The maintenance representative was cordial, informative and honest. Inspected both units inside and out. Best of all, even though he couldn’t replace the air handler the same day, he made sure it was able to blow cool pending the expected installation the following day. In thisTexas heat, I couldn’t ask for more.Day 2: the installers arrived a half hour early which was fantastic. They evacuated the existing Freon from the old air handler then removed it. The whole installation took about a couple hours. After they turned everything back on there was serious air exchange and it was so much quieter . I want to set up a seasonal maintenance agreement with this company to keep it running smoothly because they are timely and efficient .

Daniel did a wonderful job of inspecting our a/c unit. We thought we had a leak and come to find out it was our roof. Even though he didnt service our unit, he did an amazing job of thoroughly examining it and explaining preventive care for our 15yr old unit. We will definitely be using them again! Colby arrived to find my dad trying to move a very heavy wheelchair lift to provide access to the attic ladder. He immediately offered his assistance and was extremely helpful in moving the lift, which was certainly not something he was required to do. They don’t honor the deal. I was told on phone while scheduling that the visitation charges will be waived off if I decide to use the service and get the issue fixed by them but that was not the case, technician just said that we are not offering the waive off anymore. His only focus was on selling me the maintenance plans and once he got to know I am not buying it he started giving all the excuses to get the visitation fee. Very unprofessional attitude. I would avoid this company at all cost.
Colby responded within 2 hours after initial call. Within 10 minutes he knew exactly what was wrong. He ordered a control panel. As soon as it came in Nick came out and installed it. The owner of the company Shelly is very responsive to customers needs. She takes calls personally. The folks that we met that work at this company were all good folks. They worked hard and thankfully it was cool outside but to do this job o n a hot day in a home where folks won’t let them use their restrooms etc would be just absolute misery. Three different folks came to the house and they were all affable, kind, and considerate. I replaced an entire HVAC and ducts and all that goes along with that, upgraded the system for a better EPA rating and believe they sell quality products. I recommend this service.
I had no idea that HVAC units need tune ups. I happened upon the knowledge. I called to ask questions regarding what it all entails and Shelly walked me through and was very friendly throughout our conversation. Super sweet and caring! We had an issue with our AC, so I found Quality C&H and submitted a service request through their website. I got a call about 30 minutes later, spoke to a very professional and friendly gentleman to discuss the issue. About 60 seconds after the call, I got a text from the dispatcher notifying me of the technicans availability and I confirmed via text. This was the smoothest and most convenient process Ive ever experienced. About an hour later, Colby showed up. Professional, to the point, and provided full disclosure (HONEST SERVICE!). At the implication that the repair *could* be costly, we decided to try to go through the home warranty. After Colby left, we thought about our options and decided to go with Quality due to their professionalism and honesty. Colby is representative of a true a professional, and came back out the very next day and got us fixed and verified in less than 45 minutes. The whole experience was such a pleasure and breath of fresh air, as service calls to the home for ANY reason can be very stressful, as you never know who is going to show up and what kind of service youll get. Quality took great strides in ensuring that we were serviced quickly, and even sent some info about our technician before he arrived so that we knew who to expect. We signed up for the bi-annual service because we were so impressed and we feel most comfortable with them keeping us cool this summer. Thank you guys!!
Quality Coiling & Heating recently removed and replaced four ducted A/C systems in my business, a very complex process that took several days and cost many many thousands of dollars. The results are that my customers have gone from sweating to complaining about how cold it is in my business!The folks at Quality Cooling and Heating give first-class service at a fair price. Their name fits perfectly because they respond quickly and they do conscientious, QUALITY work. The very first day of the replacement project, they discovered that one of my gas furnace vent pipes has probably been leaking for years, spewing deadly carbon monoxide into my attic space. Its a miracle that no staff or customers ever suffered any ill effects from this incredible lapse. Before discovering Quality, Id had multiple A/C service companies working on my units over the last few years and not one ever did a thorough enough of an inspection to discover the leaking vent pipe.Most importantly, the owners Fred & Shelly (for some reason, I kept calling her Ethel but she never complained ;-) ) and techs Colby, Daniel and Little Man (Chase) all have great attitudes and are always a pleasure to work with. I sought $79 HVAC tune up service from this business in Dec 2020. The service staff came on time and was polite in their interactions. The house was only 2 years old and there was really nothing to tune or repair. It was just a checkup to make sure all was okay since we had just moved into the house as renters. The reason why I am giving 3 stars is because I felt the service staff was less than forthcoming about not having any work to do for the HVAC in our house. They acted as if they were doing something just to look busy. After inspecting the indoor components, they went out to inspect the outdoor unit of the AC. Rather than inspecting the unit, while I was inside my home, they simply sat in their car for 20 mins passing time just to make it look like they were hard at work. I observed them from my home window for 10 mins and then came out to ask them what is going on. The service staff person immediately jumped out of the car (anxious from having realized he has been caught) and started saying that he was working and inspecting the unit. Overall, I felt bad for the persons disingenuity. Perhaps, the staff member had pressures from their management to make it look like he was hard at work but he could have been quite frank that there was nothing to do. Who knows, unfortunately, what bad past experiences from customers this person might have had which made him behave like this.In-spite of no work, I would have still paid, nevertheless.Because my trust was broken and I have heard so many stories of service personnel making it look like they are working when they are actually not, it is now hard for me to differentiate whether this business honestly conducts themselves or not. Hence, I wont be giving my business to them again.
After Colby came the first time, I promptly received an electronic receipt. But I could not find the repair estimate. So I had to look up the national (?) number again. And they gave me a number, but it wasnt the correct number. They did notify Colby, who promptly called me, and I finally got the correct office number and his cell number. That took about 20 minutes. Would have worked better for me if the two correct numbers had been on that receipt.
Our technician, Colby, was great - turns out it was a simple fix, a problem caused by the outages in February. He fixed the immediate problem and then also gave us some ideas on how to better protect and maintain the system going forward. We will definitely call Quality Cooling & Heating next time we need help!

