Master Johnny is the best! Weve been going there for 4 years and we would never go anywhere else. He really cares about the kids and he is legit. Hes the real deal. He knows his stuff! Other places we looked into were either insanely priced or were cheesy. Having had brothers learn karate from a real karate master when we were kids, I can spot a fake. We love that there were no crazy contracts or fees and my boys love Master Johnny. They (and I, now that I am in the adult Muay Thai class) have learned so much! I tell everyone to go to him. Its the best!

I am one of masters students, I have my second degree black belt in his karate class and my family and him built a really good bond together so he is not only my teacher but my friend and I will support him in every way possible. He has done so much for me and trained me for the world championship. Because of him I won first place or second in all the styles I completed in and I am now an 11x world champion. This is an excellent Martial Arts studio. My son has been attending for over three and a half years. The training and discipline hes received has been a key part of his development as a pre-teen, and now a teenager. I highly recommend this studio if you are interested in Karate. Master Johnny Aranda teaches several different styles.

My kids have been going for almost 3 years now and love it. Master Johnny is tough on them, but also the kindest man you could meet. I initially picked USA Karate in Layton because of allof the different martial arts styles that were taught. I was so impressed with Master Johnny and his program that I started going to the adult Kickboxing classes--which are both a tough workout, and a fun time learning all of the combinations and moves. It has become a place that my whole family loves.

Seriously. My kid went here 2 years regularly. I Told Master Johnny we are going to pull him for the summer. Just to much going on with us and I don’t have the money right now. I’ll call you in September to get it rolling again. Master Johnny wants to bill me $100 for one lesson of karate in June. If we don’t pay the $100 that he won’t give my son his green belt he earned the week prior. MY EX WIFE PAID FOR THAT $30 BELT. And the kicker!!!!!!! Said...When we bring him back he will demote him to yellow belt. I’m not the best customer and hardly ever pay on time. But. I make paying the dues a priority for him. No online payment. No Apple Pay. Cash or check only. Help me pay you dude. These whole events show there is little compassion for the kids and the work they put in with you. Finally. I’m pretty sure there is much better and much cheaper place too.

Best Martial Arts school. My kids love it. Ive started taking self defense and Master Johnny Aranda is incredibly talented. Ive learned more and feel more confident. If your looking at getting into martial arts check this place out they also have the best prices. Well worth it.

My two sons have been going here for years. One of my sons is black belt in kick boxing, and both my sons should be testing for their black belts in mixed martial arts. My sons have both been diagnosed with high functioning autism, and with learning disabilities. Master Johnny Aranda has been able to pull them both out of their shells, to the point that they both help him teach the classes and love going to martial arts still. They are both more independent, they stand up for themselves and know that fighting is not the best way to handle things. They have improved in school in all ways i cant thank master aranda enough.

Ive been going here for a little over a year and a half and my ability and overall health have vastly improved. Master Aranda is a great man, a caring individual and a genuinely talented martial artist. Ive learned so much and Ive never had more fun in my life.
