Stopped by to see if these guys were able to turn an old drum brake for a 1964.5 Mustang, as replacement parts were hard to find locally. They took care of it no problem. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and honest. Ill be coming back to these guys in the future.

Hello.The mechanics were GREAT and the service was very well done.My reason for giving only 3 Stars is the fact that the window motor from your part supplier cost more than twice as much as what I see for same motor online.$500.00 for a simple front passenger window motor, not counting Labor, is an outrageous amount to pay when I see the exact same motor online for less than half as much.Since I trust your company and do not think you overcharged me you might want to find a better and less expensive parts house..... Because they definitely OVERCHARGED You !!!

Real professional and thorough crew, directly involved with their customers. Offered to charge me half of their standard rate for an oil change since I brought my own oil & filter. They even test-drive their customers cars around Artesia afterwards. Two days later, I get a text from Qazi, one of the mechanics who was involved, asking about my cars performance. Maybe its just sales tactics, but I was pretty impressed. lol.

Great experience overall. Had a muffler replaced. Free estimate, and management went above and beyond to provide me with exact costs, and scheduling the appointment for the repair to minimize my time spent at the shop. Wow... Charged me over $1600 for AC parts that were not broken, and they couldnt fix the problem. Arts AC fixed for under $300.

Went in with my trunk opening from my remote an left there an it doesnt work an also my gas tank is bent an doesnt work. But the tire job is good though.

I had the best customer service experience yesterday from management all the way down to the mechanic. I also had the opportunity to meet and speak with the owner who happened to be there. He was also incredibly warm and gracious with his conversation. My car was in an out and my brakes are amazing. They accommodated me last minute and had me up on the rack and out of there in less than 45 minutes which is shocking because most places take over an hour. I was really grateful for the hard work and the quality that I received. I think what really stood out was the personalities and the service I highly recommend this place and I will be coming back.

Ive been a customer of this Meineke Car Care Center for several years now. I keep coming back because, first of all, I trust these guys. I trust Qazi, the management and the sales team to always tell me exactly what my car needs and offer a fair price for the work. Ive been to other shops that I know have tried to peddle repairs and services that I dont need. They dont do that here. At least, not in my experience.The mechanics are well trained and competent. Throughout the years, if Ive ever had a problem, these guys will make it right.

Levis team was great. I felt very comfortable leaving my Astro van with them to replace front engine mounts. His pre-inspection allowed me to budget the work needed, based on priority. The shop has free WiFi, TV, coffee, water.The only thing bad is the location. Its a small driveway at a T intersection. You can only enter from two directions. I had to do a U turn nearly three blocks further east.

Came in for a vehicle inspection for Uber and an oil change/tire rotation. The staff is super friendly and professional. They took care of both things needed quickly and efficiently and the prices are good and reasonable! I will be using this shop for more of my cars needs in the future!

Downgrading my prior review of two stars to one star for the following reason. So as fate would have it the very day of my not so flattering review of this business, my wife and I were leaving our home for an outing when we both heard a clunk from within the engine compartment of the vehicle we had serviced by this establishment. When I went to check to see where the sound came from, I noticed a pool of steadily growing fluid from beneath our automobile. I thought to myself, this just cant be happening, but soon realized it was happening and proceeded to instruct my wife to turn off the automobile. Upon closer inspection I noticed that the oil filter had blown clean off the engine and was now lying at the bottom of the engine compartment. No, really. Needless to say, the growing pool of fluid turned out to be the oil that Im pretty sure is supposed to remain in the engine.So not only did this business not tighten the coolant hoses they installed, noted in my earlier review, but it turns out they also installed the wrong oil filter. If thats the kind of service youre looking for, then by all means have at it. As for me, Ill be calling them in the morning to demand a refund for the oil and oil filter purchased to correct their incompetence.The silver lining in all this is that the oil seepage from our engine block, which I thought may have been due to a blown head gasket from the excessive revving of our engine, also noted in my earlier post, may turn out to have been oil splatter from the installation of an incorrect oil filter.Really guys, you couldnt even get the oil change right, wow!Note: The oil filter on the left is the Meineke installed oil filter, while the one on the right I purchased from Toyota.

Went in for a synthetic oil change. They did a good job, inspected my auto for free and recommended some services without high pressure or scare tactics to make me spend more money. So trust that they will take care of my auto if I go back and get additional repairs done.

I called ahead to make sure they did Uber inspections when I got there they were very friendly and it took them about 15 minutes to complete the inspection and I asked them if they fixed smart cars because my son has issues with his motor and they even gave me a estimate to check it and to repair it I would recommend them to friends and family

I used them for my Uber and Lyft inspection. They were done in 20 minutes. It did not take long, and they do both. Excellent work!

