Years ago I wrote off Discount Tire and have been avoiding them at all costs. But my husband likes them so here I am. And now I have to eat my words because this location has been amazing! Chris R exemplifies great service. Highly recommend this location.

Our tire light came on recommending air check asap. We happened to be close to our discount tire location and stopped by. We went to the air pressure check stand and received prompt service and found all tires needed air. Another reason why I buy my tires from discount tires.

I was limited on budget and time when the manager, Ferren and assistant manager Cameron, stepped in to help me out. They were both friendly, professional and tried their best to accommodate me. I would highly recommend 10/10.

Free tire pressure checks are great however every time I go to any discount tire store to get the free pressure checks they never put my valve stem covers back on really irritating have to buy new valve stem caps next time guess I will have to baby sit the tech to make sure he puts them back on can’t trust no one .

As always discount Tire is 100% about good customer service. Thats all they do. Had a set of sensors installed in a trailer today for tire pressure monitoring that will tie into my truck they made sure that it was programmed right and that it was working correctly before I left

Tara is awesome! She got on the ground and diagnosed a nail in a tire so I didnt have to wait 2 hours to see if I needed a new tire or repair. The follow through is top notch! Ive been coming here for 6 years. Ive had many vehicles with discounts tires on them and have even gifted them to my mom. Nail in tire, not repairable, no problem. With the certificate we get a free tire and are on our way! Great customer service and always friendly faces!

Always a pleasure dealing with Discount. First time at an Austin area store but same great service as Ive received in Houston for many years. Reasonable price for 4 new Michelins for wifes SUV. Cant ask for more.

This discount tire location impressed me! All of the staff I interacted with and saw were extremely competent, kind, and efficient. They didnt have the tires I needed in stock, but they quickly ordered them, contacted me when they arrived, and got them put on as quickly as they could. Really appreciate this kind of service!

This store service quality is terrible! It use to be good, but now just terrible. I sent my son over to rotate tires, he was told they would put truck in within 30 minutes then have it within an hour. 2.5 hours later he checked and they told him there was 3 cars in front of him. Not good and will find another store to visit, for this one has lost all quality of the great service Discount Tire offers. Too bad.

I went in at 8 for a tire balance and rotation and I was told I would be done at 9 but they had me out the door at 0845. Great service all around

This is the worst discount tire I have ever been to! I was ignored for 30 minutes in the lobby while they kept asking to help and cash out people who were picking up their vehicle. Then I had told the guy taking my information that I needed the keys left in my car after the tire was fixed (I had a friend pick me up after I was told it would be a 4 hour wait) because I would have no way of picking up my car with my two kids as a single mom, and they didn’t leave them there. Now they are closed tomorrow (Sunday) and open at 8 Monday which is the time I need to be at work. I gave them instructions and confirmed multiple times that my keys would be left in the car and now because they refused to do that, I’m having to go without a vehicle for 2 days and figure out how to get to my car without my kids two car seats, miss work, and also have no way of getting groceries or things done on my only day off from work as a single mom.

NEW CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!I initially brought my car to Goodyear for flat repair (2nd in two weeks). I was feeling good about this one because the puncture was located way in the safe zone for a plug-n-patch. After keeping my car for several hours (I had a 9AM appointment) they told me that the flat was illegal to fix and my only option was to buy a new tire for $278. Same story as two weeks prior (fool me once...).Long story short: I made an appointment for Discount Tire. They measured to make sure the puncture was legally fixable, did the repair and had me out of there in 25 minutes for $0. The Leander location runs like a top which includes terrific customer service, text alerts and a live view of your vehicle status in the repair pipeline. This is a no-brainer. For anything tire or wheel related, Discount Tire gets my business going forward. I

Exceptional experience! If I could rate them higher than 5 stars, I would. The customer service is next level. Simply had a tire repair and was treated if I had bought 4 new tires. I will be purchasing tires here when I need them. Highly recommend without hesitation!

