They have always done a great job with our vehicle repairs at a reasonable price

The mechanic finally came out to the house (15 mins from his shop) to check the car after we had personally already replaced the alternator and battery our selves. He comes with a batter charger/volt meter (ZERO Tools with him). He asks for tools and tightens the serpetine belt. The car runs fine and he then suggest keeping the car over night for inspection. We drive the car to his shop and the car runs fine the entire time. Within 30 minutes of leaving his shop he calls to say that the car is ready for pick up and charges $238?!?! We did all the work and by all means we arent mechanics but we did a solid job except for tightening the belt enough. For people that think he is charging fair my advice is do some research and really understand that he isnt doing anything you cant do your self. He didnt purchase any parts and charged a tremendous amount for literally pushing in a few sensors and tightening the belt with the tools we provided him. I have attached a picture of the invoice and proof that he charged $114 for a simple procedure that we missed, which was performing and idle relearn. A simple 1 sec google search told me exactly how to perform it. Is this 11 step procedure worth $110 not to mention tightening the belt $41? Dont waste your money with overcharging mechanics (scammers).

They really know what they’re doing. They don’t upsell or pressure you into unnecessary repairs. Honest hardworking guys. We’ve had great experiences with our vehicles and so have family members and friends we’ve sent there.

Jesus is a great guy. Worked around our schedule while we were in town for a short time and were in desperate need of help. He saved us a lot of time money and hassle because he is thorough and honest. We didnt even end up needing the compressor because he found a short in our wiring and quickly fixed it. Even the original estimate he gave us our mechanic back home could not touch the price. Wish we had this shop back home! Couldnt be more grateful for this genuine and knowledgeable business! Thanks!

We were headed to a dr appt in Austin and all the sudden our car started lagging and the check engine light started going off. I searched for the nearest car repair shop and saw Mendoza Auto Repair. My husband is a diesel mechanic and says the guy knew his stuff. We thought we were going to miss the doc appt, but Jesus Mendoza had us in and out of there in no time. Very pleasant experience!!
