They literally won’t give you a quote over the phone unless they come out to take a look. They won’t give ball park amounts or anything. Tried to get a price on my water heater and the lady on the phone just keeps saying sorry they need to come take a look.

They tried to charge me $350.00 to replace a 4 inch piece of pex pipe. Talk about price inflation!!! It reminded me of an old saying, When you do something good, no one remembers. When you do something bad, no one forgets!! I wont be calling them ever again!!! The tool and parts only cost $71.00. Of that, 62.00 was for the tool. Which means, they tried to really take advantage of somebody in hopes that they would willingly be robbed!!!! They didnt bring a gun, but still charged me $140.00 for doing absolutely nothing. Claiming it was a standard after hours rate just for showing up. I called at 4:30pm. In my world that is normal business hours. Never again !!!!!!

Excellent, professional, and amazing work ethic. They came out and had to replace my sewer line to the city main. There was a problem along the way, which didnt surprise me with this house,but explained everything to me and got the job done. There was never a lag in days, they were on time and courteous. I will be using them again if I ever have any other plumbing needs.

Called Pippin for a sewer blockage and the plumber did nothing or attempted to do anything but make a series of excuses why he cant repair as requested. I even stated that I would like him to just run a snake under the sink because that fixed it the last time we had this issue (3 yrs ago). Charged us 139 dollars for a call out fee and told us everything he could not do. Called Micks Plumbing and an hour and a half later our problem fixed. Thanks Micks Plumbing For trusting the homeowners who have Insurance for problems that may arise and have lived in the home for 18years.

The ladies that answer the phone are nice and helpful no matter who answers. They have worked me in as soon a possible. The work was done quickly with friendly technicians. So grateful for them and getting heat back in my home.

The first time I had them come out, I had to call them a bunch of times. When I finally got a plumber, he was quiet expensive, but he did a good job. I just called them to see if they would inspect the pipes on a new home Im purchasing. Even though I have a contract that explicitly states that Im able to have inspectors on the plumbing, I was told that they wont do the inspection without approval from the owner. Seems like they are always finding reasons not to help.If I were you, I would find someone else. They might be more helpful, and they might be a little fairer on the price.

In my experience ... rip off. I have found other companies both times who did high quality work for much less. I recently paid $140 for a quote which was a joke- $8200. Which they could not even fix right away. He straight up said we cannot fix this today or tomorrow. Even though he said he said several times that they were were currently slow right now. I found a company who will fix it for almost half the price and use better materials than what was proposed and go a longer distance. DO NOT RECOMMEND. NO MILITARY DISCOUNT either.

While talking to one of the representatives on the phone, she was willing to give me far more information than the other companies I called. Once the technician, Bobby Burris, came to the house, he was willing to communicate and answer the many questions I had. I had an emergency plumbing repair I needed done. My plumber, John, was there within an hour. He assessed the job, taught me exactly what I had done wrong in the first place, and walked me through a couple different options and what they would cost. The job had a couple hiccups, and he would stop and explain everything to me each time. He even played along when my 7 year old daughter wanted to help. Overall great experience and I wont go to anyone else for my future plumbing needs.

Another heating company told us we needed extensive & expensive repairs on our furnace. I called Pippin Brothers for a 2nd opinion and am so glad I did. Ray Shirley was able to get our furnace going perfectly easily, and I only had to pay the usual service fee, which was nearly $20 less than the other company. I will never use any heating & a/c company but Pippin Bros.

After having no heat for almost three weeks, Pippin Bros. came out on the coldest freezing day and installed a furnace. Just want to share that Brandon and his assistant technician were probably icicles when they went home that evening, but they did an excellent job in the most horrible conditions to provide heat in my house. Josh was punctual with the emergency service call and follow-up work. The estimate was spot on and my insurer approved it without any problems. Because it was a leak under the slab, the responsible lines were difficult to locate (not Joshs fault). I only wish the estimate had included repairs to the sheet rock, but that is a minor issue (any insurance company is always going to go for the lowest option).Overall, great work and Josh cleaned up after the job was done.

The main water line from the meter to the house ruptured! It was the old galvanized iron and we had to replace it and since our home in the Fields and Dunning neighborhood was build in 1940, everything under the house was galvanized as well and needed replaced! I cannot express how above and beyond John went to get the job done and get it done right!!!!! We are so very pleased with the professionalism, kindness, and workmanship!!!!! We have so much water pressure, it will blast me out of the shower! Wow! I had no idea how bad our water pressure was!!!!!! Pippin Brothers also installed out ac/heating unit plus all new duct work and sealed all vents! Our utility bill have decreased 55%!!!!!!!! We were losing 40% of heat in our attic from old ducts and an old inefficient heating and air system! THANK YOU PIPPIN BROTHERS!!!!!!!! I liked the service I recieved until my water heater was installed. The drip pan from the old water heater was used. I asked the guys installing my water heater and they said the larger one was from a previous job. The new water heater is larger than the old one so if the safty valve popped it would not catch the water. The guys who installed my water heater had to move my washer and when they were done they hooked up the hoses backwards. It took me a few days and google to figure out the error message on my washer.

My AC stopped working last night, and by the time I gave up and called it was already 12:15. I thought as I was calling, Well see if they really mean 24/7 service. The tech (Dusty) was at my house by 12:30-12:45, found the problem quickly, replaced the broken part with off-the-truck parts, ordered a factory part, and was done before 2:00 am. He was very professional and courteous. Im very happy with the customer service provided by the whole team (the sales rep who sold us the equipment 18 months ago, the installers, the receptionists, and the service techs). This is just an awesome company.