Its been a long time since Ive been so please with a service call! Quality Cooling & Heating sent Nick and Tyler to conduct my regular tune-up for my two HVAC units but before they even arrived I was impressed by the level of communication, promptness, professionalism, and amazingly cordial experience.From the very beginning I was informed of exactly what they were going to do and the thorough and clear explanations of my options. I never felt pressured or oversold. I also highly appreciated the respectfulness I was given and the willingness to share technical information (since Im an engineer and understand a bit) which proved that Nick and Tyler were extremely knowledgable and experienced in their field and I was entirely comfortable with their assessments. I also received quite an education as well, Im sure one day these guys will be teaching in an HVAC college!In the end, I got great service for an great price. I was so satisfied I had no trouble signing up for their maintenance plan which will ultimately save me money in the long run.Quality Cooling & Heating will be my go-to HVAC service company from now on and they will certainly be installing my replacement AC units when the time comes.

Colby came out to diagnose the problem with my ac. After looking at the indoor unit for 2-3 minutes came back and told me my evaporator coil was bad and needed replaced and it would cost $2700 to replace it. Not trusting his diagnosis, because it was a little too fast for me, I had another company come take look and they found a heavy leak at the outdoor coil and nothing wrong with the evaporator coil. If this is how business is done at QUALITY HEATING AND COOLING, then no thanks.
This company is amazing. My old unit was the original from the house 50+ years old. They explained everything in terms I could easily understand. The estimate that quoted was the total. Nothing added on at the end. They showed up on time did the job and no sign they had been here when they left except that I had a new inside and outside units that are purring along as I speak. I recommend this company.I was texted when technician was on his way to me. I knew his name before he arrived.He arrived within 1 hour of my call. Informed me of costs before repair. Explained cause of problem and options for future care. Checked furnace. Only thermostat needed replacement.

Colby came out today (able to come the same day I called) to assess why our AC wasnt properly cooling. He was actually (initially unbeknownst to him) performing a 2nd opinion. WOW! What a difference HONESTY makes! His assessment seemed legit, offered different solutions that varied in price depending on which route we decided to pursue, and could all be provided within a reasonable timeframe . We selected what we were comfortable with and now have WORKING air. Would definitely recommend and use again!
When our AC went out over the summer, I gave Quality a call. Colby came out, assessed the issue and came back at me with two options; complete new unit or just a bandaid to get us up and running. We are super happy that we chose the new unit option. Our old unit was about 15 years old and it had been struggling to keep our home cool. It was already around 3 pm by the time everything was said and done. They had to order the unit and didn’t have an exact date as to when it would be in, so they went back to their yard and picked up an old but good unit and let us borrow it while we waited!! It was AMAZING to be able to sleep through that 100 degree evening!! It actually didn’t take more than two days and they returned with our new unit. They quickly uninstalled the borrowed unit and installed our brand new system. These guys are very professional and even the city inspector was extremely impressed with the work they did when he was done inspecting the whole install. I can’t thank Quality enough for the work they did. You have a customer for life!!