Randy was helpful polite and answered my questions about my car’s brakes. He gave me info on what should be done and what could wait. He explained their warranty. He and co-worker worked diligently on my car and had it completed on time to what he said. I feel very confident in my car’s brake system now. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

The mechanics there leave the parts on and in your car. They did a oil change and a day later I had my spark plugs changed I was driving the car and I now have a blown engine. They will give you every excuse and reason the service provided was done properly unfortunately I have a lot of questions.

Everyone there is so helpful. I took my car in because I was taking a road trip to AZ the next day. I drive a stick shift and my gears werent catching properly. Turns out my clutch was about to go out, so the mechanics stayed late and had my car ready for me by the next morning that way I could be on the road on time. By far the nicest and most caring mechanics Ive ever had the pleasure of working with and I will continue to go there for all the other work I need done in the future.

Its Sunday and most of the Auto Repair are closed. Turned out Meineke was the closest one from me. Called them and asked if they are available to help with my car brake system. The guy was really friendly and told me to come in.Once I got there, they offered me with warm welcome and coffee. The nicest auto repair I have ever been to. Looked into my issues and told me the estimated time and price. Did it in an hour! Really happy with their service and highly recommend!!

The guys are great, but when they took the car part to see exactly what all needed to be done and they said they would go over the results with me I never decide what needed to be done and what I could you. Well when I called because I hadnt heard anything from them I was told that my car was ready done he picked up. So it was a water pump that was replaced and some hoses and when I get it back it sounds like a diesel engine its knocking so hard when it runs it never did that theyre saying that its my lifters, and so you took the car part he saw that the lifters needed to be redone replace in a few other lots of other things in the car as well but instead you just replace the water pump throw it back together the dashboard my whole front console is all jacked up from it being taken apart I know it was messed up to begin with but its really messed up now and Ive got a $3,100 bill for a water pump and some new hoses a oil change. So much for the lifters or other major things like my motor mounts but no $3,100 for an oil change new water pump a new hoses really. Now I noticed the knocking as soon as I turn the car over I didnt even pull out of Meineke parking lot I brought it to the guys attention and they said to run it for a couple of days or week or so if it doesnt stop bring it back in and they would do another oil change, now mind you I just had an oil change a couple of months prior to any of this with them and then when they did the water pump they didnt know they did another oil change of course because it was emptied all out. So I driving around for about a week its only getting worse. I take it back, they replace the oil, with the oil that I already requested, which is the heavier oil the 20 weight, and they add this stuff this foam stuff from Lucas and another foam stuff from another company too! Two bottles of this fabulous foam stuff thats supposed to work on the lifters and make them not knock 2 cans two different kinds of this foam for the lifters and no difference. And when I go to leave after 3rd oil change with foam (this last), Im asked if I paid ..... paid???? Paid for a oil change and foam when I was told to bring it back and you would do it no charge, of course. So my moral of this story, well I got a my car worked on when I was in a tight spot, but my car is no better than before, actually it is way worse and those bad lifters should have been replaced/dealt with before my car was put back together, oh wait, thats right,everything should have been dealt with before any work at all was done, instead of tearing it apart putting a new water pump on changing some hoses and oil and throwing it back together and telling me that my lifters are bad and not to fix him everything has to be torn apart again which Id have to pay for all over after just being charged $3,100 wow! Lesson learned!! Maybe I should just another mechanic from some other reputable business look over everything you guys have done and everything you charged me for just to see how much you took me in on because we all know you got your money and Im stuck with a sick car thanks guys !

It took a while for the work to be done but I dont want a rush job done on my car no way and then have to bring it back. The mechanics are very helpful and friendly and they know their stuff. If you afraid of spending a lot of money, dont come here but if you want repairs where you get what you pay for, this is the shop to come to and if you let the manager know what kinda money you have to spend, theyll work with you on the price. I recommend them to anybody wanting their car fixed.

Pros: Cheryl, at the front desk, gets 5 stars. It is also nice that they do a run through inspection of the whole vehicle.Cons: They are expensive and they are slow! I only went in for an oil change (full synthetic). I was originally told it would be 45 minutes, it was 2.5 hours! For me, the cons outweigh the pros.

I am used car dealer.i took a 2010 FORD fusion with grinding noise which no other shop, could properly diagnose. they put it on the rack and then went for a road test and found the axle to be bad.super service.highly recommended.

