to my house. I am very satisfied and will take it to Gary anytime it needs service.
