They were super nice and great communicators. I had some issues getting my tire locks off (lost the key) and they let me know about the issue and the possible solutions. In the end they were able to remove them for me. They did a really good job.

It was easy to make my appointment online. Once I was there for the appointment, and I explained the issue, my ac was not consistently blowing cool air. The gentleman explained the process and gave possible cost scenarios. This was helpful, and I really liked the updates through out the process. When the process took longer than expected, I was given options. But I really wanted the problem solved, and it was. This made me very happy and pleased. Was it expensive? Yes, but I knew going in it could be costly. And ac in the Tx summer is not something I am willing to do without. I feel I made an informed choice, and that they provided excellent quality service to a difficult issue. I am very pleased with the entire process.

I like the scheduled appointments system. I arrived at my selected time, and my car was serviced with no time wasted waiting in the waiting room... which for the record was very comfortable, with a big soft chair to relax in. Service desk employee was incredibly friendly and great to talk to. I liked that they gave me my own choice weather or not I wanted to wear a mask. Price for performed services was outstanding, much more reasonable than I am used to from the dealership service centers. Needless to say, I will be coming back from now on for all of my vehicles.

I have been using Christian brothers since I moved to Leander in 2019 and have been so satisfied by their work. They always are willing to explain the repair and even helped me when a different shop stripped the lug nuts on my tires. When the owner is the one giving you rides to work while your car is being worked on you know he is a guy who cares about his customers. A dealership quoted almost $6,000 in repairs because of oil leaks. CBA did a diagnostic for a second opinion. Upon review, the coolant cap was loose. They replaced the cap and charged for 1/2 hour of labor. Pending a follow-up, I was pleased with the experience.

I called this Christian Brothers location today in tears after being basically robbed by a different mechanic company for 1k, and not only did they personally take care of me, but they took the time to answer my questions and made me feel valued! Long story short I paid all of my savings to get my car fixed in a hurry at a different company. I don’t have a lot of car knowledge so at the time I was made to feel like if I didn’t pay that huge price my car would explode on me as soon as I left the lot so of course I paid right away with no questions asked. 4 months later the same issue popped up, and they wanted to charge me more money. I called in to this locations, and Garret personally took the time to explain to me what I would needed, walked me through the process, and in the same day I drove my car home fixed! From the moment I walked in I was introduced to the owner, told that they were very sorry to hear about my horrible experience at a different company, and basically made to feel like I was their family member that they were taking care of not just a random customer that had called them that morning. If you want to have a professional that you can trust, and you know will take care of you and your loved ones this is the place to go! I will literally never go to any other place again because they changed my life today by just being a good company that goes above and beyond for a stranger!

Best experience I’ve had at a repair shop. These guys are here to help you, not to sell you a systems diagnostic check on your car that doesn’t need to be ran so they can make money or sell you a battery/alternator/distributor when yours if totally fine. If they see something that needs to be taken care of on their daily routine inspections then they have you covered. I will continue to bring my cars here and to top it off you get text updates and you can text what’s needed instead of waiting on a call from someone telling you what’s needed to be done to your car like, yes replace battery and cables! Amazing auto shop! 5 stars all day!!

Work was done well or a lower price than 4 other quotes. My only gripe is my car went in fot 8am appointment but was not ready for pick up until closing time. They should have had the parts already or told me I would have no truck my entire day off. Again.. the job was done well.

What I liked / loved about Christian Brothers Automotive in Leander, Texas: the quick service and the explanation and visual explanations as to what needs to be done to my car, the to and from shuttle due to my wait time, very clean restroom, complimentary water and snack and clean comfortable wait area. The people were friendly and professional. Happy with the service I received.