Yes yes yes! I was blown away with this car center, the associate who helped me was AWESOME. I dealt with a tall slim attractive white man, I think he was clay? ;) I was previously given a maintenance job estimate which was apparently lower than it should have been. When I went back in he honored the lower quoted price no problem. I was very appreciative so I bought new tires there (since I was needing it) and he gave me a way better deal than other places I looked into. He was really kind about negotiating when I could pick up the car and even offered to drive back to the shop if I got there after it closed up. I will be going back there again and again and found my new maintenance shop.

I took my car there for repairs, problem with horn randomly going off while driving. Klay and Charlie, in office very knowledgeable and helpful .One mechanic Ron, does not listen well, rest are great, very helpful, very slow, took my car in about 11AM, 4:30PM,, mechanic still have not looked at my car

I really enjoyed the service at Meineke Car Care Center in Lawndale. I went in for car service (break job, headlight bulb replacement). Clay greeted me at the front lobby. He was really nice and an honest person. He dirent try to sell me a service that I did not need. He told me that my car did some other service and was able to provide an estimate which I really appreciate. Over all the experience was positive and great. I will defitnely come next time for other car maintenance.

This is the 2nd time Ive been to this shop to have my oil changed and both times the service there has been great. Quick & affordably priced oil changes are the reason why I will continue to come back. Their location may not be the most convenient to get to on Artesia, but other shops nearby are a great way to spend 30-45mins while having your oil changed. Paid $42 for 5.5 qts oil in my 4cyl turbo Ford sedan.

I will never recommend this shop to anyone looking for a job to be done on their vehicle.. they are scamers. I sat their and heard the service writer I believe celvin/charly was his name tell a customer that returned for a brake noise concern acter they did a brake job. 1st the tech did not go on a test drive to verify the concern. 2nd the service writer had no valid explanation of the cause of the brake noise. All the writer said to customer was the fluid is making the noise because fluid just sits their.(the hell of an excuse to up sell all kinds of brake jobs) it cost the customer $500+. What shame this shop. Another thing they tell me that the service that will be done on my vehicle will take 45min. 10 minutes later he said i will have to charge you extra for further tech time.. Okay why??? If u gave me a promise time already. One last thing a lady came in to get an oil change and they said synthetic is not a synthetic blend your vehicle needs synthetic blend but your vehicle need more quarts we will charge you an extra quart. Whaaaatt????

We went here for the ratings, stated of great ....then....This place robbed us of 1600 and joked about it a FEW TIMES ... LITERALLY., fixed the incorrect part and knew we were on vacation and a large family .... so I guess vulnerable in their eyes.. To say the least. I was told by Toyota they fixed the incorrect part. Then the part they replaced it with was a part that (and apparantly all auto mechanics should know this if they are worth going to) you can not start the car until you have successfully programmed the part and only toyota has the software to do so. Well me and my family trusted these guys. They seemed so nice. And we thought wow! What a blessing tho.Needless to say it was just to cover up what was about to happen. We lost all breaks and we are a family of 6. We just got new breaks. Just spent 1600 in ca . Just ruined vacay . And were sent home 2000 Mikes away on a vaulter acctuator.Good thing we are believers right ? TyjAlso we get and Toyota said since they fixed it incorrectly AND it was the incorrect part . .. they can now not warranty out the part. Mineke manager said he would refund the labor ? EXCUSE ME ? though the entire thing was incorrect and now I can not replace it without another 1300 ? ..Hmmmm ....And do you thing we got the refund ? Nope. Called back Nick said he would look in to how the store manager wanted to go about getting us the refund and see if he was willing to do the entire amount.... and NEVER A WORD ... I called back the CA location, several times and guess what NICK NO LONGER WORKS HERE.... is there some thing I can do for you? I asked to talk to the store manager Kahzy (that great guy) and no call back .... several times.Oh and we found out this part he needed to fix should never go out before the life of the car :DPlease man up Kahzy and call us we will next be filing a complaint. You are leaving us no choice. Hope its lack of messages from your employee but even that is unacceptable.Completely unacceptable. I have gone through this for over 6 months. And stuck with a car and payment and not able to drive . Ok

I just took my car to get repairs because of a bad radiator leak and Qazi and his amazing staff fixed it. They were kind and caring and really worked with me regarding pricing. They even stayed an hour and a half past closing at no extra charge to get me my car back the same day. I will never take my car anywhere else.

I went in for service and these guys were great! The new manager was vary friendly and worked with me on a priority list to do my repairs. He also worked with me on the price, and was half the price of everyone else. The new technicians were able to explain in a way i could understand, what my car needed.

Very nice owner, and great honest service. I got my oil changed, air conditioning recharged, and back breaks done. My car runs excellent and the air conditioning is like new! Thank you Meineke Escondido. Ill be back!