I originally gave a one star review because I was quoted $530 for a problem with my hvac that involved finding and fixing a freon leak in my compressor (the freon itself was a separate charge so it was not included in this part of the quote) This service repair took, at most, 30 minutes. When I agreed to this service I had no idea it would take such a small amount of time. if you are accustomed to paying this kind of money for repairs, go ahead. But I expect some value for the money i spend. About the Freon, according to home advisor freon can be purchased for $75-$175 for a jug of 25 lbs. I was charged $45 per lb for 13 lbs, so $585. The average charge per hour to install freon is $70. Again, 30 minutes at most. I called the number they have posted to call if you are unhappy. The man with the number called me back and said he had nothing to do with Quality and he had this number for many years. AS AN UPDATE...the owner of the company left his number as a response to my review and he was understanding of my point of view, he agreed to refund the money for the quick find and repair of the freon leak ($530).That should have been considered part of the trip charge in my mind. Fred Bilbao, the owner, suggested Daniel, the service person,, should have talked to a supervisor about the charge and asked for an exception. Daniel seemed very competent as a repair guy but left my unit with out the screws replaced that keep the panel he removed in place. I can do that. I checked another HVAC place and they wanted the same price per lb to install freon. Again home advisor said a 25lb tank of freon costs between $75 and $175. I have a handyman friend who bought some this spring for something close to $100. I figured out that the number posted in the website to call if you are unhappy has Freds number but the wrong area code. 817 should be 512. I changed my stars on my review from one to three because of Freds understanding. I may have been the exception among their customers, it seems most are happy.

He was so professional and just a nice guy. Had us fixed up and done by 6:30. I was so impressed that I signed up for the maintenance plan which we obviously needed to do. Thanks for your help Colby!
Our A/C unit failed after we lost power during a storm. When my wife and I discovered our A/C using not cooling our house after work, called them! They came and fixed our unit in less than an hour and a half!

After using another HVAC company for the last 20 years, we had a maintenance performed around Thanksgiving to get ready for winter. A day after the maintenance, our system kept tripping the furnace breaker. We called the company to let them know what was happening and they sent the tech back out to look at the issue. They problem kept repeating with 4 to 5 other techs either telling me it was nothing they did, telling me to replace the breaker, ( I Did $200.00), then replace the circuit board, ( I Did $500.00), still having the same issue and the company basically telling me that it was a electrical issue and it was not their problem even though I never had a issue until they did the maintenance.I decided it was time for someone else to look at the issue. I called Quality Cooling and Heating based on neighbors recommendations and Colby Smith came out that day and looked at the issue, he tried something with the fan to rule out one possibility. After that the breaker tripped again which led to his recommendation of replacing the fan motor. They ordered the part and replaced it right after Christmas, I am happy to say the problem has been fixed. I can not thank Colby and all the staff at Quality Cooling and Heating for the professionalism and great service. They are now my new HVAC company!!!

Called a competitor that we have done business with in the past first thing this morning (Saturday). Did not receive a call back. Called Quality at 12:30 and had cold air blowing by 1:30. Not only repaired the problem but also offered advice on how to extend the life of our units. Will be switching providers for sure.

In keeping with the general tone of 2020, my air conditioning went out today while it was 106° outside. I called several companies and got the run around about scheduling a time to come out and fix it before finding Quality Cooling and Heating. A live person answered the phone, listened as we described what was wrong, and then arrived 30 minutes later. We also got a text letting us know who was coming with a photo. Daniel was very courteous and professional and got the ac working in a few minutes. He then took the time to make sure all of our vents were open (they weren’t) and blowing cold air. We decided to sign up for a maintenance plan and use them going forward.
They responded within 30 minutes on a 102 degree day when our air conditioner went out. Other companies would have us wait for two days. Colby was friendly and gave us options as we have a coil leak. Not yet sure of the outcome as he gave us freon and told us to give it a few days to see how big a leak it is. Also repaired the blade. I can repost the outcome in the future. Hopefully, it wont be too costly a fix as coils can go for $3000.00. Overall very satisfied so far! Update: the fan blade was gone and the total repair was only $210.00!

After returning from vacation our system wasnt working. I called for service early Sat morning, 0800. Dan sent me a text that he was on the way shortly after I called. He repaired the problem quickly and we began to warm up.

I really liked how flexible they were working with a contactless visit. I really appreciated getting a text when the tech was on the way with a name and picture attached. Also, I when called to schedule, they were here the next day right at the beginning of the 2hr window they gave me.