Around 11 am Shane & Cardell showed up and got right to work working on my clogged drains. My house didnt have a clean out installed so we opted to have one installed in case it happened again. They worked hard and all day to get everything done and everything work great now! Will definitely use again!

My A/C was under warranty for a replacement part. Pippin Bros. Said it would cost $$$.$$ for AN INSTALL PRICE OF 4/5 HRS OF LABOR. THE INSTALL TOOK LESS THAN 2.5 HRS UPON COMPLETION. Therefore my bill should have been adjusted but it was not. Talked with one of the owners (Shanon Pippin) for a reduction but was given excuses to justify the price of HIGH PRICED install. Bottom line honesty is still the best policy in business etc. This was not right....period.

We had one company come out and they didnt know why our plumbing was backing up. We called a second one who told us we needed the sewer line replaced from house to the city plumbing. Their price was not affordable. Then we called Pippin Brothers and they came out the same day for only $30.00. They gave us several different options on replacing the sewer line with different warranties. They were almost half the price of the other company. They were out two days later and spent two full days replacing the sewer line. They were great to work with!

Called Saturday morning, told someone would be here in 30 mins to one hour, John was here within an hour. Found and fixed the blockage through an old pipe he dug up in the back yard. The lady who scheduled the appointment was very nice and helpful. What I did not appreciate was being taken advantage of! They replaced a toilet part that couldn’t have costed more than $20. It took him not even 5 mins to replace the part. He charged me $166!! I will never use them again

Quoted upwards of 3 grand for a possible slab leak and guess what? It wasnt even a water leak. Your tech misdiagnosed it and left parts uninstalled when he diagnosed it. It was the a clogged line on the ac unit. I guess all your company is concerned about is $$$ and not taking care of their customers. Its ok though I had Gordons plumbing fix it for 100 bucks. I WILL NEVER REFER ANYONE TO YOU OR DO BUSINESS WITH YOU IN THE FUTURE

My experience was more like the Pimping Brothers, they came out on a Sunday @ $138 off hours flat rate. Then the total to fix a leaking outside pipe would be $215 only to not have it fixed and was told something else was wrong. The next day the price went up to $309 and then finally $468 after it was repaired.

Called for a quote on a hot water heater!! Ive been in need of one for a few months so Ive been shopping around and know the average cost of what a new heater costs!! Pippen brothers sent a service tech out promptly to give me and estimate. Which was great however the estimate was INSANE!! $1740.00. Dont think so!! I went to Gordon white purchased a 50 gallon heater for $399.00 plus tax loaded it up in my SUV. Hauled it home, unloaded it by myself!! And heres what installation cost me....... Abdolutely NOTHING, 3 connects is all it consisted of I installed it by myself. Heres the best part..... Im a woman in my late 40s with NO plumbing experience! Pippen Brothers must stand for American Greed!!!!! Dont get ripped off people!!!

Over priced company taking advantage of the unknowing. They charged me over $600 to replace a kitchen sink faucet. They told my wife over the phone the the pipes and faucet where leaking and needed to be replaced. They were really talking about the feed lines( you know the little screw on lines that cost $10) no real plumbing expertise needed. When I asked for the brand of faucet they installed they would not tell me. Sounds like someone is hiding something...

Bobby was even able to provide me with another copy of the manual for my thermostat, I will definately use Pippin Brothers for HVAC service (if necessary) in the future.

I saved $867!!! My water heater needed to be replaced because of a hole, it was constantly leaking and costing me money. When the tech came out to my home and confirmed I needed a new water heater he quoted me a price of $1300 installed. I told him for that price Ill figure out how to do it myself. I went to LOWES and bought a water heater and other supplies I needed to complete the installation. 2 hours later, job complete for $433. Thank you Pippin brothers, if not for your high prices I never would have learned how to do this myself.

Started using Pippin Brothers approx. three years ago and everything was fine until about a year ago. I am not sure what happened but something definitely shifted. Our water heater blew up about 8 or so months ago. Come to find out that it didnt meet codes and Pippin Brothers had been looking at it for two years... So much for the inspection skills. Well that was fixed and apologies were made, all was right with the world again. Now this last weekend I get a service call because of a leak from the self tapping valve that leads to our ice maker. Well let me start with the fact that the service tech was here for an hour and it was still leaking. His solution: seal the hole and come back ANOTHER DAY to fix it, meanwhile I no longer have ice. He was rambling about puting in a T in the pipe and some other stuff, he even pointed into the wall and told my wife that the leak was from back there. I asked him if he had taken off the vavle and inspected it for the seals? His answer: it doesnt work like that, assuming he was talking about the vavle in the first place. Maybe not! So after I had enough of his runaround I kicked him out of my house, by the way dont ever come back Roger. Then the service manager called me giving excuses for his tech, HE WASNT EVEN HERE! So much for customer service. So after calming down, I choose to fix it myself, from getting out of my pajamas, turning off the water, draining the pipes, taking off the part, going to Ace Hardware and picking up a new part, installing it, to turning the water back on... drum roll please.... 40 MINUTES! Did I mention Roger, the licensed plumber was in my house for an hour with every excuse known to man but without a feasable solution? By the way $6.52 in parts might have been over $30.00 if I had allowed Roger to install a T in that pipe. So I talk to Shannon Pippin herself today giving yet more excuses for the tech. CUSTOMER SERVICE TIP: Just say you are sorry and give up a free service call or something... this is not brain surgery ITS CUSTOMER SERVICE! Just make the customer believe that you are going to handle the situation. So needless to say I have left the overpriced Pippin Brothers because they no longer instill confidence in me about their work. You know I paid because I dont want to do the work, not because I cant.

Called for emergency visit for heat..house is almost below 60 degrees. $169.00 just to come to the house, not repair. Robinson Air $65.00. Do the math.