Had to stand in line for 20-30 minutes before even being acknowledged and had to wait several more minutes before being helped. Was there to have one tire mounted onto a rim that i had off of the car. Waited for 30 minutes then it took another 15 to get to where the guy had my info pulled up and made the work order and he says $30.54... I said wait what? To get one tire mounted that is off of the vehicle?! I said what happened to $10 or $12 whatever it used to be. $30 bucks to mount a tire. Discount Tire in Leander is HIGH! And why waste almost an hour of my time. Why not just tell me from the get go ok it is 30 bucks is it ok with younsir if we are this high? They are crooks taking advantage of the people of Leander. I always recommend anybody go to Discount Tire for anything tire related. After today never again.

Ferren is the best.Went there with my wife to pick out tires and rims for her truck. My wife is a picky and visual person so this was going to be a challenge. He patiently walked us through rim selections based on the brand/color/style she was looking for. Once we settled on that, he took us to the back to personally look at the different tire options. He even rolled a few out to the truck to give my wife a visual at her vehicle and explained the pros and cons of different size options. He gave us outstanding service when he had a store full of other customers. If you needs rims and tires, hes your guy.

I found a screw in my tire two days ago so I made an appointment at this location. The employee I spoke with that day confirmed they had four of the same brand in store and they wouldnt need to be ordered. I arrived for my appointment today and the employee who checked me in verified that they had the tires in stock and Id be out in 40 minutes. 15 minutes goes by and the employee informs me that he cant find my brand of tires. He offered to put a mismatched tire on my car and I could come back, or he could sell me 4 new tires. My tires are less than a year old. These were unacceptable options.The assistant manager, Martin, offered to drive to the next nearest discount tire and get my tire from them. Not only did Martin get the tire from the nearest discount tire, he stayed past closing to put it on my car.Ive been a customer of discount tire for a long time and Martins actions and resolution of my issue is why Ill continue to do business with discount tire.Martin, youre the man! I greatly appreciate you going above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied.Cant recommend discount tire enough!

I had a great experience today at Discount Tire! One of my wheel covers was missing after getting new tires and they weren’t sure if they lost it or if it was missing initially and I really didn’t know either. Instead of leaving me without one, they grabbed one from the back and took care of me. The overall service was great but this was the cherry on top!

They have great customer service, but my God are they busy. Customer suggestion: Keep a bay open just for flats and put customers who bought their tires as somewhat of a priority.To follow up I went in the next morning to drop off just the tire and the staff was amazing, as always. I think it was the manager that came out and helped me with the tire. Helped get the spare on to torque spec and air spec. Great job. Blown away.

Went to Discount Tire with a Washer/Screw in the middle of my tire in hopes to get it patched up. I showed up and was taken care of fast and professionally by Martin! He also let me know the status of all my other tires and the tread left. I know I will be back in about a year to get a full set of 4 tires. Discount Tire has once again be my go to for anything Tire related! Thank you!

I have to say the manager of this location knows how to make a negative experience a positive one. Ordered tires got the confirmation they were in came in on a Saturday morning (no appointment). Long wait to then find out the tires were not on location. 90 min later they arrived. The manager more than fairly compensated me for the wait without me having to ask for anything. To top of off he gave me $20 to get some food. Things do not always go as planned but they do understand how to take care of their customers. This is a rare thing now days. 100% only place I will go in the future.

So much better than the 1431 location near Home Depot. They take the time to do it correctly and didnt damage my wheels like the other location.

Though obviously running short handed, I was quickly recognized and promptly taken care of. The lobby was clean and cool. Service was beyond expectations.

Normally the best tire people but they wouldnt repair a tire they installed due to incorrect weight capacity. While I understand why they are the ones who installed the tires.

I have been a Discount Tire customer for over 20 years and this afternoon I had a rather urgent situation, a flat tire. I did not know if I could get home so I went to Discount Tire and arrived about 5:30 pm. I was told they could not get to it until around 9:00 pm. I wasnt pleased but I did not have much choice. I went to get something to eat and while I was eating I got a call from Discount Tire at 6:11 pm telling me they were not going to fix it tonight. I paid extra for the extended warranty but I now regret it. Discount Tire just lost a 20 year + customer.