Horrible service and way overpriced. price gouged a senior citizen. also took advantage of by doing work before it was approved with an estimate. took in for oil change, inspection and air conditioner check( which ended up being charged $125 just to check the a/ c ). They had done an a/ c recharge for $178 but said they would lower to $125 since I didnt get an estimate first or approve it. Went to go get my car and man said he removed the Freon and the $125 was only for an a/c check ( which anywhere is free or $10) but our receipt still says $125 for it to be placed at proper level. major crooks. Also didnt do a tire rotation or air filter change as they needed approval yet did an almost $200 repair without approval.this was also an appointment yesterday for 10 am and they had my suv all day and didnt call until 5:30 pm right before they closed I guess hoping I would make a rushed decision on the other $4 k in esimates they had down for a couple repairs. I asked about why it was so long when I was told a couple hours by the girl when I made the appointment. They said they took first come first serve when they open so if someone gets there at 7 am appointments are put on the back burner when I had the appointment made for almost a week.* WHEN I DROPPED MY SUV OFF AT 10 AM yesterday the girl said they would not do any work until we got an esimate and was approved. This was not the case. We did not recieve any type of ESTIMATE until after 5 pm and the work had long been done by then.** The process that was not needed since it might need something further & not approved of an evac & recharge was not completed since the FREON WAS REMOVED and yet they still charged so was scammed.*** IN RESPONSE TO We offer competitive prices on this service & you will find that this isnt free at any shop you visit WE DID NOT GET THIS SERVICE SINCE THE FREON WAS REMOVED. AS QUOTED BY THE GUY AT PICK UP THIS WAS AN A/C CHECK FOR $125 Which is insane.We would have paid $38.99 to not have the freon taken back out after paying $125 too. This is completely crooked and abuse to a senior. As well as getting verbally abused by the Guy at pick up.

Hands down the best shop experience I have ever had. Coming from a guy who can tackle about anything automotive on my own, I encountered an electrical issue that I just could not pin down and finally had to give in and hand it off. The team at CB Leander explained absolutely every step of the diagnosis and gave me daily updates, sometimes multiple times in a day. IF I ever need to fall back on another shop for work this is where Im heading. Every member of the staff is kind, courteous and knowledgeable.

I was horrified at my appointment today. We are very careful at home as my spouse is in a nursing home and I have health conditions.Every single staff inside (3) had masks off.The technician went to my car and attempted to drive it with OUT a mask. I had to run over there, ask him to get out of the car and put a mask on.I know mask use is controversial and to each their own. But when a customer enters a place of business and they lack respect for their customers, It’s appalling.So if you are taking Covid precautions seriously or are health compromised- avoid CHRISTIAN BROTHERS IN LEANDER!

Short Version: Christian Brothers saved me $2,500 in car repairs at their own expense. You should use this place for your routine auto maintenance and repair needs. Honest, professional, convenient, and educational.Long Version: I walked into Christian Brothers with quotes for four problems I received from another auto shop in the area. The other shop was prepared to charge me about $3,500 total for all four repairs. Garrett at Christian Brothers took the time to let me explain the timeline of the issues I was experiencing and gave me a quote for what CB would charge for the same repairs. But he also suggested they run a complimentary diagnostic, as some of the repairs did not seem necessary or even applicable to my problems. After their diagnosis, they determined one of the four issues was nonexistent, another was there but the quote misdiagnosed it, and the other two were caused by the same problem. After fixing everything that actually needed to be repaired at CB, I ended up spending only about $1,000. Jeff was helpful in handling my case and keeping me updated throughout the process. They send regular update texts, are willing to give you (and show you) a clear overview of the issues with your car, and provide immediate complimentary shuttling to and from the store. Cant say enough good things about this place. If youve got a quote from somewhere else thats a little cheaper, go to CB anyway. I promise its worth it.

Service-wise I have no complaints. Every time we have had work done there hasn’t been an issue. Lately there have been a few issues of overbooking and we’ve had to get our car back without having the work done bc they couldn’t get to it. At that time we didn’t feel like a bad review was necessary. However this last experience was bad enough for me to take the time to write something that maybe will be helpful for others thinking about going here. We decided to take my car to another mechanic previously (who was recommended) to do a diagnostics on a check engine notification but thought since we were loyal to CBA and since it wasn’t imperative we’d wait and have the service completed at CBA when the car was due for an oil change. The other mechanic did not charge for the diagnostics and their quote was FAR lower as it turns out. I opted not to do the service at CBA and mentioned that the other place was quite a bit lower. Garrett was defensive and condescending. I wasn’t looking for an argument, but now we will no longer be going here. All I will say is it pays to look around. We will not be recommending CBA to anyone.