Ive been a fan of this store since it opened - Ive taken 3 family vehicles here and had great services. Lately theyve been so crowded the check-in process has been confusing - they will probably get this addressed quickly

They lost my lug key, found it 20min later. Forgot to reset tps, when they reset it, low and behold faulty sensor. Same as always. Frustrated and disappointed. Used to be a really great company. Now its just what else can we sell them.

Okay so I have to share this story, Because the people at this discount tires are genuinely good ppl so to make a long story short and shirt story even longer here we goSoo I blew my front tire right had to be towed to this discount tires only had $50 bucks in the bank and I do deliveries so I really needed my vehicle to get back to work the thing was not only did I blow the one tire but the other tire was about to blow too and they gave me a second tire and refuse to let me leave with my car with the other tire still on, this is a community based shop and they care about their community wish more businesses took as much pride in their community as this Discount tires location in Leander truly humbled by my experience and your whole team truly rocks not a bad apple in the building !!!

I went in with a nail stuck in my tire and they were pretty quick. Despite the amount of people waiting, I was able to leave my car and in about two hours got a call from them and picked it right up. I can say they are professional and will be taking my car for tire maintenance to them from now on. Great Work y’all!

Decent wait times for walk-ins, about 2 to 3 hours. My only negatives are: you can end up waiting 30 to 40 minutes to be able to leave your car with them, if you have a prescheduled appointment. Second is that tires almost never have caps on them when I receive my car back, so make sure to check your tires before heading out.The workers here have all been polite and courteous and have never tried to sell me more than what I needed.

I needed a tire repair found out it was not repairable purchased a new tire for a great price. Derek was receptive on the phone with my initial contact, then when I got into the facility Will took care of me and everything went very well they are highly competent and great people at Discount Tire Leander. In addition this was not my first visit they are my go-to for tires for several years now. Greatful customer.

Took in my 1969 Mustang and they were conscientious of the pinch welds and did a great job.

I was told to bring my car in so they could take a look at my tire. I went there and was totally ignored. We walked up to the counter and was told to take a seat that someone would be with us shortly didnt get our name or anything. We sat there for about 15 to 20 mins being ignored while others coming in after us got helped. Worse experience ever.

They were very customer oriented. My daughter was from out of town with a flat and they were very helpful and made sure she was able to make it back to Ft Worth safely.

Just got my tire patched up and it was a much easier experience than I had imagined! The staff was incredibly friendly and tried their best to get me through the process as quickly as possible even though a) it was pretty busy and b) I had made an appointment but at another location. They let me wait in the car until a bay spot opened up so I didnt have to go inside the store, and when servicing my car they had outdoor chairs placed a good distance apart from each other. I will definitely be going back if I ever need tire services!

I have been a lifelong customer because they understand what “customer experience” is and how to provide the best possible experience. Unfortunately I have had to shop at other tire shops from big chain to local used, felt like I was cheating on Discount Tire lol and definitely wished I hadn’t but that’s a story for a different platform. We always get great service here. Recently something was stripped when a wheel was getting put back. I understand things go wrong from time to time so I place a high value on how a business handles it when there is a mishap. Ive never had a bad experience here. The front desk people must go through done rigorous customer service training or maybe they just hire people that are natural at customer service.They dont try to oversell or upsell you. They provide recommendations where necessary without being pushy.I had an appointment at 10:30. Waited in line for a few minutes. Once I met with the service technician, we checked out the vehicle and they took my vehicle in within a few minutes. In and out within 30 minutes.Also I bought my Michelin tires here in 2016. The technician asked me if I even drive the vehicle much because the tread has held up so well. Ill definitely replace them here when the time comes!

I used to love these guys but their curbside check in leaves much to be desired. I have made 3 trips since the beginning of the pandemic. The first time I had an appointment for me tires. Check in was quick but then I sat until they called me to see if I was going to show up for my appointment and I told was sitting in their chairs. The second time I had a flat and no appointment. I waited 20 minutes to check in so I could wait 2 hours. Now Im here a third time with an appointment to fix the same tire. Waited 30 minutes for them to tell me to park the car and come in. Now it is 20 minutes past my appointment time and it will hopefully be an hour or less and there are a longer if people waiting behind me. So sad to watch their quality go down so low.

Sometimes problems show the truth of customer service. After a tire rotation, one of my caps rolled off a mile away after leaving. I recovered it to find cracks that made it unusable. Discount Tire offered to replace the Honda factory cap, or get me a full set of no-name caps (which saved them money, and me time). Derek, the manager at the time, took care of me in such a pleasant way that Im a customer for life as long as the service stays this great. Thank you!

Derek at Leander Discount Tire is awesome! He found the tires I needed and had them delivered to this store. I couldn’t get to the store until 6 PM but he told me no problem if you get here by 6p we’ll get the tires on for you! He even helped out with getting me air pressure sensors that I didn’t even realize were broken on 2 of my tires.Excellent “above & beyond service”. Highly recommend!

I recently purchased new tires for my vehicle 4 days ago. I was told the larger size would rub so I settled with the smaller ones. After a few hours of research I found out that the bigger tires I originally wanted did not rub and if they do it’s minimal and you can trim the plastic to avoid rubbing. So the next day I call them and ask to order the larger tire for a test fit and they did. I payed additional money which I understood. When they ordered them they told me to come in the next day. I asked to set an appointment and they said to not bother it’s just a tire test to see if it would fit. I come to discount and was told there are only 4 cars ahead of me. 50 minutes later I’m still sitting outside and by that time I saw at least 15 cars come and go. I went inside to ask how much longer and was told I’m next. After about another 30 minutes and after at least 6 cars that came and went I went to the desk to ask why I was told I was next and apparently was not. They told me they are taking appointments first. Well I would of made an appointment 4 days ago if I would of known. I could tell he panicked when he saw me coming in over an hour later from my initial check in and when I seemed a little frustrated and after he told me they are taking appointments first he went outside to ask the men when I was up. About 6 men all looking at the list seemed confused. Apparently when I first came in I wasn’t put in line and I knew that because Dan said he didn’t need my keys. When they know who’s up next they pull out a folder with keys in it out of a little wall filer. So he comes back in and tells me he personally was going to try and get me into a bay which didn’t really matter because it’s his fault I was here for 70 minutes before my truck was even touched. Long story short it’s apparent they do not care if you’ve already paid for tires and you want to swap them out even if your paying almost $200 more. Never will I be using discount tire again.

Top notch customer service! Go here for any of your tire needs. The entire staff is so amazing and helpful. Cameron was especially helpful to me when I happened to pop my tire on some metal scrap at a nearby parking lot. He truly went above and beyond to make sure I was back on the road safely. These days, I rarely see this quality of customer service from anyplace. And after dealing with other staff members, I can see that it is not only Cameron, this service is in their culture. $122.75 to change two tires.Went in to have my two rear tires replaced with new specialty tires that I was supplying and that they do not carry. Pretty simple for a tire giant? I felt taken advantage of and primed for whatever (a sale) as the man took my info. Asked for the cost up front before I waited and was told $122.75 to dismount, mount, and balance the two rears, plus tax and disposal. I declined and left angry. Later I called the store to talk to the manager and asked him if it was true that they calculate cost by size as the associate had told me, he confirmed, and I asked if he thought that was a fair price and he couldnt agree but as I reasoned with him he stated it was because I brought my own tires. He then offered me to reduce the cost to $80 dollars and I said that wouldnt be unreasonable but declined.Based on my experience here and after calling the Whitestone - Parmer store, I feel that the brand is driven by predatory sales practices and buys should beware.I got the job done at 1 Stop Tire down the street for $65.

I will wait 2.5 hours for a balance and rotate at this store before I go to any other Discount Tire. I have been going to this location since it opened and have always been treated with respect.

As always, my most recent visit to Discount Tire went smoothly. I did not have an appointment, but they got me in and out. Their staff provide the best customer service..

This is the second time Ive shown up first thing on a Saturday to wait in line at this location. Last time there were maybe 4 or 5 employees waiting to help and so the wait to get in the queue was about 20 minutes, this morning they had 7 or 8 waiting to help. This has probably been the fastest service Ive had in a while. The staff is always friendly (and the store is clean) and quick and I love being able to order and reserve the tires I need online. Thanks for stepping up the game on staffing for a Saturday morning. This has made a busy mom with a million things to do today happy.