I had an issue with my engine that was caused by an awful oil change from another service that affected the engines electrical system. Also - they are very honest, and will let you know what repairs can wait and which ones cant. Love their setup and communication via emails and texts, it makes it really easy for customers to review what needs work and to approve the parts that they would like CB to work on. We had problems with the air conditioner and it looked like it could be several things. They gave me quote, and even though it was a more than I was hoping for, I went ahead and had them do the work. It ended up taking more time and more parts than they quoted, but they made sure everything was fixed properly and they honored the price on the original quote and did not add to it. That kind of service is rare nowadays and they totally earned my respect.No, it did not go as smoothly or as quickly as we had hoped, but sometimes once you get into a project it turns out being more involved that you first anticipate. Sometimes situations just happen and its how a company deals with them thats important. Ill say the Christian Brothers dealt with the issues in the best way possible and I am totally impressed with the level of service I received.A special thanks to Garret at the Leander location for keeping me informed of what was happening and shuttling my wife and I back and forth to the shop as he worked around our schedule so we could use the car for a few days even without the AC while he was waiting on parts.

So here is my experience. I first called I needed a quote for a heater core replacement and the guy on the phone told me it was gonna be free if I took my car so that they could see my car and give me the quote. I go in the next day and the guy at the counter tells me its going to be $62.50 to check the pressure on my coolant, that should have been a huge red flag too get out of there. Im like ok thats fine just give me a quote as to how much a heater core replacement is going to cost me. I go back to pick up my car and I pay for the pressure test, they give me two papers and do not give me a single explanation of the diagnostics or how much its going to cost me to replace the heater core until I am them so is a mechanic going to talk to me or something about the diagnostics. They then give me the explanation of what they have to do but they are telling it too me in a way like Im a hassle being there. I dont know the name of the guy at the counter but he seemed to roll his eyes when I asked him to explain the diagnostics. Im fine with the price of the heater core replacement but I ended up realizing I just spent $66 with taxes for them to literally tell me that my heater core needs to be replaced when I already knew it needed to be replaced, like I can see coolant coming out of it. Complete waste of time and money. Another thing is they stole my split key ring that was on my key. I didnt even notice it was missing until I got home, NOT VERY CHRISTIAN in my opinion. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Highly recommend. We had an issue with our alignment that they fixed. After a few months we noticed our tires were wearing unevenly. Turns out somehow our wheels had gotten out alignment again, but since they warranty all their work, without asking they replaced the tires and fixed the issue for good. I love having a mechanical shop I can trust to do the job right.

Last week was my first time using Christian Brothers in Leander and I was so impressed with their customer service. I called ahead of time to request an oil change and they managed to fit me in within a couple of hours. When I dropped off I added a state inspection to my service and they still managed to get my vehicle in and done within the time period I needed. The staff was friendly in person and on the phone, I received text alerts throughout the service which made planning for the rest of my day much easier. Brad dropped what he was doing, drove to where I was broke down and jump started my truck!He then provided a quote for the repair, completed the repair, and had me back in my vehicle in just an hour or so. I’ve used Christian Brothers in Cedar Park twice and swear they are the best. Went to this Leander one to schedule service and left unsure if it was done. I asked the guy at the desk to call me and let me know how much my auto coverage would cover, no call. I went elsewhere. It was just not a friendly experience as at Cedar Park, felt unsure about this place.

If youre looking for an honest place to take your vehicle, this is the place to go . The staff is extremely kind and well mannered. They treat you like family here, and I did not at all feel like they would ever try to get me to do more work than what is needed. Honest auto service and repair at Christian Brothers Automotive in Leander! Brad, Crystal and Jeff are very friendly, professional, easy to work with, non-pushy people. They provide you with an honest evaluation. The waiting area is clean and comfortable and they also have a courtesy shuttle if you need a ride. Cant say enough good things about the experience working with them - they truly treat all their customers the way they would want to be treated.Took my car in for a check engine light indicating a leak in the Evap system. I have no idea how to diagnose or fix it. They ran a smoke test to try to find the source of the leak. They didnt find it. They didnt try to sell me any service related to it - only consider replacing as a bad gas cap can sometimes cause this code to be triggered. I couldve been taken for a ride (no pun intended) by a shady mechanic trying to sell me services I dont need, but they were so honest and helpful. Ill continue taking my vehicles there for service and repairs!

Loved that they had contactless service. I needed to have our vehicle inspected. Was able to get next day appointment. Drop off was easy. Vehicle was ready within maybe 30 minutes. They sanitized my vehicle before I went to pick it up. All while texting me details of what was happening. Really glad they offered contactless, but even more impressed that they sanitized after they serviced my vehicle. We are a high risk family of six and I was really worried about having to get my state inspection while Covid is going on. Will definitely be using them so long as they continue to offer the contactless service.
